Expérience fantastique: My son loves doing martial arts at ALL STAR MARTIAL ARTS Richmond Hill location. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the instructors are amazing. They are kind, but stern when they need to be. They teach important values and have a theme each month, such as healthy living, courage, motivation, etc... They even have the students do a list of various things to do throughout the day that they need to check off daily to receive an orange tape for their belt, this I found is very effective on building their independence. ALL STAR MARTIAL ARTS RICHMOND HILL IS GREAT!!!

Expérience positive: We brought our 7 year old daughter to All-Star Martial Arts for a FREE trial class over a month ago. She instantly fell in love with it! She's starting to take pride in her Taekwondo skills and looks up to the kids with the more advanced belts. It's great for her self-esteem, confidence, and probably most importantly her discipline. The team at All-Star Martial Arts are excellent - they make all the kids feel welcome and feel like they're part of a team. The class schedule is excellent, as it gives us a lot of flexibility to get her to classes every week. One area of opportunity is the change area - there a lot of kids that head into the change area with their outdoor shoes on (tracking in salt and dirt) and then the kids ready to head into class have to walk over the salt and dirt. Other than that, All-Star Martial Arts is great!

Master Sina is an excellent instructor. He teaches every class in a fun and engaging way. He is highly experienced at meeting the needs of the diverse range of levels of the students. His passion for teaching and helping each student (both children and adults) reach their fullest potential is really outstanding. After just one trial class that he taught was ready without hesitation to begin the martial arts journey at All Star. He is also one of my son's favorite instructors. When we ask our son how his class went the reply we often get from him in an excited voice is "I got to be in Master Sina's group!" Highly recommend learning from him for both the adult and children classes! Master Mahak's passion for teaching and dedication is shown in the way she teaches in the adult and children's classes. She is kind, friendly and is able to take challenging martial arts moves and make them easier to learn and master (like the turning kick :) She also has a lot of patience especially with children and adults that may not be very coordinated overall. I highly recommend learning from her for both the adult and children classes. The amazing martial arts experience at All Star Martial Arts is one you won't be able to find at any other martial arts center!

Expérience fantastique: My son has been asking to go to martial arts for a while and a few months ago we reluctantly agreed (he is 7 and wants to do just about everything, then easily gives up after a couple of classes as he loses interest). He has now attended AllStars for 6 months, progressed through a couple of belts, is more disciplined, a lot calmer, and LOVES every class. I did not imagine the impact these classes would have on him. What is even crazier - is the impact it is having on me! I love seeing the teachers interact with the kids and the joy and energy they bring while gently disciplining the kids is phenomenal - i can say although I am a mother of 3 boys, I might have picked up a few tricks in gentle parenting and learning while having fun. Also, I love the initiatives of the club - the month of May, mothers of their students practice martial arts for free. I attended every class I could and I loved them profoundly. I am seriously considering taking adult martial arts classes to help manage stress, stay fit, be more active and ultimately have more fun (not to mention yet another common interest and conversation opener with my kids). We all love this center and cannot recommend it higher! (oh - and the month of June dads train for free too!)

The teachers were extremely friendly and patient and allowed us to come back for another trial class. After a couple of classes my daughter became more comfortable and confident and eventually she fell in love with teakwando! Her overall confidence level has gone up since starting classes here and she’s learned a lot of moves too. We’re very happy to have registered her for classes here.

The staff is great, excellent communication and always willing to accommodate which is even more important now with all the changes in regulations due to COVID. The teachers are good. The sessions are good exercise for the kids and definitely builds their confidence. We tried a few different extracurriculars for my son but this is the one he enjoys the most.

I have always been impressed with how committed all of the teachers/masters and the support staff are in serving the students and their eager parents. I loved self-regulation, discipline and respect All Star is teaching my daughter, in addition to self-defense skills. What impressed me the most is how they have handled the COVID-19 situations so far. They leveraged technology effectively, turning their in-person lessons into online and proactively adjusting their fees in light of online offerings. We are very happy with the level of care they are taking in achieving the best standard of training even during Covid-19. The instructors and administrative staff are all wonderful, in particular Mr. Peter who is incredibly dedicated, highly skilled and is passionate about teaching. Since the pandemic they have continued offering online classes which I am so grateful for; as it has kept my children active and has continued to develop their skills.

The results are not handed out to the students, all need to work hard for it, however the approach is very positive and the results are stunning.
