Hi Kris, For the record, you signed up in May 18, 2024 for biweekly dues of $16.79 on a month to month autorenewing membership. You only paid one dues of $16.79 on top of the sign up fee. Thats a total of $120.00 only. Not sure how you got $300 for 3 visits. Now you do owe us $123 for biweekly dues. The gym was open and you were allowed to use the gym 24/7. YOU chose not to use the gym and not because we did not allow you to. So, if that is wha you mean by 3 visit costing you UNDER $300, then that is on you not us. Just wanted to set the record straight.

Expérience négative: READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. The first reason I am writing this review is that if you want to cancel the contract, you need to pay $85 to do so. The second issue is the smell: even though this gym always keeps the windows open and the AC running, the smell of sweat is permanent there.

Expérience négative: when you close your account, the costumer service tells you the job is done! but that's not true: they ask you for a large sum of money some time later. I've never seen a gym with an APB against this customer. management is very particular

Hi, we don’ this is the case. You closed your bank account in where that is where we were withdrawing money. That was October 24,2023. Then we sent you email about this but your unsubscribed to the emails in November 6, 2023. This was only 5 months ago. You didn’t notify “customer service” that you wanted to cancel. If you did, then why did you unsubscribe to our emails notifying you of outstanding dues. Kinda funny isn’t it when the facts come out.

Expérience fantastique: Just came in on July 20th at noon, I got a new gym setup in my house so I had to cancel here but the lady working at the front that day had amazing customer service and was amazing and sweet, she made the process easy and had a smile on the whole time, people like that keep customers coming back! If management sees this give the girl some praise as she deserves it!

Expérience fantastique: Best value for the price gym in my neighbourhood. This gym was the primary reason I chose the apartment that I'm in as it is just a 5 minute walk away. Has all the free weights and equipment you would need for a great full body workout.

Here we go again. We get a one star review because of something that wasn't our fault. You go away and not paid your dues. We send the debt off to collections. You contact us and we stated that if you can provide proof of cancellation, we will write of the debt. You said you spoke to someone at some time and said that you cancelled. We don't have a record of this. You signed the agreement knowing that you needed to provide written cancellation notice via email or in person by filling out a form. Of course that was not done. If it was, then we would have a record and would have written off the debt. In this case, since there is no proof, then the debt stands. How on earth is that bad customer service? OK, if it is bad customer service because you didn't get the outcome you wished for. Then it is bad customer service on our side.

We love this. You left a review on our Burnaby page and now New West. All on the same day. What a coincidence. Just for clarity, we are not defending unfair comments. Why would we defend positive comments when it is positive. By the way, if you were a member, then you would know that "NEW' management is actually old management and management actually works in the gyms to make sure that all machines are working, gym is clean and staff is polite and professional.

Expérience négative: I recently canceled my membership here. I was a member for almost 4 years. I moved and had to changed gyms. When I went to cancel my membership I had to pay a cancellation fee. I wanted to see if he could wave the fee since I was a member for almost 4 years. I left a message for the owner to call me and no one replied. I went in there to talk to the owner and he was not there. I feel so disrespected that no one would even call me back!!!! I had to pay the cancellation fee. I would not recommend this gym due to the business etiquette I received. I am disgusted at how I was treated after so many years of membership.

Just for clarity, you had a 6 months membership and you wanted to change to a 24 month membership for a biweekly price of 9.99. You signed a contract with us and agreeing that you would honor the terms and conditions. On your 24 month contract, you have only 4 more months left. You wanted to cancel because you moved but not 30 KM away. Hence you need to honor the agreement between us. If we don't enforce this, then what is the point of having a contract and having you only pay $9.99 every two weeks. A contract is a contract. You would want us to honor our part and hence why would we expect any less from you. The reason why the manager hasn't called you yet is because he is in the gym today and not yesterday. And finally, we hope you and your "girlfriends' have a great time in Planet Fitness.

Expérience fantastique: To be honest, I looked for budget gym. Despite that other message, I went yesterday today to register, there was a lady and a gentleman who are super friendly, show us around the gym, explain everything. I booked for tomorrow through email, response quickly and nicely. They explained about Covid situation, 1. Should make a booking before come down to prevent, people limit and go home 2. Tissue and sanitizer to wipe the equipment after use There are planty of equipments. Some are out of order not because of broken for social distance. Might not have so updated equipments. But you can exercise every single part of muscles or fitness. Best part is 24/7. If you are shift worker or early bird or late night worker suite you. I am not a promoter, just a positive reviewer. If you look for effortable or limited budget on fitness this is good for you. If you think, you can spend 400CAD above, look for shiny, vibrant, updated equipment and atmosphere, please skip.

