Expérience négative: I’ve gone to this gym for YEARS but it’s gone way downhill. Machines are constantly broken, the workers are never there at 7am like they are scheduled to be and the air conditioning is rarely operating. They had a sprinkle break a couple months ago and water flooded the place. They just put in a couple humidifiers and put plastic on the ceiling… the plastic is still up and place stinks like mildew. I understand the membership is the cheapest in town but there should still be a level of care and cleanliness applied to the gym and that is just not there anymore. I would highly suggest paying a little more and going elsewhere.

Expérience négative: If you want a bare-bones place, this is it. The Staff if they are there, they hide in the back. I see people coming in together with one card all the time. I have a black card that allows certain privileges only when it's staffed. I Dont know why I paying it, On the weekend, when staff supposed be here they are not, so I can't use the privileges I pay for. I guess you get what you pay for
Expérience négative: The gym itself is well maintained and the morning staff are always there. It’s clean and the staff are ALWAYS CLEANING which is nice. What sucks is that most of the time the person on staff between 6-10pm is not there. My daughter who started university has waited quite a few times since September (when she’s in town) for almost a half hour each time for a staff member to show up so she can pay to transfer her membership (which I think is ridiculous) she drives an hour to stand and wait for a staff member who isn’t even there NOT OK! Waste of gas, time and loss of her use of the gym because someone isn’t there to help and then paying for a transfer she can’t get because NO ONE IS THERE. Frustrating!!!!

Expérience négative: Becoming increasingly frustrated with the unreliability of the staffed hours at this location. I understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances that lead to staff not being able to be here, however it seems like it is becoming a normal occurrence that “staffed hours” means nothing here. Similar to another review at this location, many people rely on the scheduled hours in order to schedule their workouts before work and make time for having a shower before heading off to work. The showers are locked when staff aren’t present, how is anyone supposed to count on this place? It would be one thing if staff was a few minutes late but the last few times that I’ve been here, staff don’t show until well after 8am despite weekday staffed hours being said to start at 7am. I’ve been already contemplating switching gyms, this may just be what justifies that switch.

Expérience négative: Signed up for a membership online. They say to go scan the QR code at the kiosk inside the gym. Turn the brightness up on phone, kiosk scans the QR code, but does nothing. There is an option to sign in on the kiosk, but I don't have a password. Click "forget password" it says it will send me a 6 digit code to sign in. I do that twice and both times it doesn't recognize the code. Option 2 in the email they sent you says to press "don't have your membership card" but that isn't on the screen anywhere. Terrible system

Expérience négative: My first day arriving to fit4less orangeville I had booked for a free workout for the first time. Honestly I had been waiting for 20 minutes trying to get a hold of someone and called them so many times and no one showed up. It’s honestly a joke of a place terrible customer service. Fit4less doesn’t have a customer service line either so there was no one to complain to.

Expérience fantastique: I am member of this location from last 6 years. I have never seen that they maintain the place. Now a days they maintain so well and very clean. Not sure the management has been changed or what but first time I feel this place is so well maintained. So hard working employee specially Joseline. She is doing outstanding job and company should must be appreciated her hard work and dedication.

Expérience négative: Gym is whatever, there is no water fountain ??? lol that’s strange No incline leg press or hack squat. This gym literally sucks for doing legs. Gym is also very chilly. 2/6 leg machines broken. Pretty unmotivating location.

When I called the next day the manager explained that it’s acceptable for front staff to engage with other members (keep in mind this was while I was asking questions to sign up and she prioritized talking to her friends while I was asking questions) very strange way to run a business. Would not recommend.

I am a new member, I joined at the highest level package (The black Membership) My card did not work on the second day, I was told by a younger blond lady (I was informed that she was brand new after) that worked there to go to the machine out side and get a replacement cards some times they don't work? I did this but was confused as it asked my to purchase it? I proceeded with card but did not go back to this lady as she was not so help-full. I was now back at gym yesterday and again neither card worked now! I called in again and was assisted by a younger lady with dark hair. She informed me the employee who directed me to buy a new card was brand new, she indicated her manager was in the next day (Today January 24th-2024).The young dark haired employee also that in-fact she is aware of cards not worked for some-particular reason on various accounts. Now I must was also there to hook my daughter up on her own account. ( more business for fit4less) The lady said she might be able to use the second card for her account, however again she can issue no credits for the first one as thats only her manager. I said thats fine, my daughter and I decided to wait to purchase hers as we could sort out my credit for second card to purchase. Today January 24-2024 when i went in to speak to the Manager “Jocelyn” She told me with out hearing my reason “No refunds, No Matter what!” I kid you not, Those were her exact words. I explained what happened , and she refused to issue anything saying she cant, she is not an owner , infact there is NO owner. So i asked who at corporate can i speak to? She smugly refused to help me She indicated all she will do is send an email with my information and contact info to her manager. I asked to be copied on email as to be frank, I don't believe her! She said absolutely not, I asked why? I informed you can blind copy people so i wont see their info. She hides all inform of people there who could help me. This is the worst experience Ive ever had in any service industry ever!! Refusing to help me, All I Requested was a refund for the second card I was intentionally coerced into buying. I was not trying to get any other refund. This now puts this Gym Fit4Less in orangeville as criminals in my mind. This place has taken my money and just been smug, rude, uncaring about anything. I asked Jocelyn where her integrity and ethics are. I girl with dark hair who tried to assist was nice and seemed to care. However They straight up robbed me and told to pound salt… Horrible, I recommend any gym but them. Added after response from Owner as it says! I now just received their same generic response to every poor review they get ! They have all my info to contact me, Ive made this request with their day manager. Ive actually gone in twice in person and made two request to be contacted. This is such a mickey mouse run operation. It is clear this place has zero care for its members. The fact that I can not reliably schedule my mornings before work to include a shower after the gym really makes me think the higher cost of other gyms might be worth it after all.

