Expérience négative: Didn’t answer the phone when I wanted to buy a membership for my nephew for Christmas and called me back the next day. Too late. I signed him up for fitforless instead, it’s open 24 hrs and it’s less expensive. Moral of the story is If you want business you gotta work. You can’t run a business on phones answered by robots and voicemails. Covid is over get back to work.

I’m so glad we added this to our gym! My glutes are happy too! Shout out Megan for being awesome and always helpful and supportive! The team at this location is always amazing! 10/10 ⭐️

Expérience fantastique: overall, this is a great gym. I personally prefer Anytime fitness over any other bigger gyms. I had an issue with my membership and it was promptly resolved by the owner.

This is the first gym I haven't felt intimidated to try some of the more intimidating machines and Meagan was so nice to give me a demo.

Expérience fantastique: My first time being at anytime fitness and the experience was great! Leslie gave me a great tour and asked the perfect questions to understand my fitness goals. I have registered for a year membership and I have full confidence I will enjoy my time there!

Expérience négative: Was emailed a free day pass so I came to workout. I was denied access to the gym as I had been there as someone's guest months prior. The front desk girl justified denying me access by saying; the issue not being her fault as she did not email me and it not being her problem because she is not anytime fitness. She stipulated the fine print specifies I am not eligible and encouraged me to read it. This is what the fine print states "If you have already taken a tour or used a free day pass and would like to join right away, simply use the "Join Now" link to sign up. Otherwise, feel free to book an appointment or visit us during staffed hours." Nowhere does this state that I should be denied access. I even visited during staffed hours... Finally, she offered me a day pass for $20. I was considering switching gyms to workout with my girlfriend, but this egregious experience has turned me away from anytime fitness barrie. To comment on your response, using a members guest pass does not equal myself using a free day pass. I was never given a free day pass until now. Therefore, should be treated as such.

The Barrie location has been my home gym for a few months now and I would have to say it is one of my favourite locations. The gym is amazing, it’s always clean, tidy and organized! Not to mention the friendliest staff, I look forward to talking with Megan, Leslie and Debra, as they always bring a smile to my workouts!

Expérience fantastique: Anytime fitness Barrie is my go to gym! It’s a small gym with a cute small town feel. From all the equipment and space being clean and organized to kind, welcoming members. Not to mention the most amazing staff: Leslie, Megan and Debra. Whether they’re working or working out they’re always friendly; never letting you pass without a smile and a wave letting you know you’re welcome. You couldn’t find a better location.

Expérience fantastique: Such a nice little gym! I went in to use their free single day pass (available to residents of Barrie) and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and new the equipment was! I was given a tour by Megan who was very professional and helped me feel super comfortable in a new gym! I’ve been a member of GoodLife for over 10 years so I’ve become particular about my likes, dislikes and non-negotiables for a gym. Pros for ATF Barrie : Super clean Looks brand new The staff is so friendly SO MUCH NATURAL LIGHT Not crowded (I went at 1:30pm on a weekday) Showers and water fountains available Showers are PRIVATE! Lockers available Has everything you need for a full body workout including squat racks, turf with a sled, accessory machines, dumbbells up to like 110, benches and really really nice treadmill that gave me Pelaton vibes! 24 hours despite what the hours online state Studio space which is public unless there’s a class booked Memberships grant you access to all AF locations Cons: Small- so if the peak hours are busier, you may wait for equipment, but Megan said it never gets busier than like 12 people in there Squat racks but no actual deadlift platforms which I’ve become accustomed to Showers are private but I believe there’s only 2 of them No sauna, pool or hot tub No change-rooms, but there are 4 private bathrooms available to change in Overall I had a great time working out here and would definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn’t mind a smaller gym in exchange for a friendly, comfortable atmosphere and new equipment. If you’re new to gyms this spot is fantastic! If you’re a seasoned gym goer it may be smaller than what you’re used to but give it a shot with the free pass ! The staff alone may be worth the switch ;)

