Expérience fantastique: We recently held our company Holiday Party at Mayfair West and everything was a huge success. Robert was a pleasure to work with. He and his staff delivered delicious food and helped to create the perfect environment to accommodate 40 people for presentations and games. Afterwards we were lead in fun and interactive pickleball activities and games lead by Ken, Melissa & Dave. Most of the participants were new to the game and there were definitely some ready to commit to further playing after a fun filled afternoon. Definitely a great place for parties!

Expérience négative: As a new resident in the neighborhood, I was excited to find a local gym to establish a fitness routine and build connections. After hearing about May Fair Clubs from several neighbors, I decided to check it out. However, my experience was far from positive. After multiple visits, I was informed that only the sales manager, RJ, could facilitate new memberships or day passes. When I finally got in touch with RJ, I was surprised to learn that they do not offer guest or day passes. Instead, he informed me that the only way to see the gym was to accompany an existing member—an impractical option for someone new to the area with limited connections. RJ later mentioned a 10-day trial, but only after purchasing a one-year membership. Essentially, I would need to commit to a full year and pay upfront before even getting the chance to try the facility. This rigid and non-transparent policy felt more like a sales tactic than a genuine customer experience. If you're considering a gym in North York, I would strongly recommend exploring other options like Columbus Centre, Lioness Women Club, Driftwood Community Center, or Bayview Tennis Club. These alternatives offer more flexible and customer-friendly approaches.

Expérience fantastique: Really nice gym and facility to come to. Change rooms are really nice. Can only speak about the men's changeroom. They got sauna, steam room, and a Hot tub. They have towels for when you are working out, to coming out of the shower, and to even dry up your feet. A lot of great amenities. They do have a nice bistro restaurant inside, however I do wish the hours were longer. They got tons of indoor Tennis and pickleball courts. Workers and employees are really nice. As well as warm welcoming.

Expérience fantastique: We have been members as a family, at Mayfair West for a number of years and find the club immaculate and members very friendly. The staff is truly outstanding as our kids have participated in a number of sports and camps. The swimming and aquatics at Mayfair West is particularly outstanding, largely due to the Deziree Teixeira who routinely goes above and beyond in ensuring all of the swim programs are run smoothly and efficiently. Deziree is not only a knowledgeable and skilled instructor herself but also manages the aquatics program with a great deal of care and diligence. Always approachable and responsive, Deziree is a huge asset to Mayfair West.

Expérience fantastique: Services are back to pre pandemic levels. Avoid Chesswood due to massive construction on that roadway. Access via Sheppard West.

Expérience fantastique: So glad we decided to join. So far all the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful.

Expérience fantastique: My favourite Mayfair location. Plenty of courts, friendly staff and made some great friends attending the classes. Also clean and only functional hot tub for men members at all locations.

Expérience positive: When are the going to do something about the flies, right at the entrance and lobby , you have to have Bugs spray to keep them away. Many times I have to walk out to get peace and what is supposed to be a clean place.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent facilities for tennis and gym.

Expérience négative: There are no customer service. No one answer your mails and phone calls. You have to wait more than a week for a simple request which is not guarantee to be done.

Expérience fantastique: Fun club for tennis. Squash scene gone but you can hear people grunting and BAAAAPing pickleball. Kindof like Monica Seles on testosterone, fun! An excellent but expensive program for developing young players. If you book about a week in advance you can get a time you like.

Expérience fantastique: Great experience, good gym equipment, nice amenities. When and if considering a membership ask for RJ he has been amazing.

Expérience fantastique: The gym is filled with all types of weights and machines, liked the pool and tennis courts too.

Expérience négative: This is a dysfunctional organization which has no security measures in place. I went there on Feb 15th as a guest as my friend highly recommended and I wanted to give it a try as it looked like a highly reputable place. After a 1 hour class, we went to locker rooms to realize my Birkenstock shoes and jacket was missing, where everything else remained. The reception did not take any steps and didn't actually know what to do. I left the gym barefoot without tank top on a winter day. Follow up was 6 days after the incident. Nothing was reported to the police and no actions were in place for the incident. They didn't even bother to check the cameras, noting it would be difficult. They didn't report to the police because they said it was petty theft. No actions to rectify the issue at all. On the day of, I left the gym barefoot without a coat on and I was not offered anything. They may not be responsible for stolen items but this club has no proper security measures and their customer service is bare minimum. If you want to spend $700 initiation fee and pay $ 107 monthly to be treated like this, definitely do become a member.

