Expérience fantastique: Great gym for the cost. Love the 24 hours, staff very friendly. Just wish more people would respect others and clean the machines after use. Very clean atmosphere. Slow at repairing machines at times, but there are others to use!

Expérience négative: Will not honour their parent company, Goodlife, memberships, so have to drive to Southdale Colonel Talbot location.

Expérience négative: Worse club ever. Feces on the floor in the changeroom, gym equipment NEVER wiped down, front staff are as dense as lead, over crowded, smelly, and sub standard equipment. There's a reason it's cheap.

Expérience fantastique: Good gym for the price. Generally nobody causes too much trouble and you can get a great workout in if you time your sets good enough because it can get busy at times, especially from 4 to 6.

Expérience positive: It would be a great gym if they can fix the smith machine, there is only one smith machine in the gym and does’t work, please fit4less fix the smith machine its stopping me to achieve my dream physique!

Expérience positive: The price is very reasonable but you get what you pay for and no more. Pros: The gym is a pretty good size and there are a fair number of machines and weights available. I like that they have TVs by the cardio machines and that there is a separate circuit rooom with more equipment. They have a black card exclusive workout area for those VIP members and there is a tanning bed and massage chairs for VIP access as well. The washroom/changeroom is always clean and there are a lot of lockers available (bring your own lock). Showers are available during staffed hours. Cons: Unfortunately, this place does get quite busy so it can be hard to access equipment during peak hours. The equipment maintenance seems like it is not a high priority with some equipment having broken pieces and some equipment "out of order" for weeks at a time. The temperature control also seems off within the gym and it can get uncomfortably warm and stuffy in the gym area at times. I noticed they recently took away hand sanitizer dispensers as well which kind of sucks. The staff within the gym is friendly but Fit4Less overall customer service is lacking. It is almost impossible to get any support for billing or membership related issues. Overall three stars because I understand this is a no frills style gym so I don't expect too much and it still does it's job. That being said, there are still some basic improvements/maintenance efforts that can be made to improve the upkeep of the gym and for overall customer satisfaction.

The variety of equipment and classes cater to all fitness levels, making it a great place for both beginners and seasoned gym-goers. I appreciate the clean and well-maintained environment, which adds to the overall positive experience.

Expérience négative: This gym use to be good. Don’t know what happened to cleanliness but it’s just disgusting. I’d honestly rather spend the extra money and go to st.Thomas health club. Or crazy joes gym

Expérience négative: Took unauthorized payments out of my account, called the gym and the guy couldn't explain any of it and had no number to call for customer service, told me his manager was on vacation and would call me back. Ended up canceling, would not recommend and I will turn anyone who asks away from this place, worst customer service experience of my life. ***** Edit asked for and paraphrased employee to ask manager to call me back after vacation and still no return phone call 4 weeks later... aweful people.. I cannot stress enough not to go here! I hope this review helps others!*****

Expérience fantastique: The only draw back is the idiots that slam weights. If you can't return it gently you're too weak, lower the poundage!!

Expérience positive: The level of cleanliness in the change room is extremely filthy. Carpet in change room is incredibly disgusting with dirt, debris, and it's not even winter yet. Please increase cleanliness as it's to the point of where it is unhygienic and probably not safe. Update: this was from over a year ago and there is no change. It is in worst condition. There was one employee who was good and would see vacuuming regularly, but I bet he made the rest look terrible and they let him go. The equipment is becoming dilapidated and repairs take months and months. Does Patch really not care, or whoever is responsible, not care about an unhealthy environment?!? ... If you want planters warts on your feet or black mold in your lungs, this is the gym for you. (Update) Removed all the paper towels for since been here ... 2Hrs later no way to wipe down machines "TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT" Do better Patch, your legacy is getting tainted. *UPDATE: The carpet was finally removed (just in time for winter) and it has been noticed that to get staff has been regularly vacuuming and cleaning to stay on top of things. (Or at least a couple of the staff clean regularly)

Expérience fantastique: So tired of reading negative reviews about this place. It’s a budget gym. For what I pay it’s well worth the money. The staff are always welcoming and seem to enjoy working there. Been to plenty of gyms to be met by some surly grump staring into space. I see the staff clean on a regular basis and if I ever have a concern it’s addressed in good time. I also see the repair guys there fairly often dealing with machines. The only negatives are usually generated by other members being demanding or rude. Shame they can’t just go elsewhere.

Expérience positive: Originally I had this review at a 1 for rude employees and dirty gym. Since that review, the cleanliness has improved and employees seem much nicer or at the very least not on their phone all the time. I appreciate the progress.

Expérience négative: You would think that being closed for so long they would ensure the equipment is operating perfectly upon return. However thats not the case here. All but 2 bikes with foot straps, machines rusty and not lubricated, bolts loose and sometimes even missing, and seats not secure. Added to that, with social distancing in place, you would think that if you only have one machine of a certain exercise it would not be blocked off. Leaving no other options. Management needs to pick up their socks and actually make the space worth the monthly fee. Or perhaps move on to other employment. Making way for others who will do a good job properly. The daily staff is always a pleasure and welcoming.

Expérience négative: The worst gym I have ever been to! Once you commit to a pre-authorized payment, you're a rabbit trapped in a hole. It took a whole year of struggle to cancel and when cancelled, they took $50 more then they continued to take payments. All through that time, every time I call up. Every time I am requested to call the week after! because the manager is not in. I had to use the help of my bank to stop them from taking extra payments from my bank account and still waiting for the manager to be in and to get my refund!!