Expérience négative: The equipment is old, malfunctioning, and some is broken. Workout areas are often commandeered by groups of "gym bros." The owner comes across as passive aggressive, almost like he's unhappy with being where he is. Maybe his apathy is also why the gym is run down, smelly, and in desperate need of renovation. I've seen people fob in and then hold the door for non-member friends to walk in. I've also seen strangers just wander in during the daytime when the door's open but nobody's at the desk. It's a cheap gym, which is decent, although they are very obviously all about shaking as much money from you instead of providing a decent gym experience. I definitely wouldn't recommend joining. 3.4 stars says it all, tbh.

Expérience positive: Friendly staff but the gym is relatively small with limited equipment. Much of the equipment is aged, and some is in disrepair. That said, it's not difficult to manufacture a decent workout. The price is reasonable with monthly fees (including the annual fee) averaging around $40.00.

Expérience négative: Avoid this Gym at all costs, run down equipment, no management. When you want to cancel they continue to take money out of your account with no permission. AVOID. There are many other gyms around New West for you to try out that are much more professional.

Hi, if there is an issue with your membership please let us know. We will try to rectify the situation. All cancellation requires a 30 days notice. You will have two more payments after that. This was stated on your signed agreement and initialed by you. So not sure where the miscommunication is. We understand your credit card declined but that really isn’t our issue. Expérience négative: I have been going to this gym starting from 2014, even before the current owners took over the business and renamed it to "ez fit". But now, I discourage all my friends and acquaintances in New West community from going there. Dont waste your time. There are many other decent gyms located in NW. This guys have no idea what is the "customer service" or "client retention strategies". Their contract full of hidden fees and the only thing they care about is to charge you as much money as they can. If there is even 1 single overdue payment, or returned payment (which is happens if your credit card got scammed), don't expect that they will call you (just like other companies do) and customer service representive will politely ask you/remind you/find out - what is going on dear client, eh? NO. They will put extra amount of money on your bill and start threatening you with collectors right away)). This people acting like a racoon pelt sellers somewhere in the vilage market) Stay away from them.

Hi Eldar. Just to clarify, your credit card came back as declined and not “pick up card” which is generally the message when your card has been compromised. In addition, our membership software automatically sends emails and mobile text to the email and number on file to let you know you have missed payments. We have record of both email and text being sent to you. Finally, you joined us in late 2019 and we never changed ownership since. Best Ezfit.

Expérience fantastique: Been coming for two weeks and I love it! Friendly staff who are helpful and encouraging, smaller space which I prefer but also enough equipment that I haven’t had to wait for anything. Great with Covid rules, wearing masks, sanitizing, and limiting number of people in the gym; I have had to wait outside once, for 2-3 minutes, which was peak time on a weekday at 5:30pm. Loving it! ‍♀️

Expérience fantastique: I love coming here as it's a 24 hour gym, close to home, and most importantly it's cheap! It only costs $20 a month plus the yearly membership fee (which is also really small). They have other plans as well, the one I'm on is the two year contract. Also, this is in fact open 24 hours even through the pandemic.

Expérience négative: @The owner: updated review for your response. Would you like to see the proof that I have from Fraser health about 10 days of self isolation? I told you already that I have it. Still not convinced!! Anyway, please initiate the cancellation proceedings. Thank you so much for everything. It was nice coming to ez fit. I wanted to get back to my work out and get back in shape ASAP. But, It looks like EZ fit stays on top of government directives. Never mind. I am thinking about cancelling my membership by paying the early cancellation fee and start doing workout on my own. They still needs us not to come to the gym for 14 days when the Fraser health directive is to self isolate for 10 days when exposed to covid and now that the person is healthy and back to normal. Still, it’s been 12 days already and they still need 14 days. This is what I don’t like about. Feeling confused with whom should we follow?’ The government or the others!!!??? Now that I am being demotivated and disheartened, I don’t know when would I go back to this place!!!

