One more thing I want to say, the attitude of the woman at the reception on weekdays is incredibly RUDE and NASTY. When I enter this gym, she either gives me dirty look or ignores me. She is only friendly to a few of her favorites. If you are not her favorite, you will be treated like garbage. But actually, garbage is herself.

They suggested we go to the North Vancouver location, but that’s too far for me. I want to cancel immediately, but I’m too busy to go to an actual location, so I'm stuck. I really want a refund – it feels like a scam. This gym has no respect for its customers. Even when the location was open, the staff, especially the women employees, were unfriendly and showed no kindness. I would never recommend this gym to anyone. If you’re a member, cancel and demand your money back. I received a response from the gym asking me to "send a DM on one of our social channels," but I couldn’t even find a direct way to contact them there. This just adds to the frustration. It feels incredibly unprofessional and disconnected from real customer support. If they actually cared about helping, they would make it easier for members to reach out, especially after closing the gym with no notice. To anyone considering joining this gym: be aware of how poorly they communicate with members. Even when the gym was open, the customer service was unfriendly and far from helpful. I would strongly advise others to avoid this gym and look for a more reliable place where members are respected and customer service is a priority.

They closed this location down a couple of weeks ago with no courtesy emails, no explanation, no date of reopening, just the "great news" that we downtown members can all take a one-hour bus trip to North Van to use that Fit4Less location. Best of all, no compensation for this massive inconvenience, and no corporate head office to contact with concerns. No, actually, the best part is that I cancelled my membership, and still have to pay for another 30 days. These guys are the worst. Find another gym where the fees are comparable and they actually conduct themselves with dignity, respect for its patrons, and have far superior facilities. I guarantee just about any other place will be an improvement.

Expérience négative: I don't think it's about flood issue anymore cus it's over two weeks. There's no way the flood effected the gym which the location is on 2nd floor. All I see is they keep saying please DM from their channel but still no one text you back. The real haunted gym ever!

Expérience négative: I've been in many gyms in countries that some of them considered 3rd world never had the disrespect that I am getting from this gym since the gym closed unannounced I am calling all other locations no one took my call 3 days in a row to get some info this is the only location I can go to because I work day and workout late I haven't done my workout for a week. At least inform your clients with an apology email. Who ever wants to reply I don't need your sorry just open the gym and stop being lazy

Expérience négative: I feel frustrated when businesses use a single, generic response for all comments, especially in crisis situations like this. It feels like they don’t genuinely care about us-their customers. You have time to post silly videos on Instagram, but not to provide clear and thoughtful communication. For a company of this size, there should at least be someone dedicated to managing communication and public image. Additionally, Coal Harbour location extremely crowded especially on a weekdays with a poor ventilation (especially in a room with free weights).

Expérience négative: The entrance feels like getting into prison. I just went in to take a peek to see if I want to go to this gym. There is dirt and trash around which signals they don't care about keeping this place clean. The equipment were mid. But the blow for me was the review with all the drug syringes in the bathroom! The staff sounded very friendly and nice.

Expérience négative: Before making this post, I spoke with the manager of Fitness For Less at the Pender Street location on Wednesday, October 2nd. I asked him if he or his team had checked if the showers were clean, because in my opinion, they hadn't been cleaned properly. The manager responded, not in a friendly way, saying that the showers were clean. I replied that I needed to show him some pictures to explain why I was asking. He then rudely said, "Whatever, I don’t want to be here arguing with you," which was very disrespectful. Honestly, my tone was neither demanding nor rude at that moment. Once I showed him the pictures, he was shocked at how dirty and gross the shower walls were. He told me they were already working on it, which was not true. I waited several days, expecting the walls to be cleaned, but that never happened. So, I'm making this public request: please, Fitness 4 Less, clean the shower walls. Thank you.

Expérience positive: Place is perfect for those who are beginners, but as someone who is an intermediate gym user, this is a tough spot. There is far too much cardio equipment in comparison to strength training equipment. It's a very, very small facility. It's an oddly shaped one as well. You have a long, narrow hallway to get to the main strength training area where it's always so crowded. Keep in mind, I am biased. I have gone to the North Vancouver location, and it's actually great! It's much bigger with more equipment options and more squat racks. This location is lacking. The fact you have to wait to use machines is frustrating. Overall, if you're someone who loves to have that extra space, more equipment options and you're a seasoned athlete, this might not be the best place for ya.

Expérience positive: Clean facility, good assortment of free weights and machines. During peak hours, good luck getting on a weight bench or some of the machines. Way too many treadmills, they should use some of that space for weight training. Go early in the day, from 3pm-9pm its very busy.

Expérience fantastique: It is always reasonably clean even when I go very early. When I meet the Asian lady on staff, she is usually very friendly and helps me if I need it, always with a smile and a great attitude. The equipment is sufficient and the variety is adequate. There is only one in the abductor area that has been out of service for some time. Perhaps it would be worth speeding up its repair.

Expérience négative: I called them and I told them I heard good things about their machine selection and prices and was interested in checking out the gym and switching from the YMCA. The Indian guy on the phone told me “it’s 20 dollars if you don’t have a membership” and I said “oh, ok thanks” and hung up. What a missed opportunity to get a new member. I was literally begging to be a member and buddy couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough, made no effort at all the try to get me in the club and try to win me over. He actually did a disservice because now that put a bad taste in my mouth and don’t think I wanna switch to a gym whose workers are so non chalent. the staff at the Y are the most friendliest and wonderful people ever. Y’all should take notes from them .

Expérience négative: I don't know why it takes so long repair the equipment and machines, the abductors one has been in maintenance for a month. It seems this center doesn't care to the company, it takes equipment out, and don't realize how important is for income this location, for example the one in Campilano Mall is bigger and everything is repair immediately but that center is always empty, you should take care about this one.