Expérience négative: Was a member for 3 years due to Covid restrictions ( vax pass ) I wasn’t able to go there . Meanwhile while everyone was at home and scared, i was the only one going and working out in the gym . Ridiculous policies and still discriminate over non vaccinated people. In the end, lost my business forever and my word of mouth . Bye bye forever

Expérience négative: I had a tour of the facilities and everything looked great. The PT/agent who did the tour was awesome too. I was given the rates for initiation fees (which is understandably high) for the Platinum package. A few days later, I was given a call by the agent saying the prices are going up from 1 August and for now, I can $200 off the initiation fees. Still a bit high, so I decided to skip. Then I received an email a few days later offering me $500 off if I enrol in July before the fees go up on 1 August. So I call to finally invest in this still-high-for-me membership which I need to be able to play tennis all 4 seasons. I am told the offer means the prices will go up by $500 in August, and if I enrol now, I would be paying $500 less. A bit offended to say the least at this ugly marketing ploy that put me off altogether. Hence, the 1-star for their marketing and not the facilities or the agent.

Expérience négative: Very disappointed in this gym I am a member for 3 years now due to Covid restrictions ( health pass ) I wasn’t able to go there ( peoples personal choice right ?!), after March first the won’t change their policies and still discriminate peoples choice , this is ridiculous!

Expérience négative: Mayfair is currently engaged in a fraudelent activity against its members like no other fitness club in Canada. Same as other clubs, Mayfair stopped operating on March 15 due to the pandemic, and up until now they have provided zero services except access to the tennis courts. No fitness, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant, basketball, squash, yoga, massage, personal trainers, showers, restaurant, no even access to locker rooms. At the same time, they’ve been charging FULL membership fee to all members. The word is that mastermind behind this fraudulent scheme is Melissa Raghura. CEO. Make sure to call her and demand your memership fee refund from March to August, as it’s been charged illegally. If enough people calls, perhaps the common sense prevails, and they provide the refund. Otherwise, stay tuned for class action lawsuit!...

Expérience positive: Nice club, but hours are not good for a club with such a high cost. Summer hours close at 10pm on some nights. That means you got to be off the floor earlier then that. Not flexible hours. A gym should be open late. The club needs to work around your schedule not you around theirs. Some positives it that it is clean, good environment, pool, tennis and staff.

Есть хорошо оборудованная раздевалка для смены одежды до или после тренировки...да и ресторан я бы сказал повара готовят вкусно и профессионалы своего дела... Хочу сказать огромное спасибо всем работникам Mayfair Clubs за отличную работу... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Рекомендую посетить, нам с друзьями понравилось...

Expérience positive: Clean and well managed. They just finished upgrading their fitness room and it's first class. The tennis courts are really nice. The restaurant comes in handy. There is plenty of free parking out front.

Expérience positive: A good gym that is clean and spacious. Nice amenities and decent food and smoothies. The men's locker area is amazingly big and includes a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, locker/executive members locker area. Lacks 5 stars because the gym is undergoing renovations, so it is in the tennis courts 1 and 2. Also, depending on the staff member making a smoothie, the smoothies can be very terrible in taste/look ( Strawberry Twist ). You should try the Energy smoothie, as they always make it look and taste proper. Directions from Downtown : Take Gardiner from York to Jameson. Take Jameson to Queen St. Take Queen St/The Queensway to Sunnyside. Take Sunnyside to High Park Blvd. Take High Park Blvd to Parkside. Take Parkside to Bloor ( continued as Keele Street north of Bloor ). Take Keele to St Clair ( continued as Weston Rd North of St Clair ) Take Weston Rd to Black Creek. Take Black Creek/Hwy 400 to Hwy 401. Take Hwy 401 to Keele. Follow the signs for " Keele St ". Take Keele to Sheppard Ave West. Take Sheppard Ave West to Chesswood. Take Chesswood 'till you see the signs for Mayfair. Park, and there !

Expérience fantastique: Where to start? Massive, all the equipment you could ask for, great classes, valet parking, free towel service, free toiletry products for showering, two studios, that when not in use can basically be your own. Simply the best.
