Expérience négative: Disappointed with Customer Service As a hospitality professional myself, I was shocked by the rude and unprofessional behavior my brother experienced at this gym. He made an honest mistake by forgetting a second pair of shoes, but instead of addressing it politely, a staff member was disrespectful, dismissive, and even threatened to cancel his memberships without even explaining the rules. What was most unacceptable was her putting on headphones and ignoring him mid-conversation. This is not how customers should be treated. A simple, respectful reminder of the gym’s rules would have been enough. Customer service is about being supportive and professional, but this experience showed a lack of training and basic courtesy. I hope the management takes steps to improve staff behavior, as incidents like this drive customers away.

As a guest services manager and a hospitality instructor at a College with years of experience, I can tell that this place has very inappropriate customer service... Firstly, I made a mistake as I had forgotten to bring a second pair of shoes. A female employee came to me and told me I had to get out as my sneakers were the reason of dirt on floor. I explained to her that the washroom is super wet and changing place has lots of dirt, that was the reason, and I cleaned my shoes and dried very well. We had another conversation and she was rude (maybe because english was not her first language, i dont know) and told me that i "had to get out" or she will cancel my memberships from all locations. When I was trying to understand, she put her HEADPHONES on and waived her hand at me to stop talking. FIRST, you do not stop customer while talking. Second, you DO NOT use your headphones while at work and dealing with a customer. THIRD, was it hard to remind me that i signed a document and have to abide the contract instead of stopping me, using headphones and ignoring me in the middle of conversation?! What kind of disrespectful action is it? I would leave but i decided to stay as no one can be very disrespectful and bossy without proper explanation. Then i went to econofitness website and read the document. I acknowledge my mistake and I will make sure to have the shoes, and I really forgot that it was written in agreement, but there is a proper way to explain the rules to the customers, be nice, and supportive as we are human beings and may forget certain things.After reading it, i left the gym. So, instead of being bossy and rude, there is always a good way of dealing with an issue. I do not think I will be going to that gym specifically. It should not be this easy to lose a customer. If you want to cancel my membership, I cant stop you, because there are lots of gyms around, and now i remember the rules and will abide. However, as long as you do not solve your customer service issues, the bad reputation will follow... Thanks.

Expérience fantastique: J’adore ce GYM! La salle est toujours propre, bien entretenue et agréable à fréquenter. Le staff est super accueillant et professionnel, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus plaisante. Mention spéciale à la gérante, qui est particulièrement sympathique et à l’écoute. C’est vraiment un endroit idéal pour s’entraîner dans une ambiance motivante et conviviale. Je recommande à 100%!

Expérience négative: Worst gym in town. I was refused entry because I was wearing proper, legit gym shoes (Air Forces) — nothing inappropriate like heels, crocs, or boots, and obviously this is my SECOND PAIR OF SHOES. Their reasoning behind that it was raining, and my shoes might bring in water. So I even offered to wipe them down thoroughly on their carpet, or to go with only socks since all I want to do is just benching, but they insisted I couldn’t enter. It seems like they just don’t want to clean up the floor and it is unreasonable to me. Instead of obsessing over clients’ shoes, focus on improving the gym’s cleanliness, ventilation, and equipment and not to hire dummies and enforcing stubborn retarded rules that doesn’t make sense. Not to mention the space is extremely small, with outdated machines that desperately need upgrading. On top of that, the gym always smells like body odor. Prioritize the overall experience for your clients who pays you rather than enforcing ridiculous rules and still wants their money but refusing them to enter.‍♀️

Expérience négative: in 0 way does training in crocs make any difference if I'm using machines lol, I'm an adult I can decide for my damn self what footwear I can/should wear , maybe focus less on the footwear of your patrons and focus more on the absimal quality/state of your gyms equipment and the floors

Expérience négative: I simply cannot express how hot/humid it gets in this gym. Sale, manque quelques machines, autres cassés, le plancher a besoin de réparations, bad experience.

Expérience négative: Same machines have been out of service for months on end seems there is no plan to repair them very annoying.

Expérience positive: Good gym, has a bit of everything, not very busy but how is it possible that they have machines out of use for MONTHS? Please be more dedicated and committed to providing your clients with the necessary equipment.

