Expérience négative: The gym itself is well-equipped, offering a variety of equipment to suit different training needs. However, I've noticed that many members, myself included, prefer free-weight lifting, which can sometimes lead to longer wait times for equipment such as benches, the Smith machine, or lighter dumbbells (5-12 lbs). Additionally, while floor space is somewhat limited on the main level, there is more space available on the upper level—though this is contingent on class schedules, so planning around those times is important. My main concern, however, lies with the front desk staff. As someone who works in an administrative role, I understand the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. It's essential to greet individuals upon entry and departure with a friendly demeanor, as those who walk through the doors are the ones supporting the business. Unfortunately, the front desk staff here rarely displays this kind of professionalism. The only time I received a smile was when the staff realized I was registering for a membership. It's crucial for the staff to recognize that for many members, the gym is a place of escape and self-care, and creating a welcoming environment is key to fostering a positive experience. I’ve noticed that certain amenities, such as the red light therapy room, are not consistently cleaned or wiped down after each use. This is concerning, especially given the shared nature of the equipment and the importance of maintaining a hygienic environment for all members.I hope management takes this feedback into account and addresses the importance of customer service & cleanliness in future team discussions. Given the membership fees, it's reasonable to expect staff to maintain a friendly and approachable attitude.

Expérience positive: Machine is alright. Some days busy probably around 5pm when all people just got off work. Come morning or afternoon, usually not much people there. Staff are friendly. My pt is Angel, she’s super nice. I miss her

Expérience négative: Had a bad experience here during Covid days. The discrimination of this gym with only allowing people with vaccine passports was the first red flag for me. I asked to cancel my membership during that time and it took them so long to get back to me about cancelling. I kept getting charged every month even though I was NOT allowed into the gym. I have emailed asking to cancel and they took forever to respond. Anyways fast forward to someone finally emailing me about cancelling. She said they would send me a cheque for the payments that got charged. I have never received the cheque nor did anybody get back to me when I constantly asked about my refund cheque. This company is first of all discriminating and money hungry. It's been years and I still think about my awful experience I had here and how I still haven't got my cheque.

Expérience négative: Found blood on equipment and the worker there put equipment right behind me on the ground and left it there. This place is a bio hazard and workers leave weights around dangerously.

Expérience négative: I’m a long time memeber of this She’s fit location, and did not expect this kind of unlawful practice. Recently I have been charged $20 for overpayment however when I called to update my credit card information to a ‘new one’ they said this card is already on my account. When I asked the employee (Janelle) why they didn’t charge that secondary card on file when the other one didn’t work, she mentioned that they didn’t have ‘permissions’ to charge that card even though it’s already on file. Since I have already given the card I would assume that it’s chargeable and expect them to try it if it’s there already… Very poor management and policies/system. If a ‘permission’ is required I would expect that they would call me to ask. Yet nothing was communicated until the email sent to me on overpayment due and charging me $20 per late payment. Clearly only cares about squeezing more money from their customers.

Expérience négative: Do not fall for this place!!! Terrible customer service with rigid rules and policies. Read the fine print in the long agreement they make you sign. The workers there do not care about their customer’s experience at all.

Expérience négative: Very disappointing service. I have requested to cancel my membership and to speak to a manager regarding the cancellation fee. Yet no phone call nor email was received by anyone from the gym until a overdue penalty was applied to my account, then they decided to email me and ask me to pay extra. :) Only response I can expect is when you guys want more money from me? When there is a missing payment on the account, shouldn't your team inform the member before applying a penalty? SUCH TERRIBLE SERVICE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS GYM.

