Expérience positive: Great experience so far. Staff are helpful and friendly. Machines are in good working condition and seem to get fixed quickly if they are in need of repair. That said, I wish the gym opened earlier, as an 8 am opening is a little late for folks who like to work out first thing in the morning.

Expérience négative: I went to the location within Superstore on Innes Road. I was disappointed with the equipment selection at this location, inconsistent with what is offered at other Fit4Less locations in Ottawa. I assume this was previously a women's Goodlife that was rebranded.

Expérience négative: No shower for men, closes at 6pm.

Expérience négative: I canceled my membership with the gym on the anniversary of my renewal but 10 later they charged the annual cleaning fees. Sent them email about it but still no answer after more than a week of waiting. I don't recommend this place for the lack of professionalism and also it is a small area.

Expérience négative: The gym closes at 6pm on the weekend. Terrible hours…plus if you scan in after hours and they inform you that they are closed, you can’t go to the other location in Orleans right away…you have to wait 30 mins otherwise you pass is not active.

Expérience fantastique: This is by far the best Fit4Less I have been to. The vibe here is better than other gyms, the equipment is exactly what I need, and the amenities are nice too. But what makes it stand out is the staff. I want to give special thanks to the young woman working there named Lina. She's especially attentive to me and other customers whenever I've had questions or needed help. Always with a smile and friendly attitude. And I'm always seeing her working non stop, I see her regularly keeping the entire gym clean and organized. This is the kind of staff, cleanliness, and customer service that keeps me coming back here. Would recommend it to everyone else!

Expérience négative: Black card amenities is not worth the cost because you can only use amenities 30 minutes before the staff are gone and one cannot use them when the staff are not there... this limits the use of those amenities so it is false to advertise Unlimited Usage. Also the amenities are not automatic, one has to always go to see staff member to use amenities like massage beds and chairs. Disappoiting and false advertising from the club

Expérience fantastique: Honestly one of the best Fit4less in the region, Fit4less is already a good chain but this location surpasses everything and not only the cleanliness and welcoming feeling when you walk in. The management here is above the roof with the organization and staff training.The manager is also very involved when needed and i really appreciate that she genuinely cares about her members. All the employees here know what they are doing. It’s my favourite location to work out at and i’d love to thank the entire staff for just being amazing.

Expérience négative: Dirty, considering it's a smaller gym and not as busy as others it should be cleaner then what it is. I have mentioned to the desk over a year ago that they should clean the old gum sitting in the eleptical's cup/phone holders... I've mentioned it again maybe 2 months ago and The same gums are still there. They dust quick thing the top of the equipments to make it look clean but the rest is so thick with dust. They should also upgrade some of the equipments.

Expérience positive: The young woman working there was very helpful answering my questions about the facility. Unfortunately, as it is a converted Good Life (Women Only) above a Real Canadian Superstore, there are no showers or a sauna for men. Showers are available to women, but the sauna was turned into a storage room unfortunately. I liked the machines they have and it’s a descent gym for what they charge. I’ll probably stick to my regular gym as it’s closer, but this is a good option for the occasional change of scenery.

Expérience négative: This place is horrible, but cheap. Needs signs... "If you aren't going to do another set in the next 60 seconds, get off the apparatus....It's not a lazy boy, tweet answering machine !"

Expérience fantastique: Great gym for a great price!

Expérience positive: Decent size, good variety of training equipment. The only downside is closure at 10pm, and not open early enough for a 5am workout.

Expérience négative: I called this location to inform them that I need to switch bank accounts and the staff told me to come in person to make the changes. When I visited the gym the staff advised me to put a credit on my account to avoid getting charged fees since my fees was due in a few days which I did. 2 weeks after I get charged $25 for missed payments. I went back to the gym to share this with the staff and they said I should speak to the manager. The managers tone from the get go was very rude , she told me about there being a rule to change accounts 30 days to minimum 7 days to avoid any fees. Yet none of her employees shared that with me and she was not able to show it to me on thier website or in paper. I should have believed the previous reviews warning about this manager Ana who is very disrespectful and condescending ( even in the manner she speaks to her staff ) I will be canceling my membership and will rather go to a gym with better customer service.

Expérience négative: Fit4less in general is great, but this location is neglected. All of the equipment is old and outdated. The stand up tanning is a very old machine with bars, making me worry it doesn't get cleaned properly since its not as easy to wipe down as the newer ones. There is no garbage, table, chair or even a working light in the tanning room making it very inconvenient. Please do some maintenance on this location!