Expérience négative: Staff don’t like to clean the gym and don’t do their job. Will be cancelling my membership and paying for a better quality place.

Expérience négative: Pour avoir été à près d’une dizaine de Éconofitness différent, celui-ci a clairement le moins d’options de machines et de poids libres. Un seul bench press, une seule petite station pour les exercices de dos, sélection limitée de poids libres. Il fait le travail pour dépanner comme c’était mon cas mais je ne recommande pas comme gym principal à visiter.

Expérience négative: Gym passes as a gym. No rules are enforced by staff, gym goers slam weights; leave weights everywhere and it’s generally not clean. Staff never do anything if you complain. A man was harassing me multiple times, reported it twice and nothing happened. He still harnesses people, leaves a mess and hogs benches/machines. I’ve stopped using this gym, others should too. Pay for more for a better gym, it’s worth it.

C’est difficile d’avoir la paix et de se sentir libre dans ce gym à cause des ces deux filles. Tous mes amis et moi ont décidés de ne plus aller au econo des pins.C’est dommage puisque le gym est très beau

Expérience positive: Been going to this gym for many years, since before it was renovated to accommodate men and women. As a women’s only gym I rly liked the atmosphere, it was one of the nicest econofitnesses I’d ever been to and obviously a little less crowded. Even as a regular gym now it’s still a nice space to workout although it’s generally pretty packed now particularly in the weights room. If you go on the weekend during the early afternoon you’ll get a chance to enjoy the gym to its fullest! On the bright side since they renovated they replaced all of the treadmills which were previously often out of order.

Expérience négative: Way too crowded, extremely small space, and very little attention is paid to the maintenance of the equipment. It can really only function as a women's only space, as it used to be before.

Expérience négative: the gym is adequate for the size but its in shabby condition. Econofitness staff definitely do not clean or maintain the facility because of some corpo-political drama. regardless, the weights are everywhere, the coat room stinks and the showers are not clean. I have the membership so this isn't the case with this branch but at the other branches as well. sometimes the front door wont open early in the morning. ive been stranded out in the freezing snow 3-4 times this year along with other customers. Its a shame because the gym is quite close to where i am and they advertise about being the most economical and friendliest gym in town but they do nothing to dispell the myth of "you get what you pay for" will be cancelling my membership :(

Expérience négative: Vendredi 12 avril 2024 : Je rentre dans le club et pour commencer personne ne m’accueille, les 4 employés sont installers dans le bureau, personne n’est capable d’accueillir les clients sachant que c’était la première fois que je venais dans le club, par habitude jai une paire de chaussures de rechange mais la petit oubli, je me dirige donc vers les toilettes et la sans même un bonjour, une employée me dicte d’un ton agressif « vous n’avez pas de chaussures je peux pas vous laisser rentrer » je lui dis que c’est en effet la première fois que je les ai oublie et que je vais sécher mes chaussures qui étaient neuve. Aucune compréhension, de la non chalance aucune politesse. Revoyez vos équipes car vous venez de perdre un adhérent.

Expérience négative: Personnels incompétents et loin de être compréhensive. Expérience très décevante. Rien a dire sur la gérante mais les employés sont INCOMPÉTENTS

Expérience négative: Worst gym ever!! It usually stinks like body odour, is always packed, and has a very small amount of equipment for the amount of money you pay. Machines sit broken for months without getting fixed.

Expérience négative: This gym would benefit from increasing prices and selling less memberships. Place is severely overcrowded, equipment often breaks from overuse. Hoping corporate will see this. Don’t recommend unless most practical option.

Expérience négative: The place is tiny. It used to be a women-only gym and the traffic was just right. They opened it up to men and women and now it makes no sense. It's just too small a gym to accommodate that many people. Never had I seen people having to find themselves a teeny little space to work out, everyone doing their teeny workout in their corner to avoid the crowd. We're crammed in there like sardines. What's more, it smells like sweat at peak hours, really gross. You either need to go back to women only, or expand.

