Expérience négative: Gym is pretty big, but it lacks some machines, weights on them felt light compared to other locations and have uneven resistance, squat racks only avaiable in a black member zone, lot of stations didnt had a spray bottles.

Expérience négative: There's never any staff when you need them. The bathrooms are always dirty. The manager is quite moody and difficult to talk to. Kindly do something about it or I don't know about other people but I will surely get membership at planet fitness or a better alternative. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience from my part but I am really just to workout. I could do it outside too but I'm paying so much for extremely poor service and management. Also the hired staff seems too young and they are not professionals of course. But you'd expect them to know how to use their own computer systems and do the job that they are being paid for. Thanks for your time and understanding. Kindly do something about the management inefficiencies.

Expérience négative: Been a member here since they opened, so have seen the staff change many times over. Theyre generally nice and helpful - some in the past did an exceptionally good job. This is the reason for 2 stars. However, since covid this place is poorly staffed if at all. There is usually only one person here at a time, and cant keep up with helping members. The place is also filthy at all times. This is due to the people coming in. They throw trash everywhere, dont rack their weights, dont wipe down machines, piss on the floors and toilet seats. They should have some shame, but clearly are not capable of it. Its also crazy to me that they make so much mess, being that a large number of them only come in to sit on machines for hours playing on their phones. Guess this is what you get for the low cost. Shame though.

Expérience négative: First of all I want to add I’ve been coming here for 6 years now . This gym USE to be managed properly and cared for with the OLD manager . All the employees here don’t care about having the gym clean or having the machines properly cared for . At first I thought it was just me thinking that all the time the employees are huddled up at the front just chatting away not being professional but after reading some of these reviews I see it’s an ongoing thing. They also lock themselves in the room leaving no employee available on the floor to help customers .PLEASE don’t message back saying to dm you to resolve the issue same bullshit said on these comment MAKE CHANGES !!! Maybe consider getting a damn new manger that cares about their job !

Expérience négative: I had a bad experience at this jane & finch location. Because I had to move to another location so I cancelled my membership card on the next day which I just registered on the first day of August. I called the staff and an Indian accent guy picked up, I asked for a cancelled plus the refund because I wasnt even go to that gym just registered it (60$) and the next day I need to cancel because I moved to another area. He said that the refund will be proceeded in 2 weeks. Today I called back and another staff told me that I havent cancel it and I still get charged with extra fees without actually go to the gym.

Expérience négative: This place has fallen a long way since it was opened. Its regularly so packed that you cant find a space to actually excercise. Youd think with the influx of money from all these new members, they could keep the place properly maintained, but equipment is regularly broken, and the place is filthy at all hours of the day. The people who come here are slobs, and dont clean up after themselves. The front desk is not staffed most of the time, so defeats the point of haveling a black card membership. Nobody there to help use the perks associated with it.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been attending this gym since it opened up in the mall. I’m a regular. I’m there 5 days a week usually around 9:30-11 when it’s not super busy. It is a low budget gym that has more then the average gym person would need. Tap your card do your workout and leave. If a certain machine is broken, I improvise and use something else. There are multiple ways to work one body part. I understand that gym machines break after being used so frequently. I don’t hold that against the gym staff. I also understand that I’m paying for a gym that is not as fully staffed as another gym that charges double or triple as much so I don’t go in with the same expectations. You really do get what you pay for. Also the energy I give is often the energy I get back. Days where I don’t want to do anything but get my workout in I wave to the staff and get my workout done. No one interrupts me and I appreciate that. I appreciate that people in this gym are there to workout and for the most part respectful of sharing equipment and aware of gym etiquette. I think it is also on us as patrons of the gym to help keep it clean. Grown adults should know not to litter the gym and pick up after themselves. Put your weights away. If you moved a bench put it back where you found it. An empty bench is not a place to leave your headphone and water bottle while you’re off at another end of the gym chit chatting or using another machine. If you are a personal trainer, it’s not your personal place of business. Learn some gym etiquette and teach them to the person you are training. You do not own the gym! Be mindful of how you utilize and take up unnecessary space in the gym that others may want to use. Again, I’m a regular patron. It’s a safe and clean place for me to workout in every morning. Sure paper towels run out a few times a year. But I pay less than $1 a day to workout in this facility. Free shower if I want. I don’t get a towel, but so what? I always get a good workout in every morning. I mind my own business and do what I need to do and get out. I will always recommend this gym and continue going here.