Expérience négative: I had it for two months and the amount of fees was upsetting. but the reason why i canceled my membership was because there was an employee that i had my free consultation with. She kept pressuring me to buy her lessons which cost over $2k with the cheapest being $1.5k. There was even a way to pay biweekly cheaply but there was interest. I kept saying “oh I will think about it” but instead she kept pressuring me for an answer. So i was honest and said I cannot pay for it and even then I wanted to talk to my parents about it. She said “call them.” or if i said it was too expensive she said just get the instalments. I know she was pushing her lessons because that’s how she gets money but it went on for so long. It was uncomfortable and degrading and only made me more insecure. while this fitness instructor may be a great instructor, she made me quit this gym. Her name is Kat Adams.

Expérience négative: Okay gym. Good machines and could get on most in a decent amount of time in busy times. Classes were just okay. Staff helpful. Policy in regards to cancellation in terms of cancellation short notice with proof of move isnt really honored. I had to cancel early as i found a place sooner than expected. Where im going there's no shes fit/TL gyms. Can only cancel after youve been there for a month and have to pay for another month in order to cancel. So I am just handing out money for not attending the gym for a month basically.

Expérience fantastique: 1000/10 would recommend their personal training specifically Anjelica. This is my first time ever signing up for a gym, even being to a gym and decided to do personal training so I didn’t feel as lost and uncomfortable in the gym. I was paired up with Anjelica and there couldn’t be a more perfect match, she is full of knowledge and knows what she’s doing, she has a very welcoming and positive energy that encourages you to keep coming back and wanting to push yourself. She not only is helping me with my muscle goals but my posture as well, I work a desk job so my posture was really bad, enough you could see my shoulder blades weren’t aligned with my back, and I had a very BIG slouch with the stretches and exercises she has me do, my shoulder blades are now aligned with my back and my posture is so much better. I couldn’t be happier with getting paired up with her, I can honestly say I don’t know if I would have gone to the gym atleast twice a week for the last 5 months if I didn’t have her cheering me on and providing me with the exercises, knowledge and making me feel comfortable in the gym, it has set me up with so much success and I really am seeing the positive difference in my body and confidence. For example, When I first started with her I couldn’t comfortably squat my own body weight, it was very uncomfortable and would lose my balance and today we did high bar squats that was 65lbs! So cool to see the results since working out with her, this is just one of the really cool progression we have made!

Expérience négative: Edit: I was just there there this morning July 18th 2024, and all the barbells are still on one squat rack so it’s obvious management has not spoken with the team. Also I have emailed you a few months ago regarding a separate situation that happened there but got no response. I don’t know why you’re implementing stacking barbells on one squat rack. I think that’s very irresponsible as I just hit my head on one of them cause staff had 3-4 bars on it. That’s a hazard for someone who is trying to put their plates away. You’re also making it difficult for people who need to use the rack. You expect us to remove all those bars? Figure it out cause that ain’t it. Maybe you guys should leave the bars when against the wall or on the side like they were before because who is blind and dumb enough to trip over those? Also, staff have told ladies to not cover the fire exit but girls are still doing their hip thrusts there. Maybe you should put a sign there since it’s still happening along with ladies putting their bags against the mirror where the stretching area is. It’s not fair for the rest of us. I also think you guys need heavier dumbbells as I don’t understand why it only goes up to 40lbs. The big Russian lady with black hair who teaches classes in the morning is rude each time I encounter her upstairs. There should be more paper towels available in the women’s change room/washroom as hand dryers are unsanitary.

Expérience négative: I don’t recommend this gym to anybody because their equipment is very limited. during peak time, you could wait for more than 30 mins and still not getting the equipment you want to exercise on. Sometimes you waited on the side for 15 mins and other members would just cut in front of you because apparently not every body follows the rules of first come first serve. They will have equipment that been out of service for more than 2 weeks without getting fixed. If it’s not because of my personal training is at this gym, I would have cancelled a while ago ..