Expérience négative: I've been going to this econo since the summer and it hurts my soul to go ever since 2024 started. IT SMELLS SO BAD NOW, oh my god I dont know what happened?! Its been so smelly this past month because they keep turning up the heat to cook us inside. Its so hot that I feel like they are trying to trick us into sweating more so we feel like we did a good workout but its so hot the windows are causing so much steam that you cant see out the window. What is the point of windows if you cant see through them because of hot it is inside. Also everytime I go to the gym before 8 am they are always playing weird seductive videos of girls in bikinis on the TV EVERYWHERE! It makes me physically uncomfortable to workout so early in the morning with random men who are watching girls in bikinis on the TV. im so disapointed especially since this used to be a womans only gym.

Expérience fantastique: Ça change de la salle des année 1930 de Hochelaga qui est à vomir et surpeuplé. Ici la salle est moderne et peu fréquentée .

Expérience négative: Ive been working out for a decade and never have I ever denied the chance to workout until today just because Im wearing crocs. The lady told me that weight could fall on my feet and hurt me lol what a weakling. So I told her that even with shoes on with you could hurt yourself. And she just stand with her point which I totally respect but found very irrelevant because that chance of injury is bigger when you're lifting weights and not because a weight drops on your foot which RARELY happens. So I threw my pass and decided that I will never ever comeback with Econofitness. Plus hire real TRAINERS because thats where the biggest injuries happen when someone doesn’t lift properly and you don't have legit/certified trainers working for you.

Expérience fantastique: i love this gym.. best small gym ever they try to keep it clean ive been to another econofitness the one on cote vertu ville st laurent its very big but very dirty gym.. but here it's really nice the people are nice totally worth platinum money.. i love 24/7 feature.. can shower as long as i want it does get very crowded though but still can find randon machine to workout 9.5/10 score easily for a small gym

Expérience négative: I had bought the platinum pass for econofitness on the 30th of december. The week following on Wenesday I had found that my account had been charged $34.85 on January 3rd for a month that i had not even trained for. There is going to be the same bot that replies to this review saying that they are sorry for the inconvenience but this is blatant fraud & i’m sure others have the same experience. This isn’t even mentioning the $60 cancellation fee. I will find a way to contact management directly about this $30 charge being added. The only reason to buy a econofitness membership is because of the scarcity of other options in montreal.

Expérience négative: Il y a un manque de professionnalisme chez certains employés. Ils semblent ne pas avoir les bases pour connaître l'exécution sécuritaire des machines. Vraiment un manque flagrant de professionnalisme, des comportements déplacé vis à vis des clients. Une service à la clientèle misérable. Et certain employés sont caches leur incompétence en racontant des commérages au client sur la gérante. Incapable de faire appliquer les règles de la salle, trop occuper à se trouver des amis. Manque de sérieux et de professionnalisme, solide. Ils ne savent rien sur l'entraînement physique et c'est suffisant. Je ne vous suggère pas de vous inscrit à cette econofitness, les gens sont étrange et plein de complexe, qui ont envie de te partager de nulle part. Je vais simplement retirer mon abonnement et demandé à tous ceux que j'ai réfèré de faire pareil. Et tout cela grâce à un employer au cheveux bleu ou vert. Il y a des emploi qui n'ont même pas leur 5e secondaire, (27ans.ecole de la vie, tu ne vas pas aller bien loin avec ça. Et tout le monde vie et passe par ça et en même font leurs scolarité. C'est ça aussi l'école de la vie. Sans ami et constamment abusé en amitié. C'est difficile pour lui d'être organisé et de faire des tâches simple à la place de mémère contre les clients, les employés et la gérante. Après, il fait le fin, avec ces excuse à 2 balles. Belle image que tu donne à la compagnie. Très professionnel. )pas stable en emploi et ça se permet de donner des remarques désobligeants (il devrait se préoccuper sa propre vie) . Je ne crois pas qu'ils ont lu et savent les règles et l'éthique de leur travail simple. Et se résume à presque rien faire. Les gens qui vont au gym travaillent plus que eux. Vraiment c'est des vrai clown. J'ai donné une chance... Mais, ils ont épuisé mon capital de tolérance. Il mentionne que les soulier seront demises en tout temps et même sur les tapis.... Depuis quand, on embarque sur les tapis où on fait les étirement, yoga, redressement etc etc avec des souliers sur un tapis. Ils s'y connaissent mal. Dans la douche aussi on garde nos souliers.. Il y a des clients qui prennent à eux seul 3 set de machine d'exercice,, dans un gym qui n'a déjà pas bcq d'équipement. À la place d'utiliser une à la fois. Un espace qui n'est pas free d'intimidation, de menace tant de la part des employés que des clients. « 6. Les membres doivent partager les appareils (incluant la zone platine) et faire preuve de respect. (respect c'est quand une personne te dit de ne pas le toucher... Tu ne le touche pas. ) Laissez la place entre chaque séance d’utilisation d’un appareil de la zone platine ou chaque série d'entraînement. 7. L’utilisation d’une serviette est obligatoire partout et en tout temps. Veuillez essuyer les appareils après chaque utilisation. 8. Tolérance zéro quant à des paroles ou gestes agressifs auprès des employés et des autres membres. La plus grande courtoisie et le respect d’autrui sont de mise en tout temps.» Quand tu t'abonne et que tu es employée tu souscrit à tout ça. Mais, on dirait que c'est la que pour l'apparence. Je m'en fou, il ont perdu un client fidèle, ainsi que tous les gens que j'avais réfèré. Et, je vais mettre mon argent ailleurs. Et bonne continuation... À éconofitness... La belle affaire! Sa continue comme ça, c'est les autres établissements sportifs qui vont en bénéficier. C'est juste dommage pour eux.

