The instructors were incredibly supportive and made sure every kid, regardless of their skill level, felt confident and safe while learning the fundamentals of parkour. The environment was energetic and positive, keeping my son engaged and excited the entire time. He came home full of stories about all the new moves he learned and can't wait to go back! Expérience fantastique: Took my brother of 14 years old there for the teen class on Wednesday with Josh. My brother didn’t know anything about parkour and was a bit nervous at the beginning but Josh and the other classmates made him feel right home. Josh took the time to explain to him and encourage him to do stuff he had never done before. When the class finished my brother couldn’t be happier, we are definetly coming back next week. I recommend this experience to anyone that wants to try parkour. Thanks Josh.

If your child wants to take their playground experience to the next level, this is the place! Experienced coaches teach movement for all levels in a safe environment. Expérience fantastique: This is one of my favourite places in the world I have been training here for about 6-7 years now. It is more of a home to me than any of the places I have lived. The staff are all awesome friendly people. The coaches are world class and the community at the gym is the friendliest environment I have ever had the chance to be apart of.

Parkour is a sport that will change how you look at your surroundings in everyday life, and there’s no better place to train that then at Origins Parkour. I have been going here for just under 8 years now and it has been one of the most positive aspects of my life. The coaches are all very friendly and well informed in their field, and the community is very welcoming to people of all skill levels and ages. If you ever have felt the need to try something new that gets you active and out there, give parkour a try.

Expérience négative: Talked on the phone about pricing told them im on my way with my 7 year old. Arrived was told we had to wait until 2 which was 2 hours from then already payed for parking. Then spoke to me in a condisending tone like it was my fault Terrible customer service and communication thanks for nothing

Expérience fantastique: Definitely not the sport for everybody (i.e. injury prone) but even with the risk the instructors do a very good job keeping you safe while being encouraging and pushing you to try new things I did the tricking classes and learned to do a back/front/side flip and it felt nice seeing me do stuff I didn't think I could accomplish. The space is soft and even if you fall it doesn't hurt too much (pending where), and the foam pit is really fun to launch yourself into. I don't feel safe or confident using what I learned outside, but inside Origins I have no problem

Expérience fantastique: Couldn’t be happier with this gym. Have yet to meet anyone that isn’t nice and doesn’t help out. So much of my progress can be accredited to the people at the gym. And I’m not talking just about the instructors (who are amazing btw). This is truly a cultural hotspot for the sport. Big ups!

Expérience positive: Our 9 yr old is liking kids Origin Parkour classes. All kids classes are beginner friendly, so anyone in the age group can participate. Kids get optionally tested for various 'band' levels (similar to martial arts belt colours) if they want to participate in higher level classes. Seems the basic classes tend to be quite full with drop in filling up the spots by several days before the class. There are session classes that go for a term, but other classes are generally offered weekly, which you can either pay by the month for weekly classes of your choice or pay per drop in. Everyone is welcome. It's pretty cool, only that they cannot easily maintain social distancing in full classes.

Expérience fantastique: If you want to learn and practice Parkour at any age, this is the place to go! This is where my kids and I started Parkour many years ago and I'm so tanksful that this gym existed! Every member of the staff is fantastic, professional, really nice, extremely knowledgeable and pioneers in this sport. Each class I attended is always fun and helped me improve my technique and meet other people sharing the same passion for Parkour. On top of that, the gym is actively involved in the Parkour community and organize regular events and worldwide recognized competitions as well as weekly jams to allow people to get together and practice Parkour in a urban environment.

Expérience fantastique: If you're interested in trying out parkour, this is definitely the place to do it! It's a huge space with lots of permanent and moveable structures that you can jump on, run, stride, climb, swing, roll, vault over, etc. Not only is the facility amazing, but all the coaches are also very good at teaching based on your level of skill and comfort. There are a variety of lessons both for kids and adults, so you can try out what you like. The gym attendants are also very kind and helpful in providing tips when you need it. They also have good cleaning protocols in place, and currently because of covid they are also restricting the number of people in the gym at a given time. I had my very first parkour lesson here about 6-7 years ago and have never looked back :)

Every since he’s joined Origins 3 years ago, he’s been enjoying every single class and always looks forward to going. He’s really bonded with the amazing instructors and made good friends. I cannot thank Origins enough for helping Denis develop the love for Parkour and keeping active. I always recommend Origins to everyone who has active kiddos.

