Expérience négative: I recently joined the gym and, for the most part, I've had a positive experience. However, I had an unpleasant interaction with one of the staff members, Tara. From the moment I walked in, she came across as unwelcoming, and her tone was passive-aggressive. As a new member, there are still things I'm unfamiliar with, so I approached her for assistance. Unfortunately, her response was rude and dismissive, which made me feel uncomfortable. I really hope this wasn’t influenced by my race, but regardless, this behaviour does not reflect the level of customer service I expected from a professional establishment.

Expérience positive: I went to this location while on vacation and had a wonderful experience. They lack some of the black card features that are available in the Yonge street location in Toronto, which is the reason for only 4 stars. However, the people (members, not staff) that go to the Belleville location are incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for those wanting a welcoming gym to go to!

They have a great selection of cardio machines—treadmills, ellipticals, bikes—you name it, they’ve got it, and there are always enough available, even during peak hours. The membership fees are very reasonable, making it an affordable option for anyone looking to stay fit without breaking the bank. However, if strength training is your focus, you might find the equipment a bit lacking. The selection of weights and strength machines is somewhat limited, which can make it challenging to get a full workout in if the gym is busy. That said, it’s a solid option for cardio lovers and those who prioritize a clean, budget-friendly environment. With a few more strength training options, this place could be perfect

Expérience fantastique: Love this gym and the staff. Started coming months ago to get physically stronger and didn't look back. In the past I had gym memberships and well, you know, (they collected dust). But Tristan and the other staff have been so accommodating and kind to me since I started coming here. They are like family. Lots of machines and equipment to choose from, and they are wiped down after every use. There are massage beds & tanning beds too if that floats your boat. Highly recommend

Expérience négative: Scam scam scam.!!! Had a really bad experience. The woman who works there called Carla such a cheap customer service. She started shouting on the call as if she pays me to come to gym. My account was frozen because i was sick and ill be not able to visit the club to cancel it. Indeed i have to pay 35 more dollars for this month for nothing even if i was not using it for 2 months and they do not have any head office phone number. Carla or karla is a good example of Karen’s exist everywhere. Planet fitness please teach some customer service to your employees.

Expérience négative: A complete dump, it’s honestly surprising how they’re still open. Tiny cramped locker rooms, the locks on the stalls are broken, they have 2 cable rope attachments, 2 handle attachments, only 2 mirrors, 4 benches, paper towel dispensers are empty, bathrooms are disgusting, giant cracks in the mirrors, and the list goes on. The planet fitness in napanee with 5000 less members is twice the size, clean and properly maintained. I would be beyond embarrassed to be the manager of this location.

Expérience négative: I was a member for 7 years. When I first got my membership they were amazing. But now I would NOT recommend them ever. I just cancel my membership because of the toxic environment and they do not enforce the simple rules like cleaning machines or not using cell phone calls in the gym. Biggest one is the use of camera in the gym with other people in the background or taking pics in the change rooms with other people in the background changing which they say is 100% against the rules but do nothing about it... They have zero want to enforce the basic rules. Which is sad because it was an amazing gym for the first 6 years. The manager at the Belleville Gym is the worst manager I have ever had to deal with in any business ever. Today someone was live steaming in the gym as he talk to his sister on speaker phone. Blows my mind. That was the last straw I have never been more disappoint in a companies management or ethics ever. I have had memberships in gyms for about 30 years and never a single issue until Planet fitness started making changes and removed the foundr of the company and hiring discount management. now it just another discount GYM

Expérience négative: I'm military and I travel all over the world and I've been to planet fitness all over the world and this is probably the worst run planet fitness that they're that there is and I've been to over a dozen. Like every organization you either have a strong or you have a weak leader and it shows this is the only planet fitness that people feel entitled to to surf the web for 10 to 15 minutes at a time some even longer bring back gym etiquette some people actually have to go to work a 15-minute workout took me 45 minutes the people at the desk would rather cit shat and do their job.. there was an actual girl the other day wearing her underwear manager said no problem. Why is there wi-fi ? Is the gym there to socialize or to work out !!???

Expérience positive: Overall I really enjoy going to this gym and I always have a really great time. I am very grateful that I can go to this gym and use their services.