Expérience positive: So far I enjoy working out here. I love the women only environment, the layout of the gym/equipment, the chill staff, and the incredibly convenient location, but I do have issues with the cleanliness of this gym. I’ve had to take it upon myself to clean some things beyond the traditional wipe down. One time a seat in the weights section was visibly covered in dirt so I cleaned it myself. This seat required 5 wipes, thoroughly scrubbing, to no longer come back brown. Every single treadmill machine in this gym has visible caked up dirt all over the front panels (another thing I try cleaning myself, which I know I shouldn’t as it’s not my job, but I guess I can’t help but want to clean all the dirt off). The employees are great and friendly, almost always saying hi or smiling when I come and go, the gym is cool with lots of air circulation, everything else is great, it’s just surprisingly dirty. Also, one of the treadmills seems to be indefinitely closed for maintenance. Treadmills are one of the busiest machines there so I assumed it would get fixed asap but it’s been about 5 months now. Maybe there’s a reason for this I just don’t know, either way it’s not a huge deal to me personally, but to others I know it’s frustrating to see every day. I am not going anywhere, but I really hope they clean up more as it seems to be a continuous issue people have mentioned in the reviews many many times that still hasn’t been addressed, seemingly years later. I’m happy to be a member here, and I appreciate your response :) I’ll update in the future regarding the machines to see how things go, thanks for all the work you guys to to keep this gym safe and comfortable!

Expérience fantastique: I was a personal training skeptic not too long ago but my experiences with my previous and current trainers at She’s Fit have been really great. Anjelica is my current trainer and she is awesome! She is knowledgeable and definitely knows what she’s talking about. When I started with her, my body was at its worst. I had wrist pains, hip pains, knee pains, and I was at my heaviest. In a span of two months, she managed to make my pains go away as she taught me various stretches and strengthening exercises. She is educated (recently graduated btw!) so you can expect to hear the scientific names of your muscles haha which is quite fun and reassuring that she knows what’s best for you. I highly recommend Anjelica because she’s (1) extremely nice and accommodating, (2) knowledgeable, (3) makes the exercises fun yet challenging, (4) keeps you accountable by checking up on you (diet, water intake, and exercise), (5) zero judgment, just pure encouragement.

Expérience positive: been at this gym for two years now. It’s close to where I live so I continue to come here. This gym is ideal for beginners or people who can come when it isn’t busy. The bathrooms can be pretty bad, with no toilet paper or soap. That’s usually peak hours. Off hours, it’s pretty good. It does attract a lot of beginners that are intimidated by weights and learning how to use the gym for their goals. That’s fine but I do run into a lot of new gym goers who don’t have gym etiquette. I’ve had people try to strip my bar for the plates I’m using while I’m standing right by it - multiple times on different occasions. I’ve also had people walk way too close or work out way too close to me when I’m working with dumbbells or a barbell. It would be nice if there is extra obvious signage for people to be more aware of not running into other people’s space for safety or to put back their equipment. I’ve noticed some signage go up about putting weights away, which is great! Still think more about gym etiquette should be put up. Or even if personal trainers could educate their clients a little about it - that would be huge as a lot of these new people do see trainers here. The gym also have trap bars and a few deadlift accessories, which is neat, but none of the things have a rack, so it’s just put near one of the squat racks. The gym layout isn’t very big, so I can see why staff put it there. Still is pretty unsafe, as it’s hard to access plates or load the barbell in the squat rack in a safe manner. Pretty big tripping hazard. Max weight for dumbbells is 40lbs, which is odd cus other shesfit locations have dumbbells going up to 50 (45s and 50s do not exist here) Theres actually a good number of strong women that would put those to good use and it would also free up the limited number of barbells for other gym goers. All the personal trainers seem super nice, and the staff at front are friendly. There was one person that had a lot of attitude, but she seems pretty chill now. Maybe she had a bad month.

