Expérience négative: absolutely terrible management, speaks disrespectfully to workers at the front desk who were nothing but nice and great customer service and never values morals. i think the name was David, but he shouldn’t be in the position he’s in if he’s going to treat his subordinate that way. Owners should reconsider who they hire before putting them in position of power

Expérience négative: Worst Sales Experience Ever – Absolutely Avoid This Gym If you’re looking for a respectful, professional gym experience, avoid Fitness Connection at Don Mills at all costs. I went in with a friend just to learn about their pricing and plans, but what we got was the most uncomfortable, invasive experience ever. We were met by a sales rep named Fatima, who, from the get-go, came off as the most unprofessional judgmental person I’ve ever met. Instead of talking about membership options, she led us into a room and started asking overly personal questions, as if she were a personal trainer – which, for the record, she’s not. I’m not sure where she learned her customer service “skills,” but asking about our personal lives and judging our goals was way out of line. When my friend mentioned his fitness goals, she even questioned them, saying, “Are you sure that’s what you want?” Honestly, who does she think she is? Then she crossed another line, asking if what our relationship status is!!!!! I mean come on… After 30 minutes of nonsense, we still had zero idea about membership options. This was a colossal waste of time and hands down the worst gym experience ever. I wouldn’t wish talking to this person on my worst enemy. We’re definitely not joining, and I’d recommend anyone else stay away too.

Expérience négative: The equipment is great. Staff are friendly enough. The people that go here are trashy. No one wipes down the machine before or after use. People don't put their weights away. No gym etiquette. Staff don't really enforce any rules. Absolute free for all.

Expérience positive: Awesome gym, awesome staff but please guys, 1-2-3 pm is not a good time for bathrooms cleaning come on! It’s very annoying to deal EVERYDAY whit that.

Expérience négative: Inconsiderate and deceptive management. Told me that i would be able to freeze my membership whenever i wanted which was ultimately the reason i signed. It was not true and they did nothing to compensate for this, instead blamed everything on me. there are better gyms in the area, go check them out instead.

Expérience fantastique: From the continual professionalism of their staff to the stunning infrastructure of the gym itself, my family and I couldn’t have been happier! Shoutout to Asalq, Ash, Ruga, and Bethany as well! Not only has the gym been newly renovated but it is definitely worth the monthly membership as they offer such a wide multitude of services including personal training, access to the boxing room, a designated spinning area, and such. In summary, I would undoubtedly recommend this gym to my friends and family because of the hard-work and dedication from each and every one of their employees! 10/10 ⭐️

Expérience négative: I had a friend who was a past member signed for a 75 dollar monthly plan. When all of a sudden prices changed to 90$. Close friends/members with the club stayed at regular priceing yet my friend received an email saying all members from a certain time frame would be adjusted when clearly were not due to favouritism by the club.My friend then requested to cancel and said he was in a year term when he did not join for a year. He did eventually cancelled and joined LA fitness. He did rejoin momentarily for short period of time but than cancelled as he was longer satisfied

Expérience négative: Price is insanely high for a commercial gym that practically offers the same service LA & Goodlife provides. The website was misleading saying they are transparent with their prices but only to find out they request first and last payment. I don't know about you but no gyms do this.. That's double the price you pay plus the initial payment added along with that -as if I'm an untrusted tenant living in someone's home to live in. I asked them on the phone what more you offer that LA & Goodlife doesn't have and they told me that there isn't a lot of traffic flow in the gym and you don't have to wait for the machines. GUYS this happens all the time for every gym depending on what time you go. I'm sorry to say but I ended up signing up for LA because its price reasonable and a lot more benefits are offered compared to FC.

