Expérience positive: Had the opportunity to use this gym when visiting from out of town recently. The equipment selection is great. There is a lot of space and options to vary a routine. The indoor track is a nice touch. Only issue I have is the lack of weight removal from machines and benches, despite the many signs. I was there early morning with only one other person. Every leg press, hack squat and most benches had plates on them. Most were a lot of plates. Other than that, it’s a great facility.

Expérience fantastique: For all that don't know the history of this wonderful place..... It used to be an old curling club. More recently, it was Lifestyles Family Fitness. Very hard workers at this location.

Expérience fantastique: For the price, best gym you could get. Has all equipment you could ask for. Very spacious, usually don’t have to wait long for things. 6 squat racks, 4 bench presses. I recently moved away from Windsor and this is the one thing that I miss about it

Expérience positive: No frills gym with lots of equipment, so even during peak times you aren’t waiting or restricted to a certain amount of time/sets. Gym itself is clean but the change rooms/washroom/showers need to be cleaned more often. Also, you effectively need to be a black card member to use this location, since 95% of the equipment is in the black card area. If you don’t want to pay for the black card (well worth it IMO) consider one of the other 2 locations in the city.

Expérience positive: Am Indian myself. People who are not aware how bad they smell (I’m talking to my own community right now) you should get kicked out right away. Stop embarrassing us and use some deodorant. Please!!!!!!!

I don’t like that you can only use your card once every 30 mins to use the main entrance, otherwise you need someone to let you in. I like that it offers tanning, massage chair and hydro beds for black card members. I also like that they are open 24/7

Expérience fantastique: Usually I use a different location but I was in the area today and decided to try out this gym. There was lots of equipment available for everything I could imagine needing and then some: Matt and the girl there around 1 (forgot to get her name) we’re extremely nice and helpful and made me feel safe and welcomed when I was initially really anxious about using a new gym :)

Expérience négative: I have a black card and today I had an emergency and needed to take my 6 year old son to take a shower with me. I was informed that we should leave as they do not allow under 16s in the gym. Even though I said I wasn't going to work out and I just needed to use the shower for my son. This attitude is regrettable.

Expérience négative: i finally returned to the gym from a 4 year leave after pandemic only to find the lockers rooms dirty, gum stuck to the floors in locker room , dust balls rolling around the edges of the lockers on the floor. showers don't work . the tread mills are old, they make all kinds of noise when you run on them. just a very unkept facility .

Expérience positive: I don’t frequent the gym often but I went back today after a few months off, it’s always intimidating returning to the gym but if you employ the right staff it helps. Unfortunately this location doesn’t. A young girl came out of the locker room in nothing but a towel wrapped around her as she politely got the attention of the staff member working at the counter and informed him the water had been turned off in the middle of her shower. He said he would turn it back on after he’s done with a customer but then said as per policy, water for showers is turned off every day at 3:30pm. The young woman responded by saying the website said it was 4:00pm. Instead of validating the fact SHE WAS SOAKING WET IN NOTHING BUT A TOWEL JUST WANTING TO FINISH HER SHOWER, the staff member started arguing with her and said “that’s our policy I don’t know what you want me to tell you.” The poor woman was in the middle of the lobby half naked. Like just turn the water back on. I went into the black card room to work out and I saw her go back into the locker rooms after telling him she will be canceling her membership before she leaves, and as she turned the corner he began laughing at her. Really really despicable and immature treatment from a staff member. Very clear display of unprofessionalism, how are people expected to attend a gym where they’re belittled by staff? People deserve to feel safe and like staff will help them with any issues, not be humiliated in the lobby. The website does say that water is turned off when there is not staff on shift, but there clearly was a staff member working and it was still turned off. Either employ more people or put up signs indicating the exact times we can expect the water to be off at. This review is mostly for people thinking of attending this location, since the staff just mindlessly reply “thanks for your review” on every posting here, like bots. I guess the memberships are cheap enough that they’re not worried about losing members but I don’t think I would want to attend a gym that cares this little about the comfort of members. I hope that young woman was able to successfully cancel her membership and is doing okay.

Expérience fantastique: Kind of a sad day at Fit4Less today. Everybody it was talking about today being Rob‘s last day. Hopefully his replacement will be half as good as he was . All the staff are amazing .Please enjoy the donuts.

Expérience positive: First time there at 830am this morning. I didn't catch his name but the man working the front desk was super kind and helfpful. Thw facilities could use some deep cleaning but it's not terrible. Opened a couple lockers before I found one without garbage in it.... members need to clean up after themselves. I did notice that no one seems to wipe down their machines or equipment after use... so make sure to do it before you use machines as well as after. Unfortunately there was a man screaming profanities while he was working out today which was very distracting but other than that it's a pretty good place so far.

Expérience fantastique: Arguably the best gym for the price in the city of Windsor. Likely also one of, if not the best Fit4less in the country because of it's size, equipment/free weight variety and amenities offered that aren't found at most Fit4less gyms (showers, full size change rooms, saunas, water fountains, tanning, massage beds, running track etc) While most amenities are only available during staffed hours (before 930pm weekdays & 330pm weekends and staffed holidays) the gym itself has 24 hour access every day of the year and the black card can be shared with friends and family when you aren't working out. Staff is friendly and the gym is as clean as one could reasonably expect with roughly 8 hours a day being unstaffed. Would definitely recommend this gym to most people.

