Good Evening Sara As discussed during our call today at 6:30pm (Oct 21, 2023) and to restate some of the facts. While participating in a game of paintball, your son removed his mask during LIVE game play, this prompted our immediate intervention. We wanted to ensure his safety and avoid any potential injury to his eyes which can be caused by direct hit, which is why this is the only piece of safety equipment required in the sport and we must take it seriously. In fact your son was given 2 clear warnings prior to us having to remove him for his lack of safety, safety is paramount for us and will always be our focus for all participants, sadly we only have the one rule that masks must remain on all players during paintball sessions. I understand your concerns and would like to provide an explanation from the manager to clarify the situation and we discussed this issue in detail when you called. It's essential that we ensure the safety of all the children at the party, and our staff must follow the necessary safety guidelines. Also, your son mentioned that he had to wait for about 2 hours for the birthday party to conclude, we are sorry this was the case but both staff and managers checked in with him regularly to see if he needed anything. If you have any concerns or questions regarding this matter, please feel free to reach back out to us. We value your feedback and aim to provide the best experience for the children at our events. Did you, by any chance, take a shortcut during the 6.8km Obstacle Course? We have over 15+ obstacles waiting on the back end of the trail. You see, that back portion is a bit like our secret weapon – designed to condition OCR racers. We even mentioned this in your briefing and your waiver, but maybe you were too busy daydreaming about unicorns. Now, you mentioned something about "disrepair" and a "lackluster effort." Let's set the record straight – there's over $100,000+ worth of obstacles on our course, including a full rig. We didn't just throw a few tires and some twigs together, promise! But hey, if it wasn't your jam and you felt like you were tricked into an enchanted forest hike, we're here for you. In fact, we have already provided you a FULL REFUND. Heck, we would've done it right there on the spot…if you'd told us, but you keyboard warriored yourself into one.
