Fit4Less à Richmond, Canada, est une salle de sport qui offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix grâce à son faible prix et à un accès 24/7, ce qui en fait un choix idéal pour les amateurs de gym occasionnels. La salle est généralement propre et bien entretenue, avec un personnel amical qui travaille dur pour offrir un environnement accueillant. Expérience positive: Three major downsides, apart from the obvious pro of being cost friendly; 1. Equipment takes too long to be repaired; Avg. waiting period based on observation seems to be 2 months; Plus non-broken machines are not maintained with WD-40s or other solutions; 2. Water filter needs changing. Do not believe it has ever been changed since it has been established since Apr this year (may even be earlier); 3. Functional room bad ventilation; Can feel the difference just by stepping in; Definitely worse when there are more than 3 people in their at the same time; Don't want to blame the staff for anything, most of which are controlled and dealt with by the corporate/company side, which is definitely not actively seeking to improve/update/maintain existing infrastructure. Likelihood of returning after yearly membership ends - 30%
Expérience positive: Dear fit4less, i’ve been working out at this location for long time now, good location, good environment and nice ppl. Regarding the staff, they need to do more than just standing, functional room is always dirty, barely see someone vacuuming and mopping that area, they need to show up at the peak hours, ppl are asking to use their black card for the amenities, but nobody is there for access. The machines takes forever to be fixed, some of them have 6 months already, idk how many time i’ve asked at the front desk, but hey couldn’t care less, many machines needs to be oil up, they got stuck every time you do a single rep and that could cause pain and injuries, pls, take matter to this ASAP.
Expérience positive: I've been going to Fit4Less for a couple of weeks, and so far, I'm pleasantly surprised given the low price. We recently moved from Vancouver, and a gym this cheap would usually be PACKED with people, to the point you can rarely even get a machine/bench without waiting. I was absolutely expecting the same for Fit4Less given it's low price, however it's quite the opposite. Considerably quieter than my former gym. Even in peak hours, it's not hard to get a workout in without waiting. Not once have I been asked "how many sets do you have left?" The equipment is also spotless and so far all in working order as well. I also prefer the clientele here vs. the gym in Vancouver, which used to be full of egotistical influencer types (male and female). None of that here. It's super chill. Now the negatives, and likely why serious gym goers don't go here. There are zero squat racks, a single barbell, and the heaviest dumbbell is a mere 75 pounds. All of that means this gym is for more casual gym goers, as anyone serious absolutely wants a squat rack and likely wants heavier dumbbells. A casual gym goer like myself, that can make do with benches, machines and moderate weight dummbells, will most likely appreciate this gym, especially if you prefer to avoid ego lifters throwing weights around. So far I like it, however if I do ever want to advance to heavier weights and barbells, I'll have to find a new gym.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym for its price. As it's also 24 hours. Friendly and helpful staff especially manager Bria at the Richmond location. But just be aware it's small gym and can get quite busy during peak times.

Expérience négative: Not saying its a bad gym, but during covid I had my money taken, No refund or anything. I had around 6 months left on my yearly premium membership. I realized too that if I went to water mania or miniru I could also enjoy a sauna after my work out. I enjoyed the gym, it was nice. Bike locks outside, showers and nice change room. Enough equipment and a lot of weights regardless of how many people were there when I went. Staff were friendly enough, they did their job. Big complaint if your going to get the premium membership, the message beds are amazing, however your going to have to ask them to turn it on every 10 minutes. I really enjoyed laying down on one for a bit after my workout and cardio. If it wasnt for the whole taking my money and running, id probably give it a 4/5 out of 5. Certainly worth it for the price I paid then, even when I went for the premium price for the extra perks.

Expérience négative: There’s a man who runs a dance group that takes up nearly the entire workout room in the early mornings. He plays very loud music during his “private session classes” and tells his “students” to meet him on certain days. This barely leaves any space for other gym goers to work out since his class has no concept of personal space and steps into other people’s personal spaces during their dance. I saw a lady cornered up in the corner attempting to do her workout. I don’t know if it’s allowed for people to run their own private classes, I advise the staff to regulate this issue. Other than that, the facility is usually clean and staff are on top of things.

