Spa at Four Seasons Toronto: Avis
Expérience fantastique: 10/10 experience every single time. Mindblowingly goooooood!!!!! So incredible
Expérience négative: Buyer beware. Gift cards for the spa are NOT usable at the hotel. Would have been nice to know before purchasing. You have a completely merged website, but don’t inform clients your gift cards are only usable at a portion of the property. Very deceptive, will not be returning or recommending when staying in Yorkville.
Expérience fantastique: 4.5/5. Great spa, love their close attention to details. Nice environment, pleasant atmosphere. Heather is a great massage therapist. Lounge area is a bit small but no complaints to other stuff.
Expérience positive: Had a wonderful massage, and this place really knows how to spoil you ☺️. The staff were amazing, and the amenities were fantastic! The only downside was that the pool wasn’t warm, which was a bit disappointing.
Expérience négative: Very good service and the staff is very friendly, but the area in general is extremely noisy for a spa, making it impossible to relax. Although the schedule says it is a family space after 4pm, there were very small children there long before then, people talking loudly on their cell phones and general noise to the point of not being able to enjoy the pool.
Expérience positive: Beautiful space and luxurious amenities. Staff are exceptional. My facial treatment was great. However, the overall experience was poor due to not being able to enjoy the pool or hot tub. Firstly the hot tub jets weren’t working. Secondly, multiple families with children came into the pool area and walked across the deck in outside shoes (since kids aren’t allowed in the changing room). The pool area was filled with screaming children making it impossible to relax.
Expérience fantastique: The pool was sooooo relaxing
Expérience positive: Great RMT and amenities . Only thing i didn't like was the reception desk at the spa was putting pressure for gratuity. she even told me she would calculate it for me. It's already over 200 for a massage I don't need the extra pressure
Expérience fantastique: They always make me feel special upon entry, and the RMTs are incredible!
Expérience fantastique: Always a lovely experience receiving a deep tissue massage at the Four Seasons.
Expérience fantastique: I had the most phenomenal prenatal salt stone ritual. It truly was so thought out, every single detail. It included a belly mask, and the hot salt stone. It also included face and head and arms and legs and just everything was serene and relaxing. The bed was warmed as well and your robe is given back to you heated also! The massage was primarily on one side then another. This was much mroe comfy for me than typical prenatal massages that have you on your stomach on that pillow with a hole in it. Still puts pressure/not comfortable. I had terrible lower back pain and today’s treatment offered a lot of relief. The masseuse was very knowledgeable and kind. Service was really good. Pool and lounging areas are very relaxing and there’s always someone around to help or answer questions.
Expérience fantastique: I had an amazing experience at the Four Seasons Spa in Toronto for Thanksgiving weekend. The spa itself is luxurious, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind. I had a massage with Greg, who was absolutely fantastic—he was professional, attentive, and made sure the whole experience was relaxing and tailored to my needs. The location is perfect, offering a serene escape right in the city. Highly recommend Four Seasons Spa and will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Expérience fantastique: Had a lovely spa day at the Four Seasons. Spent some time by the heated pool before my service. Had a relaxing facial with a wonderful face massage from Kathy. Then relaxed with a chamomile tea in the lounging area. The amenities are beautiful. There are crystals in the treatment rooms as well as in the water decanter. The robs are soft and fluffy. They have truly thought of everything. Highly recommend.
Expérience fantastique: The bespoke (post-surgery) massage provided to my spouse was excellent. The facilities and service are what you would expect from a Four Seasons.
Expérience fantastique: Exactly what you would expect from the 4 Seasons. The amenities are first class. You get to wear a 4 Seasons robe to die for. The massage starts with a choice of aroma oils. The massage is wonderful. When it's over, your robe has been warmed. Steam room, showers all with excellent products. Not cheap but worth it.
Expérience fantastique: Wonderful experience. Great check in and introduction to the services provided. Team was extremely knowledgeable. Very relaxing overall.
Expérience positive: The facilities are beautiful and the service was great. My massage was amazing. I probably won’t come back because I didn’t like that there were hotel guests by the pool working on laptops, FaceTiming in the hot tub, and lots of kids playing and splashing in the pool.
Expérience négative: One of the staff was unprofessional and lacked basic respect for their clients.