Expérience fantastique: L'éconofitness le plus organisé que j'ai connu jusqu'à présent. Je suis venu une fois un samedi matin et la réceptionniste était en train d'organiser et de tout nettoyer.

Expérience positive: The space is way too small, and the weights plus equipment are incredibly limited. Not bad overall. Quite clean and even during the peak it's not too busy. I hope saying it's not too busy doesn't jinx it though.

Expérience négative: Used to be a women’s only gym and I loved it, I went multiple times per week. I’ve gone less than five times since they switched to a co-ed gym. The space is SO small, it doesn’t even make sense, it was already crowded when it was women only. There’s only two women’s only gyms left in the city and they’re both far away from downtown. Really such a shame. Corporate greed wins again, I guess. Women truly can’t have anything. I won’t be renewing my membership.

Expérience négative: The WORST gym you will ever find. It is a combination of discourteous, ignorant beginners (that crearly 'learned' how to work out from instagram or tik tok)that believe they need to do 3 exercises at once (tying up 3 pieces of equipment), the state of disrepair of the gym and lack of equipment. The members are some of the worst you'll ever find. In this tiny, packed gym, women will take 2-3 machines at the same time, keep their towel on the other so you don't use it. 1 woman keeps the squat rack for her entire workout. Another one keeps the smith machine for her entire workout (1 hour plus). 2 women using 2 benches, working out together doing the same exercise (keeping one leg on the bench to do lunges) instead of just alternating and sharing a bench. It seems like everyone there watched tik-tok videos to learn how to work out because they are doing the silliest, most ineffective stuff while taking multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. Many members just keep a bench tied up to keep their towels on while not using them to exercise at all. People will tie up the squat rack to do exercises that do not require the squat rack at all (deadlifts, hip thrusts) instead of simply taking the bar to another spot in the gym. None of these people are getting any results, which makes all of this ignorance for nothing. The men are no better, standing directly in front of the dumbell rack, preventing others from even being able to ick up their weights, instead of simply taking 2 steps back. The floors are warped from rain damage and dangerous. The equipment is constantly broken. When something needs to be fixed it takes 6-8 weeks to get repaired. There is one set of twin cables and 1 of the 2 have been broken for a combined 2 months plus. Many benches missing the knob to adjust them. Rubber is missing from handles on the cable equipment. The benches are crumbling because members keep their weights on a bench, tearing the vinyl. They have maintenance people come in to do useless tasks like remove stripes from the windows but these people NEVER fix the equipment. I would suggest ANY other gym that you can find would be a better option. I've been to other econfitness gyms as well and it has an unmistakable culture of ignorance and selfishness, combined with a total lack of understanding of exercise methodology, or form.

Expérience fantastique: Bon Gym a fréquenté, belle ambiance le personnel toujours prêt à aider, et depuis une semaines qu'ils ont mis une membrane dans les vitres la température est tellement mieux contrôler! Bravo! Belle initiative écoresponsable!!!

