Expérience négative: Coming here in this gym from last 2 years never had any issue with any staff .. but there is a girl name with PRABH KAUR , she is always in different kind of attitude, she should atleast know that she is working here , so she should have manners to talk with people here , im hoping that abusive language is not something management teach in oreintation/ training .. Pissing with customers , talking rudely is really not a good thing though

Expérience positive: The staff at the mcphillips location are very friendly and seem helpful. For the price the gym is very well equipped and maintained. I would have kept my membership here going but there are so many patrons who have yet to discover the marvel of running water and deodorant. It gets so so bad in the afternoon you walk in the gym and the smell will literally take your breath away. The gym needs to enforce a hygiene policy as the patrons who have this issue really don't seem to care.

Expérience négative: 99% of the people here do not wipe down or change shoes. Staff does not mention it to them and staff spends more time hanging out with friends or talking to girls than cleaning the place or helping people out at the front desk. If I had another gym closer I’d switch but sadly this is the only choice I have. People always slamming weights/ machines and staff not correcting that as well.
Expérience négative: UPDATE : OVER A MONTH LATER AND STILL NOT RESOLVED - I fully recommend dealing with another company if you are looking for a gym. They have not contacted me or resolved this issue, and for anyone who knows, being a single parent in this time is hard to do. I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Fit4Less. After cancelling my son's membership on May 21st, 2024, I was assured only two payments remained. Despite this, a withdrawal was made on July 4th, 2024, causing multiple NSF charges and significant financial distress, including a $90.00 charge from a bounced payment recipient. I am in the midst of switching financial institutions and the funds in this particular account are planned out and monitored. Fit4Less has been slow to resolve the issue, citing delays are because of a personal issue the manager was away from, also their " policy stating that there is a two week hold period" which is nowhere in their contract whatso ever about a 45 day cancellation time- just 30 days, equivalent to 2 payments as the original person I talked to mentioned to me. Also, they have stated there is nothing they can do yet because they need a full bank statement even after I have explained the statement isn't available until the beginning of next month. I have sent screen shots directly after everything had been posted to my account showing all the charges I have been charged and emails and text alerts I have received from the recipient of bounced payments, theirs, and another. This should absolutely be enough "evidence" on my end for them to see all the details they need to solve this issue promptly. They have also mentioned to me that there was earlier knowledge of this, where their systems do not communicate properly with each other, and it has been happening to other members who have canceled. If I would have been notified that this was even a slight possibility at the time of cancelation then there never would have been any issues for the $10.00 payment, instead I am stuck with $170.00 in fees. Fit4Less McPhillips has left me financially vulnerable with impending payments and insufficient funds due to their lack of communication and prompt resolution. If I could give a negative star rating I would - I fully recommend signing up with Planet Fitness - AVOID FIT4LESS

Expérience fantastique: I worked out here while staying in Winnipeg a few days ago. The staff were very helpful even though there was an issue signing me in because I'm from our of province. They were both super nice. I did not get there names but they are doing a great job. The gym is huge, like enormous. It was very busy but I had no problems getting in a great workout. They have everything you can want. I had a great experience and thought it was a great gym. 5/5

Expérience positive: Spacious Gym, Well equipped, Enough packing space, but the neatness is average. Most people using this gym are not used to wiping equipment after use. Almost all other equipment aside the treadmill has used paper towels tucked inside the cup holder. I will recommend they work on cleaning the gym more than overloading with more equipment.

Hair collecting at the base of the machines and in the corners you can tell the cleaners have Def had the Month off ,and that's if they even have cleaners ,you would have a safer and cleaner workout at your local school playground ,how can a person that works there walk by this mess and not try to even clean it up ,if I could give less than one star I would ,and I'm sure I'm not the only person that. Is worried about catching a disease being here!

Expérience positive: Been going to this location since it opened, And when I tell you we finally got deadlift platforms and more squat racks, plus exclusive Black area 100 lbs dumbbells. Can’t wait for larger showers! Overall great improvement to this already inexpensive gym.

Expérience négative: Absolutely disgusting that after 4 plus years of paying for a membership I very rarely use, they want to charge me for a replacement card as I’ve lost mine. I’ve likely been their most profitable member if you calculate price per gym visit. Easiest decision ever to just cancel. Sometimes it comes down to principle.

Expérience négative: Very unprofessional behaviour, went there for a signup, waited at the gates for a few minutes then a girl came and indicated me to wait without asking what i was there for. After waiting for another 5 minutes while she was on her phone and totally forgot that i was there. Then a gentleman was nice enough to come and ask me what i was there for, never let me in again just handed the pamphlet and went on his way. Lack of training and consideration at its best. Very disappointing

Expérience négative: Great place to work out. Nice ppl. The only setback is that the place is not clean , I would say AT ALL. Only someday when they clean, it looks clean. But on usual days you'll find chewing gum , a lot of hairs, papers, etc on the floor, especially near machines, all CORNERS , bathrooms . If cleaning and maintenance took place often every week, it would be much better. Otherwise, it's a good place to sweat. Thanks.