Expérience fantastique: Everyone was super detail orientated and the service was impeccable. I would say that the service was very standard for four seasons across the globe, but they were very attentive and tried to accommodate to all of our needs very patient as well. I would come back again if I were to come back to the four seasons.
Expérience fantastique: This is by far my favourite spa in the city to escape to! The amenities are wonderful, but the service is what brings me back every time. I highly recommend Greg for RMT services, he gave the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had at my last visit (thank you!) and Geeta for facials/body treatments. She is the sweetest soul and will leave you glowing! Can’t wait for my next visit :)
Expérience fantastique: My favourite spa in Toronto. They have all the amenities and staff are friendly. There are small bites and tea at the lounge.
Expérience fantastique: Getting my services done at the Four Seasons Spa in Toronto is so much more than just a massage or a facial. It is an opportunity to have a mini healing getaway! Since I am a Reiki master and constantly giving my healing, light energy to others, It's an amazing blessing to be able to come here and completely recharge mentally, physically, and spiritually. All of their amenities are always clean and the staff is always outgoing classy, and nice.
Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend a facial with Monique she is highly skilled at explaining the procedure and is very good at what she does. Relaxing and enjoyable experience!
Expérience fantastique: Good one in Toronto downtown & very clean. Bit pricey though. Could have add more complimentary services for the clients at this price.
Expérience fantastique: I love their spa. It’s soooo relaxing and the facilities are wonderful. Their facial it’s are also amazing and definitely worth the price
Expérience fantastique: Been going every 7 weeks or so for the oxygen 3-in-1 facial. Absolutely love Julia & Sophia for aestheticians, great relaxing experience
Expérience fantastique: Best massage & amazing body wrap !!
Expérience fantastique: Everything is absolutely amazing at this spa. We normally spend the day. There is a steam room, swimming pool , lounge with refreshments and a hot tub. Never a disappointment.
Expérience fantastique: This is our go to spa in the city, it is so nice and relaxing. Cecilia and Greg are our favourite RMTs! The best massages we’ve ever had ♀️
Expérience fantastique: Mary Jane was amazing, very caring and gentle. It was a well deserved massage after a terrible dental experience I endured last week. I was finally able to relax and get my get my mind off the horrific experience. Will be returning soon....
Expérience fantastique: Fabulous spa! Took my 2 teenage sons for their first facials and they loved it.
Expérience positive: The experience was excellent. Lovely facilites, professional staff and great atmosphere. There were a few things that I think for the price should be expected such as better hair driers, a hotter steam room and some sort of a menu easily accessible to order food and drinks.
Expérience négative: As a longtime patron of the Four Seasons Spa in Toronto, it is with great disappointment that I write this review. Over the years, I have witnessed a steady decline in the quality of service and overall ambiance of this establishment, to the extent that I can no longer justify returning. Firstly, let me address the issue of the front-desk staff. Their attitudes have become increasingly indifferent, lacking the warmth and professionalism one would expect from a renowned spa. Instead of feeling welcomed and valued as a customer, interactions with the staff have often left me feeling overlooked and unimportant. Furthermore, the state of the pool area is nothing short of a disaster. On multiple occasions, I have found the atmosphere to be chaotic and far from conducive to relaxation. It is baffling to encounter individuals screaming into their phones, disruptive children running amok (even during designated non-family swim hours), and an overall sense of overcrowding that detracts from any semblance of tranquility. As a loyal client of over a decade, my expectations were not met, let alone exceeded. The decline in the Four Seasons Spa's standards has reached a point where I can no longer justify investing my time and money into an experience that consistently fails to meet even the most basic standards of comfort and relaxation. Regrettably, I must assign a rating of 1 star to reflect my immense disappointment. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the management of the Four Seasons Spa in Toronto, prompting them to reevaluate their practices and strive for the excellence that their reputation once promised. As for me, I have chosen to take my business elsewhere, seeking out establishments that prioritize the satisfaction and well-being of their clientele. Farewell, Four Seasons Spa – it is with a heavy heart that I bid adieu to a once-beloved sanctuary of relaxation.
Expérience fantastique: Beautiful facial. What’s not to love? I’ll be back for a girl’s day by the pool.
