Expérience fantastique: Hands down some of the best running equipment at this location out of other locations. Dave does an amazing job maintaining all this equipment single handily. Training and cleaning staff are wonderful, also. Our family enjoys visiting this location. Fantastic job Dave and thank you for your service tech abilities to help us all who attend keep the body moving. Many could take a lesson and work out has hard as you work diligently on this equipment to make our experience enjoyable.what a joy to be in Dave’s shadow while working out while he’s fixing and maintaining dozens and dozens of pieces of equipment.

Expérience positive: Not really a review but I can't get through to anyone to ask a question. I typically go early in the morning or late at night and I forgot my water bottle in the car after I scanned in so I left to get it then could not get back in. I get it so that people can let others in, however can it be changed to 10 mins instead of 30?

Expérience négative: Worked out in Toronto and then come here: As, a black card holder my feedback is: No Showers! Very small closet area for black card holders to use! Pulling teeth to use massage bed and chairs since staff have to turn on timer for you! It's unlimited for black card holders but staff say only 30 mins at a time. It's frustrating to have to get up and ask staff to put on timer again to get a decent massage & dealing with asking staff as they roll their eyes at you to turn on the timer again for your "relaxing unlimited massage" Unlimited perks for black card holders?? Music is awful and not everyone's cup of tea & it sounds like screaming ****. Suggestion box is needed. We are paying for a paid-for service to work out. But it could be better. If you want more people to join a gym already overcrowded at peak times. Consider upgrading quality of service. For example, self start & stop operation of massage beds & chairs for black card holders. Since your advertising is so overboard for black card holders who are supposed to have the perks & your advertisement(s) are not exactly as it advertises. What is good about the club: * 24/7 is great for one's schedule * Variety of equipment to use * There are several toilets to use * Alot of small half size lockers * Tanning area to use ( not used yet) * Large stretching area to use * Drinks available to buy from Machine *. WiFi is available. [ If you need to sit for the duration of your workout using Wifi to reach out to all your friends during your workout communicating with others telling them how healthy you are working out while other members wait for you to finish texting at that work out location.] The location is a mixed bag. I can enjoy my workouts between 10 pm to 3 am at this time. But not able to use the added perks for the black card holder -Thus, it's questionable if I renew the black card holder for next year since I paid in full this year. Thank you.

Expérience fantastique: I just started at this gym but I definitely love it! The layout is awesome and there is plenty of room to move around. Lots of sanitation stations as well. Only downside is there isn't any water fountains

Expérience négative: I don’t think this gym ever gets swept or properly cleaned, have to wipe the floors/mats down before you sit or work out on them cause they’re gross and have hair everywhere. There is rarely any staff there. The bathrooms smell like pee and they sometimes have toilet paper. Cancelled my membership just to read the fine writing that they’re still pulling a months worth of payments. Will never come back here again.

Expérience positive: I go at 4-5am and there isn't enough cable machines and weight area gets pretty cramped. Should remove some of the cardio area for more weights and cable machines.

Expérience positive: Rating only 4 because if you go after 5pm no matter what workout day it is the machines are always taken unless you're doing cardio.

Expérience négative: Supposed to be staffed 11 - 4 Sundays .. this is the second week in a row iv went into tan and no staff. Also if you go outside to grab something from your vehicle it denies you access again?? Doesn't make sense, what if you want to go outside to have a vape ?

Expérience positive: I appreciate the Orillia club for sure, never too busy, can almost always access machines n weights, only busy when it’s typical high volume times for gyms like Monday nights. Actually pretty clean as far as gyms go. I am giving it four stars because I am a little frustrated I can’t contact my home club to ask questions about my billing unless I call them - when staff is present. I’ve called a few times when staff is away from the desk I guess, as nobody answered. Bummer their staffed hours dictate if I can take advantage of my black card benefits. I can only use the amenities when someone is there, I work long days during the week and work weekends, they’re staffed hours are a bit short for me but that’s a me problem I guess. Other than that it’s a pretty good club. They have a good variety of equipment, 2 of most machines, decent amount of space, lots of cardio and staff are generally pleasant. :)

Then was trying to get me to pay over 100 dollars on fees.. when I was already charged for this membership. The staff member I talked to was rude and was talking with attitude the whole time when I was trying to figure it out.

Expérience fantastique: I’m from the city and when I tell you that this is the cleanest fit for less I’ve ever been too! Omg the people in orillia also put their equipment away, even the plates on the same rack! LOL I’m in gym heaven! The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that they don’t have a water fountain… I mean you get what you pay for but water is a necessity. I’m in the healthcare field, if someone is choking, having a heat stroke, having no water is actually very dangerous, especially in a gym where people are pushing their bodies.