Expérience positive: good little gym with all your basic necessities and extra goodies if u a platinum member BUT prepare to sweat! Air conditioning is RARELY on or barely working oh and please stop showing douchebag hunters killing innocent animals on your televisions. not cool. not relevant. show retro fitness videos from the 80s , now thats waaaaaaay cooler and more motivating!

Expérience positive: Salle à prix correct et personnel très agréable. Le problème est plutôt le comportement des membres : très peu de membres ont des serviettes ou nettoient les machines. De même, certains téléphonent au milieu de la séance et parfois en haut parleur.

Expérience fantastique: I was going to this gym for 2-3 months. I loved it. The gym is clean, the staff is welcoming and available. In the morning/afternoon (when I went) mostly not crowded. Good vibe.

Expérience négative: Are you seriously turning off the ventilation at night? I'm not sure what those low iq managers/staff are trying to save money or sofficate us?!

Expérience positive: The gym itself is not bad. Good equipment. Sometimes when there are a lot of people it smells like sweaty armpits. The receptionists/cleaners there are rude and unhelpful.

Expérience positive: It's not awful. If you really need to work out and it's close by, then go. But it's very small and a lot of the machines are wobbly and feel a bit unsafe.

I did try to go after their change but unfortunately I'm not ready to go to an mixed gym (because of past bad experience not this gym fault) I just think that they have alot of econofitness mixed, I mean they have mixed econos all over Montréal , they could've left this one for women only now I think there's only 2 left women only gym in Montréal from them which is incredibly sad, I really hope they will open new one for women and more accessible. The staff was amazing, always smiling and the equipment is nicely maintain.

Expérience négative: I used to recommend this gym to every single one of my friends since it was women only. Making it co-ed got to me to cancel my membership due to its major setbacks: 1) small gym - makes it very uncomfortable working out and trying to work around sharing équipement. Especially during even the slightest crowd - makes me and several other friends not want to even come to the gym certain days and times of the week which leaves no point in having the membership. 2) half the equipment doesn’t operate - broken treadmills for example. You want to run and not right next to guy? Good luck waiting 30 mins to finally get on one with some space in between or next to a woman. These factors add up more than you think: you cant come and go on a flexible schedule since now you’re thinking about certain times to come where it is less crowded or when it’s safer for you to work out in peace. Later in the night? Not very safe considering the small size and a co-Ed environment. With work or school it becomes so inconvenient tryna fit in a comfortable and safe workout that I would rather find a place that’s further or even pricier in-order to get my workout in and feel good throughout it. Very disappointed in the choice honestly - given the lack of équipement and space, it made most sense to have a women only gym. Centre-ville location is less than a 20 min walk away too and has always been co-Ed. So many locations around the downtown area that I really think this would have been just fine being women-only. Nothing to any of the guys that workout there, I’m just speaking along the general experience of women working out comfortably (just ask your sisters or mothers). Only two locations left are women-only around Montreal - both on opposite ends of town, which is disappointing since it leaves not even a single small tiny gym serving the downtown core. Maybe the first tactic should’ve been to market it to more women which would’ve resolved the issue of lower turnout in all honesty, instead of adding to the existing 92% of co-Ed gyms they have (25 out of 27 gyms are co-Ed in mtl). Hope the admin team takes this into consideration into restoring the women-only regulation.