Expérience fantastique: Beginning of this year I told myself I wanted to change my lifestyle that’s when I signed up for a membership and personal trainer. Thanks to Iliana for helping me out on this journey. She helped me lost 17 pounds in the last 4 months of being consistent and eating healthy. She incorporate powerlifting into my workouts which I didn’t know if I can do it now i’m so happy I can do it and love it so much:-) She also helped me how to properly pose and do my workouts thoroughly! Expérience négative: I have cancelled my membership after one month. They gonna charge me for enhancements fee while their assistant explained me that it would be charged after three months. They have sent my contract that shows enhancement fee should pay after 45 days but their assistant gave me wrong information in the first day and she just read the agreement because it was too long and I trusted her and signed it. The manager just says, it was misunderstanding while I totally remember what she explained. On the other hand I gave them notice after month, why they should charge me enhancement fee which should be charged after 45 day? I should be charged if I give the notice after 45 days not before that!!!! I have just used their old equipments for a one month but they are going to charge me like someone who is attending their club for one year. At the first you think they offer reasonable price but it is misleading and I am very upset about this club.

Expérience négative: I have been going to this gym for more than a month now and I can say that I sincerely regret that I agreed for a 1 year subscription. The gym is small and about 30%-50% of treadmills are always broken or not functioning correctly. I am paying the Elite subscription which supposedly giving me an acceess to hydromassage, sauna and group classes. There is no hydromassage in this gym, the room for classes is very small, they are hard to book because of the limit of 20 people per class and they are constantly getting randomly cancelled. And despite the limit, some people are crushing in the classes without the booking making it very hard to do the training because its not enough space. And it is not being controlled. On the other hand I would say that the gym is clean, the girls who work there are nice enough and the classes are really fun and you want to come more and more. Forgot to mention that I was promised 1 free training with a trainer and I kept reminding the stuff about it, but seems like it was a lie or a marketing move and nothing is going to happen. I also wish there was some kind of hairdryers in the changing room, at least for the winter and lockers were bigger.

Expérience négative: Hello, I'm Hanne, I'm writing this reel because I'm currently going through something not very desirable and something that I find abusive both for me and for those who are interested in joining or who are already members. Because I had a very bad state of health including pneumonia and after almost a month in bed, other conditions arrived, I could not show up at the gym for a period. Within this time my card failed and due to my condition, I could not solve it. What I'm getting at, is that they have made abusive charges, every 2 weeks that the 10 $ charge would not go through, they would add a 20$ late fee. In total $30 every 2 weeks that I haven't been, you can imagine what I owe, and I wanted to solve my problem since I received threatening emails, even on December 31st, but also that they are inhuman because they are not interested in any reason, they only want you to pay them their abusive fines and to clarify, they never gave me a solution no matter how many calls or emails I sent them, expressing the situation.

I’ve called them at least 14 times and they haven’t answered even though I know they are up at the front. So disappointed in THIS location. I have switched to the New Westminster one and customer service is better but decent. Not to mention it is so dirty at this location. If u could give a 0 or less I would. Do not go here.

I asked them to remove it but they were not able to because they has no authorization to do so. They tried to contact their manager, but no responses for such situation. Not sastified at all.

Cancelled my membership in June, got a charge end of July after the 30 day grace period. Contacted she’s fit Metrotown immediately, the employee didn’t sign off on my cancellation so told me there was nothing they could do. I asked to cancel then and she said my account would be cancelled beginning of August. Great. Now fast forward it’s been 5 months of transactions bi weekly, my bank has blocked them on fraud and still getting daily junk phone calls saying i owe 300$ in late fees and biweekly payments. Have gone to the location multiple times and been told they would cancel, still nothing. Emailed about 20 times now and just get ignored. Extremely unprofessional and awful management. Don’t come here, they suck.

Expérience fantastique: Such a great gym! I was thrilled when I discovered she’s fit because I was nervous about working out around men. If you feel the same, this gym is definitely for you! It’s a great safe and confidence boosting atmosphere where everyone is so kind. I’ve been going here for 1.5 years now 4-5 times a week and it’s the best gym I’ve ever been to! They have everything I need and there’s lots of space. The staff are so helpful and friendly, I stop to chat with them every morning before I start my workout. Couldn’t recommend this gym more!

