Expérience fantastique: I truly can't begin to express how much I love our gym. The anytime fitness gym located in downtown Kelowna does an outstanding job at creating a safe and welcoming space. The staff at this gym are kind, caring, and supportive. Everyone wants you to win in and out of the gym. The staff do a great job at keeping the facility clean. I feel blessed and grateful to be able to workout here. Kyle, Paula, and Chris - thank you for being you. You are all leaders that lead by example. Kyle - thank you for being my soberiety accountability partner and for supporting me. Paula - thank you for creating a warm and safe space. I love your energy! Chris - thank you for helping me with my assisted pull ups and for maintaining our gym. Happy Holidays and Happy New Years!!!

Anytime fitness downtown is equally welcoming and comfortable. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely kind trainer, Kyle is the best choice!

Expérience négative: Original (Oct 8, 2024) "I visited today and was surprised to find that I was refused the Evolt 360 scan, which I was told is no longer part of my membership. I explained that my 24-month membership includes one free scan per month, and my last free scan was in January 2024 without any issues. The staff seemed skeptical and insisted on a $20 charge. Feeling frustrated, I left without working out and will be canceling my membership. Very disappointing experience." Update (Oct 9, 2024) The owner initially responded to my review, acknowledging that the Evolt scan policy had changed and apologizing for not making this clear earlier. However, they have since edited their response, removing both the acknowledgment of the policy change and the apology. I have a screenshot of their original response, and I find it troubling that, rather than being transparent, these key points were removed. I’m also concerned that other members may be unknowingly charged for a service that was previously included. I’ve since requested to cancel my membership, but the way this situation was handled has left me disappointed.

Expérience fantastique: Every time I walk into this gym, I am always greeted with a warm welcoming smile by Chris and the team. They take time out of their day to just say “Hi” (wave to acknowledge me) or to even answer a quick question. One of the most inviting, friendly, helpful, attentive team I’ve ever met. Pretty blessed!

Expérience négative: My self davinder currently i am facing medical issues and these guys are so selfish.I even send then my doctors note but they want to know my medical condition .well no one have any right rather than my doctor or my family to know about my medical condition. I am in this situation for 3 months and they are not cancelling my membership . For me there is no sense for paying the membership fee if i am not welling to go there .Moreover, i been taking with chris over the email but he is not replying me anymore.I need solutions as soon as possible .

Expérience fantastique: I signed up for this gym in July of 2023. It is absolutely my favorite place to go to the gym because it is open 24/7! I also love that even though it’s downtown everytime I go there is not too many people. My least favorite part about planet fitness and other gyms is that the machines I wanna use are always taken. Fortunately, since the gym is 24/7 it is rarely crowded. I can get in and get out quickly! The coaches who work here are absolutely amazing! If you need external motivation, they are great at providing that. There’s also a lot of benefits that come with the membership! I’ve had sessions where staff has even taught me how to use the machines correctly and build routines to help me reach my goals.

Expérience fantastique: This gym is a hidden gem in the heart of Downtown Kelowna. The facility is always clean, staff are welcoming and members are friendly. Even better yet, they are located right beside Blk Box for all your pre and post work out needs! :-)

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been to lots of AF gyms across western Canada and the AF Kelowna downtown location is one of the best. Always adding new equipment and improving functionality of the gym. Plus, the community here is top tier. Chris and Paula seriously make this gym an encouraging, clean, safe, and fun space to workout in. Highly recommend!

When you're exercising you're going to feel a lot hotter than that. Please don't be cheap with the AC especially in the summer heat

Expérience positive: Great gym. It's small but never too busy that there aren't options available. It would have been great if the membership set up included a tour right then in the moment of all areas/equipment to help newcomers see what there is to use (it's big enough the equipment in the back area can't all be seen perfectly from the entrance) . The tour would also help on a psychological level for newcomers to feel more at ease with starting out the fitness journey. Just a suggestions for some above and beyond service. Overall fantastic experience. They do offer a complimentary one on one session with a trainer but some people may not want that and simply would like a detailed tour. Thanks for the experience!! Also to note. Be VERY mindful when getting a membership, there is a $300 cancelation fee. I understood and accepted this when signing up. Just an FYI for my fellow impulse buyers out there who may follow thru on the contract out of an internal people pleasing mechanism after having gone thru the time to hear what the gym has to offer, etc. IYKYK ;)

Expérience négative: Nice facility, lower mainland locations are very small and don’t offer anywhere near the same services. Watch out for those contracts, very long and very costly to get out of. In response to the contact from Anytime fitness, never said month to month wasn't available, stated that the contract was long and costly to get out of. Facts are perfect and accurate. Look at your own policy, have a nice day

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and seem genuinely invested in the health and strength of their members. The facilities are clean and tidy. Most importantly, the equipment is in good repair and there is a great functional strength area for athletic training. Membership is on the pricier side, but the price is validated by the quality of services rendered.