Expérience fantastique: Je vois plusieurs mauvais commentaires sur ce gym et malheureusement, beaucoup d'entres eux semblent être de la part des femmes, car le gym n'est plus seulement pour les femmes. Je peux vous rassurer que, malgré que ce gym est petit, la communauté est excellente et s'entraide. Le gym est propre. Les employés sont excellents et souriants. Il faut également comprendre que si vous allez dans un gym petit entre 16h et 20h, bien évidemment que ça sera rempli et il faudra être patient. C'est le cas dans tous les gyms étant donné que la plus part des êtres humains dans le monde finissent de travailler ou faire ce qu'ils ont à faire dans la journée dans ces heures. Même dans les grands gyms. Également, les commentaires où vous mentionnez que des équipements sont brisés... vous seriez surpris de savoir à quel point dans les grands Econofitness (entre autre celle de la Promenade Cathédrale & Ville Saint-Laurent), 80% des équipements sont défectueux pendant des semaines et des semaines. Au moins, dans ce gym, je ne les ai jamais vu être non-disponible pour plus d'une semaine. La réparation est généralement rapide. De plus, il y a toujours des alternatives. Je vais à ce gym depuis maintenant janvier 2023 et je n'ai aucun commentaire négatif à dire. Je suis allé aux deux autres econofitness que j'ai mentionné plus haut et honnêtement, le plus grand c'est, le plus chaotique c'est: des poids qui trainent partout, des poids qui ne sont pas bien placés, des équipements pour les machines avec câble parterre, des machines défectueuses, etc. Un vrai chaos. Et ils sont sales en plus. Extrêmement poussiéreux. Tout cela pour dire que Econofitness Av. Des Pins est bien. J'adore les employés et les gens qui le fréquentent. Si vous avez la chance, essayez de ne pas y aller durant les heures de pointe et je suis presque sur que vous changerez votre avis.

Pas propre, trop de matériel défectueux en permanence, c’est vraiment dommage la salle était mieux avant. Je suis obligée d’aller jusqu’à celle de Van Horne pour avoir plus de confort…

Expérience négative: Everything gone downhill since this gym became mixed and 24/7. Was a member there for over a year when it was a women’s gym and it was one of the nicest, cleanest econo gyms with very friendly staff and community but now it’s just overcrowded all the time, the machines are broken or always busy, and genuinely the place just smells and isn’t kept well…seriously disappointed in this change would not recommend to anyone

Expérience négative: As a visitor, I was looking for a cheap gym and decided to cancel 1 week before leaving Montréal (a sensible thing to do, especially since most gyms require you to cancel in advance). When I canceled, I lost access to the gym despite having paid for an entire month. I then asked the front desk worker and unempathetic manager who told me "that's the way it is". There was no warning I'd lose access, and since my receipt shows I paid an entire month, I thought I'd be able to go. The gym itself is functional but limited and crowded. I normally avoid leaving bad reviews, but the response of the staff left a bad taste. TL;DR: Avoid if you're a visitor, or at least be extremely diligent about canceling

Expérience positive: J’adore venir m’entraîner a ce gym malheureusement ca fait plus de quelques semaines que les tapis roulant sont brisés. La gérante a deja envoyer les demandes des 3 tapis qui ne fonctionnent pas! Je suis tanné de lui demander je sais que c’est hors de son contrôle, elle fait tout pour me rassurer que cela a deja été notifié aux dirigeant mais je crois qu’ils ne font rien sachant que c’est un petit gym et que nous sommes beaucoup a nous entraîner ici, je trouve ça extrêmement frustrant. Je parles pour plusieurs personnes qui sont également tanner d’attendre.

Expérience négative: Wow, since they changed the gym to 24/7 and opened it to men, it has NOT been the same. The place absolutely stinks, and I mean really stinks of body odor. I used to go to relax and enjoy some me time some self care and it's just impossible now. The staff is also not well adept to customer service in general. It's too bad.

Expérience négative: Le manque d’équipement est flagrant. Un gym qui n’a pas de steps? C’est la moindre des choses. Plusieurs exercices ne peuvent être effectués ou alors nous devons mettre nos pieds sur les bench qui sont trop hauts. SVP EMMENEZ DES STEPS!!!! Il y a la place pour à côté des poids libres ou des kettlebells.

Expérience négative: Econofitness a fermé le gym au féminin dans Parc-Ex l'an passé prétextant que c'était à cause des rénovations; faux. Celui sur Des Pins a été modifié sans consultation des membres pour devenir mixte . J'ai dû me rabattre sur les deux seuls gyms au féminin de l'île; Côte-des-Neiges et Jarry...trop loin, je dois prendre ma voiture. Je viens de me réabonner cette semaine (mais pas Platine cette fois-ci!) mais je crois que je vais devoir annuler car Jarry a de sérieux problèmes de stationnement. Je crois que Éconofitness ne considère pas la clientèle féminine assez importante pour leurs revenus d'entreprise.