Expérience négative: Unpleasant First Impression Due to Impatient Front Desk Staff I've been with Club 16/She's fit since 2019. Today, it's my first time (October 17, about 545-6pm) going to this location and asking about membership and group classes. The lady at the front desk, who had curly dark hair and a slightly chubby figure, appeared impatient as she explained and rushed through a lot of information. On top of that, throughout the entire conversation, she frequently squinted her eyes to express annoyance and impatience. I had to ask her to repeat some of the pricing details and the contract/penalty terms. It seemed like she was blurring out this information, which is important for me to consider. She was the first person I interacted with, and it left me with a bad impression of this location. I don't think I'll be returning here.

I had never been to a gym before and had no idea how the machines works but she was always with me, she explained all the exercises step by step and even helped me with my diet! Expérience négative: Some machines are never fixed and have been broken since I started a year ago. The stair master start button. And a elliptical that doesn’t incline I’ve told the front and it’s never been fixed. Also there’s one Elliptical that has never been cleaned on the base of it. It’s absolutely disgusting. They seem to have a problem with the air conditioner, it also smells terrible at times. If they fixed some of these issues maybe it would be better. I will try GoodLife in the future.

This gym should warn others if their are maintenance workers in the tanning room. She's Fit customers are promised an all female environment and the gym has failed to fulfill that and privacy. The gym did not even apologize or care. This is supposed to be a female gym only. Any maintenance should be stated and customers should not have to deal with such matters. Super disappointed.

Expérience négative: I am a regular member at this gym for almost three years now. I used the tanning booth in the private room August 5th. I was completely naked in the room for 30 minutes and I kept hearing noises. After I finished my tanning booth session I looked up and noticed a big hole and a man is up in my room in the ceiling with a flashlight looking at my NAKED body. I asked him what he was doing there up in my own room and he said he was doing maintenance. I FREAK OUT and run to the reception CRYING. I booked an appointment to speak with the manager. The day comes, the manager of this location does NOT bother to call me to discuss the situation. I call the gym the next day and the manager makes an excuse saying she did not have the time to call me. I ask if I can get a compensation of any sort. That would be the LEAST they can do. She gets back to me the next day and tells me there is nothing they can do. Super unprofessional. Manager does not care about her customers. Does not even bother calling back. This could have been prevented if the girls at the reception payed attention but they don’t care and all they do is chit chat whenever I come to the gym. THIS is an only women’s gym. Huge violation of the gym policy and their promise. And huge violation of my own privacy. If I can give it 0 stars I would.

She encourages, compliments, warns when needed, and more importantly, pushes where she sees potential. She has a genuine passion for her craft will shepherd you towards your goals, sustainable healthy habits. She is definitely recommended.

Expérience négative: I signed up for the most expensive membership because of the hydromassage thing which I’ve never seen (I think they are at a different location, went to the one in Lougheed as well but they were in maintenance) and the fitness classes which I am never able to book because they are ALWAYS full, even when I am on the waiting list as soon as I get a notification of a spot available it’s already been taken. Super crowded after work, I always have to wait for the machines, the washroom is always really dirty, the amount of times I’ve used the washroom only to find out while I am already on the toilet that there is no more toilet paper left is ridiculous, there barely is soap in the soap dispenser, sink is always really dirty and there’s water everywhere. I downgraded my plan and they convinced me to pay $25 for “price for a lifetime” because supposedly they were gonna increase the prices soon so I wouldn’t pay the new price, not sure if that’s real or if I really just paid the price difference upfront. I signed up online for the personal trainer but never got a call back or anything so I hired one somewhere else. Oh they also close really early on the weekends. Anyways, you get what you pay for. If you have higher budget go somewhere else.

