Expérience positive: Great gym, lots of equipment, rarely busy. Staff are very kind and helpful.

Expérience positive: Janice the manager, tyler, john, jared and the big dude with tattoos are really nice to deal with! There are some staff members that are unwelcoming to the people of colour(immigrants ) and often come across rude! However, there are bad elements in everything! I would highly recommend fit4less as the people I mentioned above will give you a great experience.

Expérience fantastique: Super convenient gym, on my way to work. 24/7 except the showers (7am-10pm) sometimes they open a few minutes early which is amazing and I always appreciate. The gym is clean and the customers all seem to have great gym etiquette, doesn't seem too crowded. Well worth the price. The hydro massage beds are amazing after a good workout. I'm enjoying one right now while I post this. Enjoy.

Expérience positive: I was a member when it first came to St. John and now I’m back with the new Black card membership. I have to say the gym is pretty great, but I don’t like that you can’t use the massage chairs after staffed hours. I don’t think it’s fair to sell a black card if you can’t use the amenities all hours of the gym being open. ( besides the tanning machines, of course)

Expérience positive: Alright facility, fairly new and remodelled. Still could use some important improvements. Largely structured around machine exercises with a lack of accessibility to free weights unless you upgrade to black cards membership. Another issues is the front entrance, after entering if you had forgotten anything in your vehicle and staff aren’t present at the front you will be locked out and can’t get back in. Lastly and most importantly for working professionals is the shower facilities. For a newly renovated gym the showers must not have made the budget, prison style and no control over the temperature makes for a frustrating experience.

Expérience négative: We had a very unpleasant experience as members of Fit4Less Saint John, NB. The manager sent us a very rude email implying that we broke a privacy rule by recording a movement (we were careful to not portray anyone in the background). One person approached us in a very rude tone saying that we should be careful when recording, which we were, and this person even was in the other side of the room. After this, the manager didn’t approach us to know our version and just sent her accusing email just based on what this person said. We cannot be members of a gym that doesn’t treat their members with the same level of respect. Besides this bad experience, all the staff is very friendly. It is a shame that we have to leave, but we don’t feel that it is a safe place for us anymore.

Expérience négative: Don’t go to this place to workout. They don’t care for members experience, they have special treatment for specifics members, and lack of customer services at all. I have 10 years training and this is the first time a club treat their members this way. You have a lot of other options in Saint John, which can definitely offer a better service for members.

Expérience positive: I was a visiting member from another location and found this place to be comfortably similar, albeit in the middle of renovations. I would have given 5 stars had the location been completed. I didn't see water bottle filling stations. Changerooms/bathrooms/shower areas seemed incomplete but assuming will be completed with renovations. Staff was very polite and gym was spotless.

Expérience fantastique: My brother and I came here today from Ontario and were thoroughly impressed. The guy at the front desk with the moustache could give our Ontario stores a lesson. Great customer service. The gym is all new. My brother thought the equipment was even better than GoodLife.

Expérience fantastique: The cleanest gym I have ever been in. Literally no gym smell. Equipment is always in good shape and never have trouble getting equipment. I go in the morning and the staff is constantly cleaning and is alway friendly.

Expérience négative: Would you guys fix the machines?? The pec deck has been broken for over a month. There are barely any machines in the building at least keep them functional.

Expérience négative: I transferred my membership from Saint John, NB to this location. Pretty disappointed to find out that there is no water fountain in gym alike had it at previous location. I think drinking water is essential for a place like this. I noticed some people been drink water from tap in washroom which is unhygienic Also, the vending machine is broken. Hope owner is reading this and will do something about it.

Expérience négative: Terrible gym. Can never get a booking during covid situation. They also make it difficult to cancel membership. Unable to do so online, you have to go into the gym to cancel from a kiosk. They setup barriers to prevent you from canceling easily. I don't recommend.

Expérience négative: I've been member at saint john branch for last 2 years and I like this one because it's close to my place but since covid hit we have to book our workout session and I like to workout for 2 sessions. That was no issue until a week ago but now they want me to get 2 memberships for 2 sessions in a day!! and manager-associates here make their own rules. They will let me in for second session in same day if they are in good mood, or they might not, or they will just make me wait for 30 mins outside the door.!!

Expérience positive: The place are clean and great location. Lot of parking lot. However, it's the most smallest Fir4less I have been visiting. Can't always get want you want use. Do not have independent enter. Must use the Superstores enter. The reception service usually is great. But the backstage service is Horrible. I have few problems with my membership and account. Likely will take few weeks or more time to resolve it. But you don't have any choice it's the only one Fit4less in SJ. Just for $ 22 monthly . Overall. Can't expect too much.

Expérience négative: I have asked to have membership canceled due to high risk person in household and they continue to bill me and cause NSF. The company will not just cancel, insist on having me come in, at risk to my SO.

Expérience positive: Pros: - Cheap; - Clean; - Plenty of cardio machines; - Friendly staff and members from my experience. Cons: - Not 24/7; - Small gym, might not have what you want or someone is using it (worse with groups); - Might be distant depending where you live; - No guest wifi setup, you'll end up using data to watch how to's or listening to your own music; - No trainers unless you know/bring someone to assist you. It is good enough to stay in shape, I would personally look at something else if you have set goals. It would be nice to see some expansion, maybe a couple more locations.

My only disappointment is that work is slow in St-John so I called from home (Tracadie which is 4 hrs drive for me) and was told that I have to go to the gym if I want to cancel my membership. Wow! Not what I was thinking when I read the contract when I signed up in April. All it said was cancel anytime!!! No mention of having to be there in person! I guess I’m driving 4 hrs to cancel a 25$/month membership.

Expérience positive: Best bang for your buck. Half the price of any other gym. There is no power rack for squats and the dumbbells only go up to 75 lbs. This gym has mostly the same equipment as Goodlife Fitness and it is well maintained. The staff are approachable and always greet you. Been going here for over 3 years.

Expérience fantastique: I have tried multiple different gyms and this one is by far my favourite. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Everything is very well maintained and the price is unbeatable. This gym is not overwhelmingly big but still has everything you need to succeed.

Expérience positive: Used to a bigger location and it was missing some machines but great price for what it is.

Expérience positive: Mostly good gym but I pay once yearly based on issues I have heard regarding cancellations. I have also experienced issues with the yearly membership but hey at least it's a credit card transaction and not my bank account. Apart from this issue it would be a 4 star review.

Expérience négative: As a powerlifter, I went there and tried to do squats...good luck with 5 smith machines and 0 squat racks. I then switched to deadlifts since squats were a no go only to finish my warmup with the "lunk alarm" going off(yes they have an alarm that if you hit the weights even the slightest on the floor, it goes off). I started my first working set and then the staff told me I needed to "deposit" the weight. She asked me to deposit the weight and make NO SOUND doing deadlifts. It's an exercise facility, not a real gym.Don't try to go there if you are there to train. WORST GYM EVER, IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS ATHLETE DO NOT GO AS YOU CANNOT DO ANY BARBELL FREE WEIGHTS MOVEMENTS. NO DEADLIFTS, NO SQUATS, NO RESULTS....GOOD JOB GOODLIFE. OH AND DUMBELLS GO UP TO 75LBS...

Expérience négative: These guys have been charging my bank account $10/bi weekly ($20/month) for months now.. even though I signed up for a $10/month membership.. There is no easy way to cancel the membership either.. I don't live by one of these gyms anymore and WANT SO BADLY to cancel it.. there should be an online option for it!! Goodlife is a horrible gym.. and their discount gym is even worse.