Expérience fantastique: I switch over from planet fitness a few months ago, and I love this place a lot more. The equipment is better, and the black card room has everything you need for an amazing workout. They actually have squat racks, no more Smith machine deadlifts; they are so bad for your back. Besides the equipment, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I look forward to coming in and seeing them before my workout.

Expérience négative: Decent gym. I gave 2 stars due to the fact that machines will have a repair in progress sign for weeks, and the cleaning bottles and paper towel dispensers are rarely filled. Also the clock by the Mechanical Room at the door has not been working for over a month. It is important to have staff that have attention to detail to this.

Expérience négative: I will never go back there as long as Muna is there and the mall security guard has to do his job in the mall rather then sit in the gym and flirt all day with woman. This is not a place for woman. As to the person running the social media stop saying that you will do something about it it’s been going on for years and nothing has been done. Asking people to DM you so they don’t post reviews is not going to help the issue

Expérience négative: Men’s washroom is disgusting there’s only one urinal and it’s always out of service. There’s pee on the wall and floor of the stalls. Employee doesn’t seem to care to clean it.

Expérience négative: Beware of this gym. Manager Muna is very rude to customers and never around when you need assistance. If you actually find her she is very unpleasant to deal with. Very unprofessional wearing flip flops and looks like she just woke up in the subway station. Fit4less should be ashamed of having someone like this represent their company. If you have any self respect avoid this gym!!!!

Expérience négative: Skinny manager thinks she owns the gym the way she handles people. Super aggressive for no reason but hasn’t worked out a day in her life. The insecurity really shows. Matter fact has harassed me and my friends for using the same black card even though you’re allowed to do so, highlighted very clearly on the company website. You got a security guard from Jane and finch mall who’s always flirting and hooking up with one of the staff inside the fit4less office after they close. He illegally parks right infront of the doors after hours everyday.

Expérience négative: Its a great gym but workers have a huge lack of professionalism theyre never at the front counter, the paper towel in the dispensers are usually empty or need to be refilled , mens washrooms are usually dirty smells like urine ive been coming to this gym since it opened this new young staff has no idea how to deal with new customers and gym members theyre too focused on working out and having a good time, if they do not "like" someone or some person for which ever reason they will inconvience you by having your card blocked and give you a bogus reasoning behind and the rest of the staff are involved vouching for each other, this type of behaviour is unacceptable and needs to be monitored closely this is FIT FOR LESS from good life not somebodys garage that kids can take advantage of on a whim and abuse their rights as a worker i would love to speak to the owner of the club and make sure that type of nonsense doesnt occur again

Expérience fantastique: The Black Card Room just got expanded! 4 squat racks, a hip thrust machine (woohoo!) and an area that's actually breathable since it's no longer confined into one small room--instead, sharing one roof with the rest of the gym. Friendly staff is always a plus.

Expérience positive: 1911 Finch Ave W. is typically clean. No major quams about this location outside of wishing that they would put on a movie, nature channel or something more interesting then cp24. I (female) will note however, the staff are very rarely at reception as they tend to do tasks in pairs (if they are doing tasks that is). I very seldom interact with the staff and can’t even remember a time I’ve even gotten a welcoming smile or greeting in my years of visiting this location. Today I forgot my water bottle and as I exited the Women's washroom, no shocker, both employees on duty were together heading towards the utility room. So I kindly interrupted one to advise that I had to go back for my water but as I just tapped my card I would need her to let me back in. She gave me a dismissive head nod (might have uttered an “okay”) and I went about my way to my car. To no surprise, she wasn’t at the desk to let me back in. I was standing there for a minute and a patron who was exiting tapped her card for me. Embarrassing. When I arrived inside, the same staff was casually pushing the garbage bin with her other coworker as if she had forgotten that I had literally just asked for her assistance. A bit more attentiveness and smile from the staff would increase the ratings at this location.