Expérience positive: Had a massage with Mary Jane in 2017 and went back for another massage years later!! She is still there coz she’s excellent! Not to mention that the whole spa experience is simply perfect. Definitely worth the $$
Expérience positive: Poor massage experience. I went yesterday for a couple's massage with my husband. I'm only giving 3 stars as he enjoyed his massage and got a great experience while mine wasn't so much. - My RMT wasn't competent at all and didn't know how to work muscles, she was barely touching my skin (I asked for medium) and pressing with her elbow most of the time. The experience was WAY below my expectations. Even the scalp massage was the worst I've had. She would pull the pillows from under my legs (I'm 5 months pregnant) without letting me know while my eyes closed were closed - did it twice so my legs would fall outside the bed. - The room was very cold for me and I made sure to let her know twice yet nothing happened, I was freezing the entire time. Once I was done no one asked me about my experience or if the massage was good or any kind of feedback. We paid a total of $670 CAD and they didn't even bother to ask how the massage was. They just asked for a minimum of 18% gratuity without interest in how our experience was.
Expérience fantastique: Unreal experience every single time…. Marius is magical and the heated massage beds make the experience a 15/10. I can’t get enough of this place.
Expérience négative: Wanted to treat myself for my birthday so booked a massage with an RMT. The massage was okay, but considering how much I paid (knowing that I am paying extra for the amenities) it was nowhere near worth it. I have never seen a "spa" with kids running around and doing back flips into the pool ... I am assuming this is the communal pool for hotel guests as well. There is no strict policy or at least common courtesy from some guests, as I sat in the lounge area listening to someone wait on hold and make a call to Service Ontario on SPEAKER PHONE. I was so underwhelmed and disappointed. If you are going for the amenities, I would say your money will be spent better elsewhere.
Expérience fantastique: My favorite spa in the city. If you’re going to treat yourself, this is the spot. My husband and I go for facial dates and Ive been with girlfriends too. So luxurious and relaxing.
Expérience fantastique: This is the place to be for ending your busy successful week . Always the best .
Expérience fantastique: Awesome experience. Stayed at the hotel 2 nights, used the pool and facilities 2 twice daily, never crowded at all. Always peaceful. Had a massage (60 min), was just perfect in all ways. Special thank you to my RMT Hanna. Will visit again for sure.
Expérience fantastique: I’ve being seeing Christine Genga here for many years. No one more talented with cut and colour.
Expérience fantastique: My husband and I went here for our anniversary for a staycation and it was one pf the most pleasant experiences we had! I can’t wait to come back to this place
Expérience positive: Went to the spa for a facial and was hoping for a relaxing day at their pools and hot tub. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case with kids running around being quite loud. Other guests were disturbed as well. Facial was great but was definitely not the relaxing day I was looking for.
Expérience fantastique: Amazing treatment and customer service. This is my third visit. Highly recommend this Spa.
Expérience fantastique: Well maintained facility with professional staff.
Expérience fantastique: The best spa ever
Expérience fantastique: I had my best massage with the male massotherapist named Estvan. (hope I spell it right) I highly recommend him.
Expérience positive: The spa and facilities are amazing and everything is well kept and clean. The massage was very mediocre and not worth the price.
Expérience fantastique: One of the best massages ever! Great staff!
Expérience fantastique: Nice relaxing place. Went there for facial for first time and it’s worth it. The ambience is excellent. Sophia really did a great facial and massage. The best thing was the chime being ringed before starting facial. Booked Signature deep cleansing facial, products were mild and smelt good. And you can easily commute there on transit …
Expérience fantastique: So luxurious and relaxing, great massages and kind staff.
Expérience positive: The service and atmosphere is do good, but the food is awful, I ordered truffle fries and pasta, it was very bad taste like frozen food!
Expérience négative: The blowdryer buttons were malfunctioned and had cut my finger. I showed one of the workers and she just kept trying to fidget around with it not sure what she was trying to do when I told her about it…offered me another blowdryer..I asked if it was the same make she said yes…I just told her I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else and to not have it out. At the concierge I was asked how everything was..I answered everything was good except for the fact that my finger got cut due to the blow dryer and she just sounded very scripted and just said “sorry that happened to you” and proceeded with my check out. I’ve been to better spas. I thought the four seasons would be top 5 at least but no where close to that. Thanks for the bandaid.