Expérience négative: Place smells awful and is dirty. Worked out at GoodLife across the road for a year, never had this issue. Only attended this location once and never going back. Been going to Napanee’s PF location for a few months now which has been a great experience.

Expérience négative: I like this gym but I took off two stars because seriously, get your front desk staff some stools! How ridiculous that they have to stand their entire shift?! I will change my rating to 5 if those staff get some stools! Edit - I lowered it to 2 stars cause those employees are still standing lol

Expérience négative: In town for a couple days and just wanted to get in a quick workout. I’m a black card member so I figured I was good to go. I checked in but the person at the front desk stopped and said I had to answer some questions and have my picture taken. I had already signed up and gone through this but she said I couldn’t enter until I did this. She then started running through all kinds of silly questions about the tanning beds, and whether or not I’ve had skin cancer etc. then she said I had to have my picture taken. It felt like an interrogation. Then she asked billing questions and when my membership was going to expire and charges. Like I just wanted to work out? This individual was very condescending and unwelcoming. I’ll never come back to this gym and in fact I wished I had just used the exercise room at the hotel.

Expérience positive: shouldn’t be that strict and please more free weights but the rest is alright

Expérience positive: Good place to workout, but they definitely need to add more smith machine as they are always all occupied by people who spend their time on their phone. No phone policy should be enforced not only in the work-out space but in change rooms as well.

Expérience fantastique: Impressed with Planet Fitness Belleville! The pricing is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the gym is generally not too busy. Never encountered a machine breakdown, which is a plus. However, a minor suggestion would be to consider replacing machine components as they are becoming worn down. Overall, a solid five-star experience for a reliable and budget-friendly fitness option.

Expérience négative: Exceedingly sketchy business practices and will 100% over charge you or continue to charge after cancelation. My partner went in person to cancel his membership over 2 years ago, and it came to our attention today that the planet fitness employee decided not to process the cancellation or they lost the paperwork and has been charging him monthly. And according to them they will not issue a refund without cancellation papers, If it's your policy that you cannot issue refunds without the cancellation paperwork, then maybe you as a company should hold on to your cancellation paperwork. This company has known to do this across North America, do not give them your money. Do not give them access to your bank account. Do not give them access to your credit card. They will continuously charge you and engage in spectacularly shady business practices. This is a common problem and I urge anyone reading this to look into it themselves.

Expérience fantastique: Never fully utilized the gym, mainly due to my phone not being compatible for QR codes. However, the gym is as sanitary as possible. They have a locker room for both male and female members, with the men's change rooms having plenty of lockers to store items, along with a spacious shower room and toiletries (urinals and toilets). Many machines, such as staircase climbing, treadmills, and weightlifting. Planet Fitness also offers coaches to help your training (see staff for more details). A place where you can comfortably go to do your workout.

Expérience négative: Some odd/judgmental energy with staff members here in the Judgment free zone. Not always paying attention at counter or professional as should be. Editing review. Manager Nikki is great and some great customer service with most reps

Expérience fantastique: Very clean and a very reasonable monthly price. For 30 bucks a month you get access to hydro massage, massage chairs, tanning booths etc Also the app let's you know how busy it is at any time of day.

Expérience négative: Worst place you could go. myself and many of my friends have been ripped off they have no care for customers only about themself they will force you to sign a paper that if you get hurt they have nothing to do with it they will charge you even if you cancel your account charge a late fee when they could just make your account not active till you can pay it but instead they keep it going even though you get nsfs in your bank just from my experience and others this place will be shut down in no time if you give no care to your paying customers then you shouldn't have a business luck it forces you to put a star to post this because I would put no star rating

Expérience positive: The staff are great, the gym is clean (except for the frequently empty paper towel rolls) and a good price but the franchise needs to step their game up. The water fountain is always warm water, there are a lot of machines that go untouched while there are only 1 of the most popular machines making them hard to get on, no spin bikes in the cardio area...

Expérience négative: After taking some time off from the gym I decided to come back. The employee, after scanning my card, makes a passing comment about me coming in after 110 days. As I was leaving he said "see you in another 110 days". Felt like a pretty judgmental zone to me.

