Expérience négative: I have been coming to this gym for over 6 months now. I would like to bring a few things to management notice. 1. Washrooms are really dirty. It looks like they have not been cleaned up. 2. There are many areas that require regular cleaning for example. Some gap between 2 mat joint, that's really dirty, you can clearly see dust and other web developed over time. 3. Gym equipment is generally having more bacteria, regularly cleaned by staff would be nice. 4. Especially during Weekends everything becomes more dirty. Please management, as many people have joined this gym in past few months especially after August, but don't see any improvements in cleaning please make sure cleaning goes with the flow as well, hygiene is what we need while focusing on our health. Thanks I can send you photos if you need, just not posting it here. Please it's a request from me and my other 4 friends to work on this. Otherwise we need to look for other options in near future. Expérience négative: 2 stars just for the fact that machine selection is good, but cleanliness is worse than any gym I've seen. As of writing this, the mens change room hasn't been cleaned in over a week. Garbage overflowing, trash all over the floor. Equipment usually takes over a week to repair as well. Would be a 5-star if staff actually put effort into maintaining the place.
Expérience négative: Hi! I have been trying to get in touch with the manager at this location but it has been no success. I have sent multiple emails and have gotten no response, every time I visit the gym she is never there even though the staff told me her hours are 9-5. But otherwise, this gym is great for the price with lots of equipment and very friendly staff. Just wish they would do something about the management.

Expérience fantastique: Naveed is a superb employee. Definition of professional. He’s always greeting people, with a friendly smile. Whenever the paper towels are empty, he’s there to replace them. The gym is always clean. The rest of the staff is also very helpful!
Expérience positive: Love the gym. You get 2 floors. Bigger than most fit4less gyms. It's pretty much Goodlife Fitness layout. The black card area has a big space too. One thing I noticed though is that there's always a broken equipment.
Expérience fantastique: Good gym, has everything you need. Shootout to Nav and Jos! I'm down 20 lbs this year, but I'm more proud that Nav and Jos know my name, and say hi to me when I arrive. I feel like a regular, a recognized member of the gym. The gym has a great culture. The staff are very friendly and supportive, and everyone cleans up after themselves.
Expérience positive: It's a good gym cheap and very big. Has two V I P rooms. House keeping of the washrooms and refilling spray bottles and paper towels need to be done more often but it's usually a mess because no one works on weekends I am guessing??

Expérience positive: One of the better fit4less in terms of equipment, though only if you have the black card membership, otherwise the equipment is pretty limited. Does get pretty busy during peak hours, but that’s to be expected. Change rooms are spacious and pretty nice, but could use some more cleaning.

Expérience fantastique: Good gym, its got a main floor and a basement with a bunch of variety in weight rooms, machines, stretching areas, etc. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Gym is usually clean especially since I go during peak hours.

Expérience négative: Worst service ever i experience, i have a membership but my brother doesnt have. We asked front desk if he can get a free trial after that he can think to get a membership, but one of their staff said we dont have any free trials you can do workout on 29th feb instead which is free day workout. They didnt allow me to workout or not even to use treadmills for half an hour because i am already in club. I was sitting in the waiting area until my brother finish his workout. When i was sitting there they were starring at me but didnt show any sympathy, and no humanity towards their client. I didnt had experience like this before.

Expérience négative: I've had a terrible experience with the staff member Christina! Yesterday, I was waiting for 30 mins to get a staff member to turn on the message chair for 10 mins after my workout, and no one was there! And today again, no one was there. I was there from 10:45am to 12:30pm. I set the timer to 10 mins and punched in my card. When I went to use the message chair, the staff member Christina came out after yelling at me loudly, in a very unprofessional demeaning manner, asking me to leave the gym. I was asking her what the issue was and why she was talking to me that way. She said you, she can't use the message chair after hours! And I was there at there at 10:45am. She then attempted to say I was calling my manager. I said, "Please do so, I'd like to speak to them. I then asked what her managers name was, and she didn't want to give their name out. There is no sign there that says you can't you tge message chair. If this was the case, I would not have used it. I will be filling for a law suit, if this gym does not take it appropriate to train their staff or find another employee to replace Christina. I will be speaking with the manager and finding out what action they will take. I wish I had something positive to say, I had a terrible experience, and everyone should know.