My bank account was compromised and when the gym locked out my card I asked 3 times in a week for a manager to call me!!! No phone call! But I keep getting emails that my membership is up for cancelation. Let me add I paid my arrears on my account at the desk two weeks ago!!!!! Why is nobody here during staffed hours?

Expérience négative: Very limited equipment. One of each if they have it. But they have 20 spin bikes that take up a lot of room and never used. Worst part is one cable machine. Luckily not my home gym, just use it when passing through
Expérience positive: Over all I am very pleased with this gym and location. Clean, friendly staff, the machines are fixed promptly when needed. The only issue I have is that the showers get locked during unstaffed hours which I was unaware. I was at the gym during staffed hours but it was unstaffed and now I cannot shower nor have the time to go home before work to shower. Super inconvenient.

Expérience négative: It’s an okay gym, and the cheapest option in Orangeville right now, but compared to other locations this place is really lacking. It needs to be cleaned far more frequently and could really use some updated machines like vertical leg press or hip thrusts machine that other spots have. Sometimes the AC in the black card room is broken as well. Please consider fixing these issues up. Otherwise, as harsh as it sounds, is does it’s job but it’s not somewhere you enjoy going or anyones first choice.

Expérience négative: Horrible gym the customer service here is next to none anybody who is working at this location currently should be fired immediately and the gym is very dirty and machines stay broken for months on end NEVER COME HERE
Expérience négative: Majority of staff are young and have no clue what they are doing. Asking teens for proof of ID should not be happening on a weekly basis. Staff also sold me a card and then when I went to use it the next week, they said that I’m not able to use it. Doesn’t make sense does it. It’s normal for places to have an issue or two, but multiple issues weekly is not how a company should be ran. I have witnessed both young teens and adults be given attitude by staff while the teens and adults have kept calm. Maybe it’s just me but a gym should not be ran by clueless young adults who hide in the back all day and then when they come out all they do is give attitude instead of helping.
Expérience négative: This gyms staff workers are very rude to their customers. i’ve had multiple different issues with this gyms staff. staff has even yelled at me even though i tried keeping the issue calm instead of making a bigger issue. in conclusion this gym is terrible especially for teens as the staff is rude to there customers. i’ve even seen staff let people sneak in and not say a word to them about it.

Expérience négative: The hours don’t make sense it says open 24/7 but it’s not and when you call no one answers. There is no good gym in Orangeville unfortunately. The GoodLife here is even worse.
Expérience négative: I have been a member of this location for almost 4 years and have seen it going downhill. The machines are old and breakdown often then take weeks to get repaired. I can’t remember a time in the last 6 months where there hasn’t been at least 2 machines down. I have been to other locations they have machines that look considerably newer the club is cleaner and everything is in working order. I have tried to find a corporate email to message but there are none posted. It’s a shame that the company doesn’t feel the Orangeville location is good enough to get newer equipment that will actually work especially when you consider that the club is well supported. Looks like I’ll just have to rant on social media until someone from head office notices and decides to do something about it.

Expérience fantastique: Very clean, well spaced out gym. The membership cost is perfect for the amenities and equipment they offer. Plenty of free weights available, members are respectful, and lots of benches available. I do hope they invest in a heavy bag, and a water fountain. Other than that its an incredible gym.

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym. It's small in an ideal way. It has everything I need without having so much that I'm intimated. The staff are nice, the facilities are clean and the people are friendly.
Expérience négative: Don’t understand why it says open 24/7 when they close at 10 pm. Very inconvenient- furthermore, I went yesterday on February 20th, the updates hours posted on door said closed at 6 pm, at 4:50 pm they were closed. No signs or anything to explain why they closed earlier- with another gentleman outside trying to get in too. The inconvenience of the hours of this gym are unbelievable. Who do we contact in regards to this. Is back to 24/7 although that was still annoying Nice clean gym, not really any free area to workout, BUT staff are super nice. Although lacking equipment, and lack a water fountain. I see in another review they mentioned water fountains are not apart of fit for less but I’ve seen them at two other fit for less locations- so that doesn’t make sense.

