Expérience fantastique: I’ve been a member at this gym for well over a decade while the previous owner almost ran it to the ground. The new owner Francis has revived this gym to by far the best gym I’ve ever been to. I’ve been both a member and employee of LA fitness and Goodlife and can easily say hands down this place is the friendliest and cleanest. All the staff are friendly and have built an amazing community with the members. Everyone is friends here. The bathrooms/showers are cleaned so often you’d think the staff has OCD. I’ve had to freeze or cancel my membership a few times and every time Francis has been understanding and welcoming. The equipments are always well maintained and the few times there has been broken equipment, it has been resolved so quick I barely noticed. Would 100% recommend this place

The staff is always so friendly and helpful, the establishment is always clean and they have everything you would need to excel on your personal fitness goals, I don’t plan on going anywhere else for a very long time.

Expérience fantastique: I came here for personal training with Francis. The gym is awesome and super clean, including bathrooms. The machines are nice and the gym essentially has all the machines you can ask for considering it’s a small gym. Francis the owner is friendly and has helped me tremendously with my fitness journey. The staff there too are awesome.

Expérience négative: THE MOST AWFUL EXPERIENCE I HAD. Costumer service: - 0 Gym atmosphere and hardware : 0 Very bad culture and behavior towards costumers.. They just want to vacuum the money out of your pockets and offer you non. Very bad and stupid policies!!! Their cancellation policy absolutely SUCKS They have a DEATH POLICY !! Imagine that ! Like if I want to simplify it You have to be either dead Disabled for life Or move out to anywhere that is far enough from Anytimefitness to be able to cancel. That’s their cancellation policy !!! They need to make sure you’re either dead or in the hospital to stop sucking money out of you!!!! There is a guy there called Francis he is apparently the owner ! ( which I don’t know how with this level of costumer service and professionalism probably with daddy’s money lol ) He is very very rude he’s been calling me for months trying to force me pay for a gym membership that I haven’t been using for months ! Due to a shoulder injury ! Today I had my doctors letter ready so I called him today to tell him I have my letter from my doctor and if he provides me an email I can send it to him just as they wanted! So they can cancel and stop the charges . BUT SURPRISINGLY he started screaming at me through the phone telling me I can’t cancel if I don’t have a proof of a permanent injury from HOSPITAL ! Because he thought my injury is not serious enough! As if he is in a position to decide if a shoulder injury is serious enough or not ! Like are you a doctor Francis?! Who are you to decide if I am really injured and in pain or not !? Why is a medical letter not enough for you?? Why do you think that you can raise your voice at a woman and manipulate her to pay for your stupid good for nothing gym???! Who allowed you to decide if somebody’s injury is serious enough or not ?! All in all , This gym is not worth your time money and mental health.. it’s not worth it even if they pay you to go there .. If you respect your self and your hard earned money don’t sign up here .

Expérience fantastique: It’s a very good gym, all the staff are super friendly and accommodating, the facilities are well kept, and they have a great variety of equipment. The atmosphere here is so warm and welcoming too, with everyone more than willing to help you out with your workout (or just stop for a friendly chat between sets). It’s very clean, the staff always keep things nice and tidy and everything is kept in it’s place so it’s all easy to find. I highly recommend this gym to everyone looking for a new place to workout.

Expérience fantastique: This gym is absolutely amazing, 10/10. I have been a member here for 3 years now and the staff are all very kind and supportive and so are the members. The gym is also very clean, the equipment and machines are all in really good condition, and it’s a relatively quieter gym which I like because it’s not super crowded. I also highly recommend the personal training services they offer. Francis has been my PT since I joined the gym and is very knowledgeable and supportive in helping me reach my goals. If you’re looking for a gym with a nice atmosphere or for a PT that will push you, I definitely recommend this gym.

Expérience fantastique: Been going to this gym for years and it is without a doubt the cleanest gym I have ever gone to. All the machines are in tip-top condition and all amenities are always refilled (tissues, wipes, soap). Also, the people working here are some of the nicest I’ve seen and I always feel at home during my workouts. There is nothing I would change about this gym, kudos to the staff!