Expérience fantastique: I have been to about 4 different gyms in Barrie so far, two of which had the 24/7 set up. Out of all gyms, Anytime Fitness has been my absolute favourite! I’ve gone to the gym more frequently than I ever have in all of my attempted fitness journeys… LOL. There are many reasons why I love this gym: 1. I love how clean it is! The employees are literally always making sure it is spotless. 2. All the equipment is new, they have basically everything, oh and the purple turf!!! 3. The 24/7 access of course. It never feels too crowded because people are all going at different times! 4. The absolutely lovely staff! Especially LESLIE and MEGAN! Leslie let me know all the information I needed to know about this gym and the memerbships. She also let me know she’s always there to help and that she even offers personal training! Talking with her helped me with my indecisiveness and solidified my choice joining this gym. Oh and she’s also just lovely to talk with when you need a break in between sets! Megan was there when I originally picked up my fob. She was so welcoming and made the experience at a new gym seamless! She is always smiling and wanting to interact with all the members. Anytime I come to the gym, I always look forward to our little chats before I get my workout started or in between my sets! If you are debating on whether you should join, you should 100% do it. You won’t regret it!

As someone who deals with social anxiety, I was initially nervous about starting my fitness journey. However, thanks to the incredible support and assistance of Meg, my fears quickly melted away. Meg, who deserves far more recognition for her dedication, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcomed. She patiently guided me through the gym, explaining the equipment, and even helping me create a workout plan tailored to my goals. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel like I belonged, and I can’t express enough how much that means to someone like me. She’s a true asset to Anytime Fitness Barrie, and her genuine care for members sets this gym apart. Overall, my experience here has been amazing, and I owe much of that to Meg’s exceptional customer service. Expérience négative: The gym itself is very nice, good vibes and i love that it’s 24 hours and a lot safer with a key card rather than what PF does. Very disappointed with the customer service tho, I joined the military and went to cancel my account, which they wanted me to email them proof of moving which is totally fine. Once i got to Basic Training I didn’t have access to my phone so I continued paying which I was fine with. I then cancelled the payments on my bank’s end and then went in a couple months later to find out I had 300$ in payments to make. Only to find out that my account could have been frozen the whole time. Would’ve been very nice to know about, I definitely won’t be back.

Expérience fantastique: Definitely one of the greatest gyms I've been to. The staff is friendly and helpful, such as Megan who greeted me on my first visit and was very informative on what Anytime Fitness had to offer. The equipment and bathrooms are kept very clean. The layout of the gym is well thought out. Most importantly, the water refill station has awesome water! You will find this gym is smaller than a few other ones in Barrie, yet it is never crowded and I rarely find myself waiting to use equipment (even during the busiest of times). 100% recommend checking this gym out, especially if you're looking to get a crazy pump!

Expérience fantastique: I decided to go down and check this place out since it is so close to me. I met with Elena and she was super friendly and very informative. I felt like I had known her forever the way she spoke to me. She gave me a tour, explained all the packages and I’m serious when I say, I felt no pressure at all. I actually felt extremely supported in whatever decision I made. Committing to the gym is hard especially with how busy life is. I got a chance to meet with Leslie who also went over a lot of stuff with me and really listened to what my goals were. I decided to join and started an 8 week program. I am three weeks in and I am loving it. Workouts tailored to me, the app is easy to navigate and the gym is super clean. I feel really comfortable coming here. It’s a really inclusive environment and the staff are super friendly. Leslie is my favourite. She really has such good energy and an upbeat personality. I really feel like she’s cheering me on which is helping me teach my goals. Im really happy this place is so close. Im 15 months postpartum and working out is really helping me get my mental health back on track.

Very warm place with warm hearted people well worth the price. The trainers are helpful and my trainer Leslie D puts a lot of time and effort into making sure my workout is suited for my needs. You can’t go wrong with Anytime Fitness!

It's small, has poor customer service, year-long contracts, odd policies, small bathrooms with no counters to put your belongings and a weak showerhead... The list goes on. Unless you desperately need a gym you can attend at 2AM, there are far better options across Barrie. Editing after reply: I was NOT given a 6 month or a no obligation option on sign up, so either you're lying, or your associates need better training.

Expérience fantastique: This gym is amazing, very very clean, all brand new equipment, no bad experiences yet. The tour and membership setup was fast and educational (10 minutes). The only gripe I have is no dedicated hip thrust area/bench, the bench’s have long legs that stick out so you can’t put them against the wall without tipping while hip thrusting, and the big foam blocks are too tall. Hip thrusting is an extremely popular exercise now between men and women so I hope we can get glute bench for the carpet area maybe.
