Expérience négative: This is the gym where the equipment comes to die. Time for an upgrade. Used to be a member when this location was Goodlife...what a difference. Disappointing considering the other locations.

Expérience fantastique: The location on Barton st. right off Centennial has a very respectful and welcoming community as with the members that go there. Staff are great and helpful as well. Affordable, clean place. Has all your basic needs along with 2 massage beds and 6 massage chairs

Expérience positive: Nice gym. Pretty easy to do my workouts just wish repair of the machines were done at a faster pace

Expérience fantastique: Great place to get your gym on! Only suggestion....floor mats could use some tlc cleaning on more regular basis. Otherwise clean, drink machine on site and washrooms always clean.

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym. I went back in my early 20's up to my early 30's when it was Family Fitness. I just got back into it now, that I'm in my 40's. The gym is great! Equipment is decent. They have everything you need. People and staff there are very friendly.

I lost my card after holidays, I have not stepped inside the gym once for over months..(still paid) and the response for a replacement card - "you have to pay for it, it's not my fault you lost it." Can't even give a $25 card to a customer who has paid well over 2 years. Amazing customer service.

Expérience fantastique: Locker rooms instead of stalls, showers, massage chairs, and hydro massage. The free weight equipment is old, but who cares. If it looks empty from the road, it's because the parking and entrance are in the back.

Expérience positive: Shes a little scraunchy and run-down, but for the price, it's to be expected. It has all the equipment you need, aside from the fact that it's incredibly busy during the afternoons/evenings.

Expérience négative: with a name like fit4less, you know what to expect. cheap and dirty equipment, the rubber hand grips on about 80% of the machines is missing so no proper grip. the employees are never at the front desk, and they rarely clean anything. which is a health hazard if you're worried about covid19. all the employees seem to do is hide out in their staff only room like they're hibernating. there is only one of each machine. wanted to use that machine? too bad, cause someone is sitting on that machine for the next 30 minutes. they only have extra cardio machines for some reason. the paper towel dispensers to clean the equipment with are almost always empty so you can't ever clean after use. a health inspector definitely needs to do a thorough review of the bad conduct here. in short, you get what you pay for.

Expérience positive: Been going here for a couple months and have never had a problem.. normally all the people are nice and it’s a pretty quiet & clean gym.. Only thing is , is I’ve been catcalled quite a few times now here and it has gotten to a point where I don’t feel comfortable going by myself anymore.. beware or the weirdos that go here if you plan on going alone if you’re a female..

Expérience positive: For the same price, planet fitness is way better. It's a very average gym where one or the other machine is always dysfunctional. The good thing about the gym is that it functions 24X7 which, at least, works for me.

Expérience positive: Don't bother coming if you work 9-5. After 5pm it's a zoo. Also, machines stay broken for months, they're old and run down... Save your money and sanity.

Expérience négative: Everything is disgusting here. Seats ripped, bars rusted, cables broken, squeaking and no maintenance. Nobody cleans nothing after use and I've only seen staff clean the place once in the last month. There is caked up grossness on every equipment and there is only one of every type of equipment which is always busy. The cable snapped on one equipment while someone was working out due to lack of maintenance and the equipment has not been fixed in 2 weeks. On top of all this, there is a ridiculous entry roundabout gate system which if you don't rush within 0.005 seconds after tapping your card, locks you out of the gym for 30mts. No idea who came up with this merry go round. Visit planet Fitness in Burlington for the same price and that place is squeaking clean and every equipment in tiptop shape.

Expérience positive: Showers are not private and female staff came into shower area to clean. The showers need to be redesigned so we can showers without the awkward staring other locations have doors theses do not. Also showers are only active on certain times of day compared to other locations where its 24/7 Workout equipment uses good life equipment and is not awkwardly positioned like fit 4 less equipment. Water fountains have cold water as well.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym for the price. Brandon who works at the front is awesome. He walks the whole club and picks up after people that leave stuff all over the place. A few clubs should follow his example (especially Burlington, which is the dirtiest club around)

Expérience positive: I actually really like this location. Very clean, the atmosphere is inviting & the staff are so kind! Regardless of the negative reviews, it’s a good location. They do need more machines on the other side. Having 1 for each style causes line ups! But, I like it there! So glad I joined!

Expérience positive: The place is a bit old specially the changing room ,plus and that is just me the Shower is an open space like you see in movies! I am not a big fan I think they could at least separate those for those who aren't comfortable with the current setup. But other than that I like it. Peace of mind , open 24/7. I'm always there early in the morning so there is no waiting to use a machine. There have plenty of those with mirror every where! It is the cheapest plan In the city for me!

Expérience négative: Staff at this location in the past have been completely awful in some cases. I did witness 2 girls behind the counter body shaming another member and laughing at her use of a machine saying something to the effect of 'oh my God, she's using that wrong, is she that dumb' and laughing. This didn't sit well with me so I went over and told them what she was doing (using the leg extension machine to do hip thrusts) was indeed an effective way to work out glutes. That they really needed to educate themselves and that was a great alternative machine/method to isolate that muscle group in a gym that's very limited in equipment compared to say a goodlife. That as staff there they shouldn't be judgemental towards people who are there trying to improve. I was met with a snarkey response of I should mind my own business. I'm no longer a member there for some time now... Aside from that ordeal I did find the equipment sufficient and the gym of okay size. The only other issue was that equipment would be broken and not fixed for several weeks. I'm not sure if those girls still work there or not as this was a while ago but it was quite disgusting behavior on their part.

