Expérience positive: Although The gym is not that big, everything looks very professional. The staff are good. I really like the massage equipment.

Expérience négative: Literally just signed up and went today, really dissapointing to see how cramped it is compared to other locations, my own fault i suppose for assuming and not checking it out prior, signed up online before going in person and now im going to have to travel to another location as I don't like the cramped vibe at this specific spot, there goes 72$ Im not going to get back :(. Expérience fantastique: This location is very clean,the staff have excellent customer service skills.The manager is a beautiful soul.Just wish they had more machines for leg workout but space might be a challenge,anyways I will still pick this gym anytime of the day!

You can go to more expensive gyms with longer hours and better equipment. Or travel to the further bigger gyms You will have to get creative with your workout due to the size of the gym and available equipment.

Expérience positive: lately even at 3pm the weight room has been very busy. It would be nice if they got rid of the massage table and put more racks or cable machines there instead. Its just unfortunate that your clients have to basically fight for a bench or cable machine or squat rack. Otherwise, the staff is amazing and one of the cleanest gyms Ive ever been to.

Expérience négative: I wanted to try the first session to see if this gym suits me and to check what it offers. They told me to pay $22 for this. Because of such service, I won't be coming back here.

Expérience fantastique: Even though the gym is small and the hours go based on the grocery store, this is one of the best gyms I have attended. It’s clean, the staff are nice and you can’t beat the price! It get’s the job done, has everything I need and is super close to Barrhaven! Sometimes if I want more, I’ll just head to another location. Definitely would recommend if you something that’s basic.

Expérience positive: It’s a pretty good gym with a decent amount of equipment. My only complaint is the closing time, 9pm is way too early for a gym to be closing.

Expérience négative: Terrible gym no exaggeration. You may think for the price this is not a bad gym especially if you’re a beginner but trust me, it is not worth it even if you use the bare minimum. The staff are not nice, the equipment is old, the other members are rude, and the hours are highly unreasonable. These aspects will actually make you go to the gym less and you’ll be unmotivated. The price is really not worth it and just pay a little extra or go further for a better gym. Trust me, in the end you’ll just be wasting your money and make zero progress!

Expérience positive: What I like here is the super friendly and professional staff. It has adequate equipment considering that the area is so limited and they are well placed, again considering the shape of the place. You can work out while peeping at the independent store shoppers doing their grocery shopping!!! What I dislike, really dislike, is that they close at 9 when the independent store closes.

Attempted to make a very reasonable account modification and was met with no flexibility from a manage who was very difficult to contact. They apparently prefer to deal with customers via email only and let their frontline staff isolate them from their paying customers. I do like to support local business but in this case I will not make this mistake again. I also have to pay an additional month upon cancellation but am unable to use the gym because of my situation. ============== In response to "Response from the owner": Is this note from the actual owner or a computer generated message designed to show a commitment to your clients? I ask this question since after tracking down the manager via email and then calling I was told that there was no room for flexibility as your policy is unassailable. ================ Update 2 - the next day As I suspected, no additional response from “the owner”. Computer generated response is quick but real life takes work. ================= Update 3 - weeks later Seeing more disappointed customers. “Hello . We are sorry for being of no service to you. DM one of our social media accounts and see your comment have no effect.” I see people saying it is great for $10/mo but please check your bank statement. $7.99 + tax every 2 weeks. So more like $9 x 26 weeks or $234.00 / yr + yearly fee. No showers. No management. ================== Update 4 - months later I see other people’s experience being similar to mine. ≈================= Update 5 - years later. Joined the city rec centres for about $480/yr (as long as you have a library card, which is free). Access to all facilities in the city. Weight rooms, pools, saunas, squash courts... Very pleased I made the switch.

Expérience fantastique: Emily always greets me with a big infectious smile! She very obviously cares so much about her customers and you can feel that in every interaction with her. It's always a treat when I turn the corner and see her at the front desk. Thanks Emily :)

Expérience négative: Very minimal machines, always very busy as the gym is the size of 6 parking spaces. Staff are very disrespectful and always in a bad mood to help with anything. Very dirty and dusty equipment. Better off not asking questions. Had my shoes stolen by staff after I left them at the front to change into my workout shoes. After I asked where they went at the front they said "we had no idea where they went as nothing customers bring in is any of our responsibility". Price freeze isn't a thing even if you signup for it so expect a $3 increase every month till you cancel. Bare minimum gym. I would recommend any other gym in ottawa. The only convenience this gym has is location. Opening and closing times are extremely unreasonable. Fit4less is the Dollarama or the chinese knockoff of what a gym is. -----UPDATE------ Management doesnt actually reply to these reviews and are automated. So much for the help!