Expérience fantastique: This gym has an atmosphere unmatched by any other location. The gym has everything you need but can be very busy as it's a popular gym. The manager is well versed in member issues. Also, dumbbells up to 120 pounds!

Expérience fantastique: I just wanted to share my experience at Fit 4 Less in St. Thomas. I have been a member for about 4 years but prior to that I had been a member of the various clubs in London for about 20 years. Last April I began attending the club regularly and my experience has been very positive. The most positive part of the experience has been my interaction with the staff. I would have to acknowledge Kyle and Jake as a big part of the positive experience. They address me by name upon entering and exiting the club and are always very positive in the way that they interact with members. Starting at the gym again after a long absence can be intimidating but the way that these 2 approach their job has made this experience very positive. I would highly recommend this club to anyone!!!

Expérience positive: This is where cardio equipment go to die. Great business sense for Goodlife. Audio does not work on any machines. You rely on screens at the front wall. The closed captions are so small you cant even see it. Frustrating....

Expérience positive: Very affordable,and well equipped. Staff is friendly and usually greets with a smile. It is a great place to workout. Only two issues need correcting to earn a 5 star. 1) the rug in the men’s change room! They need to take the bacteria, virus and fungus filled carpet out and replace it with a floor that can be cleaned properly. 2) other Fit4Less gyms have hand sanitizer dispensers readily available. This location does not. Now has hand sanitizer! Thank you

Expérience fantastique: Gym is small but it has everything you really need for a good workout. For 10$/month it's an amazing deal. But that makes this gym better then others is the friendly staff that work their. Kyle and jake in particular goes above and beyond and is always welcomes me when I walk in 10/10

Expérience négative: I joined Fit4Less thinking it would help with my body ailments, but have been advised to stop. I contacted them to see if I can cancel my 1 year contract since I can't go and feel like it's a waste of my money but they said NO. Not very accommodating and understanding.

Expérience négative: The staff is fabulous. They can have a 5, the company has made changes that aren't logical to clients. Fired cleaning personnel, hired night cleaners. If you have the new set up- the first clients get a clean facility the rest get a mess. Old system clean all day. Happier clients. Apparently men's change room smells real bad.

Expérience négative: My son took me her last weekend so I could have a try, I want to strengthen myself, legs and arms, lose around 10 lbs... more if possible, but this will make me more stronger for the surgery and events that take place afterwards. Being 63, its a goal of being a stronger person, not a perfect person... I have to be let in my someone, 3 employee's nearby, one says I'll be back in a minute... the other two disappear. Another employee bring garbage out, a small bag, but still needs help from another, to put in the trash... a... small... bag..... but I'm still waiting., the young lady leaves while saying to me.. wait a minute.... (trash came first..that one small bag) The first lady comes back and say's come in... so I acquire, that I want to join.... question by her.... did I fill paperwork out, all I said, I would like the black card, so I can use the treadmill and bike, she says I need your bank account on forms and to get access to the place. I was willing to pay cash... but they don't take cash. I asked if I could join monthly, I was willing to pay for whatever the cost.....She says... wait....brings back the manager, now I am surrounded by 4 employee's, the manager says I have to join at home on the computer, and as I'm standing there, I thought how rude they are staring, looking up and down at me, never felt berated in my life, I wore a old t shirt, so I wouldn't sweat so much, doesn't hold the heat, black pants... I guess I'm not young enough, fashionable enough...pretty enough... really made me felt so unwanted.... I couldn't run out of the place fast enough....

Expérience positive: Nothing special. Staff is really nice and its decently clean. Since the renovations they need a door or wall in front of the hydromassage. Also need another cable machine. This location has very basic gym needs.

Expérience positive: I joined Fit4Less a little over a year ago. I am very happy with the availability of the machines and weights. Unfortunately there is a short front desk girl which works steady days which goes to great lengths to avoid saying hi or bye. I do not feel welcome. Every other front desk person is very friendly.

Expérience positive: This location used to be very clean. Unfortunately with a change of cleaning staff the gym has become somewhat dusty & the change rooms/washrooms are not that clean. Excellent gym with all the equipment that you need to have a good workout for strength training & cardiovascular exercise.

Expérience fantastique: Just passing through never used a Fit4Less before. $10.00 for drop-in I thought it was very reasonable price for the amount of equipment that they had available. Every piece of equipment I used seemed to be in great condition. Lady at the front desk had a great smile and very helpful. There membership price is amazing compared to other gyms I have used before, if I lived here I would sign up.

Expérience positive: Good tanning, low cost. There are a lot of normal Fit4Less services that this location doesn't offer.

Expérience négative: There are always machines broken. Or the water fountain is busted. Men's room probably gets vacuumed once daily. Some machines are so dirty they stink. The staff is usually sitting on a yoga ball behind the desk instead of looking after any of this. Regret paying for the year. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

Expérience fantastique: Got a full year membership for under $200. Lots of equipment. Busy but never had trouble finding room to workout.

Expérience négative: Always full. Bad customer experience but you get what you pay for.

Expérience fantastique: It's great! A good mix of equipment. Some things are not usually available at fit4less's. I use to go to Goodlife but then moved to St.Thomas and was forced to go here instead. I love it. A small version of my favourite goodlife in London and half the price!