Expérience négative: Pros: I signed up for the 7 day/$7 trial to test the gym which gives you access to the FAST and Aerobics classes and open gym. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of SOTA equipment machines - they have everything you need. Front desk is really nice, helpful and professional. I called FC before joining to get a sense of their membership fees and spoke to a really nice girl who gave me the breakdown of their committal and non-committal plans which also has an annual enrolment fee. $75 or $85 plus enrolment fee of $69 and $99 (these prices are based on as of last week, they increased their prices now). The aerobics plans are affordable in my opinion because you get group classes (yoga, Pilates, spin, lower intensity sort of basic strength classes) plus your gym membership included in that. The FAST plan is $185 which gives you access to their “more” higher intensity. Cons: The FAST classes are not well structured and designed to really be “FAST” as FC describes it. It does not test agility, speed or strength; there are barely any plyometric exercises incorporated. The price of FAST does not justify the workout return. The aerobics classes are beginner to intermediate workouts. They have a class called Elite muscle conditioning and the name is misleading and confusing because you would think it’s an advance athletic conditioning class where you do deadlift, KB swings, sled push, split squats, lateral bounding etc but it’s a beginner strength class in a studio. I’m still scratching my head on that one! My biggest issue with this gym is there is an upfront first and last plus enrolment fee as if you’re renting. In my entire gym experience, I have never been asked to pay first and last membership fee it’s completely absurd and a money grab and that can make people turn away when you have to put down $400+ at once. There’s also no incentive for signing up, no towel service, no water, no tshirt. My advice is if you know how to workout alone and don’t need a lot of guidance just do the basic plan. Advice for FC management: remove first and last and enrolment fee if you care about your customers and want more people to sign up. Customers should not be obligated to compensate for your cash flow.

In fact, I took various actions to communicate with them by going in person, calling, setting up an appointment to talk to sales, then finally calling to make a complaint, but I was blocked at every turn. Now that is consistently bad customer service. I had a set phone appointment with Azar at the Don Mills location. He couldn't even bother showing up for the apt. I called him after sometime. I was told he would call me, but did not again. After an hour I called again and he lied to me about calling. NEVER showed up on my cell call display even though he had the right number. Honestly is better. Terrible customer service. I ended up joining LA Fitness instead. Thanks for no integrity or caring about signing up new customers.

Expérience fantastique: Nice place. Not too packed, good selection of equipment. They have a few services on-site such as massage and physio. They also have classes!

Expérience négative: I joined this gym before I used to love it, but lately they have gone down, they are trying to pack the gym like good life and La fitness, bringing in people that slam the weights and the machines, grunt and yell, it’s a shame because the gym has potential to be a good gym. Instead of packing it with people that clearly don’t care about the gym they should increase the rate and have quality not quantity, either the management cares only about numbers or the owners don’t care about there gyms. I know many other people that see the difference in the gym and they will leave as well as soon as there memembership ends. Hopefully he owners see this and do something before it’s to late. This is the donmills location.

Expérience fantastique: Man, I wish I had one of these in my home town. Well equipped gym, super friendly staff, CLEAN, and just an overall really cool vibe. I have an existing chain-membership gym but unfortunately the locations in this area are incredibly low quality and WAY over packed in comparison. Finding this gym was a godsend. I was given an in-depth tour, allowed to test out the facilities and had a great chat with their staff about membership options. Unfortunately, due to my schedule, I won't be able to attend as much as I'd like but for the times I can make it, this place is a real treat. The no-pressure membership sales process was a nice experience too. Ultimately I couldn't say no to this fantastic gym and signed up on the spot. I'm clearly terrible with names but the two staff members working the Tuesday evening shift were awesome, really cool people. Can't wait to return.

Expérience négative: Skilled scammers! Please do not believe what their workers, such as David, tell you and don't sign their contract without reading it first! You are lured and rushed into signing a contract without having a chance to read it. I was not told that I could not cancel personal training sessions when I was lured into signing their contract without reading it. Later on, when I sent two emails to cancel the training sessions and received no reply, I read the contract and noticed how I was scammed!

Expérience fantastique: Really impressive gym, with top of the line equipment for strength, cardio and HIT workouts, every toy you could ask for and a wonderful space for functional training too. Really nice staff and super clean and great value. Highly recommend everyone to check it out since the revamp, thanks everyone.

Expérience fantastique: We switched to this gym and we found it's a hidden gem! -Good location, inside of a plaza, lots of parking. -Newly renovated spa-like changing rooms; Equipments are new and always clean, they also offer small towels to wipe the equipments after use. -Not packed and noisy compared to our previous gym. Usually moderate traffic which is nice. -Staff and owner are super friendly!

Expérience fantastique: My favourite gym in Toronto! The owner is amazing, so kind, responsive and professional. He is involved often in the day to day and any questions I have he is supportive. The staff at the gym are kind as well. The gym looks beautiful, the renovations they have done make the gym look so modern and new, the equipment is high end too (Technogym)! The best part, it is not packed like other gyms, even when it is busy there is always a spot to workout. They are also always adding new classes, and the sauna is amazing. Overall, I love FC!