Expérience négative: There is no water fountain or bottle filling station in the gym, however the only way to get water is a vending machine that sells water for $5. The equipment is regularly sticky and unpleasant to use. Easily the worst gym in town based off the lack of water fountain alone

Expérience positive: I like fit4less. I go to 3 different locations. They are nothing special but the value is amazing. This Orillia location is fine. Employees are invisible compared to some locations but not as bad as Barrie. I started at the location on Warden in Scarborough and was spoiled. The staff talk to you, walk the gym and are cleaning constantly. Its not like this in Orillia. Most of the people working out are friendly.

Expérience fantastique: I came to work out at this location from Toronto. I had an amazing experience as the gym was super clean, everyone was super friendly and the tanning beds were amazing!! I will definitely be back to this location when I am up here visiting family. Wish the people in the city were as clean with their gyms as it is up here !

Expérience positive: It's got what you need. No extras, if you want a sled or a stair master or Jacobs ladder, go to a goodlife. It is perfect for what you're paying, no matter what plan you choose.

Expérience positive: Just joined Fit4Less. Have been a member of Planet Fitness in the past but none of those in the area we recently moved to. Pricing is similar to Planet Fitness, good value for money, and the place is very clean, with lots of machines and weights. The only thing I miss is a full locker room and there are no showers, but that's a only a small inconvenience when it's close to home. I would definitely recommend Fit4Less

Expérience négative: Just wondering if it’s going to open today? 20 people waiting outside and no staff in sight. Second time on a Sunday in the past few weeks. That Sunday shift got somebody messed up!

Expérience positive: Not nearly as convenient as pre-pandemic when it was open 24 hours. But the staff does an great job here with the level of service they provide and it is easy enough to book a workout in one of the available timeslots online. Just make sure you check the hours when planning to go because the weekends are reduced hours compared to the weekdays. Other than that, good selection of equipment even with machines blocked off for social distancing. Tanning booths, massage chairs and hydromassage is also available at this location.

Expérience positive: I have always found this gym well run, polite, helpful, clean, professional. If someone wants Silver Plated service,and ego pollished pampering, go to a four star Toronto hotel.

Expérience positive: Love the staff and the gym. Very clean and comfortable place to workout. The booking system during covid is garbage.

Expérience négative: If I could give zero stars, I would. Apparently Fit4Less doesn't care that there is a pandemic happening and that it's affecting people's lives. I tried to cancel my membership due and they are refusing to allow it. The person i talked to said I have to "own up" to the the contract that i signed when I first joined the gym. Nice words coming from them since they're not holding up their end of the contract but are expecting me to. When I asked for a phone number of someone else I could talk to, they said I could walk out the door and look it up myself. I had planned to re-join once everything had gone back to normal but that's definitely not happening. I've lost all respect for this company and will make sure to tell as many people as possible about my horrible experience with them.

Expérience négative: We have been attempting to cancel our membership. It has now been 40 days since we sent in the online request to cancel as was instructed by the person at the Orillia gym location. We have attempted to contact the head office by phone but cannot get through. At this point, we need to consider such options as contacting CTV Barrie to see if our ordeal is worthy of a story. Also, legal advise is an option. The real salt to the wound is that we are still being charged for our memberships. Dare I say, it almost feels as if they are a criminal organization.

Expérience positive: Everything is great, works perfect but only one of the staffs is very very rude, the one with boy cut. Asked for her help, never helped and said I cannot do anything. Asked someone else next day, super helpful and everyone is great.

Expérience fantastique: The people are friendly and very clean

Expérience positive: I just joined this gym 2 weeks ago and I love it! I had never stepped foot in a proper gym since my high school phys-ed class. Everyone is super nice (both staff and other members). I don't feel judged at all even when I'm looking at the pictures on the machines showing how to use them. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is lack of hydration station and it kinda sucks theres no showers so it's harder to workout before I go to work.

I’ve been to other fit for less gyms and they have a water station to refill water. Not very hygienic to be using the water from the same faucet people use to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Other than that it’s a great gym !

Expérience positive: Just started up this month, the machines are great quality, lots of space too. I would like to make mention a couple suggested improvements that perhaps could be added! I noticed there are no hydration stations, and filling up a bottle in a restroom isn't all that appealing to me personally. As for machines, I noticed there are no stair masters, these are a personal favourite for a great warm-up. As for showers, well I rather shower at home. However I do understand time is valuable and this would perhaps be convenient for many people! Thanks!

Expérience fantastique: Nicest Fit4Less I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot...Staff VERY friendly no need for training in customer service...and Kim Nelson seriously??? It’s a 24 hour gym that only staffed during the busy times of the day...common sense would tell you to stop whining and just move over a few treadmills OR....OR explain to them your situation I have no doubt they will accommodate you...seriously grow up

Expérience fantastique: Just a great spot, clean and the equipment is in good shape. The members respect the fact you are working on a goal and they respect the boundaries but are willing to have a quick chat if you are inclined. I am far from the shape a good portion of the members are but I've never been made to feel " in the way" like other gyms I've joined. I've lost 65 lbs and there is no question this place had a lot to do with it. Come have a look!