Expérience fantastique: Working out across Canada using fit4less has been wonderful. Instead of feeling overtired coming all the way from Ontario, I feel wonderful and energized. My stop off in Vancouver at this location has been great. Very clean gym and friendly staff. Lucia, warm and welcoming, clearly the heart of the operation!

After researching about this gym I got to know they don’t care about the people they only care about the fees. I will be cancelling the membership soon! Expérience positive: So I've been coming here for many years now. Good gym overall. Great price (hence why it's so busy there...but that means wait times for machines often. So it's hard to get ur full workout routine in most days) Glad they finally added a water station. Long overdue. Added new lightning which is a good thing I guess but it is annoyingly bright for me Ive had no issues w/ the staff but there is alot of turnover and they tend to leave for awhile at a time which can be frustrating when u need help...also the paper towels and cleaner don't seem to get refilled as regularly as u'd expect Biggest complaints are when machines break. It usually takes a long time to get fixed. Sucks cuz some machines they only have 1 of Also, they got rid of all the sanitizer/ dispensers. There's only 1 little bottle hidden behind the front desk. Wish they still supplied it Like I said, overall the gym is good and priced well but u also get what u pay for ♂️

Expérience positive: Okay, so I give this a 4 star because the price is amazing and the hours works perfect for me as I'm a extreme early bird and prefer to be at the gym usually at 5:30 am. At 5am in the morning this gym is amazing, people are friendly and it is not crowded. Plenty of machines to use that are relatively new and not run down. Although that being said I have been to this gym during noon time and as well as 10pm at night when the place is packed and it was God awful which is why I couldn't give them a full 5 star. The gym works amazing for me because I'm a morning person, if you prefer to gym noon times, early evenings and even night time this gym may not be for you as it will be way too crowded for you to get a proper work out done.

Expérience négative: I've been going to this location for a couple years now. Sadly the gym has gone down. Many machines out of service and it takes months to get it fixed. Most staff are lazy and don't clean except for regular lady in the morning. The staff at night just sit in the office playing with their phones. The last straw was today they took away the paper towels and are now using reuseable rags, OMG EW! Sad to say I most likely won't renew my year pass with them.

Expérience négative: Stopped by to visit the gym to enquire about a membership. "Trainer" behind the counter was less than helpful. Couldn't be bothered to offer a facility tour, was told to just walk around and look What I saw was an overcrowded, poorly equipped facility, with multiple pieces of equipment out of order and a disinterested staff. When asked about membership, I was told "I don't handle that stuff just go to the kiosk outside and sign up if you want" This place is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, I'll opt to pay more and get an experience and facility that is up to my standards. Expérience négative: I come to the gym around 4:20pm Monday. First time there, not a member yet. I ring their bell and also call them but nobody answered. I can see there’s actually no staff. There’s also no where to book a tour on their website. If you don’t want to work late, just let us know the correct hours. If you posted work hours, please have a staff there

Expérience négative: Absolutely atrocious gym. Dirty and the staff are so lazy. Machines are awful, tiny space and not even worth 1 star. Creepy staff member Nawaf makes it ZERO POINT ZERO. He’s one creepy weirdo. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RSF is a billion times better. Fit4Less SUCKS.

Expérience négative: Staff leave early almost everyday, preventing members from using the amenities they pay for like showers, tanning etc. The gym itself is garbage, I personally only signed up to use the amenities and I can't even use them. At the very least the owners should leave the showers unlocked during unstaffed hours especially considering the staff leave whenever they want, so it's not like they get locked at the same time everyday and you can plan around it.

Expérience négative: We signed up for the black card so we could use the tanning and massage beds. Unfortunately 3 out of 4 days there was no staff during what was supposed to be staffed hours. What’s the point of getting the black card if we can’t use it because staff isn’t there when they’re supposed to be?
Expérience négative: One of the staff who’s name Nawaf has been seen to have inappropriate behaviour with some gym members(female members)which makes the environment uncomfortable. I believe the staff members of a gym have to focus on providing the best service for the gym community as a whole but this behaviour is not the best.

