I feel motivated every time I come in, and the supportive community is a big reason why. The equipment is also top-notch, and the staff keeps the place immaculate!

In just under 3 months, I’ve learned so much about proper form, structuring workouts, and understanding how my body works. She’s really mindful of past injuries, always making sure form is number 1 - but she knows how to push you to your potential. Before working with her, I wasn’t really getting the most out of my gym sessions, but now I’ve made great progress in building strength and staying healthier overall. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Expérience fantastique: Fantastic gym and very responsive staff. I spent the last 2 years going to this gym but moved to Australia this year. Even overseas I was able to contact the staff and have my membership transferred. They even waived the 30 days' notice as a service gesture. The gym itself is probably the best in Langford with all the machines and equipment and plenty of room for stretching. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the gym too. Staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this gym to anyone in westshore.

Expérience négative: This gym is a joke - and no, not a good one...Let me explain. Part 1 - Let me start by saying that the overall cleanliness, etiquette, customer service, and management at this gym are atrocious and seem to be getting worse. On top of their already inflated prices, they charge 'Club Enhancement Fees,' but what exactly is being "enhanced" is a mystery. The equipment is limited and often dirty. The bathrooms are consistently subpar, with floors frequently stained, wet and stinking, and are rarely cleaned despite the gym's high traffic, making it overcrowded and unpleasant. The staff, while generally polite are unfortunately, due to no fault of their own, completely redundant. Front desk staff seem totally unable to officiate club business and are never able to resolve matters themselves. All complaints or issues are forwarded to 'the manager' who is never available, never returns messages and according to the Google reviews page, would rather spend their time bickering over client complaints and arguing over negative reviews rather than dealing with paying customers up front. They are cowardly, with a terrible (or more likely non-existent) business acumen, hiding behind the administrative staff that simply lack the agency and understanding to take care of customer requests by themselves. Part 2. Over the past few weeks, I've made multiple attempts through phone calls and in-person visits to resolve a membership and billing issue, WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS. I am owed money for two reasons: reimbursement for membership fees I paid but couldn't use due to delays in reinstating my membership and freezing it, and for being overcharged. In response to my wife’s earlier review regarding the same issue, the manager stated: "We reviewed your account, and here’s a summary of what has really transpired" - The fact that the individual writing this has the nerve to begin their reply by saying 'what really happened' while making numerous errors and omissions from their narrative is concerning. Below are some corrections. You mentioned we inquired about freezing membership on July 30th. Correct, but no billing cycles were mentioned at this point. Having individual billing cycles per client is impractical. The manager should consider alternatives that other gyms use, like Club Phoenix, that bills on the 1st and 15th of each month, which would simplify things. Our freeze request could have been handled despite this, by adjusting our payments pro-rata, but this wasn't done. I clearly requested a freeze "for the month of August", as per my email and initial conversations with staff lead us to believe they understood what we had explained and they would take care of things. Also, while we tried to reinstate early, we weren’t granted access until September 3rd despite being given 'override access' resulting in more time where we had paid but could not use the gym. You noted no charges were made at later points in August, yet we were billed on Aug 5th (one week after our freeze request) at the same time, you replied confirming the freeze?! Reinstatement fees were not mentioned when inquiring about the freeze, and charging for this is unreasonable. You admitted to erroneous fees on Sept 9th, but never communicated when or if we'd be reimbursed. Additionally, we were told we'd not be charged in September as compensation, but were billed 3 times... I've repeatedly and politely requested communication with the manager, but have been ignored every time. Instead, they replied to Google reviews, dismissed my requests, had admin staff hang up on me, and canceled my membership with a refund of just a few dollars. Like with other complaints, I expect their response will focus on impertinent details rather than taking responsibility or apologizing. I haven't seen a single apology, while others have had memberships canceled or received threatening messages after complaining. Pathetic. Embarrassing. Good riddance. UPDATE: As predicted, a petty lie in response. I never threatened anyone, I asked for my own money back. My review is not negative, but honest.