Expérience négative: I work out 4-5 nights a week. I am in town for business so I wanted to get in a work out. Lengthy process using their bank machine to get a guest pass. 17 bucks for one night. That's crazy. The gym is clean. Lots of cool machines, very minimal free weight. A silly labelled hangout area and a silly beacon alarm on the wall called an oops alarm to go off if someone is being too loud with weights. Not a lot of room. Maybe an actual membership is better. I didn't care much for it. Very Gen Z. Then again I'm getting old, so maybe I'm just looking for problems. But this is my review take it or leave it. If you are looking to push plates, not the place for you. If you are looking to do an efficient after work or lunch workout, this may be the place.

Expérience négative: Staff: friendly enough, although I've noticed the the tall, skinny guy be very "selective" on those he reprimands for "excess noise". His buddies can walk around maskless and slam weights so loud, that you can hear them over your headphones from across the gym. But Godforbid you fail on a leg extension and the weight lands hard - my guy will become Superman and be there in a flash to remind you to not "slam the weights". I've only seen PoC be approached and cautioned....hmmm. The facility: extremely small and doesn't have any true squat racks. Instead, it has one Smith and one Jones Machine. Only one cable machine. Very little room to do any freeweights. Tons of cardio machines though. UPDATE: The maintenance of equipment is extemely poor. For example, the LONE leg press has been out of commission for 3 weeks now. Previously, it took over 3 weeks to get their only cable machine repaired.
Expérience positive: Friendly staff, clean gym. My only complaint are the hours of operation. PLEASE go back to 24/7, or at least open at 5am. For commuters, opening at 6am does not work when you need to be in the city for 9am. Also opening at 8am on the weekends is unrealistic for working professionals. Please extend your hours.

Expérience négative: How are you going to ask for proof of vaccination when it's illegal based on the privacy act to ask somebody if they've received a medical procedure? Asking for a friend. A reply from the CEO or anybody that answers these reviews from fit4less would be appreciated. If you do not reply, it shows what kind of person you are and you discriminate against biological status and more. Human rights complaint is just around the corner.
Expérience négative: Too many cardio equipment that is not getting used and not enough free weights . The Fit4Less in Brampton are much better than Orangeville. This gym is not very good, if you could afford it, join GoodLife or Anytime Fitness. Great customer service!
Expérience positive: Mediocre gym, you get what you pay for. The machines they have blocked off due to social distancing doesn't really make sense. I wasn't really planned out very well. But it's an okay gym for the price

Expérience fantastique: Have been going to this gym for about a year now. The people who work there are very friendly and do a great job at keeping everything sanitized. For the price - you really cant go wrong. Wouldn't recommend if you need assistance working out but if you know what your doing/ have a routine this gym is for you.

My only complaint is you can't work out early in the morning before work if you need to have a shower because the showers are closed if the staff are not there

Expérience négative: Edit: Before I started this gym, the only thing that held me back from joining was whether or not I could use the showers in the morning before work. I was assured that even though the two shower rooms were locked off staff hrs, the handycap washroom was open and always working. Fast forward two years and fit4less spent a few thousand dollars in installing electronically controlled valves to shut off the water each night. This might be a new policy but I forces me to look for a new gym. I can't double back after I finish there. Fit4less is less in many ways. Price, quality of machines and quality of service. I can only hope they change their stance on this issue.

Expérience négative: Disappointed with this location been trying to get back into the GYM but been denied numerous of times, due to a misunderstanding that took place at Fit4less which they had an open house a year ago and they had tshirts by the entrance/exit, and no notice or sign was added not to take a tshirt and a member took one when he left and I figured it was for members so I took one. Then to get a phone call next day in the morning from Brian to be notified I was a thief and my membership was terminated. Return to the gym that morning, returned the tshirt, and apologized for the misunderstanding and in addition, to be told never to return. I provided an apology letter to Brian and have attempted to return back to the GYM with no luck. Once again have returned this month to gain membership once again (as many of my friends currently workout) and was confronted by Brain to leave, that i was a thief. Seriously - a thief?? I was a loyal member and have recommended many members to this location and very disappointed with the outcome and the failed attempts to return from Brian. I have asked for the owner contact info and was denied to be provided that information, would really appreciate if the owner could reach out.

Expérience positive: Awesome machine selection but needs some more free weights. They are always crowded. However the place is super clean and all staff are amazing! I will be coming here for all my work out and tanning needs. The only other thing I would recomend to make it better is a water fountain.
Thanks for the review, Aidan. Given the nature of our Club, our clubs don't have water fountains; however, we have an alternative solution coming in the new year! In addition, the club tends to get busy and we ask during these times that members stay courteous and share the free weight section.
Expérience positive: Broken equipment with service tags that haven't been repaired for months. Other than that pretty good.

Expérience positive: Cheap and usually not too packed. Friendly service and enough machines and weights for almost every exercise you could think of.

Expérience négative: Serious billing problems, avoid at any cost. If they get hold of your bank account they will be till the end of times. Very poor customer service.
Expérience positive: For the price they have, it's my go to gym. Goodlife costs an arm and a leg so this is a very good alternative. Has everything you need. Only issue I've had is sometimes a machine will go out of service e for an absurd amount of time. Not a big issue though.
Expérience positive: Great gym just right for me, very clean and staff is friendly. I only wish the amenities could be used when staff is not there.(tanning and hydro beds) But I now enjoy going and working out.. Thanks Fit4Less