Expérience fantastique: I love going to this gym in particular. I reduce to go else where. The staff are very nice and friendly. The environment and people who crack a smile and nod, say good job/keep going or give a thumbs up.. it has made my journey to better myself so much more happy and enjoyable. I can not recommend this location and staff enough. I love them all.

Expérience négative: Called on Sunday June 19th at 12:30pm, was looking to cancel my membership, I got no feed back, I have no idea if my membership was cancelled or not. And apparently I will still be billed for another month after the cancelled date. They will charge for a full month after cancel yet you lose access on the exact day the next month. So I'll pay for the full month 1st to 31st but will only have access till the 19th? Is this a joke? The person I called had no idea what to do or say.

Expérience positive: Wish there was a stair master but otherwise a great gym! The staff are extremely kind and helpful when it comes to gym knowledge!

Expérience négative: We loved it... Until the pandemic. We had prepaid the year in advance for two people. Repeated requests to put our account on hold until this blows over were ignored, they finally agreed to pause our account for something like 2 months (during winter, when it was at its peak!), then just kept our entire prepaid membership. I understand that things are tough, my own business is still closed from the pandemic... But they could have held the memberships, ESPECIALLY as others were complaining about lack of booking times. They kept our money, we didn't go in, built a home gym. We won't be back.

I spoke with customer service and it is up to my bank to refund the NSF for a mistake that fit4less made. Do not sign up and give them your banking information

Expérience positive: I used to be very disappointed in fit4less but my opinion has improved over time. I find the staff really nice, the equipment I want to use is easily accessible and the hours are great. I have been with Fit4less for about a year now. Thumbs up.

Expérience positive: It's your average gym for $10.Booking times is usually not an issue. Alot of their equipment is broken and it becomes super frustrating when theres no out of order signs on them and apparently no plan in place to have them fixed.

Expérience négative: I called this gym in July asking what I could do about my membership I had paid for in full on February 2020, when we were not in a pandemic, with a steady income. I had only been able to attend the gym for the month before the pandemic. When I called in the summer, the employee told me that Fit4Less was giving refunds in these cases and directed me to fill out a form online. I have been given difficulties with obtaining a refund, I have called multiple times, and either no one answers, or I am told that a manager will call me back, which never happens. I know of 3 individuals who put through the same claim as myself got their refunds months ago. They also had paid in full for their memberships just as I had. Why is this company withholding refunds from some but not all of their customers?

Expérience positive: I used to love this gym prior to Covid. 5-6 days per week. I started back in September., fit4less emailed me and outlined their new protocols I booked a slot to work out. The gym was up to protocol with the treadmills and ellipticals. However the strength training area is still the SAME PRIOR TO THE PANDEMIC. nothing was moved around at all. I tried using the hand sanitizer, the hand sanitizer they have throughout the fitness area has no alcohol in it most sanitizers are supposed to have 70-90% alcohol. They use chlorophyll. 3 out of 4 of the paper towel dispensers are broken so it's way more touching of the paper towel by everyone as they reach to use it. While at the gym the "muscle squad" barely wear a mask and are very chatty and do not practice distancing. I have seen staff remind them to wear a mask which is a great thing however there's some of them who do not follow rules and it could just be people forget however it doesn't make me feel safe to want to return so after 2 weeks I stopped going. Also, staff is consistently on their personal phone through out. One worker his friends came to the gym and he followed them around chatting. Not enforcing any rules as they were his friends. ☀️☀️

Expérience positive: I love the cleanliness of the gym. The staff are nice for the most part. The workout equipment is in working order and clean so that's a plus. My only suggestion to anyone who is starting out, when you book a late session example 830 start time and you want to use the massage chairs after your workout dont bother asking if it's 930 lol. Even though the massage chair is only 10 to 15 minutes they will either refuse to turn them on or just guilt you about it. We just stopped asking since it seems like it's an inconvenience ‍♀️. I understand though.. they probably just want to get home once everyone's done at 945 instead of sterilizing some chairs. Keep up the great cleanliness of the gym. Hopefully it stays open!

They have repeatedly failed to cancel my membership and continue to steal my money while falsely claiming they didn't receive my cancellation notice. Stay away at all costs. Nothing but dishonest thieves!

Expérience négative: My first impression of the staff was this; a snot face goody two shoes female who clearly thought she was better than me, she approched me with a snot attitude, as i came in, i asked her about a membership for my husband as well as myself, and this is what she said; Well. If your husband wants a membership he can come in and get one himself. If you would like a membership today you can go and do it online. So. Okay. Forget that i had questions because clearly you are not in the mood to answer them. Friggen rude! How can you treat potential customers that way? If i want information, you SHOULD GIVE IT TO ME. If i have questions, YOU SHOULD ANSWER THEM. Im not saying i wouldnt buy a membership, because my husband really wants us to go, but if i see this woman again and if she gives me an attitude, i will not be so nice.

I have only been once, locked in a stupid year contract for something and somewhat I have no interest in ever going back to. I'm stuck paying for a bad service that I don't even want to use, because of this place being so unprofessional. I tried talking to customer srvserv through email and they also were not helpful in any way. I'd recommend never to sign anything with this facility or Fit4Less to anyone.

The girl at the desk at 3pm wasnt very friendly and seemed annoyed when I want to use tanning then came back and ask to use massage beds. She gave nice attitude to the man that wanted to tan but was short with me. If your annoyed by doing your job then this isn't the job for you. Your job is customer service. Also being nice to a good looking guy and annoyed with an average girl isn't what ur gym is all about. Might need to replace a few staff