Expérience négative: The price for the gym is okay. But there are so many points off. The equipments are old or are always in maintenance. If you ask for help they say they don’t know. Also, always the accessories like halteres, pulley, and others are never in place. The people might leave it unorganized, but what about the staffs? Shouldn’t they put it back in place? I feel that is missing stuff in the gym. I think for who takes gym seriously and have no time to be looking for accessories it is not a good deal.

Expérience fantastique: Gym is super clean and the staff are pretty friendly. Best thing is they have sauna and tanning bed. The price is unbeatable, and it never gets super busy where you can’t use a particular equipment. All the machines are relatively new, and there are lots of machines. I love it that it’s an all woman gym, and I feel extremely comfortable working out there. The community is great, and there are work out classes that you can join for free if you have a membership there, which I think is really sweet. Everyone wipes down the equipments when they’re done, which is pretty rare. Parking is easy as well. 10/10

Expérience fantastique: I've been coming to this gym for over a year now and will keep continuing as the location is great near skytrain and has free parking nearby if I do choose to drive. The staff are super friendly and always welcome people in. They have personal training packages which I recently tried out. Thanks to the help of Mahtab who guided me thoroughly through the different packages that works with my budget as I'm a student with not a lot of money and was able to finance it out. I had Gabby as my trainer who was super lovely! She understood my goals and planned every session accordingly and made every session fun!. I recommended this gym to some of my friends who were searching for a comfy no judgement gym :)

Zero maintenance most of the time the sauna does not work or its closed and people hog the machines and equipment's. Hopefully the regional manager reads this and bring some changes

Expérience positive: I like all about this gym but only one down side is that the operating time is very short compare to other branch. Especially on weekends they open only 8am-4pm which is unfair for who pay same amount money for the fee. And weekdays as well . Hope they can open from 5am- 10pm like highgates burnaby branch

Expérience fantastique: This gym is clean and well equipped, the front staff are very friendly and happy to help. I did 24 sessions with one of their personal trainers, Katy. She is an incredible teacher and goes above and beyond training you physically. Katy provides mental and emotional support which was crucial for my training and ultimately my fitness journey as a whole. Her sessions are effective and a tough workout all while keeping a friendly and encouraging attitude. I’ve had an entire lifestyle change that I’ll carry with me forever thanks to her training. I can’t recommend Katy enough 11/10!
Expérience fantastique: I’ve always been skeptical about personal training because I thought it was overpriced and overall just a waste. I was struggling with my mental health and wanted to start my 2023 strong so I started training with the lovely Mahtab. She was very understanding with my financial situation as I am still a student working only part time and tried her best to accommodate to it. I am a very closed off person but I surprisingly felt very comfortable with her the first day we met. Mahtab is a very genuine person and I can tell that she values the importance of building a connection with and each and everyone of her clients. She is full of so much energy and every session she always pushes me!! I’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and family within these past few months from just training with her. I also noticed a major shift of change in not only my physical but also my mental health. She definitely played a big role on helping build up my confidence and always reminds me to be kinder to myself❤️ I truly recommend training with her she is one of the sweetest people i’ve ever met!!The staff are also very kind and welcoming! Everyone is always smiling at each other and starting small talks!
Expérience négative: My friend, Jennifer recently made a review about my experience in personal training at this location. Due to her Google review, I was told to contact She's Fit and have a conversation about my experience. The regional manager of She's Fit contacted me about my experience in personal training, as she seemingly empathized with me and agreed at how unfortunate my situation was. Towards the end of the conversation, she asked me "is there anything I can do to regain your trust and appease this experience for you?" My answer was, I would like my money back for the second set of 24 sessions I paid in full prior to the start of my sessions. The response I got back was disappointing, confusing and absolutely intentional, because her goals are not to rectify my personal experience and gain trust, it is to make me go away and feel "heard" so I don't escalate the situation any further. She told me that the service has ended and therefore I COULD NOT be reimbursed. I asked if I could cancel my membership because I didn't want to go to this gym anymore and I was told, this was not possible unless I wanted to pay the buy-out fee. The offer I received was 6 free personal training sessions at THE SAME GYM. That is how this corporation feels they can "regain trust"? I am genuinely shocked at the lack of rectification after asking me what could be done to make things better. I even asked who I could escalate this situation to, I was told there was no one else except the person I was talking to already.
Expérience négative: If I could give this she's fit a 0 I would. As someone who has been in the fitness industry for multiple years and in the mental health profession, it is saddening to hear that there are personal trainers at this location who have impacted a friend of mine's mental health. Fitness is not just about improving your physical wellbeing but also your mental wellbeing. There is a personal trainer here that my friend was seeing, and my friend was seeking training to improve her abilities to hike/go backpacking/and complete a marathon. While she also wanted to increase her strength, this personal trainer decided to use my friend to reach her own goals as a trainer and got my friend to follow a more typical "bodybuilding" way of training. This trainer pressured my friend to "bulk" and when my friend had seen she had put on weight this began impacting her mental health and body image. When my friend tried to express this concern, the trainer did not respond empathetically, but rather dismissed her concerns and encouraged my friend to continue on this "bulk". It has been months now and my friend is still overcoming the challenges she faces mentally due to the lack of knowledge with regards to mental health this personal trainer has. Personal trainers are meant to help their clients reach their goals, not determine their client's goals for them. The sad truth is, that in this case, the trainer determined my friend's goals and my friend is now trying to rebuild her body image and find a healthy relationship with food and fitness.