Expérience positive: The free weight area NEEDS more mirrors. It's difficult to do an exercise without being able to check your form. Mirrors need to be continuous from the corner to the lug alarm. Also, there needs to be more benches in the weight area. It's impossible to do a good and complete workout because of the limited number of benches. They are ALWAYS full. Even early in the morning, it's difficult to do a full workout. These are the reasons why people switch to Goodlife. I've had countless friends switch because of this. I'm planning to as well if these issues aren't fixed soon. I do love how open the gym is and that the cardio and weight area are all on one floor. P-Fit is definitely better than GL in this way. Also the hydro massage beds and tanning are nice. The staff is always friendly and the club is very clean!

Expérience positive: Love this gym, very clean, staff are always friendly and approachable, reason for four stars is the 30 minute circut room, not once have I successfully completed the room without having to ask someone to follow the posted rules, I have now gave up even trying members use it has a free for all room, it's not monitored by staff and have never had staff ask members to follow rules I have always had to, some refuse. I wish it was enforced.

I live in Ottawa but my brother is in Belleville and we were looking for a place for him to sign up and for me to go to when I’m in town. Hannah took care of all my annoying questions with no sweat (pun intended) and really welcomed us to a no pressure environment that I feel comfortable going to the next time in town. Thank you for giving a sh*t and being a true professional !

Expérience négative: Want to put this in attendance to the owner and manager. It is my personal experience otherwise the staff is good. I called the gym 3 times as there was an issue with my payment and I was told I will receive a call back which I did not receive until I called again . I could understand as I work at a front desk too. I didn’t want to use the gym for free and wanted to pay. I used the gym only for ‘A DAY’I requested the manager that I don’t wish to pay a month fee while I used the facilities for a day. The manager was utterly rude and said I should pay for the whole month irrespective of my 3 times follow up with the gym. Until then, no one called and asked why the payment is not going through. I didn’t want to be unfair in this bad times. The gym is economical and amazing. Unfortunately I was taken aback by the manager’s attitude & tone; but I shall pay for that month or for day use (which he states is $20) and I shall withdraw my membership which the manager replied, ‘ perfect and have a good day’ I wish you all the best in this hard COVID times.

Expérience positive: The one and only thing that I can't give a full 5 stars for is because they don't have a bike rack. Whenever possible I bike to PF but I constantly have to check to make sure no one has accidentally backed into my bike or stolen it. I have to lock it to the light pole thingy and that's where the handicapped parking is so I always stress and check on it in-between machines. I've mentioned it couple times to them that they should get a rack because I'm not the only one who bikes there in the warmer months, but they told me something about how they can't because of property people or something. I dunno, I think on the far side of the building if not directly in front of it in a parking spot would be feasible, but who am I to know lol. Either way I wish there was one so I don't have to stress about it every time I'm working out. Other than that it's clean there and they have tons of equipment (tho I wish there was more than one of the ab twister machines), the staff are friendly and the rates the most affordable for Belleville. They have 2 tanning beds+ 1 standing and 1 standing red light, 2 hydro-massage beds + 1 lounger and 2 regular massage chairs. The Black Card membership is worth it for those alone IMO lol

Expérience négative: Today I read the comments and I felt to post my and my husband's experience. The manager is extremely rude especially with Indians. We already booked an appointment then also the manager denied of my husband's name in the list. And other 2 guys who were there without an appointment he allowed them first. Atlast he allowed my husband by asking his name as it starts with "D" he(the manager)asks "D" as a "dog". This is very insolent and disrespectful. Manager needs to be changed. On the other side , rest all staff members are very nice. I would have rated 5 stars but will rate 1 star as this behavior is very shameful. Thanks

Expérience fantastique: I have always hated going to gyms, but in retirement I figured I needed some sort of exercise regiment. I enjoy Planet Fitness. The staff is fantastic and always say hello and call me by name. I don't feel out of place and as advertised there is no judgement on your weight and fitness level. The hydro massage beds are a blessing. I feel safe walking in there during the pandemic as both the staff and clients are careful about cleaning. Expérience négative: Hope so your all team is doing well...just want to tell that everything is very good with your gym but your one manager is very rude and mannerless guy...didn’t know how to talk with the customers and was blackmailing me that he will cancel my membership without any reason...he is a male guy looks around the age of 35-45 ...and the thing was that appointment system ...there were not even 50 people and he denied us to enter even I was also booked for my time 9-10:30 and still he didn’t allowed us...was very very rude to us especially our Indian guys..hope you will take an action towards it .