Expérience négative: The gym itself has always been clean and the staff has been great but unless you want to work out between 11pm and 5 am it's not going to work. There is always a long wait for equipment. It appears to be students coming in groups. They use the machines when sit scrolling on their phones at the machines for 10-20 minutes and I can never get use of them. It's becone that I am spending money on a membership to use a treadmill. I'm disappointed cause my gym time was always my favorite time and now it's just an annoyance. Much better when you had to reserve time and had time limits.. ateats then you can get your complete workout in

Expérience négative: I had given it 4 stars when I started using these facilities. Today if I could give It! 1/2 star would be enough. equipment to do a workout 80% recommended. but the place is very dirty, they don't try to keep it clean. I agree that they give young people the opportunity to work. But they stay stuck in the staff room their entire shift. There is not a day that I’m training and I see them only at inside the staff room, no one cleans the bathrooms, bathrooms are disgusting. There is dirt in every corner of the gym. because they don't have a good manager. fit4 less is paying employees to be in the staff room. One more thing, the gym doesn’t have a good odor extraction system. since many people do not use deodorant and sometimes the bad smell is too much, this location has closed rooms.

The biggest problem facing the gym and why I am forced to cancel my membership is due to the simple fact that it has oversold memberships here and it has become way too difficult to workout here. Packed like you are in a club. It's ok if you don't have any real fitness goals and can wait 10-15 minutes for a piece of equipment

Expérience négative: Fit4less was a great gym until management hired kids to run/clean the gym. Since being a member from re opening day the gym has been great, up until the past 3 months. Last time I looked there is an annual fee which pays for a clean and up to date gym so my question to fit4less management, when do you guys plan on teaching staff members how to clean.

Expérience fantastique: I think this is the best in Guelph, for the price you pay, the amount of equipment and the way it was planned for the black card, it's amazing. Felt the showers and toilets could be much better in cleanliness. Been there from 5 years cant think of other gyms for this price. Truly can be fit for less.

Expérience négative: When i joined gym i paid $70 membership fees, so i can cancel anytime. Now when i moved to different city, i just request for cancellation my membership. They said again you need to pay for one month extra because its our policy. When someone not able to come and want to cancel and you are charging for no reason one month extra.

Expérience fantastique: My experience at this gym was beautiful and will forever stay with me. I was very sore and wanted a hydro massage, the manager, I believe her name was tenya assisted me and complimented me and gave me life changing advice. Expérience positive: Fairly clean and a lot of machines/space to work out. I noticed this morning almost all of the paper towel dispensers were empty to wipe down machines :( Hoping it was just an odd occurrence that they didn't have any refills. Had to end my workout early because I didn't want to continue using machines with nothing to wipe down afterwards.

Expérience fantastique: I was taking my dog to the vet several months ago and unfortunately had to put him down.. My best friend of 14 years just gone in an instant. Needless to say, I was absolutely devastated. Barely holding myself together I began to wander through the parking lot in a daze. I abruptly started to projectile vomit so I rushed to the garbage bin out in front of fit4less as to not make a scene. It was horrific. Years of pent up sorrow and shame pouring out of my mouth, nose and eyes, the acidic pain of the liquid sick being the only thing keeping me conscious and aware of the agony of the universe. After an eternity it finally stopped and I was able to breathe again. I looked up from the bin to see a kind man holding his hand against the glass to tell me everything was going to be okay. That man was Henry. I immediately forgot about my dog and signed up for fit4less. Now I'm jacked. Thanks Henry!

Expérience négative: Unbelievable treatment to a brand new member, first interaction with staff. The young blond supervisor was snippy and unreasonable, someone was on a power trip. She refused to rectify the situation or ask for help when she knew she couldn’t do it. I asked to speak to the management, she refused. She was extremely rude. Sadly this is why gyms are dying off I hope this helps someone from wasting their money. She shouldn’t be the person you meet.

Expérience positive: I just joined there and I love it. Very clean and it has everything I need. I would give it 5 stars but what is up with the showers? It takes 3 to 5 minutes for the water to get body temperature warm and then the water fluctuates from warm to cool. I don't get it. I notice that most members know this is an issue because when they come into the change room they go right to the showers, turn them on and then go back to their locker to get ready for their shower. Is the water heater across the street?

Expérience négative: Barely even went there because it was always over crowded canceled my membership within 10 days after getting it yet I've already been charged twice after cancelling even said they won't pull anything out of my account yet they did now I see why so many reviews are about fit4less just taking money out of people's account with no care in the world if your desperate and are ok with an overcrowded gym that's only 11 bi weekly go crazy but I'm definitely never going back

Went for my first workout at the Guelph location, black card room was closed for repairs ( I understand things break but some notice would be nice), the sauna was nailed shut, the showers are not available after staffed hours. Nothing on the website about that either, same deal with the hydro massage beds. Probably going to cancel membership after 1 visit.