What we are trying to state is that we would like to follow the global standard to help curb the spread of the virus in which is 14 days quarantine. If our children at school catches the virus, they are told to stay home and isolate for 14 days. Therefore, we as a business have made this decision to ensure the safety of our members If you are not satisfied with our way of assuring the safety of our staff and members, then we will be sorry to see you go. As for your cancellation fee, that is totally separate from your membership fee. Therefore it can not be offset. Hi Thomas. We understand your frustration during these troubling times. To our knowledge, the Fraser Health directive is to self isolate for 14 days and not 10 days. To protect all our existing members, we feel that it is better to be safe than sorry. Since it has been 12 days already, it would not be much of a sacrifice to stay quarantined for another 2 days to ensure the safety of your fellow members. Our main goal during these trying times is to ensure our staff and existing members remain safe and healthy. As per your discussion with our colleague you, are allowed to go back to the gym on November 18 in which you are ok with. If you feel that strongly about not coming back and disheartened, please let us know and we can start the cancellation process for you.

Expérience positive: The gym needs to do more precautions due to covid-19. The max capacity is now 20 people, but the gym is small, so it feels way too over crowded (around 8-10pm) I am not sure if there's proper disinfectant for viruses in the gym. I heard that the sanitizer was tequila, which is only a proper disinfectant for bacteria. I feel that the staff should disinfect the gym more often, and keep it clean. Otherwise, the gym has everything you need, and I've been going here for awhile. Overall, I like it and the location is convenient for me. I just wish they took more precautions due to covid as there's still cases in BC. Such as doing mandatory temperature checks, etc. Edit: Thank you for your professional and informative response!

Hi Yasmeen. Thank you for your comment. The hand sanitizer that we use smells like tequila because we think it is made by a beer factory. During the Covid period beer companies stepped up to make hand sanitizer that was running short globally. It is WHO approved plus cleared by Fraser Health. Once we have finished the 20 litres that we bought during covid, we will get a better smelling one. As for the sanitizer for wiping down the equipment, we use quat which is a hospital grade sanitizer. That was also checked by Fraser Health the last time they came and they said that’s suitable for disinfecting and cleaning. Our staff are instructed to sanitize every hour on the hour. We will speak to the staff to make sure that this is adhered to. Finally, thank you for being part of the gym and for your valuable feedback. Stay safe and healthy.

Expérience négative: I just have to say, as a potential customer after reading the reviews, the contract policy and payment seems to be scary enough not to join the gym. Isn't there a way to be more understandable to your customers if they want to opt out? Even one comment that says you will reinstate the contract after the person left the gym? It sounds like the contract is a bible...

Expérience positive: I will give 4star, only because when the equipment break you need to wait for weeks to fix it. Other than that I love everything in this gym. Been using this gym since 2013 when it was FIT-XPRESS I cancelled my membership twice and got no problem the only reason I did cancel it is because it’s too far from my house and tried other gym but I keep coming back to this place. People are helpful even the other members are very friendly totally recommend this gym

Expérience négative: I gave them the form to cancel my subscription 2 months ago and they have still been charging me since. Promised me too that the payments would stop that month. I called them to ask if the form went through and said they had "a note" for it in the system. Be careful and check your bank statement because they'll try to milk as much money from you until you take notice. Terrible company.

Expérience négative: They make cancelling the membership a nightmare. They wanted me to come in in-person to do it, until I made up a story of how I moved to Calgary. Despite saying they cancelled it, I got charged an extra month. Just stay away for your own good.

Hi Alban. As per your signed contract, you have a thirty day notice for cancellation. You will also need to go in to fill out a form for cancellation as proof of your cancellation. We do not think that is unreasonable because whenever you sign a contract, you should be honouring it. If not, why sign a contract. On that note, being that you lied to get out of your contract, we should reinstate it.

Expérience fantastique: My first gym experience, but I go 5 days a week and it's great. No meatheads banging weights and grunting obnoxiously; just regular people trying to get or stay in shape. They don't seem to mind a heavily tattooed freak like me. Lots of well-maintained machines and friendly staff.

Expérience positive: Clean and always open. They got most equipment that you need. I would have given it 5/5 stars but my only issue is the staff. Oddly enough it's the younger staff that are nice and welcoming, when the older lady just kind of ignores everyone. Doesn't say Hello, or Goodbye. I don't know why they would want such a miserable person working front desk at a gym

Expérience négative: Don't trust this gym with financial information. They will say one thing and charge you later hiding behind a "we have no control over our system when it charges" clause. Take your business elsewhere, there are many gyms in the area that are honest and fair.