Expérience positive: This gym is designed to be used in conjunction with a personal trainer. Either theirs or your own, the staff there aren’t really qualified to show you a workout but that’s what makes it so affordable. You can go there, do your thing, not get hassled and do what you need to do. While they don’t have all the bells and whistles that Club 16 offers, Of all the Club 16s I’ve been to this one has the cleanest facilities. The corporate membership is also super convenient if you travel around for work.

Expérience fantastique: The gym is clean, staff are friendly, fees are relatively low, and there's lots of new equipment and machines. I rarely have to wait to use something. I've been training for the past several months with Mahtab and it's been wonderful - she's motivating, funny, and kind. She has helped me immensely with my fitness goals, learning about the machines, and eating healthy. The biggest change is feeling energized, sleeping better, and having an easier time lifting things that normally were heavy! If you want to try a women's only fitness facility and/or work with Mahtab, I would definitely recommend She's Fit-Metrotown!

She has a unique way of doing workouts and is focussed on achieving desired results and is totally dependent on your body type which is the best part. The staff is nice, I love the fact that they’ve renovated the gym, the equipments are typically available depending on the time you go… however, I am extremely disappointed with their service from the Head Office and the incident we are currently experiencing: Two of my other friends and myself have a She’s Fit membership. One of them, recently moved to Vancouver, a few months back, wanting to start a life here. After living here for a few months, she realized it was not for her, and financially it was not a great idea. When we had initially signed up, she explained to the She’s fit staff; that she moved to Vancouver to try it out and her goal was to stay for at least a year, but it will depend on how her life turns out here. The staff stated that, the process would be extremely simple to waive the membership fee as long as you provided two proof of Identification of your new address. It has been over a month, since she has moved back to Ontario. It took She’s Fit, three weeks to reply and when they did, they did not approve of it. It’s upsetting because, considering how many locations they own, how many clients they have.. they are unable to waive a 100$ cancellation fee, despite her proving on her ID and bank mail, that she currently resides in Ontario. They stated that she needed to prove it through billing. However, if you moved back to live with your parents, due to your financial situation in Vancouver, how likely would it be that you would be paying your family’s bills under your name? To She’s Fit, it is 100$, considering you have several Club 16 and she’s fit locations all over the lower mainland and to this girl 100$ means a lot more. Not only that, you still have two existing clients amongst us three who signed up. However, based on the way my friend is being treated, the lack of response from HQ, and the fact that she was informed one thing when she signed up and now it’s very different.. it’s very disappointing for us to continue being clients of Club 16, when there are numerous gyms all over the lower mainland. I honestly hope this issue gets resolved and if anyone has any suggestions to help her out, that would be greatly appreciated. She’s going through a tough time, and this situation is adding onto her plate. **Update, they were able to resolve the issue 4 months later**