Expérience négative: Very awful experience and you will never want to go there even they give you the money. Average hardware and very bad culture. Tried to find a nearby and their website said they can offer a free trial. I booked a time and they sent three confirmation mails so you can find they are good at marketing but worst in the service. While I went there they just said they will not offer that only if you pay per day. So they are basically cheating and wasting your time. Moreover, after that they still sent junk email with the title “Ready to Use Your Free Pass? Let's Connect.” So totally stupid brand and IT system. When I mailed back to ask them stop bothering me their staff was very agressire in the words. Believe me you will never want to have any service from them Again： If you want to accuse me impolite please make it clear that happened after you cheating your customer and still sending junk and misleading mail. So I think this is stupid and ill for this Brand. If you want to have respect you should earn it. I came to Canada to make this place better，not to allow the cheating and liar live better. If you not offer that you just dont say that， I was a senior marketing person but we never did like what you have done. And you just lied again， when I was there you had nothing but saying you have no free trial. Use your brain， who really care 20 bucks， but most people will care if we can trust this store if we want to sign a one year contract. So this is not about what you are， it is about if I can believe in You. The Answer is obviously BIG NO， and you never deserve a polite way cheater and liar. By the way， if you have time arguing with the customer why not spending time on improving your service

Expérience négative: Very unprofessional service, especially from a person that is called alvin, Went in to enroll in a membership. One nice guy took me to the office and explained to me fees regarding yearly membership, so I agreed that he was going thru the process to sign me in, Then all of a sudden, alvin came in, which is the person I met a wk ago he was so confused about club fees, and he wasn't sure about anything!! So alvin cane I. I said (sorry, the owner just messaged me at this moment saying that other locations in full we not accepting any new members ). waooooo, what a coincidence!!!!! He assumed that I was so stupid, so he thought I believed him. So I told him It is amassing that the person I am dealing with is not aware that this location reached maximum capacity !!!! Since he is it that bright, he was shocked and didn't know what to answer . Then he said , "Well, he could enroll and pay here, then you could go use any other locations, but not this one!!!" I visited this location 3 times and never saw more than 5 people working out.... I will deal with the head office regarding this matter. **THIS IS A REPLY TO THE OWNER'S COMMENTS ** Thank you for your quick response, I guess Alvin was so quick to report to you false information. how could he have known what I asked the person I was dealing with if he wasn't in the office!!!!! ? So, by reporting to you false information filled with lies rather than facts That should confirm his unprofessional services dealing with customers and yourself. First, I informed the person that I was dealing with Alvin and that he did give me a tour when I was her earlier And so he didn't have to give me a tour. So he told me about new promotion regarding yearly fees , I DIDN'T ASK SAME QUESTIONS AS YOU ACCESSED ME OF DOING , I'm not blaming you, but I blame the person who falsely reported to you. The person I was talking to was very polite, explained clearly to me he didn't have to call u at all to find out information like Alven!! The total questions I asked were only 2 questions . One to confirm that I am getting 2 training sessions included, The second question was if showers area are open 24 hrs. So, I was in the process of enrolling for a yearly membership before Alvin merged in to the without any greeting,and informed me that he recieved a message from you that club is at full capacity now!! So now you proved to me that was a wasn't true,and Alvin was lying as you know. In the first visit, when I dealt with Alvin He didn't know much and wasn't sure about anything , He made it so complicated and so confusing. So, that made me ask more questions to clearly his information. One advice is to try not to reply to customer reviews without knowing the facts rather than accusing customers without sold facts, you could have said that you willing to discuss this matter by asking me to contact you. Expérience fantastique: I have visited a couple of Anytime locations. This one is by far my favourite. Francis (owner) is great and very helpful. Isabella, my PT, is all you could ask for in a PT. She is knowledgeable and experienced, pushes me to the limit every time. But that's what I need. She has helped me get back into shape after some injuries. Although I still have a bit to go for my goals, but we'll get there! I don't know the names of all the staff, but they are all really friendly and supportive. And as such they attract clients who also are supporting each other.

Expérience positive: I like this gym. The smaller vibe is nice and it’s not filled with douchebags and instathots. Equipments good but also not multiple of each equipment since it is small, also could use more equipment like glute extension or hack squat.

I definitely recommend the personal training services as well. I've noticed a positive change in my physical health as a result of signing up. The facility is well equipped and always clean. Lastly, the staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have as well. I'd recommend this location to anyone.

The cleanest gym I have ever seen. Francis (franchise owner) really does a great job running the gym, I feel like family every time I step in. They are following every exact rule and guidelines especially during these tough times of Covid-19 procedures. They take pride in keeping the gym clean 24/7 as well as providing members the useful tools to clean up after each equipment use. Personal training is highly sought after; all employees are professional trained and are there to guide you step by step. Highly recommend anyone to sign up for this gym you will not be disappointed. 10/10

The overall vibe of the gym is productive and positive. The recent renovations and careful modifications have raised the profile of the gym to world class. Highly recommended.