Expérience négative: Was informed that this location does not have a manager on sites. In the last few months, this location has really gone down the drain. Machines are broken and they do not put "out of service" signs on them. This is desoute me speaking with several different staff members to inform them. Requests to speak with the regional manager go unanswered. The staff don't take complaints seriously. I previously fave this location a 4 star review, but due to the my recent experiences, I no longer recommend this location.

Expérience positive: I really don’t mind this gym at all, has a good variety of machines and everyone just does their own thing. I really like the tanning bed and massage beds that are part of the black card membership. There are three cons: 1. there is no water station. You have to either buy a water bottle from their vending machine or refill with bathroom tap water. 2. their showers don’t have a bench or anything and it’s literally just a room with a shower head so it makes changing a little difficult + the change rooms are in a different part of the gym. I’m a little shameless so I feel no embarrassment walking to the change rooms with a towel wrapped around me but I would say this makes it inconvenient. 3. Not enough mat area if you want to do stretches etc. the room that used to be used for mats now have a new machine in there. there’s probably only enough room for 5-6 people MAX and that in itself is quite right. Other than that, honestly the price is unbeatable and you get what you pay for. Nice and central.

Expérience positive: Worked really good for me - I don't use machines and never been in the washrooms. I get in, do my pullups/pushups and some dumbbells, and I'm out. If you're this type of person, I think it would work for you, otherwise, and from the comments I read about harassment or washrooms I have no clue. It can get a bit busy and the gym is small - there was a day I got in and got out almost the same minute because it was so busy!

Expérience négative: Yeah so the kids "working" the front desk have access to all your personal info, including credit card. Reported some dudes taking pics of girls in the evening (one time an old dude in a top hat pretending to take a selfie, another time a younger kid crossing his arms to conceal his phone), and manager said he couldn't do anything if I didn't show proof. Too bad there aren't any cameras around right? Showers are barely cleaned. People constantly sneak in 2-3 people at a time with one card, and sometimes even through the emergency entrance. Yeah.

Expérience fantastique: Nice affordable clean gym in a great location with an amazing staff. Nice new machines and free weights. Any problems with equipments reported to the staff is taken care of immediately and fixed right away. Bonus : Upgrade membership plan to access massage chairs, hydrotherapy beds and stand up tanning!
Expérience négative: Nobody picks up the phone everytime I want to inquire about membership. Why would they put their number in their website if no one answers. It implies they don't care.

They NEVER answer the phone when you call However when you arrive there always sitting in the office The cleanliness of the gym is terrible from tissue paper left everywhere The bathrooms look like there cleaned maybe once a week And then last week I was in a rush after work and decided I would maybe shower there And this was the last time I went as there tanning beds were "broke" for over a week and the showers were absolutely disgusting I've seen better showers in prisons... This gym should have a a zero star rating
Expérience négative: Fit4less in the Richmond location is extremely unprofessional. If I could I would rate them with no stars. They do not have a stable manager that you can reach nor do they reply your emails. Today, I called the gym for a follow up and the staff there told me that even staff could barely reach the manager. You can imagine how unprofessionally managed this gym is. The staff also told me that he had to go abruptly and hung up the phone while we were having a conversation. They do not have an honour system when facilities are out of service, even if it was out of service for a month. They do not contact you by email nor telephone to inform you that your membership is expiring. You need to pay an extra fee on top of your registration for a new membership after the old one has expired which is crazy especially when you have been an active customer. I do not trust or recommend this gym and I will not ever be renewing my membership here. You pay for what you get.

Expérience négative: Nothing 'less' about pricing. Will take 30 days to cancel and charge you the entire time for it. No option to pause membership. If you cancel and re-take membership, you'll have to pay a 40$ cleaning fee for the entire year again.
Expérience positive: I joined and I thought the massage chairs and the hydro massage beds can be used 24/7 if I have a black card membership. No one told me that it is only when the staffs are on duty. That means till 10 pm. Then the person who took the membership solely for the purpose of going to the gym after 10 pm since it’s open 24/7. He or she will not be able to use the massage chairs and beds. I don’t understand why they don’t make it usable 24/7 by automating it, which can be used by the card like the door fobs that they gave us. If an atm machine can be automated, I am sure those could be automated too. By not letting them using it we are being denied part of the service that they are charging for. Also, there is no drinking water tap on the floor. Which I have never seen in any gym so far. If you feel thirsty. You have to buy it from a vending machine and boy it’s expensive . It’s ridiculous. It should be mandatory to install drinking water taps in a gym. It’s like the basic. It is health risk if you don’t have drinking water handy in a gym and everyone knows it. I am writing this review hoping they understand that I am pointing it because it’s for the benefit of the gym’s reputation and not take it as a negative review. I like everything else about this gym.

