Expérience fantastique: I had my baby shower at the Brooklin community centre, it’s really a beautiful facility with a lovely space to host a small or large gathering/event. They let us in early to set up which was very kind of them

Expérience négative: I was very disappointed and angry when I attended the library activity with my children! During the play, the administrator rudely asked Asian children (over two years old) many times whether they were qualified to enter the room. However, other children under one year old were not asked. While playing in the sand, the child accidentally spilled a small amount of sand and was immediately scolded severely. This situation did not occur to children of other ethnic groups and had a negative psychological impact on the child. I hope that the library can treat everyone equally and that all children can should be treated fairly.

Expérience négative: I am disappointed in the front desk, service at this place. I was going to call, but what's the point, these people are pathetic. They've shown so in person and on the phone. Two of the ladies that I spoke to all seemed clueless and shown lack of social skills. Anyways... They lied to me. Provided horrible customer service after I paid to rent space. Though outrageously expensive. There is not much "community" if the people working at the front desk can't show community by following through. The front desk towards me felt pathetic because if you are paying for space they should at least pretend to respect you. Nope. No community here if they took my money and then lie to you after talking to them in person and making 3 phone calls to them weeks prior to event. Hope they don't reply to this review. If they were all about community, then they would have shown it from the beginning. They didn't. Replying isn't going to fix what happened.

Expérience fantastique: This is a great community centre for a small town. The gym is a decent size and can be rented out for activities and private functions. The library is a good size as well.

A prescreening COVID-19 questionnaire is electronically sent to you prior to your classes although a manual form can be completed and signed if you are unable to electronically access it. There are socially distanced spots that are allocated to you and you are permitted to remove your mask during the workout.

Expérience fantastique: Visited for the 1st time recently when my son moved there. Nicest Community Centre I've seen. Clean, bright, spacious in a nice woodsy setting. Nothing like that here in Toronto. In fact, City Planners there do a bang up job on everything. Brooklyn is a great spot.

Expérience fantastique: Had a great time here for a toddlers birthday party. My daughter really enjoyed that thwy are able to have access to the gym and toys before food and cake upstairs in the party room. Very clean and spacious. Not sure what all classes or activities it offers but from what I saw walking around the place it has quite a bit. I would definitely recommend looking in to. I did happen to see a yoga and I believe a meditation class going on while I was at this location as well. I'm sure it has something for everyone and all age groups.