Expérience fantastique: As far as working out, you can see for yourself in the pictures how great the gym looks i will just confirm that what you see is what you get (a brand new gym, with amazing equipment for any workout). The staff is why i am giving it 5 stars though. I forgot my jordans at the gym one day and i thought forsure i would never get them back. I didn't even bother asking (a little embarrassed and really thought there was no way anyone would give them back). A month went by until i ran into the owner and he told me my shoes have been sitting in his office since he saw them. I couldn't believe none of the staff took them or that he would hold on to them for me for an entire month. This is the type of honesty that you won't find anywhere else. Easily 5 stars.

Expérience fantastique: I had a very pleasant experience with this gym and its staff. Facilities are adequately equipped, clean, brightly lit. It's been recently renovated and it shows. The gym is relatively small compared to other health clubs, but I've never had to wait for a machine, weights, or bathroom. The staff are eager to help and make your experience a good one. Sometimes my phone calls went to voice message during business hours, but they always called back within 1 business day. Before signing on I was able to get a 7 day free trial first, so I could see if the gym was a good fit for me before committing. There's only the initial registration fee, and a monthly payment going forward, in advance of every month. No hidden fees. They let you know when you sign on that they need 30 days notice for a cancellation (let them know before you are billed for that last month, that it will be the last month), which is reasonable. Cancelling my membership was easy and fast, and over the phone. They didn't give me any trouble at all. If I didn't have to relocate, I would have stayed at this gym forever!

Expérience fantastique: This gym has been such a pleasure to work out at! The 24/7 access leads to an increased workout frequency for me, and I found the consistent visits lead to very rewarding workout outs. The on site showers are awesome and is great in the morning! The equipment is all in good shape and clean, and there is a good variety. I find there isn’t often a queue to work out any muscle group. The people there all range in age and ability, and it’s a supportive gym. The music playlist is awesome and it isn’t so loud that you can’t listen to your own stuff - I often listened to podcasts while I worked out. Finally, the owner is extremely passionate about the gym and wants what’s best for his patrons, I’ve been extremely impressed with his customer service. My only complaint is the ab bench; it’s definitely leaves more to be desired. Other then that, I would recommend anyone who wants to start working out to try a trial and see if this works for them!

He always helps out with any concerns of complaints that anyone has, and he has a lot of valuable tips when working out. It truly feels like they care about the results of the gym members. Expérience fantastique: First of all I must say that the location looks great and modern after the renovations, I am excited to see what is to come as the renovations are still partiality happening. The shut down period might have been long however we need to keep in mind that it is a business after all and I am sure that if the conditions were allowing it they would have opened sooner. I have to give the owner and his team big credit on customer service which is crucial when running a business (good customer service is hard to find). I am very satisfied that the gym is finally open and when it so close to where I am located. I'd recommend to everyone to come check the new facilities out! Great job guys!

Expérience fantastique: Edit: Owner was very nice in the comments below, I’ve been back after the renovations and the gym is a 11/10. It’s the best gym in the area, and having it be open 24/7 is a major motivator for me. I have worked out a lot more with the gym being 24/7 access. It’s something about the fact I can work out at 11pm that is the difference between ending work late and watching Tv, or putting in 35 minutes of quality exercise. The new renovations are fantastic. Amazing owner too, it’s weird how that ends up going a long way, but it feels right working out at a gym where the owner is invested in it on a personal level.

The new management team is extremely kind and they really care about the facility and ALL their members. The equipment is great and the gym is constantly being upgraded. Usually gyms are intimidating for starting or switching members, but the culture and atmosphere in this gym is very pleasant, enjoyable, and most of all accepting. Would recommend any person into the doors to see for themselves.

The gym community has drastically changed with the new owners, everyone helps each other grow both physically and mentally, and it all stems from the actions of the owners. 2nd of all, the equipment and the gym itself is improving, it makes it easier for members to enjoy their home gym. All the work done behind the scenes is really coming into fruition in all aspects of the gym. The new community is a real reflection of the workers and owners commitment. They really take your momentum and stay with you until you are able to workout by yourself. Can't wait till my membership transfers back to my old anytime in Markham because the owners at Markham deserve my money way more than this unmaintained low budget branch.

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym I've been coming here for years ! The staff is great and the environment you get at this anytime fitness location exceeds any other I've ever been to :)

Expérience positive: The location is a bit small at times and some of the equipment is old but they've been slowly replacing things since I signed up in January. Staff is all very friendly and it doesn't usually get too busy during the week. I pay a great rate and get access to the other locations so I'm quite happy.

Expérience fantastique: I have a membership here. Its open anytime hence the name. The staff is friendly and the classes they have included with the membership is a nice addition as well. Everyone who goes here is friendly.
