Expérience fantastique: Good gym. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and well maintained (for the most part). Aymen, Jaylen, Jane, Paul. All staff that deserve notable recognition. It's a planet fitness, not equinox, people seem to miss that part. It's like $20/month. So many stupid reviews from clearly stupid people; "I can't wear slippers?! Staff are jerks" or "dumbbells only go to 60 lbs and there's no punching bag" yeah, it's planet fitness, not golds. It's a "welcoming environment" gym. Too many cardio machines imo, but the management seems to be adding new equipment still. It can be busy in the summer time when students are offered free summer memberships, cool ideas, but makes it a bit busier. Besides that, show up, do your workout, move on with your day. Disregard the dumb reviews, it's a beginner/mixed crowd gym.

I am afraid to say too much because of how its not too crowded and a hidden gem in the plaza of langley mall. I feel more people would enjoy their days as much as I do if they went there. Its a joyful and fun experience. I feel so healthy and theres no judgement. I see people of all shapes and sizes having an incredible time. I cancelled my pass at another gym that is super crowded and no one really talks to you. This place is like a playground full of happy go lucky people just trying to improve themselves and others. I am there every day, I cant get enough. lol

Expérience fantastique: Very pleased with Planet Fitness as my gym. Friendly and kind staff. Great range of equiptment and options. The no judgement motto can be felt in the gym and their is a diverse membership of all ages and fitness levels that add to feeling welcome and comfortable. The spa amenities such as teo types of massage are a perfect reward post workout!!

Expérience fantastique: I've had a fantastic experience at Planet Fitness! The gym is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with all the equipment I need. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help if needed. Ayman is amazing—always ready to assist with a smile and provide great recommendations for my workouts. The atmosphere is welcoming and non-intimidating, making it easy for anyone, whether you're a beginner or experienced, to feel comfortable. Overall, Planet Fitness provides excellent value for the price and is a great place to stay active and healthy!

Expérience positive: Health is important and so is Cleanliness- they go hand and hand. The cleanliness at this location is noticed and important to me. There is a nice bald guy who is there in the morning, always going above and beyond to make sure our workouts are safe and enjoyable. Not sure who he is, but thank you for doing such an amazing job!

Expérience négative: Planet fitness should not have tanning advisors if they are not educated enough to know how to tan people. These girls first time tanners were put into the beds for 10 minutes. This is absolutely negligent as the girl at front desk should have assessed their fair skin and advised them to tan for at most 4 minutes their first time. This should never be the case as over tanning can be very dangerous and caused these girls serious burns and nausea.

Expérience négative: First time here as the Surrey location is closed for renovation. Found the place clean but the staff is as cold as ice. No hi or hello. On my way out a staff member ignored me as if I was invisible. The Surrey staff is so friendly. Terrible first experience.