Expérience négative: Good gym but staff started cleaning the treadmill right beside me with a bucket of cleaner ..in a world with asthma and scent allergies maybe you should be using scent-free products. I had to leave my workout because I couldn't breathe. Not impressed, common sense says clean machines when no one else is around

Love my free tanning :) but no showers though :( but it’s not that big of a deal, I usually head home right after, but it would be nice to have showers so I could head over right before work instead of spending time going home and then work.

Expérience fantastique: Always great staff and super clean

Expérience positive: This location is clean, and well equipped with free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. It also gives access to tanning, and hydro massage which is nice. The building is also quite large. I especially like the 30 minute circuit area, where you can complete all of the basic machines and cardio efficiently in one place. This location is open 24 hours. Prices are either 10.00 or 20.00 per month which is great. Keep in mind that for this price you don't get access to showers or trainers, but if you don't need that, you shouldn't have to pay for it.

Would be nice to have showers rather than other amenities like some other Fit4Less facilities as the gym is a place where you go and sweat. If this is a deal breaker for you, the Barrie location offers showers. Overall, good price and good experience otherwise.

Expérience négative: I went to the gym this morning and my pass card failed, staff let me in. I gave my card to a very unfriendly staff and asked her why it didn't work. My card had expired last month, so I asked her if the prices were the same as a year ago (I have used the gym 14 times my fault) but I wanted to turn things around starting today. I went out to get my credit card to sign on for another year, I approached her at the front desk and asked her to sign me up for another year. Oh you HAVE TO sign up on the computer, she took me to it and quickly went through the process. I tried to get through it and wasn't getting the job done, I asked her to help and the same thing (Im very out of touch with computers).After 20minutes of trying to sign up I approach her again(she must have been busy in the back office) I asked her can someone PLEASE help me sign up. She toyed with me by the looks she gave me her attitude (Im dumb on computers but I can read people very well)I said a staff member signed me up last year and he had o problems, well you have sign on there. I said cant anyone help me "You have to ask if you want help" So I asked when the manager is in. She gave me the phone number without a name so I asked for that. I left there and checked out a gym abit more expensive but closer to home, just because of the LOWSY lazy staff I refuse to join here again. Some times we all hate our jobs but be professional and do it with some care.The term service industry has really gone downhill where the staff thinks they own

Expérience positive: Slippery benches, dumbells only up to 75lbs and mediocre barbells. Saving grace being price and that they have 2 great power racks. But the barbells still have no center knurling so it feels slippery if you load more than 315 on the bar. However they still get the job done. Edit: staff seems to be walking the gym more than when I originally posted and seem like nice people.

Expérience négative: Was ignored by the girl at the desk for quite sometime. I waited to get in for a new access card because mine came off my keychain. Once I got in (when another gym member allowed me in) she gave me attitude at the desk and said she didn't see me. Which is hard to believe because she helped someone at the desk while I waited outside the glass door literally right behind the girl she was helping. I told her the intercom must not have been working because I had been buzzing it for sometime and she snarkly told me I was using the wrong intercom. I get that she is probably a minimum wage employee with little to no mentorship offered her from a leader or peer (based on the fact I have never seen more than 1 employee at any given time) but still... Pretty unimpressive experience.

Expérience positive: Huge gym, lots of machines. Very young crowd in the evening so mornings are best if you want to avoid the larger crowds. No water fountains so make sure you bring your own! But if you want a bare bones, clean gym that's only 10 bucks a month this is perfect!

He also closes the washroom than walks around and talks to people. As you might notice the own don’t even respond to these reviews so they don’t care much.

Expérience positive: Sometimes it's clean. Others, not so much. Can we turn the cable on? Why have all these tv's on that have lost satellite feed? Garbages are often overflowing. Staff seems to hide in the office while gym is a mess. I've been a member for 1.5 years and the hygiene seems to be in serious decline. Edit: they have recently improved their cleanliness. Very tidy now

Expérience négative: Absolutely disgusting facility. Disgusting as far as cleanliness is concerned but also staff and members. I live in Orillia and choose to use Barrie location after being in this one 3 times over the course of 2 months and the same machine is still broken. I never see staff when I'm there, there are more weights on the ground than on the racks and everything is dirty. Not planned out very well with minimal space. The members are terrible, just a bunch of young kids (I'm only 30 and I can't stand it) standing around, leaning/sitting on equipment they aren't using. If you want to socialize then go to the mall. Yes, it's a "value" or "discount" gym but that shouldn't mean working out in a landfill especially since the Barrie location isn't like this at all in any aspect. Pull up your socks and put in some effort otherwise you won't be in business very long.

Expérience négative: Not very clean; cramped, and untidy. The garbage is overflowing and it seems they don't care of anyone wipes down the equipment since paper towel dispensers are mostly empty. They are cheap on the a/c as well. I used the one in Barrie originally and that place was excellent. This one pales in comparison.
