Expérience fantastique: The best and only economic gym in the whole town of Victoria. I have a Black Card membership whose every buck is worth it because of the amenities I get with it.

Expérience négative: It used to be a great gym but it's becoming really bad! It's not well maintained anymore, nor clean. Plus the management has no notion about how to clearly communicate with the members. They just take random decision making you feel like you're not at all valued as a customer, very disappointing!

Expérience négative: I've had multiple negative experiences with the staff at this location. They are often rude, unprofessional, and spend time talking to their friends while the front desk goes unattended. Because of this, I canceled my gym membership along with four others.

Expérience positive: Nice a wide open with lots of machines, even with 30 people inside it doent feel that packed. There are lots of cardio machines and massage chairs. With extras like tanning.

Expérience fantastique: Overall a very vell run gym, the manager of this place deserves a raise. Despite pretty heavy volume of people working out here, it's the cleanest gym I've experienced in Victoria, and I've been working out for over 35 years. I also love that the ceilings are high and it never feels or smells stuffy, even in peak hours.

Expérience positive: Overall this gym is solid. The business model is based on low prices/high volume of memberships so can get very busy at peak hours (ie. after work). Some pieces of equipment have been broken for months. I understand if parts are required/etc.. but several cardio/resistance machines have been unusable for 5+ months which is unacceptable. Internet has not been accessible for more than 4 weeks as of this review. All we have been told by staff is that "corporate IT" is aware. The local staff have advised they have no ability/authority to restart the router. I appreciate technical and equipment issues occur but when customers are paying for these things, there needs to be more urgency in fixing them!

Expérience positive: For such a low-priced gym, Fit4Less has quite a lot to offer. It's got all your standard machines, loads of dumbbells, TRX, and equipment for warmup/cool down, stretching, abs and cardio. It also offers massage/hydro massage chairs and self tanning, as well as change rooms and showers. In my opinion it is short on squat racks (four squat racks, which are all in the "black card" area, plus two Smith machines and a nautilus "freedom rack") and linear leg presses (there seems to always be a wait for most lower body machines, in fact). There is also often at least one piece of equipment that is out of commission, often for considerable periods of time, which can be frustrating. The gym can, of course, be quite busy at peak times, so just be prepared to have to spend a bit of time lurking around equipment you're waiting on (or get comfy asking to work in etc!). All of this being said, considering how little you pay to be there, I would absolutely recommend this gym.

Expérience négative: I had an account here before until my account was compromised by a scammer so I went in to talk to them to see if they could just wait or fix my account since it lapsed. They said there's nothing they can do. They won't waiver the joining fee. I have tried to sign up twice now once online once at the kiosk, I have paid the fees to join and the stupid QR code that they give me doesn't work. It will not let me in the gym. It will not give me a card at the card reader and nobody answers their phone or is at the gym so that I can get in and talk to them, how many times do I have to pay to reactivate my membership here??

Expérience positive: Budget gym - has almost everything you can ask for. It does get busy at peak hours but that’s to be expected.

Expérience négative: Low cost gym, with low standards of upkeep for equipment. If you walk in and see equipement you want to use but its broken don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon (months if ever).

Expérience négative: I recently visited this gym and I have to say, it's a total scam. First, you pay $21 just to get in the door. Once inside, you quickly realize that all the essential workout machines are locked behind another gate that requires an additional fee to access. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. For the price, you'd expect at least basic access to equipment. Save your money and find a gym that doesn't nickel and dime you at every turn. Very disappointing experience.

Expérience négative: Went to check out the gym in person, get a feel for the environment and workers. The workers were ere too busy talking to their friends, I rang the doorbell 3 times before they acknowledged me at the gates to get in. I explained I wanted to check out the gym, and look around. The worker gestured for me to look around, a coworker of his came to the desk and was trying to get his attention. I was annoyed, stopped talking and the worker just stared at me. I explained that his coworker wanted to interrupt so I was going to wait. The worker (who was too busy chatting to his friend) waved his coworker off and said don’t worry. They both spoke quietly and not clearly. I had to raise my voice for them to hear me and they didn’t try to talk clearly for me. I explained I wanted someone to show me around, so I can get their knowledge. The person I spoke to passed me off to his coworker who was interrupting me talking. He spoke to me for a moment, walked with me for a little bit, spoke quietly and kept turning his head while talking so I couldn’t hear his words in a busy & loud gym. Unimprsssed and unhappy with this experience. I get wanting to chat with friends and passing time at work, but this was not a friendly experience.