Expérience fantastique: This was my first time visiting an Anytime location and I was impressed with the cleanliness and the range of amenities available. Liam was helpful in providing information about the gym. You just can’t beat the convenience of Anytime if you travel a lot, like I do. There is no assigned parking, but I was able to find free parking on the street a couple minutes away.

Expérience fantastique: I had a problem with my membership from one location to another. I guess when you use a facility more than others your membership also can transfer. The difference of my original membership to the new one was a difference of 10-20 dollars a month. Because of this I asked that something be done. I was paying more then what I was told. Chris the manager at the dt Kelowna location was more than accommodating and helpful to resolve this matter. After a few hours he called me, to let me know that they will honor the original agreement. Thank you Chris and anytime fitness. Huge appreciation for doing this as I understand fully how difficult contracts can be. Again this is how business should be ran! Amazing customer service.

Expérience positive: The gym was clean, staff was friendly, and all equipment was in good condition. The squat rack could use a few more 45lbs plates, it’s pretty limited if all 4 racks are being used. The gym could also use a barbell bench.

Expérience positive: Visited from Salmon Arm, nice location and gym. I'm sure it's clean normally. However, they were unstained on Sunday. Bathrooms were pretty dirty, with no paper towels. The rest of the gym was kinda dirty also. The equipment was great!

Expérience fantastique: Love coming to this gym, super convenient location. Always clean and the staff are so welcoming. The vibe is really nice from all the members too. Plenty of different machines and even a punching bag which is so fun. I’ll have to try a group class sometime soon!

Expérience négative: The first time I came here, the place itself was DISGUSTING. the garbage in the washrooms were overflowing, there were no sanitization wipes to clean machines, and someone was working out with no shoes on. I chalked this up to it being the long weekend and no staff on site. However, the second time I came there was urine around a lot of washrooms, and when I went to wipe off the yoga mat I was going to use its apparent that they have not been properly cleaned. Unfortunately I am not able to post a picture of the wipe I was using but it was horrid. Beyond cleanliness, this place is pretty small. There is no place to really do any stretching, and it looks like they just tried to fit as many machines in as possible. They also don't have a separate more private area to work out. Even their classes appear to be out in public which can work for some people, except newer individuals working on their fitness or those that are a bit shy. I also don't really get the friendliness vibe either, most people there were incredibly standoffsish. Will be going to the other 2 locations in Kelowna. The one down the road is pretty nice.

I also love how bright and clean their space is, and their manager Chris is so welcoming and helpful. This gym is beautiful and modern, with amazing, welcoming team members! Expérience fantastique: Update: Liam is great. He resolved the problem at hand as soon as possible. He even offered an extended trial, just to make up with the inconvenience and time loss. Unfortunately, I was not able to take the offer, but I truly appreciate the care they gave. More power to this branch. I find it hard to contact them. It’s always the answering machine that answers the call every time. I don’t get a callback on messages I sent even on email. Something else must have been causing it, but I hope it gets fixed.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym for anyone living close to downtown Kelowna. Love the benefit of being able to use any other anytime fitness location. This specific location isn't the biggest, so make sure you check how many people are in the gym on the app before heading there. Staff are great and very helpful. Rates are fair and comparable to other gyms. All the equipment is brand new and they even take suggestions from customers on what equipment they should purchase next. If you need a great gym in the Downtown Kelowna area, anytime fitness is a great option.

The dumbbells reach 100lbs. There’s also a functional training area and cardio stations. It was not busy when I trained there.

Expérience fantastique: My friends and I were walking downtown and had a sudden urge to get a quick pump. We saw this new, beautiful, location and went inside. We were greeted kindly by Mr. Liam and he was of utmost help and consideration. He offered us a free trial and so we went and had a glorious bench session. The facility, the machines, the bench, the vibe.. immaculate. Due to the kindness of Liam and the exquisite facility, our spontaneous desire for a pump generated 3 new possible members. Thank you for the experience!