Expérience négative: DON'T GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE!! I spent almost a year in this gym and I've been to almost every gym in Windsor and I'll tell you why you shouldn't get a membership here. 1. This gym is full of jerks, literally. Super unfriendly. Almost every two weeks there is a fight or a big argument in the gym and there would be a big scene infront of everyone. Top Management already knows all of this and knows all the jerks in the gym but they do nothing about it. I've witnessed members harassing others ,making fun of other members, claiming that they are using a certain machine or cable even though you are still using it. These things are very common in this gym from my 1 year experience in it. 2. Washrooms very dirty, on many occasions the washroom floor is full of piss and they would leave it like that for hours without cleaning it. You can imagine the smell in there. Not to mention that the locker room looks like you're inside a sewer. 3. Weights all over the floor. Gym is not organized and taken care of properly. one of the machines have been broken for almost a whole year. 4. The gym is very stinky and hot throughout the year. 5. Unwelcoming Environment: A hostile and uninviting atmosphere created by members. 6. Lack of Community and Support: I've noticed a distinct lack of community and support among members. The gym's atmosphere is often tense and competitive, rather than encouraging and motivating. 7. If you read all the above then you would know why this gym is cheap.

Expérience négative: the only reason im at this gym is the price other than that it is very unclean, the weights are never in order, none of the staff seem to be trained to do anything but mop and stand around and on top of that i upgraded to a black card so i could use more equipment and was told 5 business days it would allow me access to the entire gym and its been 2 weeks and no access to the entire gym just the for less area im canceling my upgrade tomorrow and as soon as i find a better gym im out. very unsatisfied with this gym.

Expérience fantastique: Fair prices, staff are nice and welcoming. If you get the black membership, you get access to the entire gym which is really spacious and has plenty of equipment. Lots of squat racks, benches, leg presses, etc. The only thing is there's just 1 hip thrust machine and the smith machines don't go low enough to hip thrust on them.

Expérience négative: Me and my partner have been going to this gym for about 3 months now, it is fine for ourselves however most staff do not create a welcoming environment, never saying hello or goodbye. Much to our surprise and disgust, in the upstairs workout area today, an elderly lady who disclosed she was almost 80, asked my boyfriend to teach her how to work the treadmill and the bike machine. She told him that she asked for help downstairs and was told someone would help her upstairs, where there are never any staff? After he was finished helping, which took all of 5 minutes, we went downstairs to complain as paying customers shouldn’t have to help but moreover, staff should have the common decency to help an elderly woman, and anyone for that matter who has questions about the machines. The staff member at the front, Robert lll, seemed very uncomfortable when we asked to speak with the manager. He informed us she wasn’t there at the moment. We proceeded to tell him the situation in which he responded “we don’t do that here”, assuming that she was asking for personal training, when it was her first time here and just needed some assistance. He seemed very dismissive of the situation, asked when the lady was here and when we told him it was just 5 minutes ago, he said only him and his manager would have been at the front desk. If you’re looking for a gym that’s able to help with the most basic of tasks or answering simple questions about machines on their first day at the gym, don’t go here. Clearly no regard for safety or compassion.

Not in great shape and I couldn’t figure most of them No space for ground exercises. No open floor. No turf Many common modern equipment are not present. Many dudes are working out without shirt Overall ambiance is not exciting and friendly Equipment are placed not in the best convenient way.

Expérience négative: Service was disappointing. Robert III (front desk) comes across as rude and impolite. He needs to work on his attitude or work in an environment where he doesn't have to interact with people. Also hope someone can learn from my mistake; there is a 30 day cancellation policy and if you want to contact a superior to dispute a charge, they have it so that you are unable to reach them.

Expérience négative: Gym is ok. But multiple pieces of equipment are not fit to be used. Like the 4 treadmills that will just randomly stop without warning saying check speed system. I have shown 2 staff members this and nothing gets done. So now when I come I watch for people about to use them and tell them not too. Not much care for safety here.

Expérience positive: Nice sized gym that isn’t too overcrowded regardless of the time you show up at. A few machines I would prefer aren’t here but other than that, perfect gym.

Expérience négative: As soon as they asked for a void cheque and my banking information, I turned and walked out. You don't need that for a gym membership. Also, if you want more people to join, I would get rid of the tall older gentleman who greets customers at the door.

Expérience négative: Don’t give organizations like this access to your banking info. Prepay in advance, have a contract in writing clearly dictating terms, and pay attention to any fine print. If they don’t accept that take your business elsewhere. I’ve been a member for years, and finally when I wanted to close (I was getting charged and had no access to the gym) it was a much bigger hassle than it needed to be. Finding someone who’s civil and knows how to do their job right isn’t easy, and that’s if you could get a hold of anyone at all. UPDATE: 8 months later and here I am still dealing with this issue. After going out of my way to settle this issue in person and dealing with attitude, I still receive hostile and harassing emails to this day, and still need to be on the look out with my financial institution so that they don’t attempt to charge my account. I’ve never set foot in this place for as long as I remember and I still am forced to deal with this hassle.

Expérience fantastique: I have been a member here for a few years and I enjoy it. The staff is very nice and the facility is very clean. Membership cost is very affordable also.

Expérience négative: The place itself is nice. Good equipment and great training area. The locker rooms are clean, although there is sometimes a stange odour. They have massage chairs and a water massage bed although its not that great. In terms of parking they have a whole parking lot so there's always a place to park. Issues I've noticed is that booking slots are never available. This is mainly due to the next slots available being opened at midnight and booked within a minute or two. Highly inconvenient for most who have to work in the morning and cant have a full nights rest. I would reccomend that the company changes the slot openings to perhaps mid day around lunch time. Another issue i found is that when calling the location there is no answer, whatsoever. A complete blackout on mobile communications. I asked the employees about this and they said that they do answer the phones, but i have been calling them constantly for a week straight without reply. In summary great fitness place and environment, but dont try calling them. Better off going to the location itself.
