Regardless that the employees there are so strict when it comes to hygiene and members safety but they are also very friendly. I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the Cartierville specially if you are looking for a 24/7 gym.

Expérience fantastique: Probably one of the cleanest Econofitness gyms I have been to. The machines are well maintained and up to date. No dust, no dirt laying around. Bathrooms are kept to standards on a daily basis and showers are in good condition. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Huge shoutout to the manager Julian, who makes the experience even better. I work out for myself and my mental health and this gym has a “home” feeling to it. Highly Recommended!

The cleanliness of the gym has improved since Julien Manager is here. He really is on top of everything, has passion for the clients and keeping gym clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. If all you care about is getting your workout in, this is the right gym for you Update: ever since Julien has been the manager, the gym has been cleaned and organized. If a machine breaks it now gets fixed quickly. Maybe even within a day or two. Changing review from 4 to 5 star.

You here have no respect. This is not the first time this has happened, especially with short black hair with the madam standing with her. Without morals. Shame, shame, shame. Expérience négative: Je suis client depuis l ouverture et j étais clients avant avec le compétiteur... Je suis vraiment déçu de la gestion du Gym... Les poids sont tous pêle-mêle, partout sur le sol... Personne ne ramasse même pas les employés. Les machines fixes manquent de vise et boulons. Plusieurs machines sont brisé ou le coussinets usé et désagréable lors de l entraînement... Peut être que les employés pourraient au lieu de jaser avec leurs chum s'occuper des gens qui laisse tomber les poids au sol, je comprend que le deadlift c est exigeant mais y en a qui exagéré.... En plus des poids qui tombent au sol ya le tiraillements de plusieurs écoliers.... Ca cours, ça se frappe ça crie... Très désagréable comme expérience.... La gestion est pas souvent la et parler au Staff ça passe dans le beurre alors à défaut de pouvoir parler à la gérance, je met c est quelques lignes ici. Je vais au gym pour les bien fait que ça m apporte, mais pour le côté relaxe après une journée de travail on repassera !!!! Je fini de travailler et je m envais à la garderie... Mais bon y en d autres gym ailleur hein ?!??

Expérience négative: Update: In the last 4 months since my last review, I can genuinely say that the quality of the gym has dropped significantly in many ways. The first being the fact that the gym is definitely not as clean as it used to be. Not even close actually. I don't see the janitor anymore, and I imagine that the company cut the contracts or something, but the hygene has definitely been subpar. I always seee dust bunnies between machines and it's not really something that makes someone be in the mood to workout. I like to have clean environments no matter where I am. The second thing is the repair times for broken machines: they use to repair machines in a week give or take. Now, it has been around a month that the bench press machine is broken... Still no replacement. It is one of the, if not, busiest machines in the gym and there are only 2 of them, so it is very frustrating to not be able to do an exercise while 5 people are waiting for 1 bench press during rush hours. Very disappointing. This has been a trend in the last couple of months. The chest flies machine broke, and it took them 3 weeks to repair it and now the cables machine is broken, and I don't even want to know when they'll fix it. That is also a very high traffic machine. The other thing is the quality of the machines and tools themselves. They haven't changed the accessories of certain machines which definitely require changing. The machine on which you can use different accessories for the tricep pull down still has the same worn down accessory from 2 years ago. They need to replace them since I wasn't the only one who noticed it. I talked with a couple of guys in the gym, and they all brought up that they need to replace them. In the last couple of months, my card has declined for NO REASON at every month. It is very annoying. I have changed my card, contacted my bank and there are no issues on my end. I have told the employees as well. Finally, an employee told me that she will let her boss know of it. It only took them a couple of months to realize that there is an issue with their system. And the last thing, the pricing has increased from 11.99$ to now I think they are bumping it to 14.99$ soon. I have no issues with bumping the prices since the cost of services increases with inflation and socioeconomical conditions. I understand that it's a business and that they need to make money. But, they have increased the price more than the inflation rate in the last 2-3 years. So it actually means that their profit margin is higher. I have no issues with that, but they have dropped their quality of service significantly to the point that I am considering looking at other gyms. They really need to step up their quality for me to consider renewing my annual contract this time. I have been thoroughly disappointed with how the upper management handles things. I hope that they fix these things in the following months, but for now, I sincerely cannot recommend new people to come to this gym any time soon. I am sorry to say that since I really use to love going to this gym. OLD REVIEW: I have been attending the gym for a little over 2 years now. The gym has been always well maintained. It is very clean, the staff is kind and there are a lot of machines. It does get hectic during rush hours, but that's to be expected for any gym, but people are very nice and are willing to work sets in to accommodate each other. I would recommend the gym to everyone.

Expérience négative: Worst gym experience. the people who goes there rarely cleans after themselves. More then once people were smoking and vaping in the lockers. You need to go ask for the employees to clean something because most of the time are busy socializing then actually doing something useful in the gym. One time a fight started and not a single employee went down to check what is happening. However, on closing time they are super fast in flashing the lights and telling everyone they should go. Never again!!

Expérience négative: Very weak A/C. During summer months, this small window-less basement gym is very muggy. Uncomfortable to work out with high humidity and warm temperature. Because of size, there are very few machines. Missing a lot of the basic machines, yet the few they do have, they often have 2 of for some reason. Staff quite mediocre. Not very friendly or helpful. Including some staff that vape in the lockeroom where they know there are no cameras to catch them lol.

Expérience négative: The manager there named Farah is very rude and impolite with the clients for no reason. She assumes things and talks back instantly without even listening to the client's needs. She has no customer service skills and I know lot of people who switched to the Econo in Côte Vertu because of her attitude and intrusive presence during your workout, and she always cuts you in the middle of your workout to make some useless comments.

Expérience positive: Le système d’accès au douches devrait être intégré à celui de l’entrée. Ceci épargnerait beaucoup de désagréments au moment de prendre sa douche. L’évacuation des eaux usées dans les douches est dégoûtante car tout en se lavant on peut voir l’eau usées des précédentes cabines coulées à nos pieds surtout si on prend la dernière cabine. Pour le reste tout est parfait: propreté, des machines modernes et faciles à utiliser, bonne atmosphère, sourires et courtoisie de la part des employés…

Expérience négative: Il s'agit du 3e Éconofitness auquel je m'inscris. Mon expérience est habituellement très positive. Comme à chaque fois, je réserve mon entrainement 15-25 minutes avant mon arrivée. J'ai une vie active, je ne planifie pas des heures à l'avance mon arrivée au gym. Cette fois-ci, mon accès ne fonctionne pas. L'employée me dit que que je dois réserver 1h à l'avance sinon je dois retourner chez moi. Je dis ok. "Did you hear me?" Me dit-elle sur un ton autoritaire et sec. Je m'explique mal comment une entreprise de cette ampleur ne peut se payer un meilleur système informatique capable de capter les réservations en temp réel. Surtout, je m'explique mal la réaction de l'employé devant un client qui n'était clairement pas au courant de ce caprice technologique. Finalement, pourquoi le client est-il blâmé? J'ai épluché la FAQ et je n'ai vu nul part oú il est spécifié qu'on doit réserver 1h à l'avance. Je comprends que le Covid ammène son lot de challenge, mais je m'attend à ce que les employés reste tout de même polis. Au moins c'est seulement 14$ par mois, mais parfois, "you get what you pay for".