Expérience positive: Nice and cheap gym, has most of the equipment you would want/need. Masks are not being strictly enforced as they indicate with signs everywhere. Most people do it on their own, but the staff don't seem to be.

Expérience fantastique: It's got everything you need for an affordable monthly price.

Expérience négative: I usually go workout at this location after work between 5:30 and 7p.m. and I have to say that the quality of the machines they have at this location compared to other fit4less locations (nautilus vs startac) is very good. They make sure there's sufficient cleaning solution and hand sanitizer available for customers to use. However, they seem to not care at all about making sure customers respect their rules. There are signs everywhere saying zero tolerance for not wearing your mask but sometimes half of the customers are walking everywhere without their mask on and even in front of the staff at the desk and nobody's telling them to put it on. That's a bit concerning considering we're still in a pandemic and makes you wonder if they really check people's vaccination status properly.

Expérience négative: It’s been a couple times now where there have been overbooking and that even though I booked a session I get turned away at the door without prior notice and I have to wait until next week to be able to book whatever I can get. With covid limiting the amount of time I can get in the gym, I wish I would have been warned before hand in order to look at other options. I was asked to leave and was pretty much told better luck next time.

Expérience négative: The regular morning staff member at the Ottawa South location has no people Skills and is very rude and condescending. Obviously this staff member isn’t a morning person and if he gets up on the wrong side of the bed, he will unleash on anyone and everyone a the drop of a pin. He threatens it’s Member of writing them up for no valid reason when it is he that is using threatening languages toward it’s patron. The gym’ equipment and change room aren’t sanitized as it should be in this serious pandemic. The attitude of this staff member toward it’s patron is detrimental toward the image of this gym.

Expérience fantastique: I love how my spouse and I can get a great work out but don't have to pay high fees to work out together. Great equipment and great staff who greet us with a smile.

Expérience négative: I've been a member of this gym for over 3 years now and to my surprise a couple of days ago, I walked into the gym with my earbuds to listen to the different TV"s available, but the volume/channel boxes available on all the cardio equipment were gone. I asked a staff member why those controllers were gone and I was told that it was a "Corporate" decision and that corporate main office said that if members are unhappy with that decision, they could upgrade to a Goodlife location. What is this? Blackmail. Fit4Less Canada told me "We try and make sure that all of our Fit4Less locations offer similar options for all members. At Fit4Less, most of our machines do not allow members to listen to the TV Channel." This gym doesn't offer showers for men or health drinks like other Fit4Less location offers. Does that mean that other Fit4Less locations will be removing all the men's shower and health juice bars??? Why would that decision made 3 + years later?

Expérience positive: Great place but one big complaint! Where is the filtered drinking water? They expect us to drink out of the tap or bring our own water? Yeah sure I'll just go out of my way to drive home so I can drink clean water....

Expérience fantastique: This is a fantastic place to work out at a low price. Compared to other gyms, this place has the best value hands-down!! There are enough machines, weights, and training gear to have a great full-body work out. Some places charge excessive prices mostly for show and the inside is overpacked and sweaty. Fit-4-less is an absolutely no-frills place to work out and gives you the best bang your buck. It's also a plus that the people who work there are super friendly, respectful, and nice. I would highly recommend this place for everyone!!

Expérience négative: People clean your machine manager keep saying there are signs telling people to clean but to be honest with you signs are not obvious because of color yellow and white doesn't stand out. Put emphasis with new memberships and old clients do something very annoying to see someone sweat and not cleaning!!!!!!!!!

Expérience positive: Been going to Fit4Less for a few years. Staff is very pleasant. Facilities are clean however previous reviews are correct, a few some members don't wipe down their machines. Not the gyms/staff's faults. I just wipe before and after using the machines and I'm goood. As for the machines, this was an old Goodlife gym with better machines than the other Fit4Less facilities. They are more confortable for sure. The gym could use a few more cable attachments like 1 or 2 more ropes for tricep pulldowns. I would say the same about the manager however she never responded to my prev concerns. I don't think I've ever met her in person, it's someone with a european sounding name, that's all i know. My concern wasn't tough, I pay for my membership by the year, I've paid my sign up fee the first time, if I set up auto debits then I will no longer have to pay the $44 sign up fee however if I pay the year and pay every year after, they make me pay the $44. I don't want to give them permission to debit my bank accounts however if I've paid ahead for the year, you know I've commited for my year and it's safer than a client paying as they go. Besides the "manager" and that pesky $44 fee, I love this gym! I've encouraged my friends to sign up as it's affordable and with the black card, I can work out at any other fit4less I want!