Expérience négative: They are trying to recoup money by mandating 90 minute massages on weekends. The RMT spent 15 minutes playing with the ends of my hair because she was as bored as I was (because 90 minutes was too long). Used to be so good pre-pandemic. Now I'm seeking a new spa to frequent.
Expérience fantastique: The best spa in the city.
Expérience fantastique: Overall wonderful experience from start to end. The facilities are beautiful and have all the amenities one can look for in a spa, everyone that works here is welcoming and, the most important, my massage was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. I did not want it to end and I will definitely book again.
Expérience fantastique: I had a lovely spa day at the Four Seasons today. I got a massage and used their pool and steam room amenities. Very clean and luxurious facilities. 10/10!
Expérience négative: TL;DR Massage✩✩✩✩✩ Staff★★★★★ Pool★★★★✩ Spas should provide good massages. I paid $378 plus $60 for the tip, but it was worth maybe $150 at most. I went there yesterday for 90 min deep tissue massage. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and nice, but the massage was very disappointing. -Massage The general ambiance was calm and relaxing. I always get deep tissue because I enjoy strong pressure, but this one was pretty bad. The massage therapist was nice, but she didn't know how to apply right pressure to the body parts and kept hurting my bones. Because she gave too much pressure to the edge of my skin, I felt like my skin got pinched constantly. When she was massaging with her hands, it was too gentle, but with her elbows, she just pressed me down so hard. It was very uncomfortable and hurting. Also when she was done with one of my legs, she didn't cover it with the sheet till she was done with my other leg and just left it out. It was covered in oil so I felt very cold during the massage. At least it was nice to have some heating pad on my back. She also didn't really do my hands which I love the most during massages. She did touch one of my hands for a couple of seconds and moved on. And I think she forgot to do my other hand. The massage was uncomfortable and not relaxing at all and definitely not worth the money. Today, I woke up with really bad back pain and am having a hard time with regular stuff such walking, sitting and just moving my body around in general. -Shower, washroom and lounging area The place was clean and seemed well managed. The cleaners were nonstop moving around cleaning. Not even a single trash in the garbage can. The snack bar had banana chips, sunflower seeds, protein bars, teas and coffee which was nice to have while waiting for your massage. -Pool and hot tub The pool was not bad. It's something like you see at luxury condos. Nothing too special. The hot tub was amazing though. There were enough kids making enough noises. Not that I complain, just saying it was more family-friendly atmosphere than a relaxing or romantic one. It could be different at any other time or day. Very disappointing and not satisfying visit in general.
Expérience fantastique: A wonderful spa experience. My partner and I came for our anniversary and had a spectacular time. It is a cozy and quiet space, very well maintained, with plenty of space to have your own personal moment of relaxation. The steam room and outdoor terrace were borne highlights in terms of amenities. The aromatherapy massage is lovely and the two RMTs that took care of us, Mariana and Jeff, were fantastic. The front desk and cleaning staff were all great too, calm and perfectly welcoming. It is definitely a pricier spa experience, but for celebrations or once-in-a-while self-care moments, well worth it! We’ll be back.
Expérience fantastique: One of the best massages I have had for a while
Expérience fantastique: RMT Mary Jane Agustin is a true expert in massage therapy. Her session was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. Highly recommended!
Expérience fantastique: I have been to MANY spas and have had more massages than I can count. But I will tell you, I experienced THE BEST deep tissue massage I’ve ever had from Tiane at the Spa at Four Seasons Toronto. I’m still floating on a cloud! And it’s the little things, such as warming my robe and providing coconut water and maple syrup lozenges at the end. 90 minutes was not long enough! Thank you, Tiane and team! 5-stars all the way!
Expérience positive: Beautiful, full spa with good amenities. Quite pricey, compared to other spas at the same level with more amenities.
Expérience fantastique: Beautiful spa Huge thank you to Tien for taking such good care of all my needs and for being so informative and professional.
Expérience fantastique: Beautiful and relaxing experience. Facilities included when you receive a service. They don't over book which creates a serene and peaceful environment. Recommend making time to go early or stay later to enjoy the facilities.