Expérience fantastique: I workout here almost everyday and just choose times that are not too busy (these are mostly evenings), equipment are great, complete as well, i just need the stairmaster as well too lol

Expérience négative: I started a membership here and cancelled it in jan… but was still getting charged. I went into the gym and asked why am i still getting charged they said they got a reactivation notice. I never went in nor did i call in to reactivate it… they checked my account and it was inactive since i cancelled it… so why was it activated again without my consent? Apparently anyone can use your name and dob to reactivate your account without you knowing. No email was also sent out for reactivating so if you dont check your account you would be paying to them not knowingly for something you thought you cancelled… Such scammers. Anyone cancelling there membership at this location better check your monthly statements because someone at this location will reactivate your account

Expérience négative: The mens washroom at this location is absolutely diagusting, they have been out of soap for over the a week at this location! Some of the soap dispencers have been broken as well, And none of the emoyees seem to be bothered about it, just a dirty fit4less location.

Expérience négative: Only worth it if price is all you care about - and even then it’s a stretch. There’s always a few machines broken, equipment missing, and worst of all, always crowded. It’s not a large gym either. There’s better options than this location.

Expérience négative: I came for a work out yesterday April4'2023 at 5:15pm and tried to ask for some assistance, and two ladies in the office informed me that they are not working, yet they were in their uniforms. They responded with attitude and were not polite. Please do better FIT 4 Less.

Expérience positive: This gym is always busy and you're always waiting for machines. The bathroom's tend to be out of service occasionally. And for some reason a handful of the equipment is in need of repairs. The gym is very friendly and the staff are extremely nice.

Expérience positive: Good for a budget gym. Doesn't have all the different machines and stations, but enough to complete a workout. Fairly clean and maintain. They expanded the black card membership only area.

Expérience négative: The fitness club is not bad, but a huge minus is the staff who are never at the reception. they constantly put a sign that they will return in 4 minutes, but in fact there is no one for 1.5 hours. To use the massage chair you need to run, look for and beg employees. What they get paid for I still don't understand! other fit4les don't have this mess! and it's permanent

Expérience fantastique: Been going here for about 2 years. Firstly, the price is really good for the equipment. They have 3 bench presses, 6 smith machines, plenty of free benches for barbells, lots of cable machines. 2 Squat racks in the blackcard workout area. Also lots of cardio machines to use. Gym gets busy after 4pm so be wary but even around then you can get a good workout. Cleanliness is pretty good I always see staff going around cleaning things. I have no complaints about the staff mainly because I almost never interact with them, but they seem ok. The gym is always open 24hrs including holidays. People in the gym are from most age groups (depending on the time of day). Mostly guys during peak hours (I'm a guy but if you're a girl this might matter). When comparing this gym to the one on Lawrence it has more equipment, an actual water fountain, 24hrs, and your cell signal works.

Expérience positive: Good place to workout. One staff doesn’t have any common sense. He goes cleaning washrooms on a busy afternoon and takes forever to open for gym users.

Expérience négative: Their washroom water taps are very cold which is bad for winter season. They need to fix this issue or at least speak to the landlord to get their water system fixed

Expérience positive: Good staff when they are there. Generally clean. Get packed during peak hours; recommend coming at off-peak if you can. Biggest downfall is that this location is a theif's paradise. Don't leave items unlocked or at the front - it WILL get stolen and staff will "check the cameras" but in truth they don't care. You've been warned.

Expérience négative: Horrible manager. Signed up online and worked out there a couple times until I saw the manager there. She has a very bad attitude, never greet anyone, did nothing but stand at the front desk and gave gym members hard time. Worst customer service in the gym industry. Cancelled my membership. AVOID AT ALL COST. FIRE THE MANAGER

Expérience négative: The new manager named "Muna" or "Mona" or "Runa" was extremely rude and impolite. The staff here were fine and greet people but not the manager. Totally opposite with the previous manager. She gets a lot of complaints about her attitude everyday but don't know why she still here.