Expérience négative: Today, I have horrible experience. I signed in the membership two weeks ago and I paid for the enrollment fee and card fee with my friend. However, we have to go back our country all of sudden so we went to cancel the membership. Today is 16th of Jan, the reception guy said we have to pay for the membership until 15 of Feb. even I don’t know one month notice before cancellation, but okay it is my fault cause I didn’t read the contract carefully. I mean I am willing to pay twice as my membership is bi-weekly. But he said to me that payment days are 18th of Jan, 1st of Feb and 15th of Feb. I totally don’t understand why I have to pay three times. I asked him and he answer that my last day will be 15th of Feb. He said if you cancel yesterday, your last day will be 14th of Feb so you don’t need to pay 15th of Feb. That means I have to pay one more time because of only one day. I don’t really want to waste my money. I asked him that please call your boss for me to pay twice only. He said I already did but the boss said No. Oh my goodness.. the owner is so strict.. but it is their rule. I can do nothing to reduce amount of payment. I paid one and half month fee. Plus, before I leave I asked him that I can get the card. He said No again. It is soooooo ridiculous because the card fee is non refundable. He asked his boss again and the answer is No again. Ans most importantly, he took my card right away. That means I cannot use their gym as of today even though I paid the fee which can use the gym until end of Feb. I am leaving after a week but this system is so awkward. I don’t understand their system. I have a plan to come back here soon but I never get the membership again.

Dear Minseon, We have looked in to your account and as per your agreement, you will need 30 days notice for cancellation. Fortunately, my colleague did not count correctly. There are 31 days in January and hence you will not have to pay for the 15th Feb. The 30 days cancellation lands on 14th February. As for your key fob, my colleague incorrectly took it away from you and your partner. Please drop by the gym and we can give it back to you. The reason we do not take back fobs is because we cannot reuse them. If we were to pass an old fob to a new member, they will not like that as well. Expérience négative: This gym is sketchy at best. I just called in to sign up, their website says "No contract, no excuses" "24hr access for $9.99 a month." The guy who answers tells me he doesn't check the website often and opens it up to confirm what the website says. He goes on to say that even though the website says no contract, the no contract price is $14.99 bi weekly. Not $9.99 a month. There's also a $20 enrollment fee on top, which the website says so that seems fair. When I ask why the site says $9.99 no contract he says this: "It's clearly there to catch your eye and get you to call us!" Flat out admitting that the pricing is wrong. If they're this open about their dishonesty just imagine how bad it'll be once you sign a contract. Places like this are why gyms have such a bad reputation for sketchy billing practices and hidden fees.

However, we do have other memberships with higher pricing that does not bind with any contracts. Expérience fantastique: Lots of equipment , no waiting around . The lowest rates I ever seen yet . Great atmosphere . We lile it that it is open 24 hours a day . We do miss the previous manager, she was great . We still this gum 5 stars

Expérience fantastique: just joined and i am pretty impressed for 20 bucks a month it is very good, has alot of equipment and alot of space it is a little worn down but the main thing is that you get a good workout, staff is very friendly . If you are on a budget and cant afford $54.99 per month , this is the gym for you, also the fact that it is so close to my home is another great thing

Expérience fantastique: I tried out this gym for the first time today and my experience was amazing. The staff welcomed me at the door and helped me navigate the space to find what I was looking for. The gym is clean, not over crowded, and full of beautiful floor to ceiling mirrors. Perfect for the after selfie!

Expérience positive: Update to my old review. Staff remain lovely and this gym is cheap as chips, functional, and generally well-stocked as well as 24/7 so those are all good things...but im knocking some stars off for a few reasons. 1. The gym is often very busy now and it can be hard to get a workout in with emerging groups of gym-bros commandeering sections. 2. In addition the general odour of so many bodies kind of drives home you are working out in a busy room of strangers during a pandemic. 3. Limiting the number if gym users would be a prudent step but the gym management don't seem to agree. Mask rules are also extremely lax in enforcement. This doesn't follow the science, but persuasive 'wellness' culture is anti-mask and anti-vaxx so i have to feel for them a bit as a gym as I'm sure they've been somewhat caught in the crossfire of this pandemic and it cant have been pleasant for them . Still, i wish they'd do more here. 4. Equipment is often partially broken now with fix times being substantial. 5. I agree with the comments about their pay structure, but I have been okay paying here and there because it is SO cheap, however, it could do without these backdoor fees and fines. Per example, i had a credit card expire once and they charged me the late fee regardless. Been with this gym since like 2018 or 19 i think so that was kind of a bummer. I generally tell people the gym is 'OK' but i would recommend it only if 1. You are chill with the lax enforcement of local covid rules (I am not really, but it is so convenient compared to other gyms) 2. You dont mind compromising on equipment sometimes for the price.