Expérience fantastique: Now that the place is finally 24 hours, I feel it to be the best place for working out. I am not much into Olympic lifts, or super heavy weightlifting. I am just beginning to build out my strength. So I have a big journey to pass 75 lbs dumbbells that they provide. For the price and the hours, as per my requirements it is best place to work out. Everyone has different needs and must choose accordingly. Update: they now have kettlebell, trx bands along with slam balls. What more do u want at this price? Update 2nd: A long pending issue has been addressed too, there is now a water refill station.

Expérience fantastique: This gym is what you need in your fitness journey nothing fancy no BS straight up gym. Definitely the cheapest gym in town that you can get your work out done w/out causing you a fortune. People who complain here probably those “Karen and ken kinda people” like what do u expect from staff give u a red carpet to welcome you in? Yes Gym is small but if you shut up and mind your own business you will get your work out done despite of volume of people. You can get the same gains and results here if you focus to your self and stop whining about the gym and staff they cool kids trying to work. And last but the least The manager name Jason are awesome dude and the staff are all friendly and always cleaning the gym spotless. Not recommended because we already have enough members lol. Go somewhere else with constant smiling Staff and has a silver plates and gold bars weights.

Expérience négative: Staff is always sleepy. They don't greet you at all. It's not even stressful or busy, but they lack basic customer service. When she was checking vaccine pass, she didn't even say hi. Just "ID"? That's it. Should work somewhere else

Expérience négative: The gym is very cramped. Workout machines are packed next to each other with less than a foot of space between them. The overall gym has very limited floor space. Poorly lit with yellowish lighting. The massage machines could use some serious wear and tear maintenance. The hydro massagers lack privacy. The only pros of this gym are that they open 24/7 and that their membership is very cheap. However, if you don't need the 24/7 service, you're better off spending an extra 4-5$ a month and getting a membership at club16. Much a much better gym and much larger.
Expérience positive: Place is very reasonably priced and staff do an amazing job at keeping the place clean. In addition, there are disinfectant spray and paper towels everywhere for people to clean the machine after use.

Expérience négative: Extremely unprofessional, I applied to cancel my membership in FEBURARY, and was promised it would be cancelled. I was still getting charged until April 20th where I had to call complain and get it "cancelled again", which means I still have to pay for another month after April because their cancellation apparently takes a month to process. Rep said the manager will call me, but NEVER called me. I tried calling in, never picked up. ITs not a lot of money but its really just about the principle and integrity at this point. You have my file, feel free to contact me to resolve this and I would be happy to take down this review. But prior to that, this is my option and feedback on this gym and its service.
Expérience positive: Great staff. Just wish this gym was a bit bigger - I think honestly, there should always be a limit on the people allowed. 30 makes it feel just right as soon as you add a few more people it feels packed. Otherwise it’s a great price for what you get.
Expérience positive: It used to be open 24/7 before the pandemic. I like the fact that social distance measures are in place. Equipment are sanitized every after workout session. Plus it's affordable. There are bathrooms on site. Hand sanitizers are in place too. If your new to this gym please note that there is a good habit of sanitizing your equipment after your workout. It has always been like this even before Covid. So don't just leave the equipments without doing the due deligence although it's not part of the rules.

Expérience positive: Update3/13/2021 Contacted them via facebook they were able to solve the problem. Didn’t take too long. Tried to cancel my membership due to covid few months ago. Apparently I signed a 1 contract which I’m fine with it. I was told the membership will be canceled till the end of contract. Now my contract is over, looked at my bank they still withdraw my money and never pick up the call.
Expérience fantastique: I go to this specific location three times a week. The staff are friendly, professional and most importantly diligent in keeping the gym clean. They are constantly cleaning, dis-infecting equipment, even lockers and keep all the disinfectant bottles topped up as many members have the proper attitude. Most of the times, people complain when things don't go their way, especially during these challenging times, however we should appreciate the efforts made by the staff and majority of the members alike for caring about each other's health and safety. I made the effort to thank the staff for their efforts, suggest more members should extend the same courtesy. Good gym, good staff, safe environment.