Expérience fantastique: I love Origins Parkour!! I started training there a year and a half ago. I've taken Tricking and Intro to Flips classes regularly as well as the occasional Parkour class. On my first day I was so nervous as I walked up the stairs towards the door, but as soon as I entered I was welcomed by a staff member at the front desk. All the staff and clients are all so kind and encouraging that I soon felt right at home! The coaches are great and give a lot of specific personal feedback so I was able to progress and learn skills that I never imagined I'd be able to do. I feel very lucky to have faced my fears because Origins is not only an amazing place to train, but also an incredible community of athletes of all levels, supporting each other!

Expérience positive: Attended Summer camp. This gym is clean, well organized. Only concern is “supervisions” during open practice. Kids get excited too much and staff and instructors are busy with other tasks. My child enjoyed so much. I recommend this place for active kids.

Expérience fantastique: I visited Origins Parkour to watch my grandchildren practice. It looked like they were having a lot of fun and the trainer was very patient with the children. I especially loved the big murals that are on the walls. Excellent messages of the evolution of Consciousness, if you can believe that. :)

Expérience fantastique: The best Parkour gym I have been in North America. It is a big place with a lot of options and classes. The NAPC event is one of the most important competitions. It was worth going from Brazil.

Expérience fantastique: Two of their staff (Liam and Tom... or at least I think it was Tom) did several session at the school where I teach. They brought in the equipment and delivered awesome and engaging instruction to the kids. Even the normally non-participants were keen to try everything the guys instructed. Very professional, yet fun, people. Couldn't have had a more positive experience.

Expérience fantastique: Had a really great experience here. The owner is really chill and its a safe and friendly environment. I was planning to do a day pass to just check it out but I bought the monthly pass on the spot instead. It has most, if not all, equipments to try out the different variations in parkour tricks and set ups. You can set up the blocks in so many ways and it's definitely a great place to try your thing out. People are very friendly and nice so you don't have to worry about being judged. It also offers lessons on parkour and tricking for those who are interested in picking up a new hobby, mastering a certain trick, or wanting to learn new things. The possibility is endless. I'm definitely looking forward to using my membership to its fullest extent and I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is interested in this kind of activity.

Expérience négative: I am very disappointed by this place as an incident occurred earlier this week about parking and poor managing skill from manager Derek. First time coming to this facility and I am asking one of their employee Jaxcson about the parking situation where he specifically told me that I could park anywhere as long as I have their pass on my dashboard and not in a reserved sign. Not only once this have been asked but twice by my other friend to make sure that we don’t have any problem. Also to keep in mind that no sign in their establishment is showing or directing customer to the back parking lot. I got a parking ticket due to the assumption of their employee Jacxson that I was supposed to know that their parking lot is in the back. Sent an email to their manager and this is the most unacceptable and unreasonable response. In short: “Hi Alex, I'm sorry to hear about that miscommunication. I spoke with Jaxon and he is sure now to clarify where our private lot is. While I apologize for the miscommunication and inconvenience, I'm unable to compensate you for the ticket -- you may have to try your luck with the City of Vancouver, as I heard you do get 1 freebie a year for parking ticket incidents. I hope this doesn't dissuade you from training here, as parking remains free for patrons in the lot behind the building “ Even after acknowledging that it was his employee mistake and miscommunication Derek will not compensate my parking ticket nor any kind of compensation but ask me to go to the City of Vancouver and do the legwork myself to ask for a freebie? What kind of customer service is that? This is ridiculous and shows how poor of managing and customer service skills this place has.