Expérience négative: SCAM, STAY AWAY. They are professional scammers. I have been scammed twice by this gym. Initially I purchased a package of assessment plus 3 training sessions, I've had the assessment and 1 training session, when I tried to get my last 2 trainings the ownership changed and they said I would have to pay again. I sent an email to both the new and old owners saying no new charges were to be made on my credit card and found out today they have been charging me all along, about 6 months and OVER 400 dollars from my account. If you read previous comments you can clearly see it is a common standard for them to play this trick and scam money from their customers. So the truth is there, if you want lots of headache and being stole be a customer of this gym.

Expérience négative: I have had a membership with this gym for the better part of a year but I have not been able to go lately due to a change in my work schedule. When I tried to go this morning they had changed the door to fob entry only - with no notice of when office staff would be in. I suppose sending out an email is beyond their capabilities. I work for a living, I wonder when I will be able to get in during "office hours" to get a fob. All this really is is using technology as an excuse to not pay someone a salary (and so add to the community). It also puts patrons' safety at risk.

Hi Kristy, Apologies on for you not being able to get in. We are staffed from 7AM till 9PM Monday till Friday and 9AM till 8PM Saturday and Sunday. During those times, our staff is more than happy to help you swap out the key card to a FOB (for free of course) The reason for the change is so that members in the area can go to the gym during off peak hours and it will lend a lot of flexibility to those members. Yourself included. Prior to the switch to the FOB system, we were staffed from 5:30AM till 11PM Monday to Friday and 7AM till 8PM on Saturday and Sunday. I understand that we are staffed less but I assure you that no staff was let go because of the shorter hours. Our gym is monitored 24 hours and we have cameras all over the facility. Compared to before that is. Finally, apologies on not sending out an email but if there in changes in the future, we will send an email accordingly. Best ezfit New West

Expérience négative: The worst gym I've ever had the displeasure of using. Broken machines, terrible staff retention, low ceilings that make any overhead lifts dangerous, the list goes on. Management doesn't ever bother fixing or upgrading based on suggestions, but they do make darn sure to stick you with every fee possible and make the contract super hard to get out of. Avoid at all costs.

Expérience négative: **recent update on 2MAR2020, 2 STARS I have seen multiple negative comments about the membership cancellation and issues... i haven't experienced those so i can't speak to that; however, i just had an incident that my credit card got fraud and cancelled last WED and replacement arrived soon after. By Monday, i went to the gym and update my payment info and being told that i have missed "SEVERAL payments" and charged of $13.xx on the late payment. As i'm shown of the payment history, there was ONE missing payment on the most recent FRI and the late fee. It is rather upsetting as it's frustrating enough for having the credit card being fraud, on top on that, i'm being penalized and criticized for not calling in to inform of the removal of credit card payment info. I'm not sure about you, but gym membership definitely isn't the first thing that comes to my mind when knowing my credit card is fraud. Being a gym member since 2016, now I truly understand that loyalty to a location means nothing. there was no sympathy whatsoever given to my situation. I just finished worked and first thing i did was already coming to update the payment. Then i'm informed that I have multiple late payments and "you don't have to pay now, but you can't enter the premises with your key if you don't pay." Multiple late payments as in a payments from Last FRIDAY + a charge you placed on me. Making it sounded like I missed months of payments Frankly it was not the $13 that upset me. It was the lack of understanding of the situation I was in. ****A local community gym. It is 24/7. All the basic equipment you need to have a nice workout. It is rarely over busy, usually the same crowd that goes to this place but surely there are some new faces every now and then during new year time or before summer time. The place is relatively clean thou may need to work on dusting and cleaning the spider webs around the place

Expérience négative: Im genuinely so angry. Last summer, so a little over a year ago, I cancelled my subscription with them because I was going to be working in rural parts of South East Asia. The woman at their Vancouver location said everything was fine and that she would deal with it and had me leave, so I assumed everything was fine. I JUST received an email saying I owed them something like $250 and I was being sent to collections because my credit card was declining them which I found bizarre because I hadn't used my card in the period I have been out of country. Lo and behold, these guys had been charging me this entire time. The gym itself is okay, but their conduct and professionalism is abhorrent. Find a different gym who won't steal your money. DO NOT give them any of your financial information.

Expérience positive: I've been a member for about 4 years now. For the $20/month (provided you sign up for a year) it's pretty good. Since it's come under new ownership, the air conditioning has been turned down during the summer compared to before. So it's not the best place to escape the heat anymore, making workouts a little less enjoyable during the hotter days. One thing I would like to see is missing or broken equipment replaced a little faster. Some stuff just never seems to get fixed. Overall it's pretty good for the cost if you live close by. 24 hour access is good if you're into late night workouts.