Expérience négative: 5501 204 St Unit 110, Langley, BC V3A 5V3. If I could give 0 stars i would. I went to this location with a family member. Worked out and forgot my phone but when I came back to pick it up I was met with hostility and discrimination. Whether it was based of my attire (a fall Grey jacket with jeans) or my appearance (I'm mixed so I don't appear Caucasian). When I called to see if my property was there, a very nice woman who sounded around 24-30 years old, possibly. She was so nice and respectful asking me easy questions that the phone owner would know (what colour is it? Does it have a case? IPhone or Samsung? And easiest of all will you be able to unlock the phone when I come to pick it up?) Questions I answered exactly to which she said "come pick it up anytime" and I replied "I'll be there in 30 minutes". Happily I went to pick it up thinking I was so lucky it was still there. I show up dressed in jeans and a medium heavy fall jacket. Clean as well. Soon as I walk in I was met with a long look up and down as if sizing me up..it was a very young blonde teenager with a pony tail at the front desk. I asked "I'm here to pick up my phone", I say "Are you the woman I just spoke to about picking it up?" She told me no and that I'd need to identify to phone"...ok I've just done this over the phone with the first woman but she sounded much older. As she asked I did just that for the 2nd time. "It's an iphone with a black otter box case and picture of car rims on the background". I then asked "I just spoke to one of your employees over the phone about this and she told me to come pick it up. Is there a manager here ?". The young teenager said "no but we have a few phones" She grabs the exact phone I described. Now holding my phone in her hand she perceeded to ask me much less simple unrelated and invasive questions. As if it wasnt hard enough to be able to identify a specific phone off of a whim.." She then asked "why did you come to work out at planet fitness yesterday?" Another one was "if you don't live in the area why wouldn't you just go to another gym closer to your home?" As well as "if your family member had a membership' then how did you get in?"... this was no investigation..i paid with my own money and my family member wanted to show me how nice the gym was. It was that simple. And I'll never go there again. Still not giving me my phone I had just described to her to the T! Otherwise she'd have no idea what phone to grab. This back and forth went on for about 3 minutes while another customer was standing to the right of me leaning on the desk. I said to him "some strict security around here huh?" He said nothing and scoffed under his breathe. Frustrated as to why this wasn't as easy as unlocking the phone Infront of them as the first very nice woman had said over the phone 30 minutes ago. The younger girl tells me "We've had a lot of theft around this location." (Fast forward; I called the exact location the day after this incident to which a much older lady who sounded like she was 45-50 years old, told me in her own words "we haven't had any issues with theft or stealing.") This GIRL was absolutely playing detective with me and I did not appreciate it. Lived in Canada my whole life born and raised and as I grow more mature, I see the place I grew up in has changed so much from the place I called home. Very sad to see the discernment and rational thinking has left the next generations. Just because you don't recognize someone does not mean they should be treated like a criminal or an outsider. This has disgusted me and my family. Finally! She asked the magical question "how do you know this is your phone?" I then slightly laughed under breath and told her "if you give it to me ill unlock it." WOW top notch line of questioning from the 19 year old wannabe cop. She passes me my phone i show her that I know the password and walked out. She didn't say "have a good day, I'm sorry for the inconvenience" nope. She didn't have one word. Just nothing and I'll never go back .

Expérience fantastique: Lots of cardio machines. The staff are lovely. It’s never too busy and the facilities are clean. They could use a couple of extra benches for the weights, but, overall, an excellent gym, particularly if you’re someone who is a beginner and might be nervous about being at the gym.

Expérience négative: Terrible Gym Experience I’ve had an awful experience at this gym. It seems like people are coming here not to work out, but to sit on machines and play on their phones, hogging equipment for long periods of time. When I brought this up to the front desk, they simply shrugged and said it’s not their business – apparently, people are allowed to spend as much time on their phones as they want, regardless of others waiting to use the equipment. On top of that, there are no clear rules about cleaning the machines after use, so hygiene is a serious issue. The difference between this location and the one in North Vancouver is night and day. I would recommend going elsewhere if you're looking for a serious, well-maintained gym.

Expérience négative: Didn’t find the machines I was looking for. Weights were not racked correctly, locker room was very stinky. Club 16 is better.

Expérience positive: I like everything bout the gym except your this foot wear policy. Everything else is understandable but if you really have issue with people working out in slippers then let them know on very first day, you can’t just sent people home just coz they’re not wearing shoes if they’re comfy in working out in slippers then it’s none of your business. I understand the safety concerns but I told your employee I’m not gonna go near dumbbells and heavy stuff to carry I’m just gonna stick around machines but he was being jerk. Sorry but that’s true! I’m not free enough to read the whole policy article before joining gym. You should let people know on their very first day. Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: Staff at the Langley location are absolutely fantastic!! Without them, my membership would be useless - like so many other fitness centres I’ve joined over the years and never used because everything is just too overwhelming. I don’t know the purposes for any of the pieces of fitness equipment or whether they are right or safe for me, never mind how to use them. I’m rehabilitating from injuries so don’t want to just jump on something and use it incorrectly, potentially causing further damage. Every staff member has been so helpful and patient, showing me the various machines that I then photograph and show my therapists. If my therapist agrees, I return to PF-Langley and the Staff then show me the proper way to use the equipment, and will even check in with me to see how I’m doing!! I feel encouraged and supported to try, even if it’s for just a minute or two. I’ve never been to a gym like it.