Expérience positive: This is what it is, it’s a fitness facility, it has everything you need to get a workout in, your not going to find a lot of HUGE, workout types here or the yelling and grunting in others where bodybuilding is the main focus but it is a good gym to get a “fitness” type workout in.

Expérience fantastique: It's hard to fault this gym. It's cheap, is decently equipped, and the staff are great. It gets busy sometimes, but you can get around that by not being lazy and going before 9am.

Expérience positive: Great place to work up a sweat from the moment you walk in - mostly because when you enter you’re stuck by the lack of AC. With a heat wave around the corner, you’ll be impressed with the gyms ability to maintain higher temperatures instead than out. It’s never been a better time to hit up this location, even if you’re only there to sit around. That’s because you’ll come home dehydrated and soaked from what appeared to be a fantastic workout. Fool your significant other and shred that weight today! Water weight.

The staff has mentioned they will fix it but it has been more than a week, not sure if this manager is doing his job, but it seems dont care at all what os happening. Summer is here and if this continue in same way I will have to cancel my memebership.

Expérience positive: I was happy that there was a Fit4Less in downtown Vancouver. Just about a 10mins walk from my hotel. The setup of this one is quite unique. I felt it was quite small in the free weights area. They only had 3 benches and very little free weights. There was only 1 flat bench press. Typically there should be an Incline bench and decline bench. This location is just too small to accommodate that. Maybe if they put less treadmills. I can't imagine going at a busier time. My biggest pet peeve is having to wait for what I need. Overall I can't complain that there's a location downtown for when I am in Van.
Expérience fantastique: Hello there, I love this gym & I have been a member about 4yrs now the atmosphere has been great but since there’s no manager here, there’s a lot of PERSONAL TRAINER ( two Asian couples) they come every week ( every morning from 7am to 930ish to train people 3-4 to four people per day it’s quite irritating I have complain to the front desk and nothing has changed & I do believe I’m not the only one but it’s been happening for two months, you can check the cameras too

Expérience fantastique: Love the place, the staff ( Stephanie rocks!), the athletes and everything about this place. Some nights I start my workout at 10 Pm. Most gyms close to this neighbourhood close at 10-10:30 so I am glad I can leave at midnight without feeling rushed. Also, has a great view of the mountains. Thanks so much Fit4Less.

Expérience positive: I'm changing my rating cause for the last 2 to 3 weeks the staff hasn't been showing up to work, so I'm paying for features that I can't even use cause they are not here. Very disappointed The pictures were taken on 03 17 23 Friday look at the time ffs Update since they hired a new manager, things have greatly improved. I am much happier now, so I changed my rating again.

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym. For the price I pay I have more than enough. I wish some people were training more and less on their phones occupying benches and machines but I guess that's the world we live in today.
Expérience positive: Edit (08/19/2023): this gym used to be really good. Now equipment is left broken for months on end, no one is at the counter or present on the floor during office hours (either they are not staffed or staff are hiding at the back). It used to be a good deal for what you paid for; now, I'm just frustrated. Previous review: Great selection of cardio and weight equipment. I love that they have a weight machine for your back; it's awesome! Also love that it's 24/7 gym. REALLY good value for the monthly rate.

Expérience négative: Dirty machines and facilities. The place has a problem with music; there's been an AC machine leaking for almost 7 months and no one seems to care.
Expérience positive: Pricy for a day pass but if you're a monthly customer it's a really good deal for a 24hr gym.

Expérience positive: 24 hours, it's not insanely packed after work, and has decent-ish equipment. I feel like a lot of the treadmills could be replaced to make more room for free weights, considering I hardly see people on the treadmills and they could use another bench or two

Expérience négative: Have been going for 4 years. Last Saturday May 7th someone stole my wallet from men's change room. Tried to charge $4000+ on my credit card .I am not the one to write bad reviews but this was insane. There were only few guys working out so I am sure it was stolen by one of them . Filed report with Vpd as well. They need to have extra staff or security on weekends.
Expérience négative: Fit4less needs people who don't insult new clients. We didn't get time to check the name tag of the person as she/he/they walked away when we asked her name! We believe the name was Erika. Why being so rude to people with no reason? She/He/They pulled out the transgender card when we asked to speak with someone else! What?? We didn't even know! And who cares when we are just asking questions of how much per month we need to pay and you are giving us confusing prices!! Why being disrespectful by saying "we don't need people like you here?" She/he/they was explaining so fast,all confusing and when we respectfully asked to see someone else as we were thinking she/he/they must be stressed and tired what we can understand,she/he/they disrespected us. The way she was explaining prices was sooo wrong and nobody wants to find the credit card charged more than signed for! All that was unnecessary and you lost 2 clients over some insecurities. Nobody cares who you are,we care about our money!! Every cents matter!! Being a transgender doesn't allow you to be rude and disrespectful,we could have pulled the racist card,too seeing the way you were treating us (like total sh**) but we asked to speak with someone else in all respect!! It is manipulative and so wrong for doing that!

Expérience fantastique: It is a wonderful place to train at. The staff is nice and the equipment they have is in perfect shape, tons of space to workout properly. I undoubtedly recommend it!

Expérience négative: I was member with them for almost 2 years. Things were great. Now, I was moving to different Province and wanted to cancel my membership. So I called them to cancel it, there is this old lady at front desk seen her sometimes at the gym. She did not canceled it right then. And made me pay 2 months unnecessarily. When called again why it wasn’t canceled she became rude, told me I never told them. Even told me that “I have given more time then you deserve”. Be careful if you have to deal with her.