Expérience positive: Quite big with lots of equipment but the floor and bathrooms are often dirty and the staff are hard to find if you want to use the massage or tanning facilities.

Expérience négative: This is the cheapest gym in town by far... and it shows. By that I mean it is utterly jam-packed during late afternoon hours and unclean. It can be extremely difficult to complete your workout goals of the day, despite being large with lots of equipment. To secure a squat rack you need to be lucky or aggressive. Minimal staffing that can't really keep up with the throughput of the gym. In my month's of frequenting this gym I never once experienced a clean men's room; always filthy. My reason for leaving: I just don't trust that I can have a complete, well-rounded workout experience without interruption and disappointment.

Expérience négative: The staff always hide in the back so no one can use the amenities (hydro massage, massage chairs or tanning beds). What’s the point paying for a membership if you can’t use what you’re paying for. They do have decent equipment at least.

Expérience fantastique: Amazing budget gym, I was at a Fit4Less in Calgary and it didn't hold a flame to this location. Water fountain, change rooms, lockers, tanning beds, massage chairs, showers, all in a gym that starts at ~$13/month. I have the deluxe membership at $26/month, which is just insane!

Expérience négative: Gym is always disgusting. Always has been. Bathrooms are never stocked or cleaned properly. Why pay a 60 dollar yearly cleaning fee when none of the staff bother to stock or clean anything? Can’t use any amenities half the time due to there being a lack of staff. Clocks are all out of whack. Machines broken for weeks on end. You pay for what you get. Fit for less (cleanliness)

Expérience fantastique: I love the gym atmosphere and all the staff members. The location is also perfect, right in the heart of Victoria , so everyone has access to it. There's ample parking space available as well for all those commuting by 4 wheeler. They also take utmost priority in keeping the gym hygienic and clean. You will see the cleaning station almost everywhere. The only thing I am concerned about is the out for maintenance machines, I can understand it can be OOO for 2 or 3 days but the cycle is little long and sometimes you have to wait for couple of weeks. If thos can be sorted out, people would love to be around in the gym ️‍♂️.

They won’t change the clocks to match the time, it’s been the wrong time for over a year on every monitor. After multiple complaints from multiple people - nothing!

Expérience positive: PROS Location: central in town, close to shops and food access, lots of free parking available Price: cheap and affordable Hours: 24h very flexible for anyone’s schedule. Quite safe, lots of emergency buttons and security cameras. Sometimes police officers drive by and hang out in the parking lot because homeless people loiter around Vibe: lots of students, relatively positive, not a lot of snobby girls or creepy guys Machines: lots of variety, relatively new, the machines has picture instructions to teach you how to use Environment: bright lights, loud music, tv’s, blasted up AC, massage chairs, positive messages, selfie stations and plenty of mirrors. CONS Showers: cold water don’t have an option of getting warm Vibe: depending on the time you go there maybe influencers with their tripods recording. Gets annoying if you just want to work out and don’t want to be in their background. Machines: quite a bunch of them get broken and it takes a longtime for them to get fixed Environment: spills, dust bunnies and filthy washrooms that rarely gets cleaned. Clocks: some out of batteries and have the wrong time but no one ever updates it. Paper towels and sanitizers: sometimes none even when staff are on. Weekends and when staff needs to leave early, there’s none at most stations. They need to put a bunch of them at the reception desk for us to help ourselves if they don’t have an attendant on. Staff: half of them are nice. Some of them are very lazy, they hide in the back room and play with their cell phones. They are often away from the desk during the day and evening so it can be difficult to use the amenities. If there are 2 workers one should clean and the other should be at the desk and then vice versa rather than have both of them missing. At 9pm is when they do their final cleanup, however they leave the desk until 9:30pm when all access to the amenities are closed for the night. So they come out and sit at the front for the last 30mins when no one is going to ask them for help because the amenities are closed anyways . Instead they should do their cleaning at 9:30pm after the amenities are all done and just leave at 10pm. Overall the gym is not bad, just the service is lacking. Paying for a black card but not being able to use the amenities when you need it.