Expérience négative: This gym has gotten so bad since becoming mixed. Equipment is broken constantly and takes a while to get fixed. Some equipment got taken away during the renovation and was never returned (aerobic steppers, landmine barbell attachment). Members have no etiquette; for example, nobody puts weights back in the right place and people slam and drop their weights on the ground despite signs saying they will be expelled for doing so. On one occasion, I was actually filmed by a man. A lot of the male members give uncomfortable vibes and stare, which has never been a problem for me at other coed gyms. My favourite piece of equipment is the hip thrust machine, but it’s a major safety hazard because it isn’t bolted into the ground despite the machine saying it should be and it could seriously hurt or kill somebody. I do want to add that the staff are very kind and always helpful, and none of the negative happenings here are their fault. I hate to leave a negative review, but this gym really needs to fix things as a positive and encouraging community space for women has gone so downhill so fast.

Expérience négative: Je suis venue avec ma sœur qui a un abonnement platine ce qui inclut le droit d’amener un ami le jeudi. Bien sûre il était écrit en tout petit caché que c’était pour seulement le dernier jeudi du mois donc les employés ont eu aucune compréhension et valeurs humaines et ne m’ont même pas laissé m’entraîner alors que je venais de faire 30 minutes de marche pour me rendre. Vraiment déçue . Je pensais à m’abonner mais je ne le ferai certainement pas avec econofitness

Expérience négative: Appreciated it when it was a women's only gym, it was comfortable and not too crowded. Lost its uniqueness now that it's mixed, no longer going there for workouts. Going to find a gym that best caters to women's needs #disappointed

Expérience négative: Je suis tellement déçue, je n’ai jamais reçu d’email concernant le changement mixte. Je m’étais abonné ici pour cette raison précise. Il faut faire quelque chose. C’est tellement fâchant.

Expérience négative: Aujourd’hui, 2 janvier 2024, vers 21h00. Un membre econofitness a créé une scène à la salle d’entraînement en insultant un autre membre et à même pousser l’employé à la réception. Il m’a aussi lancé un “ta gueule toi” quand j’ai essayé de désamorcer la situation. J’espère que la direction va banir ce membre dans les plus brefs délais. J’aimerais être avisé de l’évolution de cette affaire.

Expérience fantastique: Je voulais m’entraîner ce matin, mais malheureusement il y a eu une panne d’électricité et l’accès n’a pas marché. J’ai du appeler pour avoir plus d’informations et la gérante très gentille m’a expliqué la situation que c’était justement à cause d’une panne qui c’est passé durant la nuit.

Expérience négative: It used to be my favourite gym, a safe place for women. They recently turned it into a mixed gym and i have really disliked this place ever since, too crowded for such a small gym and no more training in peace for women. Will not be renewing my membership.

It's sad to see all these women impacted by this change, which really speaks volume on the issue. Especially knowing that Montreal doesn't have many women's only gym..

Expérience négative: Je me suis sentie extrêmement mal à l'aise de faire de l'exercice dans ce gymnase depuis qu'il est devenu un espace mixte. J'ai fréquenté ce gym pendant des années jusqu'à ce que cela se passe. Au cours des dernières années, Econofitness a continué à fermer des salles de sport pour femmes ou à les transformer en espaces mixtes. Il est décevant que Econofitness n'ait fait aucun effort pour maintenir des espaces d'entraînement pour les femmes.

Expérience négative: So gutted this place is now mixed… I loved coming here and knowing I could workout in peace, also it’s a very small gym so it will likely be much too crowded now. Hopefully it will stay a relaxing and safe place to workout, however based on my experiences at other co-ed gyms I don’t believe that will be the case. There are many other mixed Econofitnesses around but no female-only ones nearby. So disappointing.

Expérience fantastique: C’est la plus belle nouvelle de la semaine ! Le gym au coin de ma rue est devenu MIXTE …n’en déplaise à certaine …. Si certaine femme ne veut pas être avec la société en général…qu’elle paye plus cher ailleurs pour avoir l’exclusivité! C’est aussi ça être féministe!

Expérience négative: I really liked going to this gym and I stopped going a few months ago, now that I thought about resubscribing I realize that they are going to turn it into a mixed gym, well I better continue with my routine at home.