Expérience négative: Extremely Disappointing – Avoid This Gym I have never experienced such poor service from a gym in all my years. Pausing a membership here is unnecessarily complicated, and even after successfully navigating their convoluted process, they continue to charge you whilst your membership is paused, and attempt to charge you for unpausing as well. Over the past month, I’ve called SIX times, visited the gym in person, and yet the issue remains unresolved. It feels as though they are deliberately making it difficult for members to get what they are rightfully owed. The management is completely absent. Despite numerous attempts to escalate the issue, the manager has been unresponsive, offering no guidance or resolution. I was advised to send an email, which I did, and even after two business days, I’ve received no response—no refund, no apology, and no end in sight. The staff are poorly trained and offer conflicting information with each interaction and often contradict one another. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is simply unacceptable. The state of the gym itself is equally appalling. The bathrooms are consistently dirty and smelly, cleanliness and hygiene appears to be a low priority. For the high membership fees and occasional "club enhancement fees", you would expect better facilities and service, but unfortunately, that is far from the case. The staff, while present, often seem disengaged and unhelpful, further adding to the frustration. This experience has been beyond disappointing and very embarrassing for Anytime Fitness. Given the high costs and complete lack of customer care, I strongly advise others to avoid this gym. There are many other options that prioritize member satisfaction and offer a far better value for your money. **UPDATE** Even Worse Than Expected We called the gym again today in an effort to speak with the manager directly. Instead of engaging with us, the employee on the phone said, “the manager does not want to talk on the phone; they only want to reply through the Google review.” As you can see from their response below, it’s petty, unprofessional, and completely disregards our concerns. Not only do they post our private business publicly, but they make zero effort to accommodate us or resolve the real issue— which is the fact that they have essentially stolen our money and continue to lie about it. During the call, the employee hung up on us mid-sentence, and within 25 minutes, our memberships were suddenly canceled. So, they can cancel our memberships instantly, but they can’t process a refund for the money that is rightfully ours? That’s highly suspicious, to say the least. On top of that, if you look at other reviews, the owner/manager hides behind the screen, acting like a cyber bully, instead of fixing the very problems they have caused. They go as far as accusing members of "defamation" for leaving negative comments. It’s laughable—especially considering I doubt it’s even legal for their bathrooms to be in such a filthy, biohazardous state. All in all, I am extremely pleased to be leaving this gym (if you can even call it that). The nicest thing they have done for me is cancel my membership - saving me gas, time, mental energy, and having to deal with them in person. Not only will I be leaving - but many of my friends are leaving as well. It is very clear where their priorities lie, and I am blessed that my friends and I will no longer have to waste our hard-earned money on a scam of a business.

Expérience négative: Bathrooms are always dirty, staff always seem to be sitting on their phone rather than actually doing any work. Stairmaster vents never cleaned. Filed a complaint against another gym member (East Indian, of bigger build) who I caught filming myself and other women. Extremely predatory behaviour. Versus actually informing me of the due process regarding the complaint, all she said was “we’ve had this complaint before”. And then management gets back to me saying he was “just taking selfies”. Stay away from this gym, Club Phoenix is the way to go if you live in Langford! Even the reviews that I’ve seen this gym respond to sound very immature. I won’t be surprised if I receive a passive aggressive comment after this review.

Expérience négative: I went in to see the gym because I wanted one close to where I was staying and open nights (since I mostly work at night) while I am working away from home. I didn't like that there wasn't much privacy since there's large windows facing Yates st which has a lot of foot traffic ( which is a little uncomfortable for someone just starting going to the gym) but I booked a tour anyways. The morning I booked the tour I was on time but the person giving me the tour was late and the person who she was training let me in. I chatted with that person and she was super nice and friendly. The person I booked the tour w came in 15min late and was very rushed when answering my questions. A very big red flags was that I had to give personal information to get a tour but when I was asking questions about " what's my information would be used for", and "if I sign I won't be spammed if I choose not to come here ?"she was quick to say it doesn't work like that so I gave the information so I could get a get a tour After the tour was done I wasn't too sure how I felt about the place , and the person that gave me the tour didn't answer many questions, overall everything felt rushed that I wasn't too comfortable there. So I decided not to sign anything till I was sure since I was being charge a lot for only 2 months of gym use. Not even 2 days later the spam text messages started. I called and said I wasn't interested in the going to the gym but the messages continued to the point had to go back to the gym and wait there to speak to someone to remove my personal information. This could have been just at one location but it made it off putting to go to any of their locations anytime soon

They have periodically been taking money out of my account after reaching out farther they sent me to another company to try and cancel again in September . October 1 another 75$ taken out of my account. It’s also impossible to get in contact with anyone to try and straighten it out.

Expérience négative: I am absolutely appalled by the staff and their customer service. I requested to speak to a manager re: sign-up possibilities and another matter, the kid on the phone was rude, dismissive, laughed at me making the request and refused to put me through to the manager at all. Though he had “just spoken to her” 3 times during the call, she was unavailable to discuss anything with me. Though it is frustrating to not have the ability to sign up for discounts when not physically present, the main concern was in asking to speak to a manager about a multifaceted issue, the request was denied, mocked, and management did not speak to me. I called again and emailed (as requested by staff member) to request discussion of a matter separate to any sign-up deals. This has completely been ignored… It was clearly stated in call conversations and email, the matter regarding discounts for this facility was NOT part of the request to speak to management and yet this is played off as the customer being out of line in a request to speak to management - saying in response below that my request was about discounts and I did not like the answer, inferring that my request for a conversation with management was disregarded for that reason. The treatment of possible members is not acceptable. The blatant disregard for a members concerns about safety and security (which was the nature of both phone and email requests to speak to management) is extremely disappointing. Please work on your customer service skills and customer care.