Expérience négative: Really loved the gym but I see it all from a different perspective now, don’t sign up. Canceled my membership because I was moving, but the shortly canceled my cancellation, due to complications about the move. After a bit I canceled. Then the date changed one more time and I recanceled and canceld again, ON THE SAME DAY, on may 25th, being aware of the 30 day policy. The blonde girl at the front desk told me that the last day I would pay would be the 12th of June and i could enter the gym until the 26th of June. But I saw i got charged last Monday, so I emailed them but won’t help me, even though ONE OF THEIR GIRLS messed up. I know the whole thing is confusing but it all makes sense and only depends on what the person said last time I communicated with them. (Keep in mind i have been out of Canada now since June 7th and they expect me to pay 2 more times just because they messed up). NOT FAIR, TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Hanna saved both pieces of equipment for me and I was able to get my items back from the lost and found 3 days later, Absolute legend. Every staff member is friendly as ever. Genuinely impressed by this gym 24 bucks a month is more than a bargain for the quality of the space and 24 hour access. Most definitely recommend it.

The BLACK CARD Membership DOESN'T COME WITH toilet paper so either HAVE ROOM IN YOUR PANTS or bring your own TOILET PAPER........The gym requiring the least staff and effort and they can't keep the toilet paper stocked.....WHAT ELSE DO YOU HAVE TO DO......an 8 yr old boy could do better......fire all the staff an get 1 COMPETENT PERSON......Thats called a START. Expérience fantastique: Love how this place is so much cleaner than the last gym I went to. Always see people cleaning here! Really appreciate that! They regularly wipe down all the weights, machines, wash floors etc. Summertime air conditioning is a perfect temperature.

Expérience négative: Gym is good, the only thing missing is a SANITIZER. They don’t have hand sanitizers anymore in the whole gym. I asked the front desk guy once about the missing hand sanitizer and he replied it got broken and ever since (1 month) I haven’t seen a hand sanitizer. This is very unhygienic especially in the workout area you need this.

Constantly filthy, staff would rather sit at front desk than maintain equipment cleaning supplies. Staffing on weekends almost non existent. At the very least extra cleaning sprays and paper towel should be made available so users can clean equipment when they have finished using it.

The showers have a timer which isn't bad,but there is no hot water you only have one choice of temperature and it's a cold shower,...and there are two tiny key chain hooks to hang your clothes and no bench to put your duffle bag on, it has to go on the unsanitary moldy ground., To make it worse fit 4 less thinks membes don't know how to shower so it's only open during staff work hours and alot of times not there on time,yet trusted with a 100lbs bar over our heads.i prefer a gym where I'm not force to choose pneumonia if I want to showers.

Well let’s start off with the facts: -Equipment is broken Prepare and to pay $62 to start and then bi weekly 8-12$(& your required to pay 30 days worth of cancellation so extra 24$ If your un happy) -No gym tour offered or promos “Bring a friend” means can’t bring a guest with you for cheap it’s $20 for a drop In fee. (They push you to sign up and commit to paying $50 plus sign up fee without being able to try the gym) Seems shady and poor business model. If you’re going to have a cheap gym and get people to sign up don’t you care about your customers coming back? Clearly not -injury prone environment -I was using the chest /peck machine and the arm fell off when I used it with weight I injured my shoulder, weights everywhere, trip hazards -There was no staff to report problems for for 3 days and I chatted with a few other members. When I spoke to staff I was met with an “ I don’t know what your talking about” response. -Poorly managed and un clean I gave this plac a chance but immediately realized it’s a hard no, there is many better gyms around for only $30 more & better off avoiding this place all together. I’m shocked how bad it is overall with Unhelpful and un friendly staff

Otherwise nice amenities, affordable, good equipment Wish there were step-ups, more mats and more space in the little front room for circuits