Expérience fantastique: With top-notch and a friendly atmosphere, it's easy to see why this gym deserves a 5-star rating. I highly recommend Fit4less to anyone looking for a great workout experience. With the flooding so it was fully renewed so it was clean and with some new equipment.

Expérience fantastique: I am not sure where the negativity outside the abnormally long restoration process is coming from. It is $10 biweekly gym membership, there is TV, lighting, a place to go 1 or 2 at, sanitizer, water, and a roof. I personally think this is a great deal considering it is available 24 hours. Place is clean it self. I did not see anything bad in terms of presentation here today, looked very nice.

Expérience négative: I was excited to join this gym facility knowing that it was newly renovated and structured. I did the free trial but was not able to enter the back room, I liked what I saw upstairs so i joined not knowing when I entered the black room all I smelt was sewage and so did the women's washroom. I was also told that the males washroom and all the urinals are closed off and have been since opening day. I don't understand why there is no wifi downstairs.....

Called multiple times to cancel my membership as I couldn’t online while it was closed for the year and during the time I had moved over an hour away. I called when they reopened and the manager himself canceled my membership, the payment still came out and I once again had to call him. He said it would be refunded automatically(still has not) My friend ran into the same situation, when she was charged after cancelling, it was refunded instantly but this is a bank account she doesn’t use and therefore received a $45 nsf. Manager doesn’t care, remained professional but in no means whatsoever nice.

The gym was closed for 10 months, then a week after it opens 3 payments tried to come out of my account, for myself, my husband and my daughter, without notice. I spoke with the manager and he was not very accommodating, so we canceled our memberships!

Expérience négative: Took the money for 12 months and closed for 10 months. Now the only option is to take the extension or let the money go to garbage. According to the general manager David it is my problem that I took the membership somewhere else because they were closed and mentioned I should have waited because they would have given me an extension anyways. So Fit4less now decide whether a person can go to the gym or not based on when they will open. Never heard a gym being closed for 10 months due to a storm. All other businesses were up in a few days. Pathetic service and stealing money from people. Please do not sign up here. Update: Already sent multiple msgs on social media but no response. Stop sending automated msgs without actually responding or resolving the issue.

Expérience négative: Was always dirty, but hey it had what you needed for 12$ bi weekly, can't complain about that. However they had some roof damage during a storm 10 months ago. 10 months. They are still closed. They've given a measly 2 updates in 10 months. I've seen restaurants in guelph go from a parking lot to a fully open 300 seat restaurant in the same time it takes fit4less to fail to fix a roof. Also they won't even let you cancel your membership until they're open... how scummy is that? Conveniently they offer to move us to goodlife fitness which happens to be tripple the price. (Worth it though, awesome gym) Anyway, you guys truly suck. I'd be embarrassed to be a manager or member of a company that truly does not care about its members.

Expérience négative: Been closed for months because of damage from a storm, with little updates on when reopening will occur. If the GoodLife/fitforless company really cared about our health they would let us use the GoodLife gyms during this closure. People use the gym for mental health and I can’t believe they haven’t given us more options. Many people are suffering because of this closure. Don’t wanna be a member at this gym/company anymore.

Expérience négative: After signing up in the reopening after Covid. The machines were filthy, heavy dust and dirt on equipment while the employee just stood at the front not cleaning anything. Ppl using the machines didn't wipe them down afterwards. Regret buying a year membership, even sent the company pictures of the equipment with no response.

Expérience négative: Honestly, I just go to fit4less for the prices. If you’re someone who cares about a clean gym don’t go here. The bathroom is never clean, there mold on the water fountain, the floors aren’t clean, the equipment isn’t wiped down and to be frank, the gym doesn’t smell good either. Cleanliness definitely isn’t there number one priority so if it’s yours don’t go here.
Expérience positive: It's ok ... good thing about this location it has the black area separate so one can be a bit isolated if that's your thing. Otherwise equipment selection normal maybe even basic ...

Expérience négative: I’ve been coming here for years. The staff used to be great at cleaning, but for the last year or so they’ve completely dropped the ball. Always 2 staff members at the front desk socializing / on their phones, never see them cleaning. Floors are gross, paper towel everywhere not picked up, bathrooms unattended too, and overall dusty. Not sure what happened. Cleaning at a gym is a top priority. The burlington location is always kept clean compared to the Guelph location.

Expérience positive: It has all the equipment needed. And it’s rates are lower compared to any other gym in guelph. Great place for experience with positive environment. Loved the place.
