Expérience négative: Not honest owners that run this place. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. If you are a lady this gym at night time is the scariest thing ever with no workers around. Many times when you’re alone with all men in the gym it’s quite scary esp when you’ve had scary encounters. This gym is better off if you are a guy.

Expérience fantastique: This was my first experience using a public gym ever. And, David and Jack both made sure that i was comfortable. I took PT classes from David and those are worth the time and money as well. I am only leaving the gym because I am moving to a new neighborhood but truly, this gym made me want to take care of my physical and mental health. It's a 24 hour gym, and is never too busy. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. 10/10 experience.

Expérience fantastique: After training here extensively for the past year, I can confidently say this is the best gym I have ever been to in Ontario. As a snowboarder competing globally, maintaining fitness at home is crucial. Finding a facility with high-quality equipment, ample space, and good value for money has always been challenging. I've been a member at LA Fitness, Movati, and various private gyms, but none match the quality of this gym. No matter the time, I have never seen any mess, misplaced equipment, or dirty floors. The bathrooms are always spotless, which is rare at other facilities. The reserved parking is a huge plus, especially in winter, with a clean, plowed lot and clearly marked spaces for gym members. Equipment is kept in top condition, and any issues are resolved quickly. As a private gym, I appreciate the high expectations set for members, fostering a friendly and responsible community. The emphasis on taking care of equipment, respecting each other, and pushing oneself in a safe, judgment-free atmosphere is invaluable. This gym is truly a hidden gem, conveniently located just off the 404 and accessible by transit. They create a positive, welcoming, non-judgemental environment, allowing everyone to THRIVE. I also had some personal training sessions with David, and he was always attentive to what I expressed as my goals from the sessions (proper form and use of equipemt to learn to be independentin the gym).

Expérience fantastique: We've been members for multiple years back when they were in their old Markham location and in their new and larger facility. I've been working out for over 20 years now and this is easily one of the best gyms I've been a member of. Very large, clean and spacious; the equipment is good quality and well maintained; and there's no funny business with their month-to-month memberships. Although I'm not much of a night owl, I also appreciate that it's 24x7 keycard access which saved me from having to rush workouts that were a little later. If you're in North Toronto or Markham, I would highly recommend you check them out!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve joined Snap fitness since this summer. It’s a well organized and professional workout space that provide every level of your fitness need. They have very complete equipment from weight to cardio, also functional areas for boxing, yoga stretching etc. I like they have full mirrors from every angles, everything is clean and shine. The gym can be easily accessed for 24h, any time of the day by key bob, so I can manage my workout at own pace, but if you need anything there always someone pickup your phone call and reply your emails on the day. I like the people who come to this gym are serious about workout and caring the environment around.

It’s also cheaper than the other snap fitness locations (around $40 a month). They have lockers, a change room and washrooms. Nice variety with machines and they’re all fairly new.

Expérience négative: Just a poor experience unfortunately. I went to this location to sign up for a fitness membership, ready in my fitness wear. The entrance was locked, I had to wave down the snap fitness employee to open the door. Upon opening the door, he asked him how he can help me - I asked if I can sign up to the gym with a membership - he replied, come back another time. This confused me, I asked him if the facility is only for personal training or also for independent fitness training - he replied it’s everything. The employer was refusing my access into the facility, without letting me know why I can’t sign up. At that point I said okay I’ll return later if that’s okay to register, but in the mean time would it be alright that I use the washroom - he then proceeded to accuse me of only wanting to use the washroom and that I had no intention of signing up to the gym (which is not the case). Very odd behavior from him and definitely it you go about getting new members to your gym. I would never step foot in any snap fitness again, and Snap should do a better job of customer service.

Ample space for you to engage in your private workout sessions. 3 power racks with ample weights. It is just next to a indoor basketball court. Wide selection of cable attachments to hit every angle of your muscles. Everything is brand new and staff that works tirelessly to ensure every workout is pleasant and chill. He often says that I am a good student, but I think he is very good at teaching, because it was just five short classes, he focused on giving theoretical knowledge points so that I could exercise myself in the future. Then, although this gym is small, it has everything you need. Overall, I am very satisfied. David, please buy the space next to it then make shower rooms! (just joking lol)

Expérience négative: The black guy name Adam is literally the male Karen. I've worked out at Planet Fitness before, I know a stupid rule when I see one. Not allowing people who workout to use the app hands free? Sometimes both of their hands are busy, and the headphone might not available, he'd give you hard time for that, it sounds like he just makes rule so it can please him, cause I couldn't see anybody literally from anywhere (not just this gym) get offended beside him, dude's going through a power trip. Me and my friends won't renew our memberships there.

Never any difficulties finding a close parking space and the gym is rarely overly busy, so you can focus on your workout. I would certainly recommend!

Expérience négative: Had a pass at another snap fitness location, when I tapped to enter I was already getting changed when staff rudely told us to leave. It clearly says on the website that we are allowed to go to other locations with a membership, but when we asked about this, they replied with “yeah, no. “ and kicked us out of the gym. My experience was definitely ruined and this incompetent staff member did not even hear us out when we tried to explain. The difference in what the owner said compared to your response here is that he kicked us out right away and said day passes were not available without giving us the opportunity to sign the waiver for non members. You cannot disagree that we were simply under the assumption that members could visit other locations (AS IT SAYS ON YOUR WEBSITE) yet we were treated rudely and almost as intruders, and that the owner could have handled the situation with more respect for us and calmly. You say that we need to respect your staff, but where is the respect for your clients? When we went to another further Snap Fitness Location, the owner calmly listened to our situation and offered a sincere explanation, and accepted the day pass payment. Why is there such a vast difference in service between two locations of the same brand?

Expérience fantastique: I have going to this gym for nearly 5 months now, and I can say that my experience has been great. The price is affordable, the staff (Jack and David) are friendly and helpful, and the environment and the people within it are understanding. There is also a variety of machines and equipment. I have been doing personal training lessons with David and I highly recommend anyone who is first starting at the gym, as he provides you with correct form and exercises that you can build upon through practice later in life. All and all, this gym is a nice place and kept clean as well!

It's very well kept and David is as professional and fair as a gym owner can be. If you're looking for a place to train that is clean, respectable and full of polite patrons, look no further!

However, just like most locations, one of the worst part about this gym is the no loud noise policy. This means no dropping weights.. "because the neighbors will complain." No making too much noise... "because the neighbors will complain." It's unfortunate but it is what it is.

Expérience fantastique: Discovered this gym during the pandemic and I'm so glad I did. The people who work here are super nice and considerate and I always look forward to coming here. One of the workers named Jack is especially sweet as he helps me with any questions I have or re-racking the barbells. This location also has all the equipment you would need and is constantly getting sanitized so i feel very safe especially during covid. I highly, highly recommend this gym as it's more low-key so there aren't too many people at a time!

Expérience fantastique: Hi! I was looking for an ideal gym not too far from my house (as I am new here). I had a word with Jack, who is the co-ordinator at the Thornhill Centre. He asked me to drop by and have a look around! I was really impressed by the facilities at this Gym and the way Jack made me feel comfortable. The gym looks great, is extremely clean and the management & members follow the rules judiciously. Not more than 10 people are allowed at any given time. It's great to stay fit and enjoy life. I truly believe Snap Fitness gives us this opportunity to be fit during these testing times. A special thanks to Jack for being such a positive and respectful person!