Expérience positive: Spacious and tons of equipment to use. I suggest avoiding evening hours on weekdays when the gym is overcrowded, it is the worst time and day to go! Some gym rats who think they're slick leave sweat behind on seats and equipment and don't bother sanitizing. Also be on the lookout for the old geezer constantly walking around terrorizing the gym, thinking he owns all the equipment, lol. Overall, a great gym atmosphere.

Expérience positive: When going to the gym, we wait at least 10 minutes for someone to come to the reception to ask to turn on the massage chairs. It's terrible that there is no one on duty in the hall. It’s a terrible discomfort that after a good workout you can’t get what you want and what you’ve already paid for. Please fix this.

Every time I come there I always see a couple of staff flirting and talking to each other even during peak hours when there are people waiting either at the desk or by the door. Also, I always witness them locking themselves either in the staff room or the room where you guys store your cleaning stuffs leaving the desk unattended. This behaviour should not be tolerated by management!

Expérience positive: Honestly a good price/deal especially for beginners who wants to start their fitness journey! A lot of different machines and (squat) racks as well as smith machines to choose from. I just wished they would add more water stations as they only had one. Also please make sure you wipe every time (before and after) you use anything in the gym! A lot of people don’t and clearly shows the lack of gym etiquette. Aside from the nasty people who don’t wipe at all, it’s a good gym!
Expérience positive: switched from pf because they're not 24 hours anymore :( good: - very spacious - lots of machines and weights - generally pretty clean - open 24 hours bad: - not enough cleaning stations - rowing machines don't work - not enough cardio machines in general - small lockers - old school water fountain (at least it's cold) - machines are also very old, need upgrading
Expérience négative: Overall it’s a great facility, the big issue that equipment is ALWAYS broken and there is only one service person assigned to all the GoodLife and Fit4Less locations. So equipment is often down for a month at a time. The cable machines are almost always desperately in need of lubrication. If these simple things were remedied this would be a 3.5 to 4 star review *EDIT* don’t even bother with this place. I’ve been here multiple times this week and I still haven’t been able to get on a cable machine, and it’s always a challenge to do so. The gym is WAY oversold, way too many members and not enough equipment. Spend an extra $10 to $15 per month and find another gym, it will save you a massive headache. Sad really, because the facility is solid

Expérience positive: The good: Huge facility. Good selection of machines. Most are in good working order. Staff are friendly. Lots of free weights and racks/benches. The bad: Most of which is directly attributed to the clientele. Dirty change rooms. People walk in with outdoor footwear. Dirty mat area for stretching. And for some reason, a large portion of users don't wipe down equipment after use. Lots of "gym bros" in the evening standing around equipment talking. Also only one water fountain.

Expérience négative: The cleanliness of this gym has severely declined since I joined this gym. The washrooms are disgusting, there’s always trash on the floors. And best of all no rules are enforced and when I brought it up to management that no one racks their weight(as I had a broken hand, fully casted up to my elbow) I was told “members” are welcome to say something to other members”… cool. I’ll keep that in my when you reduce my monthly fee because I pay to be here and shouldn’t take on responsibilities of your staff. The gym should be accessible for everyone and not dependent on if you can unrack the previous persons weight from a machine. people should be able to workout without being restricted due to the lackadaisical responsibilities of staff. Do better management. This gym also no longer has wifi and a questionable ac.

Expérience négative: No judgement plastered over the wall yet, people are mad kids wanna push their strength limits. Most of the same kids are under 18 and this gym is what they can afford. Most powerlifting gyms are 60$+ a month. Instead of getting mad at them why not encourage their strength goals. It’s crazy because most of you can’t lift any of the weight they do so you’re insecure and complain. NO JUDGEMENT ZONE is the motto so, if you wanna complain complain about the same people who slam the cable machines and leave them broken every week.

Expérience négative: I went there this morning, scanned my card and left side door was stuck and did not let me go inside. There was no staff member there and I was not able to scan my card again as I had to wait half an hour to do so. This is so annoying atleast put a sign on there if it is not working so others won't have to waste their time.
Expérience négative: The only person who deserves a 5 star rating is of one of your staff members at the Mcphillips location, Jay, who I have seen hustling everyday to ensure that clients are happy, the gym is clean, and machines are in well working order. He really should be the manager of this place as his work ethic has turned around the customer experience and overall atmosphere of the gym. I voiced concerns to the manager who used to work there, for example when clients were having to wait outside in -30 weather, she told me she really didn't care if people had to stand outside, or when most of the carabiners were stolen from the gym, which there was no answer to when they would be replaced. I even contacted Fit4Less through their social media channels, was supposed to receive a call from the District Manager about the issues I have faced, but was never called nor followed up with. When I voice concerns to Jay, he listens, and addresses them immediately. Terrible that the corporate sector of this company places incompetent people in managing positions, does not invest in their staff that are breaking their backs to keep their clients happy, nor do they care about client satisfaction or the client experience. I hope Fit4Less contemplates some senior leadership changes and begins to support the staff working in their gyms.