Expérience positive: I like this gym. Staff is chummy and helpful. Mahtab is super nice. I often saw her helping other ladies in the gym those are not her clients. But other gym trainers are rude with other people. I only have two complaints about the gym timings on weekends. And why the gym is open during paint and construction. It smells so bad when you enter the gym because of the chemicals.

Expérience négative: Worse experience ever. I got stolen my e-scooter at the parking gym. Weeks before I was leaving my scooter in the locker room, folded, of course, where it didn't prevent from passing or getting in the way. but suddenly it became a problem and they prevented me from entering it. Days later I saw a couple of suspicious people around and implored them to let me back in my scooter because it was in danger outside. negative and more negative from the staff and the most normal of these cases, days later my skateboard was stolen and I lost 1,000 dollars due to lack of solidarity and empathy. request the cancellation of the contract and they charge me a penalty for doing it before time. the worst service and attention.

Mahtab have so much experience and patience; she’s very kind. She will always encourage you. Initially, I thought I would spend an hour just doing some workouts she would give me, and that's it, but no! she has the energy to move mountains! She will be more motivated and determined about your goal than yourself sometimes, and she will build a great connection even after you finish training with her. That the session will be a mix of hard-working, laughing and talking. You will see the difference and progress in a short time with her

Expérience fantastique: I have been going to this gym for 2 years now, and they recently updated the interior and equipment. The new equipment is really great and easy to use. Was starting to feel a little run down but now it feels nice and fresh. I’m very happy with the new upgrades.

Expérience négative: Good gym in general and amazing vibes, but I'll have to give them my money FOR FREE since it's not allow to freeze my membership even if I'm not in Vancouver for two months... The only "solution" they gave me was keeping my membership because it's cheaper than cancel it and start paying from the beginning again when I'm back.

Expérience positive: It has good days and bad days.... I have had “horrible luck “as the manager said which I can agree. Whenever I am there something minor takes place that disturbs my workout. I would not say this is a bad gym;What I will say is that insignificant delays on a every workout basis is starting to feel significant!!!

Expérience fantastique: Okay ShesFIT is such a great facility to have for the woman who want to workout with other women who want to better themselves too. It could be for mental health, or better heart health, or just to be healthy and get those hours in a week to workout. Either way, I find this location the best in Vancouver. The workers are all so welcoming and easy to talk to. They welcome you with a smile and Hi every time you come in. I’ve been blessed to develop a relationship with most of the workers here. It’s all love and light. Very personable an I love that the most. The classes that take place here have great instructors and the special awareness per section is well put. Thanks Shesfit Family. Expérience fantastique: The women who work here have AMAZING customer service, work ethic and passion for helping others. I have a corporate membership and frequent many different Club 16/ SHES fit locations and this one is by far my favourite due to the staff. Though there is limited equipment and a lot of it is dated, I will continue to come here for the staff as they make the experience positive. I suggest the women who work here to spend time at the High Gate location and train the staff their on being friendly, customer care and going the extra mile. The ladies at SHES fit! Metrotown are the best! Thank you for being who you are!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been here a couple weeks almost a month to be precise ! And to my perspective, I came from someone that barely went to the gym but with luck I was teamed up with the best trainer (MAHTAB) and she really pushed me and even changed my diet. This gave me the morale to make it a routine and honestly, My body is now adapting and improving in just a good amount of time and excess workouts. Could proudly say this is the right place to be ;)