There is good choice of pretty old but still usable equipment, crappy website and it can be closed on random holiday, that you will find out only upon getting there.

Expérience négative: AVOID THIS PLACE! I wish i could give zero stars!! I had a membership for many years and never used it. The gym is small, dirty and not inviting at all. I cancelled my membership and was told my last payment would be the next month (June) and that would be it. Then I get a call saying that they will be taking payments in July too. One payment for the annual yearly fee and then my monthly fee. This was not acceptable to me as I have been told all i need is 30 days to cancel and I have given way more than enough time. Called and spoke to one of the rudest ladies I have ever had to deal with. There was no resolution and no wanting to "keep" my business either. This place is desperate and obviously needs to keep taking money from people in order to stay in business.

Expérience fantastique: I signed up just 2 weeks ago and I'm excited to say that it's been great so far. I love the fact that everyone is nice, helpful, and friendly! My only wish would be for the spin bike to be a bit newer because the handlebar can't be adjusted. Protein shakes at the gym are yummy!

Expérience positive: so I've been with this gym now probably over 10 yrs and I love it before when they had staff keeping an eye on things, since they are now 24 hours, service haven't been the same, people are dropping weights like crazy, it's nerve racking a times, summer time now and it's so stuffy and hot even when they "say" air conditioning is on but it's very uncomfortable. the place smells like urine in the back area, not sure how often bathrooms are being cleaned. I'm hoping someone will read this review as I've been a long standing customer way before they turned it into 24 hours and it's too bad cuz I am really thinking of switching my membership. I miss Petra, she's awesome when she was there tending the gym when i went there but i don't see her anymore, hope things will shape up soon or I will definately ship out.

Dear Sabrina, Thank you for your review. First and foremost, Petra is still with the company and the manager at the gym. Her talent was underutilized when she was just working the morning shift hence the promotion to Manager during the days. She runs a pretty tight ship and has and continues to do wonderful things in the New West Gym. The air conditioner is on 24 hours and set at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and automated. As for the urine smell, I think it is more body odour than bathroom smell. Our bathrooms are up in front towards the front door. With two aircons in the middle, I don't think the urine smell could have travelled to the back area. Rest assure, I will notify Petra of this and make sure staff do a more thorough job in cleaning the bathrooms. Finally, as for dropping weights, we have terminated memberships because of dropped weights and noise issues. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you during your workout. Please let us know next time when someone drops weight and we will review our security cameras to rectify the issue. If there are any issues that you are not happy with, please do not hesitate to contact Petra at anytime.

I also did get a few sessions with a trainer Chelsie and she was great and very knowledgable, the staff is friendly and the gym is clean. I was surprised when I read the previous comments as there is also new management now, I haven't had any issues what so ever. 5 stars and great monthly price 20.00!

Expérience fantastique: I joined this gym after having been a member of almost every gym in New Westminster and Burnaby. This gym by far has the friendliest staff. There are bodies of all shapes and sizes. Diversity is important to me and this place has that. The equipment is clean and always in working order. It's not crazy busy but does have its peak times. I'm a morning person, it's not busy at 630 ! Not many droids, they are across the street :)

If i have any questions on fitness, the employees always are friendly and have time to answer them. i feel the facility is clean and kept tidy. I enjoy going in, doing my routine, all without waiting for any machines. Also the machines they have are fantastic for attaining my end goals. Jellybean

Expérience négative: Tried to leave several times and they kept charging my account. Eventually quit and was told i was paid up to date only to get a phone call saying i owed more charges and they would be sending the debt on to a collection agency. DO NOT JOIN BECAUSE THEY DON'T LET YOU LEAVE.

Expérience négative: I was a pretty happy customer and used to use the New West location which was fine. I then moved into Vancouver and used the location on 1st & Commercial. They have parking available. I renewed my parking and the girl upsold me for two years as their "parking rates were going up next week". I discovered that they had actually sold the place and that the parking permit wasn't even valid. A dirty trick to play on loyal customers. One star to add to their average due to dishonest business practices.

Expérience négative: This gym is old and worn down. The pipes in the ceiling are coming apart and held together by duct tape. The 35 lb weights are a different style from all the rest and are falling apart. The assisted chin up is only half functional because the top set of bars lost its plastic covering. I'd recommend any other gym if you can. It also doesn't make sense why they haven't repaired or replaced the equipment when they take an additional $20 annually for "repairs and replacements"