Expérience positive: Smaller club but still has lots of machines and free weights. Great staff as well, they are always friendly. Also the gym being inside the Superstore gives you the opportunity to get a few things on your way out. Plenty of parking around the building and opening hours are good.

Expérience négative: Has what you need for a gym and the equipment is great, however, the 1 star is for the customer service or lack thereof. The employees at the front with the exception of the young blonde boy has ever acknowledged me when I have come in the gym or when I am leaving. Most of the time, they have their heads down in their phones texting, reading and talking to each other as staff, completely ignoring customers who come in. Most of the time too, the workers will have both headphones in totally oblivious that they are in a public environment and part of their job is to greet people, not just sit there looking miserable and bored. The manager, Anna is a totally different story as well. She is very unprofessional, un approachable and lacks any skills to effectively deal with customer's questions and concerns. The only reason why I continue to go to this gym is to use the equipment and it is close to my home.

PLEASE RETURN MY MONEY. I'm broke now. I cant get groceries for my kids. Because you people wont deactivate my account. I phoned to cancel. That didn't work. I emailed. That didn't work. Nothing works. I live in B.C. now. I cant go in and tell you to your face. I need you to return the funds you've essentially stolen. This is insane.

Fine, I asked for a copy of my cancellation and oh we can't do that, it's all online now. We'll, seeing as the info is in front of you take a screen shot and give me that. No we don't do that. Let me speak to a manager, sorry Sir but if you email us your email address we can send it to you. Why don't I give you my email adress and you can email it to me right now? We don't do that....so I'm still waiting on that email . Crooks, absolutely unbelievable.

Expérience négative: (FOR THOSE WHO TAN, READ BELOW)For the price it is what it is...or so thats what I thought at first until I went to other locations. The one on Innes is crap compared to the newer one near Place D' Orleans. The equipment is the old Goodlife equipment that they didnt want...there is a newish section, but Its small and has barely any equipment- the "newish equipment" still does not compare to the new gyms equipment tho. The biggest fault, other than the amount of equipment/condition is the tanning beds. I've been using the beds here for 5 weeks now, and I've seen no difference. I spoke to a staff and she suggested the more expensive lotion they sell ($45) even tho I was using one of theirs already ($35). Anyway just after two sessions in the new gyms beds I see a difference. One of the staff at Innes said, after I inquired, that they haven't changed the bulbs in over a year and half....most salons will change it at least once per year...any reputable place will change them every 8 months to 1 year....

Expérience positive: I went to one location and was told how it worked. A new one opened up so went to that one, but I called first to ask if I signed up, could I work out the same day. Yes. I went. They asked for a blank cheque. They never asked for one and who carries checque books !!! Also, they told me different things about how it work. They said: I guess they have different rules. Really Went back today to sign up and was looking for a trap bar. I asked. Was told it would be in the weight room. I said I didn't see it, can someone show me. Someone will be right with you. Never happened, so I asked people working out. They don't even have one. The desk staff needs some training.

Expérience négative: Wow, uhm, where to begin. I've been to the Blair F4L & Place D'Orleans one. Out of the 2 I've been to, this one is REALLY true to the name ''Fit4Less''. It's a very small gym, the machines are very run down. The entrance is old school and I'm unsure if It's 24hrs like the other two the way it is laid out. I really didn't enjoy my time working out there, a lot of the machines I use were not available. If you're not picky with machines and such then I don't see why this gym would be bad for you. For the sake of maybe 5 minutes driving you may as-well go to the new one up near Place.

Expérience positive: Inexpensive gym with a good sized cardio and weight machine area. Free weight section is separated but a little crowded. No showers at this location.

Expérience positive: Amazing for the price! Equipment is fairly new and easy to use! I love the environment. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5-star rating is because they do not have a squat rack.

Expérience positive: So far not impressed and I haven't even started working out there yet. When I went to register and had some questions I was brushed off and told to go to a kiosk. I have email them twice still trying to get an answer. Also was going to work out the day I signed up... the girl told me I could leave my stuff at the front so this whole time I've been under the impression that there were no lockers...I'm not mad about that just confused. The stars may go up or down depending on the next few days.
