Expérience positive: The gym itself is pretty decent. The staff can definitely brush up on their communication and customer service skills, especially the red head woman. I went in for a walk in 15 minutes before the staff leaves and she turned me back saying that I need to finish my work out by the time the staff leaves (in 15 minutes). This was not communicated to me by the other guy that works there, I was told to come in anytime before 7. Despite me being there and ready to pay for the drop in the I was turned away by the red head woman. Anytime fitness definitely needs to look into how to train their staff!

Expérience négative: It took the manager 15 days, and 2 emails to respond to a message. Spend your money elsewhere if you want a gym with professional leadership. There was something written on the wall about community, nothing about stonewalling.

Expérience négative: HILARIOUS - THESE PEOPLE WANT $240 for a 1-month paid in full gym pass, ( $100 GYM PASS COST then ADD ANOTHER $60 ENROLMENT FEE then ADD ANOTHER $60 FOB ACTIVATION FEE then ADD TAXES so you’re looking at $220 PLUS TAX) almost $250 for a 1-MONTH gym pass. Absolute joke, go elsewhere. UPDATE: to respond to the Owners remarks below desperately backpedaling due to receiving this 1-star review. I do appreciate your prompt reply in efforts to paint the picture of me being the villain here. I happily inform you at no point in that phone call was I rude, although I’m apologetic that she was saddened by my lack of enthusiasm to get bent over by comical add on charges. I recollect us indeed having a pleasant phone call - leading to the denouement in which I said (surely with a stark frustration in my voice) “no I’m good thanks, that is a absolutely ludacris amount of money to charge for a 1-month paid in full gym pass.” And she said okay have a good day and we both hung up on each other.

The club here in west K is by far the cleanest, nicest, and has the best / newest equipment and is well staffed and managed. If you’re looking for join a club, start here - you won’t be disappointed. Expérience fantastique: Started at this gym a few years back the reviews were awful but it was close by. The gym definitely wasn't the greatest, equipment was always broken could never really get any answers to my questions about membership, staff didn't seem to really acknowledge you when you came in or when you left etc. Fast forward to 2024 gym ownership changed hands and what a difference! Pretty much all of the gym equipment and cardio replaced with new updated equipment, freshly painted, flooring replaced and the best part of all, I think, is the staff. Paige greets you with a smile when you come in and when you leave. She's been extremely helpful and is always pleasant. I know to some people it might not be a huge deal if someone says hi or bye when you leave but being in the customer service industry for over 35 years you always want your customers/clients to feel welcome and appreciated and she definitely checks that box! Would highly recommend this gym.

Within the last year the major renovation and improvements made to this gym has been incredible!!! All brand new cardio equipment, machines, and many add on equipment that the gym was lacking. Expérience positive: Love the gym overall, am a newer patron and I'm excited to have flexibility of "anytime" while I get back to the gym after quite some time. I know that this location is recently under new ownership, and I'm noticing since the switch the cleanliness is really lacking. On multiple occasions I've been in mid-morning and the washrooms/showers are filthy, or there's no toilet paper and no staff to disuss this with yet. I also don't love the disposable wipes... they are wasteful and dry out quickly. I hope it's just growing pains as I love tgat it's whenever I need and close to home.

Expérience fantastique: This place is going to be special. The owner, G, knows his business and he's going to turn this gym into the best franchise in the Okanagan. I have no doubt. I trained as a high-performance basketball player when I was young, and there seems to be a nice combination of athletic training equipment and just pure bodybuilding. I want to get some more Weightlifting platforms, though.

Expérience fantastique: I've been coming here for years and it feels like home. In the last few, things have definitely been slipping. The general upkeep of machines and cleanliness of the gym as a whole really started to decline. I know that the previous owner suffered some major health setbacks not sure what they were but I wish him well. Went in today to get back on the health train after a bit of a hiatus and met the new owner, he was a bright new face and very helpful. they had a ton of staff there getting things done and making some big changes, it's a happy sight to see. Can't wait to see the finished product! Thanks for getting our other home back to where it should be :)

Been going to this gym for years so I already love the facility, but after discussing with him the new upgrades and changes he’s bringing to the table I’m even more excited about this place. Expérience négative: Morbidly overpriced and doesn’t show the information on the website. Very untransparent with a rediculous sign up fee/fob fee of over 100 dollars. Memberships are 100 a month and the facility is tiny

Expérience négative: Awfully expensive for a tiny gym. $41.99 biweekly for a student is absurd. Been trying to cancel following a 1 year contract, yet they still want an extra 2 payments. Even though the contract is OVER they need 30 days to cancel apparently. What a joke. Do not recommend

Expérience négative: Awful gym, super small space and poor customer service. Wasn’t offered a free trial like most others. I signed a year membership and I’ve been trying to cancel it for two months but no one will respond. Way too expensive for how small it is and poor service. Not happy at all

Expérience négative: Tried a week pass here and I have to say not really impressed. There’s a few things to list as to why i feel this way, firstly not near enough equipment ! Like one of each type of bench and one cable machine thats insane when you have a full gym , equipment they have though is good quality. Second is the poor staffing hours 11am - 7 pm is abysmal, and then we have have the third problem and that’s the exorbitant monthly membership fee of $70. Which in itself wouldn’t be that bad if it were attached to a larger facility with more equipment/ better staffing hours. Can’t say I can justify that monthly fee when compared to other bigger gyms in town that offer all the above and better monthly rates.

Expérience négative: Honestly just do yourself a favour and do NOT go here. For the price there is a way better 24/7 option in West Kelowna that is much more worth it and any extra time to get there. The equipment is very minimal with machines are often broken for months at a time. The facility is always disgustingly dirty as they only have their staff do some very basic cleaning and don’t contract out to anyone professional. During my time as a member there was no upgrades done to the facilities although they collect a biannual fee for this. They change staff every other month because clearly they are a terrible employer to work for. Spend your money at a gym that actually cares about its member's and providing a clean and well maintained facility that they actually have pride in and treats their staff well. 0 stars. Oh and bonus the fob they make you buy in the beginning for access isn’t refundable.. way to contribute to killing the environment

Expérience négative: Bully gym. Used it for 7 day trial as I'm new to kelowna. Returned my fob. Unfortunately lost my bank card during that week so I had to get a new one/new number. They refused to return my deposit on fob because they "only return deposit to original card" as per company policy. Brutal. Tried to work out them returning my money. Refused over and over. Theft. Straight up stole my deposit in an effort to make me join. Brutal tactics from a large gym. And great way to tarnish the reputation . Horrendous customer service. Refused to make situation right.

Expérience négative: For a gym that charges more than double other gyms in the area, I expect everything to work. I have unlimited suntanning BUT the bed had been broken for over a month. Fix the GD bed already.

Expérience négative: Multiple pieces of machinery is always broken. The leg press has been broken since the summer and still not fixed/replaced. The cardio machines are constantly breaking down, I can’t remember the last time when there wasn’t a single cardio machine broken. This is one of the most expensive gyms in the okanagan and it doesn’t feel like they care about the members.

Expérience fantastique: If you're looking for a personal trainer, Archer @ Anytime West Kelowna is phenomenal! I've had a significant amount of PT's in my life, yet none got down to the foundational basics of posture, form and alignment like Archer has. He has a contagious energy, he's detailed, fun, and has the education to boot. We've had three sessions together so far and I can absolutely already say he's the best trainer I've worked with to date. Run, don't walk!