Expérience fantastique: I don't normally do google reviews, but this is an exception. I have been a member to a few other gyms and I have to say by far that this gym is the best! For the last few years I have had amazing experiences with the fitness trainers who are very knowledgeable and positive and give you the results you are looking for. The gym is super clean and well lit, there is a wide variety of equipment which is very good quality and there are so many different machines. As a shift worker I love that the gym is 24/7 and I can go at any time that works for me. The app is also super helpful with workouts and it even lets you know how many people are in the gym at the time you check the app. The members are very friendly (not a typical meathead muscle gym like some others where you feel uncomfortable). The staff are professional and proactive , management seems to know what they're doing. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who asks! Well done!!!

Some great friendly staff and some that need to put down the “pin” one of the trainers constantly stares around at others and never seems to be focused the people he’s actually training. Total dučhé. Equipment is okay but nothing is worth their outrageous monthly passes. Read the fine print because they will constantly charge your direct deposit for “occasional fees” that happened almost every month for the year contract. Stay away from this gym! Not worth the price. Poor equipment, staff, atmosphere, and price. Better off at local YMCA or anywhere but here!

They have mirrors EVERYWHERE and I can literally see myself from all angles in the gym. The staff and trainers are very friendly and their playlist is surprisingly pretty decent. Expérience négative: A word of caution for those living in a van/camper and using the 3 facilities for showering of Anytime Fitness in the Victoria area of Vancouver Island. I arrived on the Island from Alberta in Oct 2022 for health reasons wanting to escape the -35 temps of winter, and of course some fishing. Having suggestions from friends living the lifestyle, and various utuber channels I decided to get a 6 month Membership Plan at Anytime Fitness Langford. I was honest from the start about my intentions of facility usage, and the Membership application information included Address - Mobile Living, which I still have. The staff were encouraging and helpful. Then when they moved to their new location I received this email on Feb 22nd It is learnt and observed that you have been utilizing our clubs only for the shower facilities. Our gyms are intended to be a place where members workout and only members using the gym as intended may utilize gym facilities. Using the gym solely for the bathroom, shower, or any other non-workout activities can have a negative impact on members using the gym as intended and therefore is prohibited. As such your membership is cancelled with immediate effect. The prorated amount for the unused term of your membership in the amount of $26.39 has been refunded back to your account. Thank you, The very next day I received another email: We are sorry that you have left our family. We hope you had a great experience at the Club and that we have contributed to some extent in you achieving your fitness goals. We wish you the very best in your fitness journey.

Solange is very knowledgeable and I could tell she is passionate about what she does, she explains everything in depth and put my needs and goals at a priority. I’m excited to come back and see what I can do here!

Expérience fantastique: 5 stars for the ample space and tons of equipment. The trainers and the staff are fantastic. Lots of change rooms and showers. Ample parking. vibrant feeling.

Expérience fantastique: Grand new facility. Well laid out and supper convenient location. Fantastic staff and very organized and managed. Really love this place.

Expérience négative: *UPDATE* ***Within 24hrs I recieved an email that MY membership was canceled WITHOUT my request*** Total 0/5 for "upgrade" been a member for 2 years. New location if you want random mall walkers staring at you constantly. Had random people walk into the gym and photograph people. Same broken machines and grips. Floor is uneven. Too many machines in too small a space. Will NOT be renewing

Expérience négative: I’ve been going to this gym for quite some time now. And it’s been a pretty bad experience, considering the other gyms I’ve been a member of. The cable machines and accessories are very used and abused. The staff here are utterly rude and unprofessional. I tried cancelling my membership in house and they were very rude towards me and not easy going at all. Even Some of the reviews I’ve seen this gym respond to are immature and sound very childish. I bet I will receive some petty or passive aggressive comment after this review as well. Don’t waste your money on their money hungry contracts and 60 dollar key fobs.

Expérience négative: The gym is 24/7. But that’s pretty much all it’s got going for it. Horrible contracts. Weights are not ideal. The staff have harassed me with emails about policy’s. When all I did was let the door open for another member. And I’ve been reading some of the other negative reviews and clearly it’s just a power hungry gym just to top other gyms. I have just tried cancelling my membership today and they are hassling me about it when I should just be able to leave when I want. I suggest to not sign any of their greasy contracts and go to another gym.