Expérience négative: SO Dumb how you have to pay for another card when you forget your membership ship card because you used your “one free pass” when you forget it the first time. No longer offers the key cards which are better because then you won’t lose or forget the card version because it’ll attach to keys. Manager is ridiculous at the winnipeg location. We’re gym regulars and have seen us come in almost every single day yet can’t just look into the computer to confirm we have a membership? Staff barely do anything as compared to Planet fitness staff who are constantly cleaning. Too bad I don’t like the PF gym and equipment. Customer service is lacking
Expérience positive: You get what you pay for. When I had my membership I was paying $7 biweekly which is an amazing price! However I often felt too crowded inside the gym during the times I wanted to go. Since it is such a cheap price, it's a given that there's going to be a lot of people there. If you don't mind the crowd, and don't mind waiting for machines if you go during a busier time, I'd definitely recommend this gym if you're not looking to spend a lot on a gym membership! All the staff I've interacted with have been super nice and friendly. They're always cleaning too! I think they recently brought back their 24/7 hours so that's a plus!

Expérience fantastique: I was at the gym yesterday and was totally amazed by Matt who does maintenance on the equipment.l inquired on a piece of equipment that was waiting for repair and he immediately did everything he could to fix it. Very efficient.

Expérience négative: Not sure what happened to 24/7 but very disappointed that they changed it. How can you close a gym at 10pm in weekdays should be 12am so then it Is more flexible for people that workout at night. operation hours needs to be changed both weekdays and weekends. This gym has so much potential but management is just so bad. nothing is ever clean, broken machines for decades.

Expérience fantastique: Nice place to work out during the pandemic you have to reserve your spot well in advance. Each reserved session just lasts for 75 mins and you can't book for more than two slots at a time. After all good to start with especially with its decent pricing.

Expérience fantastique: For it's price $4.99 b/w they have almost everything you need for whatever workout you do. The free weighs (dumbells) 75lb max though.
Expérience négative: I would give it a 0 if i could, the worst service and had to block their payments from my bank! They will keep charging you even if you cancel the membership or freeze the membership, i tried to get my money back they said sorry our management team isn't doing anything about it!!!

Expérience négative: Today I successfully booked my session, but upon entry (after I had scanned in) the manager very rudely told me to leave because they were above capacity. I can understand the capacity issue, but she did not provide any sort of resolution. This is an issue for me on 2 levels: 1, the Fit4Less system shouldn't allow bookings if it is at capacity, and 2 if members are going to be denied entry AFTER scanning in, there should be a way to cancel/remove the booking so that at least we can sign up for another slot later in the day. Overall, this is an extremely frustrating experience for members. Fit4Less makes it clear that they do not care about members and do not value customer feedback. After the way I was treated today in the club makes me want to cancel my membership and report this issue, since Fit4Less was above capacity anyways and can get fined. The booking system needs to be more thorough, as are other gyms and the manager needs to treat all members with respect.

Expérience négative: Big gym at winnipeg fit4less but they only allow like 30 people to workout at a time. Very disappointing when you try to book an appointment, there's always nothing available. Gonna be changing gyms. There's no way to contact corporate so how do they know about complaints. Just hope they see this review.

Expérience fantastique: Always clean, great managnnet . I would give them 10 stars if possible. All these people who complain about them not picking up the phone is because they constantly get phone calls, they have no time to sanitise, deal with customers and then answer you phone calls bitchhing about them not answering.
Expérience négative: I have been paying every month for my black card membership and never able to get an appointment here. Plus its not 24 hours anymore so it's just very inconvenient and i don't feel like continuing with tgem anymore
Expérience négative: I am calling these guys to cancel my membership from 3 days and nobody is picking up the call. What this contact information is for to make no use of it! Although, whosoever has so much of time to physically go there and talk to them about it. I am having worst experience with this gym. Perhaps, they don’t have a managed staff to handle the customers. On the website as well, there is no option to cancel the service, only to join the gym that makes no sense to me.

Expérience négative: Gym good ! I am new member but my family joined your Gym last 3years . I have one and only complaint make call try for appointment ,try nobody give answer. .
Expérience négative: HUGE GYM! Completely empty! But won’t allow its customers to workout without appointment. So I set an alarm at 11 PM(when sign up opens) to book my workout(3 days advance) website crashes. I recheck at 1110, all the workouts are booked. great. Same thing next day. And the following. I try calling the front desk. NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE. LOVE THE GYM HATE THE MANAGEMENT.