Expérience positive: Supposed to be the best in the city! I came in 2020 and it was meh. But I went again June 2023 and the services are much improved. I did a 60-minute deep tissue which was great and had all these extras like more scents to select from and misting your feet. The loss of one star from this review is due to the very slow front desk logistics. I came in at 10:30 they didn't let me into the change room until 10:47 mainly because the iPads were incredibly slow to load and Wi-Fi was abysmal. 17-minutes to check in is quite long when I already have info on file and filled out the form. For the caliber of this hotel, their administration is lagging. Also when it came time to pay the payment machines are 2-3 minutes longer than regular POS systems in other merchants. Four Seasons Spa the massage was excellent, please fix your computers.
Expérience fantastique: Such a beautiful spa. I’ll definitely be back! I feel like they don’t overbook people which is nice because often I had the whole pool or sitting area to myself so it was ultimate relaxing. I also went on a weekday which could have been why. Everything from the music to the ambience was so relaxing. I did the lime and macadamia 90 minute scrub and wrap and my god was it absolute heaven. The staff are amazing. The facilities are so clean. For anyone that’s going with the opposite gender, the pool and hot tub area in these pics are shared which is nice. The steam rooms are in the changing rooms. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Expérience fantastique: Absolutely love the spa! Gone twice now for a massage and it's helped with my shoulder pain. The dressing room is absolutely beautiful with so many amenities. This has become a date spot!
Expérience fantastique: Of all the Toronto facials in this price range, this is my favourite. Every time I’ve gone, it’s been extremely calming and relaxing with a beautiful, maybe soundproof room, my choice of music, and comfortable bed. Most important (for me), the entire time that I am in the room, my aesthetician’s hands never leave my body. Whenever the “leave on treatment” parts of the facial are working, they spend that time giving arm/hand or scalp massages. They must keep all the mixes and lotions close at hand and prepared because moving from one stage to the other is seamless. You will feel like a pampered prince/ss.
Expérience fantastique: I had a fantastic facial massage and shellacking services at 4season hotel. Everything was amazing and phenomenal. The facial massage was of the best massage ever and the shellac were gorgeous and flawless. It stayed with me for more than a month. ( I still have them on my feet but the hand’s are gone). I was there for about 6 hours so I need to order food. Oh my!!! The food was one of the kind. Amazing! Amazing. I definitely recommend the services. Beside all these, the staff were so caring and available for you if you need anything.
Expérience positive: We did a couples massage. I gave this a 4 because my girlfriend loved the guy who did her massage. I did not get a good massage. I think the girl was new. Very disappointed especially when you’re paying top dollar.
Expérience fantastique: I’ve been meaning to come to this spa for a very long time and finally I did a few days ago. I started with 1 hour deep tissue massage and I loved it!!! My RMT, Marius, was excellent, welcoming and very professional. The facilities are amazing, I specially loved the steam room, it was super super hot!! OMG and the bathrobes were so cozy, especially all warmed up after the massage! I relaxed on their beds, their lounge areas as well as by the pool. All the staff was extremely welcoming and super friendly, I had such a wonderful time at this spa. Definitely a must try spa in Toronto!!!
Expérience fantastique: Wonderful relaxing experience at the Four Seasons Spa. First off, I love that you get access to the facilities when you go in for a massage. They have a steam room, hot tub and large swimming pool. I started off with a massage from an MT, the space was dimly lit with nice relaxing music and essential oils permeating the air. The MT was very pleasant and sweet - she was very attentive during the massage. The facilities are beautiful - I stayed for a couple hours after my massage. It was really relaxing and I did a cycle of breath work + steam room + hot tub + swimming. The ambiance here is so lovely I could stay here forever. Highly recommended - TREAT YO’ SELF!
Expérience fantastique: The spa is one of the best I've been to. Definitely one of the best in Toronto. The facial and full body massages are both worth every dollar. Yes they are pricey however go back every time! Definitely recommend
Expérience fantastique: Yvonne my nail technician was absolutely incredible , best mani pedi ever had anywhere ever !!!! She was kind professional sweet n it was so relaxing. Enjoyed every minute! Thank you. Sondra
Expérience fantastique: Enjoyed my Saturday afternoon relaxation spa with wonderful staff.