The specialized classes are a bonus for me, because the trainers are always giving you that extra push, help develop discipline so that when you’re doing your own workout you know your limits and can push yourself. Everyone there is very helpful and the gym isn’t crowded so you have access to the machines regularly.

Here are some of the reasons why: 1. It's great to walk into this gym after work and it's not packed. 2. Staff members are very helpful and they greet you as soon as you enter the gym (isn't that the sweetest!) 3. There is plenty of equipment and the gym is always very clean. 4. There are many different classes running throughout the week. 5. The trainers are amazing and they always make adjustments to workouts to accomodate every person. They really care about your form and technique. 6. Every class is new and fresh which keeps things exciting - it makes me want to go to the gym everyday! S/O Joanne, Tony, Linval, Aida, Mark 7. There is also physiotherapist, Mark on site and he is phenomenal. 8. The classes feel like a little community, Infact the gym feels like a little community. 9. The staff members are friendly, the members are friendly, and I always enjoy going there. It’s good for the mind and soul as well as for the physical benefits.

Expérience fantastique: The second reopening of the gym during the pandemic in 2022 is in place. Major renovations happened just before the pandemic and it's nice to see everything in place, including new machines. It's not been crowded and the equipment is readily available and very modern. I wonder why there are big televisions with no sound facing the weight machines. The screens on the cardio equipment have lost their connection to live TV (and there were only two stations) that used to be there. The place is five stars for the strength training equipment and cleanliness and 3* for the cardio because the equipment is still not completely set up. It's a fine place for exercise. There are no squash courts, swimming pools, or basketball courts, if that's what you want.

Expérience fantastique: Love this place. AMAZING equipment. Please don't change a thing. Techno gym equipment that are plate loaded are the best. So much better than machines with cables or bands. The equipment is the reason I have a membership here. Keep up the great work and don't listen to anyone who says the equipment here is old. It's not. It's actually the best. This place is great for proper fitness enthusiasts but could be a bit intimidating for the more casual yoga mom.

It was a well rounded program and the group was excited to come in every week. Great facility. Great team. Expérience fantastique: I have been doing the FAST classes since the end of January and have lost 10 lbs. Not only that, but I actually enjoy going to the classes. Great workouts, great trainers, and a lot of fun with the other members. I actually look forward to going to the gym now.

Expérience positive: Decent gym with old equipment. All the free weights stuff is really dated and old. They do have a Nice area for bootcamp style fitness (big tires etc). The price REALLY isn't competitive for what you get compared to other places. Also the staff and trainers aren't very friendly at all. I would recommend trying a few other places before joining here. Heard some horror stories while there also about billing issues etc. Either way. Cheers!!

The gym is always clean...the equipment is great and well maintained...the staff is helpful...and the trainers are so knowledgeable and are always challenging you. The members are so friendly...which also makes this place great...there will always be someone there to challenge you, spot you, or just have a friendly chat with. I would definitely recommend this gym. Also...the bootcamp classes are amazing...every class is different with a good balance of cardio and strength training. Great location, amazing staff and members, all the equipment you need and challenging classes when you feel like a group workout...everything you need!!

Expérience négative: The attendant cares more about her phone and the conversation on her phone than customers. She can't figure out pricing nor is she trying to be helpful. She talks down to you, gives 5 different prices, and can't figure it out so she goes back to her phone? Wasted my time and patience and then she is perplexed as to why I delevop a tone? Are you kidding me? You're here to do a job, not for fun times on your phone. If you don't like serving people, or find your personal conversations to be that important, you should stay home from work... Or just don't bother getting a job

Expérience négative: Total whacko running this joint. He poorly explained membership options to me so I asked if I could see the different options written out. He grunted his disappointment asked me why, then eventually gave me a binder. I asked him about the cancellation process because of all the reviewers here that have been scammed. At that point he accused me of being a reporter. If this is how he handles prospective customers imagine how he handles actual customers?

Expérience négative: To sign up for a gym membership you must go through a lengthy 1:1 sales pitch for personal training. If you sign up, they will not let you cancel without a fight. Avoid this place if you can.

Expérience positive: good classes and weights, some cardiovascular equipment quite old, lousy bikes unless you're in spin class