Expérience positive: As of covid they are no longer running at maximum capacity and operating 24/7. If you want to workout you’ll need to make a booking online for a block of time or drop in if they are not full in the current session. But other than that minor inconvenience the gym is in perfect shape, equipments are plentiful, regularly cleaned and staff is very respectful. Did not give 5 stars as they never answer calls. And the information about booking time is not found on the website, must ask in person

I was able to cancel my membership with a downtown location over Facebook, but this location told my husband he had to be on premises to complete the procedure. He went once but afterwards our bank account was still being debited every two weeks. To this date they're still taking money from our account. They now owe us months in refunds. How much work does it take to cancel an account?

Expérience négative: Scam alert! Never used my membership mostly due to the pandemic. Had to wait a year to cancel. This was expected, though there should have been special circumstances with the pandemic. The real problem is that even after a year, they have continued to bill me for months after it should have been cancelled, despite my emails, and calls, in which I provided all that they requested. Cancellation at another Fit4less location was easy, but not here at Richmond. They are also delaying answering emails, claiming it's due to the pandemic (7 weeks of not hearing back from last one), even though emails are the only way they let you cancel if you can't make it in. At a time when most companies are maximizing the use of remote tech to safely do business, this one is using the pandemic as an excuse to ignore emails, and not deal with online cancellations. Buyer beware!
Expérience négative: not flexible during pandemic, hardly ever able to book time slots & seems disorganized in trying to accommodate for gym memberships. Update: the employees at the gym fail to surveil if people are wearing their mask properly (covering their nose) during their work outs. Seen several people take off their mask while working out or even have the mask cover only their mouths & even saw more than 2 people go into the “virtual fitness room” even when the limit is one person only. What a joke.

Expérience positive: Hey guys I never normally leave reviews but I’m doing it in hopes that it improves. Ever since Covid the gym has hit rock bottom in the service department and the system they have in place leaves you with no option to go to the gym. I’ll go into more detail but the short version is if you a new member do not sign up if you want to work out until the gym reopens full time 24/7. So my story is I go to the gym every day but now I can’t you get 2 appointments you can book but unfortunately there will never be any available to select because they are all taken. So I decided to try my luck at getting in as a drop in after people with appointments. It went well for the first few times but then there was 17plus people trying to get in. So now there has been thousands of people turned away at this point and you will be too. It got to the point where the staff and a crowd of customers were yelling at each other. So I decide to take a break from the gym and workout out side for the last 5-6 weeks but now with the smoke and bad weather that isn’t possible either. So I called in and asked how the business was doing and I heard good things I was optimistic increased numbers and all that but unfortunately I was turned away once again with many other people (all paying for the gym monthly by the way) we are all paying for a timeshare at a gym we can’t even use. So I kept my head held high and put my name on the wait list for the next session. Upset but still having a good day I waited 75 mins to get in. Only to try and get in and be lectured on their systems and told I should wait longer. This made me extremely upset then that same staff chose to dismiss me and that was the last straw I felt defeated I just wanted to work out and now I was emotional and it’s not fun to workout like that. Weeks of anticipation led to a terrible workout and worse customer service. After my breakdown the employee apologized. But that doesn’t fix the one chance I had to go to the gym that was now ruined. I’m sure I’m not alone in this and many have already switched gyms to ones with better systems. Fit for less please fix your awful system. I have since been back to this location and I have seen an overall improvement but I am unsure how they will do the line up system in the leading cold months when not everyone has a car to sit in and walkins need to be inline in front of the door for a chance to get in but overall slowly improving I’m waiting for 24 hours to come back and I’ll update my review again. Overall slower lately easy to get in and get appointments now.
Expérience positive: The gym is cleaned regularly. The staff is nice. The only downside is that there is no unassisted squat rack.