Expérience positive: Beautiful spa, excellent treatment. Five star. My criticism of this beautiful spa experience is the food and beverage service offered for lunch or snacks. I almost think they shouldn't bother, because it taints an otherwise wonderful experience. I knew that it would take a while for the food to arrive, so it wasn't that. It was their complete lack of awareness regarding food allergies and how to substitute or work with them. I even notified them ahead of time about the allergies and also advised the Concierge, yet the staff and kitchen seemed to be almost caught off guard when I mentioned it. For instance, because the dressing contained something I couldn't have (sesame), they sent three lime wedges instead of a sending a different dressing. For a Four Seasons, that was a disappointing substitution. I then asked for a dressing of some sort and she returned with a small bottle of olive oil. I was not impressed. Because we had a negative experience several months prior that they were made aware of when I booked this day, I expected this visit to make up for that, and it fell short of expectation. Definitely not a Four Seasons experience. My advice to the Management is either improve your foodservice training and educate the kitchen and wait staff or don't bother offering meals at all. Both times, the meal has ruined our otherwise enjoyable and relaxing spa experience.
Expérience positive: My 3rd time here. I was disappointed at the snacks selection no variety. They also now have a menu I got the Cesar salad, which was dry and chicken breast, which was also dry and served on the side instead of with salad. Pressed fresh juice was good but all meny items over priced for quality. Massage was great but the overall experience at spa was not worth what I spent.
Expérience fantastique: My first spa experience and it was super amazing!!! Staff was very professional and helping during the whole visit. Recommended!
Expérience négative: Very cold welcome. Staff used the change room like a clubhouse, with very loud conversations. Staff very loud when showing new clients around. I wouldn't recommend going to use the facility before your treatment, it wasn't relaxing.
Expérience positive: The space feels luxurious and the staff are nice. I got the aromatherapy massage and found it to be relaxing and thorough. The pool and hot tub areas also offered a soothing atmosphere, and the steam bath was clean. The biggest critique is that, during my visit, one of the other clients was either very drunk or coming down from something they took. It ended my experience on an uncomfortable note, and diffused any of the comfort I previously felt. I know this is something that staff can’t control, but I hoped that someone would intervene and check in on the client.
Expérience fantastique: Always a great time at FS with the family
Expérience fantastique: Arguably the best spa in Toronto. Attentive staff, excellent treatments, beautiful surroundings. Can’t be beat!
Expérience fantastique: Expensive, but worth it. The pools, the lounge area, the food, the services. All top notch.
Expérience positive: I had great massage here at Four Seasons. Amazing top notch service provided by everyone, and they were also able to accommodate my last minute changes. Luxurious environment, and endless amenities. While the massage was great, I do have to say it wasn’t the best I had. I also couldn’t figure out the hot water from the shower.. only cold water would come out even if I turn the nozzle all the way to H.
Expérience négative: I used to frequent the Four Seasons spa at this location for massage therapy. After my visit last Saturday I likely won't be returning. The massage was ok, and the staff were friendly but the place was absolutely packed and no longer even has a spa vibe. One of the main reasons I used to go here was that you could relax in the spa pool and hot tub after (or before the massage). You can still do this but they allow all their hotel and residence guests as well as gym users to access the spa pool and locker rooms. Last Saturday the spa pool and hot tub were totally filled beyond any logical capacity. The chaise lounges were littered with used towels and there wasn't even sitting room at the poolside. The front desk said there were multiple bachelorette parties, which is why they were so loud and also drinking tons of champagne (while still in the pool... Is that even legal?). Meanwhile, they still do a COVID screener which takes a few minutes when you check in. Great... except for two things; 1. The pandemic is over. 2. There was a very sick man coughing and sneezing all over the locker room and of course, not covering his face. Why bother with the COVID questionnaire if you're still going to let in visibly sick people? Oh and final point, my massage with no extras came to over $300 with only a $20 tip.