Expérience fantastique: Very clean gym. It’s open 24:7 which is amazing. Compare to the first class service I receive it’s vary affordable. Free training sessions are fantastic

Expérience négative: Garbage employees working. Ishita and Diago ( Assistant Manager ) have no sense of talking to clients. Do not go to this gym location as they will ruin your day! I have cancelled my membership right away because of the rude behaviour of above mentioned two clowns as they do not know what customer service is!

Expérience fantastique: Anytime Fitness Langley is fantastic! The 24/7 access is so convenient and the equipment is always in great shape.

Plenty of room and equipment for a diverse range of exercises: weightlifting, mobility and stretching, basic calisthenics, HIIT, and cardio. Comfortable environment for people of all ages, backgrounds, physiques, and goals. You don’t ever have to worry about creeps and judgmental folk. Super clean. The staff and customers make sure of it. Water bottle station available. Sports and energy drinks available at cost. It’s the cheapest gym by a long shot, but it doesn’t cut many corners.

Expérience fantastique: The staff are very friendly. The gym is very clean. This gym seems larger than other Planet gyms, making it feel less crowded. Really enjoy my workouts here.

Expérience positive: Exceptionally affordable, friendly staff and quality plentiful equipment. Wish they had dumbbells heavier than 60lbs. Parking is plentiful and 24 hour access is a big plus. They enforce eye protection for the red light therapy but not people wearing flip flops, jeans, talking on the phone, watching videos on full volume without earphones… most members do not wipe machines. Very inconsistent with regards to other PF gyms across NA. Please post signs in the washroom: COURTESY FLUSHING IS NOT A CRIME Men’s washroom always stinks like doodoo

I can walk into that place looking like a piece of roadkill that got caught in a tornado, and not a single eyebrow is raised. It's like a sanctuary for the physically challenged, the fashionably challenged, and the 'I-cant-decide-what-to-do-for-a-workout-so-I-change-machines-every-5-seconds' challenged. Thank you, Planet Fitness, for giving me a place to workout without worrying about judgment.

Expérience négative: About a year ago i gave this gym a five star with high praise. The staff was awesome, they were always walking around cleaning the machines, the washrooms and checking the floor. The last few months a large percentage of the staff are a joke and unfortunately its always the young females working there now. I've been in there so many times and i see the female employees going into the washroom with friends of theirs that have come in so they can sit in there and have a gab session or you walk in to the washroom and they're on the phone until they see you and then get off it quick and leave. They are always on their personal phones and today i'm in there and the employee is sitting on the floor in the corner by the tanning lotions playing on her phone. She didnt even get up when members were coming in! I went in for a massage , come back out and she's still sitting on the floor. They all seem friendly but so lazy, only there for the paycheck. Its too bad, it was nice to see the employees walking around the floor keeping a eye on things in the past

Expérience fantastique: Cons ( if I had to find any) They give free memberships to students in the summer - so theres pyjama-wearing, broccoli-hair cut, prime drinking attendees during the those months (cool they promote youth being active - wish I had a gym do that when I was younger) The location is in DTL (down town Langley) aka methhead Langley - so lock your vehicle doors (there are gym members going in/out always/cameras/ it is across from the police station so it is still very safe) They close on holidays (virtually all gyms do) but besides that it’s open 24/7 - great for early risers, night owls, or ppl with unorthodox Schedules/shift workers Pros ** Where to begin ** Open 24/7 , cheapest membership around (no contract)- VIP membership is a few more dollars but it includes so many bonuses) VIP membership - free drop in to bring a friend to the gym anytime - so it’s a 2 person membership for the price of 1 VIP’s get full access to a mix of massage chairs/machines, red light & tanning machines. VIP members also get 50% discounts on drinks/other stuff The gym includes a rack section with ropes, climbing grips, monkey/chin up bars, jumping platforms, kettlebells, almost every type of standard weight machine/bench, bands/trx ropes/medicine/exercise balls, yoga/stretching mats. A Beginner section that’s private for newer or shy ppl which is quiet. There’s tons of cardio machines-stairmaster/rowing/elliptical/treadmills/bikes. There’s a decent amount of dumbbells (no super heavy ones like a lot of meathead commercial gyms bc PF is geared towards being a nice ‘for all’ type gym) In my experience I’ve encountered little to no members that are rude - although the crowd of ppl vary a lot especially depending on the time you go - but I would say this gym has the most low-key mind-their-own-business type members I imagine the busier hours ( usually for most gyms would be after school/work - til dinner time ) could have a more annoying crowd - but if you are looking to interact/socialize/meet new ppl that would probably be the best time for you (I’d rather play in traffic then go then if I can avoid it) The gym has a free first day drop in , and you can call or email if you have any questions ( no risk to try) Why I made such a detailed review is because : - I may have some type of a learning disorder ‍♂️ - secondly I enjoy this place (even th sharing it makes it more busy for me ‍♂️ id like others to enjoy the positive experience) - lastly I want to let the staff know they are doing a great job I’ve had little interaction with management but they were cool (I’ve asked multiple employees what their bosses/management is like and they said they are nice/treat about them well). To me the management runs the place well and hires good ppl (Final note : The staff is the best) Every person that works their I have had only positive experiences with - they hire all types of different ppl and they are knowledgeable, keep the place super clean, and are extremely welcoming They seem like they care about doing a good job - and as a staff they seem to work great together and support each other Impressed by you guys and I hope you all get raises ( especially the night shift )