Expérience négative: Posted a review a month ago regarding Sunday’s and how’s it’s the WORST day to come. Hasn’t changed, they hired 2 new people but that doesn’t apply for sundays apparently. Lots of the paper towel dispensers were out and even some bottles. Can you please schedule more people on Sunday’s. The only people that do their job are people who work Monday - Friday

Expérience positive: Good place too work out at. It's small, so don't expect them to have everything you'd like to work out with. But overall it's a good place with friendly staff

Expérience négative: People hate gyms for the same reasons: their cancellation policy and the hoops it takes to get there. Thankfully, this gym also follows this trend too so your expectations can still be set low. It takes 1 whole month to apparently process your cancellation request. That's 2-3 extra payments they happily collect from you because they can't do it the same day or even same week. Also, this gym is more concerned about emphasizing the manager's pronouns and she'll gladly let you know. At least the newer employees are happier this year than the last few years even if they are forced to wear a mask through all the sweaty spicy smell in there. No one answers emails until you use the store-specific email. Zendesk is only good for collecting your money and that's all. Pro Tip! Don't be afraid to drop the weights, nothing sounds the alarm.

Expérience négative: Got the membership primarily for tanning. The only tanning bed they have has been broken from the beginning of the year (over 6 months) now. Keep getting told that "corporate has to allow for it to be repaired".

Expérience positive: Smallest Fit4Less location I have ever seen. Old dusty carpet, please get rid of it. Air doesn’t smell clean because it it. No quick circuit section or massage chairs like the other locations. No virtual class area. On the plus side, they do have 1 hydro massage bed and 2 massage chairs. No tanning though at this time, although that could change. And all the basics equipment you need. The machines and equipment are not all the same as what you would get at their bigger locations. Don’t expect the same fancy grey and yellow equipment and facilities that are at the others. But it is better than nothing, and the price is super cheap, so totally worth the membership for the hydro massage bed alone, in my opinion. Conveniently located inside the Independent Grocer store on the second level. Would be great if they moved to a better, bigger location. One can hope!

Expérience fantastique: This gym is really awesome! The place has a lot of equipment, which is kept very clean. The best about that place is the staff. They are amazing: very friendly, welcoming and professional. They are always ready to help and maintain the place very clean. Really great people... I always look forward to see them! This gym is low frills, but for the amount paid (either $6 for basic access or $12 every two weeks for a lot of additional amenities), the value for money is great. I highly recommend it!

Expérience fantastique: I have been to many locations over the course of my fitness journey and I can honestly say that the current staff have great customer service. The gym is very clean and well kept. I’ve noticed many changes since the new manager started and can confidently say these changes will benefit members and the staff long term. I am happy to see an excited new face as management and can’t wait to see the positive changes she will make.

Expérience négative: Extremely rude staff. Keep on making up rules that don’t exist to avoid work. When I ask her name, she said “GO AHEAD AND COMPLAINT, WE DON’T HAVE A MANAGER ANYWAY.” Which is also a lie cause I call the bridlewood location and they said they have a manager at each location. When she keep on insisting they have to follow the “rules”, this other customer pointed out that is not how the other staff do it, same staff yell at her “YOU DONT WORK HERE YOU DONT KNOW!” After that when I ask her why this other customer experience different things than her “rules”, she told me “SHE MUST BULLIED OTHER STAFF TO GET WHAT SHE WANTS.” Highly unprofessional to make that assumption and to bad mouth the customers. If they would say things like that in front of me, CAN’T IMAGINE WHAT THEY WOULD SAY BEHIND MY BACK. So yeah, don’t feel safe to workout here anymore. If asking simple questions and asking them to do their job could get yelled at, get judged and getting a rude answer, not sure why I will still pay this membership.

The gym is small and there are very few equipments COMPARED TO OTHER LOCATIONS. You can come here for a casual visit but you won't like this location if you're a regular. Use other locations as this location is a total scam. Only plus point is that you can pick up some groceries, that may be it.

That's always the excuse. How about hiring more staff? I will let my membership expire and go somewhere else. Staff always hides in the staff room so you are waiting to be helped and when you ask for help it seems like you are bothering them never ever again