Expérience fantastique: I love this place. Everyone is very friendly and polite. It is very clean, amenities are beautiful, overall a perfect place for a self-care day ☺️
Expérience positive: Amazing experience with very meticulous and thoughtful masseuses. I do wish that the lounge had more spots to rest. Also beware that the pool is shared with four seasons guests so the Sunday I went was filled with children which was not ideal. All in all, I would still recommend this spa as their service, facility and ambiance was unparalleled to most. I hope this helps :)
Expérience négative: The place was ok. I did not get a call to confirm my appointment the day before which did not feel very professional. The lounge area is inside the respective female and male washroom which makes it not couples friendly. The only co-ed space was the swimming pool and hot tub which were loud, crowded, not very relaxing. The massage was ok. The RMT was chatty. The constant supply of fresh towels and the steam room were nice. Other than that, nothing about my experience felt particularly premium. The women’s changing room was so crowded that there was a line to the washroom at one point and someone opened my door while I was naked and showering. Overall, I had a very mediocre experience and probably would not return. I prefer less busy spas!
Expérience fantastique: I had such a wonderful experience here on Thursday. I came to treat myself for my birthday and all of the staff were wonderful, attentive and accommodating. I got the elemental facial and a salt stone massage and both were so relaxing. Last time I was here there were still pandemic parameters in place so the steam room was closed and they weren’t taking any facial appointments so it was great to indulge this time! Lula, Cecile and the girl who did my facial (her name began with an A) were all so lovely ❤️
Expérience fantastique: Absolutely amazing, relaxing experience. Love this spa.
Expérience positive: The massage and indoor amenities were fine. The outdoor terrace was very noisy with city construction going on. I would recommend going maybe when the construction isn’t happening on the weekends to have a calmer experience.
Expérience fantastique: This spa is a must visit while in Toronto. It is on the pricy side however it is well worth it. My mom enjoyed the Himalayan salt stone massage which she said was one of the best massage she's had. The spa has little snacks and tea/water in their lounge. We were not impressed by the plastic cups, however this is a minor detail. The facilities and service at this spa is top notch!
Expérience fantastique: This is a very relaxing and centering experience.
Expérience positive: I booked myself in for the Himalayan salt stone massage which I can say was absolutely, fabulously done by the RMT. Very pleased with the service offered. Love this treatment, A1. However, the pool and hot tub amenities area were a bit noisy on this particular day and overly crowded with people and kids. My goal of arriving early was to " relax & unwind" before my massage, the same as my prior visits. I was under the impression 12 Noon to 4Pm was relaxation time. This experience was a first. Staff are friendly professional and take great pride in providing high end services at this Spa / Hotel and the place is immaculately clean and high end. One of the best in Toronto. I am hoping it was just a busy day and a one off because I truely do wish to continue booking here. I will be checking when busier times are before I do so. :)
Expérience fantastique: This spa is great. Loved the pools and massage we got. The price is on the higher side but I would recommend it if you’re wanting to go to a nicer spa but don’t have time to go to some of the bigger spas outside of the city.
Expérience fantastique: Honestly, Greg is the best massage therapist I have ever had. I went to several massage therapists in Toronto or even different countries, but by far he has been the best. Every time I’m in pain because of muscle fatigue and lactic acid in winter time, having a deep massage by him, has made me feel better. The spa facility is also convenient and the hot tub part is my favourite. I’ll be looking forward to spending my first paycheque after my graduation this year on massage services. Lol
Expérience négative: A few weeks ago I got a pedicure done at the spa. I will not talk in details about the quality of the service and will rate it as an average. I want to talk about the overall impression after visiting the spa. When I entered the spa, at least the part where they do pedicures and manicures, I felt like I got into the 90s. It probably hasn't been upgraded since then. The Esthetician offered me a tea before the start of the service and I agreed. I was shocked when, at the spa of a five-star hotel, she brought me a tea in a plastic reusable cup without a saucer, spoon or even a napkin. If a plastic glass is repeatedly washed, it becomes dull and untidy, and I didn't get the impression that I was getting a high-level service that costs well over $100 and is called DeLuxe. When the Esthetician saw that I was going to take the tea bag out and put it on the table, she took the pedicure tools out of the sterilization bag and suggested that I put the tea bag on it. I have been to few Four Seasons Hotels in Europe and expected to see the same high level of service. I'm surprised that the spa at a Toronto hotel is of such low standard compared to other hotels of the Four Seasons chain.
Expérience fantastique: A fabulous place to spend my birthday. Everyone was friendly and professional.