They have personal trainers and all sorts of equipment. For black card members, there's discounts hydra massage chairs and sunbeds. Good gym, you should join it.

However, with the assistance of an excellent staff, I've been able to commence an appropriate exercise program. The abundant equipment and the building are very clean. Fees are reasonable.

Mid tier gym, recommend if you just want a place to run on the treadmill. If you are looking for a good gym to move weights looks elsewhere

Expérience fantastique: Clean. Well maintained. Great hours. They’ll sell you a bottle of water for pretty much cost if you forget to bring one which is very much appreciated. The staff is always incredibly friendly. The changing rooms are nicely heated. Massage chairs are an awesome bonus.

Expérience négative: Having previously and proudly managed a Planet Fitness within the same franchise and loving everything we stood for… I can say I am sorely disappointed at this location and its standards. Among other things like the not so friendly customer service and poor cleaning standards, someone stole my hip thrust pad from my treadmill because I left it there for maybe 20 minutes. Upon my boyfriend asking the staff to check the cameras they said they couldn’t because only Managers can. When he asked what they can do she shrugged and said “this is Langley”. No taking his Info and getting the manager to check the cameras. Nothing. Im very disappointed. PF means more than this. I am sorely disappointed and sad this is what this location has come to. You can and should do better.

Expérience positive: Among the top gyms in Langley, I've tested several, and most are either overly crowded or too pricey. This gym stands out with ample space—though it gets busy during peak hours, it's still manageable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The only quirk is the temperature; occasionally, they blast the AC, making it necessary to wear a hoodie while working out especailly in seperate working area.

Expérience négative: This place has gone downhill in the last 2 months. They have new staff, which are extremely rude and make me feel like im a burden asking to book the tanning booths. They are often sitting on back counter eating, playing on their phones, not assisting customers, or doing any work duites whatsoever. The tanning rooms are absolutely filthy! Oftentimes, there's not even paper towel to clean the dirty bed before using it, shouldn't the beds be cleaned before customers use them?? I have never been to a place where I had to clean the beds before tanning!! I've found Pubic Hair on lay-down beds and on the floors of stand-up units. They never seem to be cleaned at all.. Fluids on floor are a slipping hazard, while staff are doing absolutely nothing... Where's management?

They have a bunch of equipment and are open 24h which is super nice since I have early shifts. I started going during their summer teen program where membership is free and haven’t stopped since. It’s super clean too and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve tried most of the gyms in Langley. This spot is by far the best for a casual gym users. This isn’t meant for heavy lifters. Most people are average and I feel really comfortable working out. App tells you house busy it is so you can plan accordingly. It’s dead early mornings usually. The black card pays for itself with the massage chairs and hydro bed things

Never ever had any problems......until last week. I forgat to bring the membership card. Wow...it's like committing A crime. I have everything else. Driver license. Credit cards. Social insurance number...... But no way, I am refused access to the gym. People are lining up behind me. I am feeling very ashamed. Finally I had to give up and leave the gym like a beaten dog. Shame on Planet Fitness. A computer system that can not sign in members using their names? Incredible. 21 century. Teeible costumer service.
