Expérience positive: This has been my gym for almost over 9 years now, never had any bad experience and always have a nice workout. i do wish to see some new and improved lifting machines in the near future like some new lat machines and preacher machines, would love that.

Expérience négative: Payment links expire prematurely. It says you have 72 hours to make a payment click on the link, after 24 hours it expires... I upgraded to black membership the link doesn't work. They resend it the new link expired in 24 hours. Now my membership is blocked they say make a payment in this link which expires in 72 hours, I do it the next day the payment link is expired. This is stupid

Expérience fantastique: This branch is great! Many friendly folks and a great environment compared to the other Fit4Less I mainly go to. However, many of the equipment are outdated and seem to be breaking a lot. I highly recommend your staff check all the machines before somebody gets hurt. I would visit this branch 3-4 x a week so I know exactly which ones need to be repaired if you need some help. Other than that, great spacious gym with respectable and well-mannered gym goers

Expérience négative: I recently decided to cancel my membership, but was told by Aaisha L, General Manager, that I will have to pay an annual fee along with 2 more membership fees. Fit4Less never provided me a 30 days renewal notice for an annual membership, which is an unfair practice as per Ontario's Consumer Protection Act. They are forcing me to pay and quoting their contract that was signed in 2022. As per the Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, that contract is no longer valid and they need to send us a new contacts every year. Aaisha was not helpful and when I raised my concerns, she threatened to hang up and end all conversations. I have filed an official complaint against the business and ask them to do the rightful. You cannot keep blaming your members for your shortcomings and unfair business practices. After this disagreement with the General Manager, I also checked my bank account and found that I have been charged $24 on instances with no explanation about it. Why?? I don't think the provincial or federal taxes change every bi-weekly or monthly, then why would there be discrepancies like these?? Save yourself and pay a bit more to go to a gym that has better business practices and customer service. Horrible experience!

Expérience positive: I join this gym over a yr now it's a great place to workout , I'm also a black card member . I have notice changes lately , lots of machines not fix ASAP. Also guys from are taking the incline benches from the black card area , why the management can't secure the bench to the floor as cedarbre fit4 less . Another thing guys with one black card are taking other guys in that area to do personal training , in that way I can't get the bench to use and other equipment. Hope management look in to these issues .

Expérience fantastique: I called in to cancel my membership as I am no longer in the area. Sarah - was so helpful and polite to work with over the phone. Efficient and knowledgeable. I am sad I am no longer in the area to use the gym she works in.

Expérience négative: This place stinks so bad, especially when you have 90% of your clients from a country that is forbidden to take a shower or put on a deodorant. Like it's a joke of a place, not trying to sound racist but just stating the fact that this place is a mess and needs a change.

Expérience négative: Terrible facility. Small, not much equipment. The manager just walks around and cleans and pays no mind to the members. Also, this facility has no locker rooms or showers on site. Go to the nearby facility on Kennedy. They are 5 star and about a 10-15 minute drive from this facility. They even have personal showers, not stalls. Like an actual lockable room for each individual shower.

Expérience positive: Cons: 1- The machines are not all oiled properly or routinely and there are several I don't use/enjoy simply because the friction renders them useless. 2- The barbells are as cheap as they come, with such passive knurling it might as well not be there, and they bend with 275 pounds. No powerlifting barbells and no deadlift platforms, so If your goal is to powerlift, this is not a good gym for you. 3- There Used to be a lot of stinky people who didn't wear deodorant and you could smell from 10 feet away, but that's not been an issue lately. So that's a positive for now. Pros: 1- Less busy than LA Fitness and GoodLife. Seriously. 2- No semi-naked individuals using the gym as a glorified nightclub. 99.9% of clientele dresses very modestly and it makes for a comfortable environment. 3- There is a hack squat and two leg presses machine. Good leg curls and leg extension. Better than that of Victoria Terrace GoodLife (which at the time of my membership did not have a hack squat) 4- Staff is friendly and hardworking. 5- Best of all OPEN 24 HOURS! Even during holidays. This is the reason alone this place has my business over LA Fitness. ------------------ Overall, a good place to go if you are a newbie or you just don't have much time or budget for the gym, but they make this gym purposely lack in many areas so that as you get more serious in your journey, you have a reason to graduate to the company's flagship chain.

Expérience fantastique: This is the best location in Scarborough! The location is big and has a lot of equipment to choose from. The washrooms are clean and the equipment are always kept up to date. They have TRX, functional equipment, squat racks, strength machines and great cardio options as well. The staff there are welcoming and make you feel a part of the community. The manager Aaisha has done a great job in making this club friendly, clean, and safe for all. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to continue improving on their fitness journey and at an affordable rate.

Some "perks" aren't available early though (no staff onsite before 7 I believe) so no access to tanning or hydro jet maamssage table. Overall, great value for the cost

During my time at the gym, I observed instances of misconduct that warranted attention. There were occurrences where the privileges associated with the black card membership were not fully respected, leading to disruptions in the gym environment. These included failure to clean equipment after use, occupying areas not designated for the membership level, and engaging in disruptive behavior such as loud conversations, and yelling across they gym.. It is important to recognize that each member and staff plays a role in maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere within the gym. Blaming others for not providing assistance when it was not sought or warranted does not address the root cause of the issue. Furthermore, outbursts directed towards gym staff were observed to be disrespectful and disruptive to the gym community.(if unwarranted) While forgetting membership cards occasionally is understandable, repeatedly setting off alarms by attempting to access areas without proper authorization disrupts the gym's operations. Additionally, failing to properly sanitize equipment after use can lead to complaints from fellow members and compromise hygiene standards. In regards to mentioning a medical condition as an excuse, it is important to communicate any accommodations needed with the facility staff. If a medical condition has been shared and documented, efforts can be made to address any challenges faced. However, if actions such as recorded outbursts and misuse of membership privileges occur without valid justification, it is important to take responsibility for one's actions and seek resolution through appropriate channels. Maintaining a respectful and cooperative attitude is essential for fostering a positive environment. She is one of the many reasons to join fit4less; she has excellent people skills, she treats the gym like it is her own investment. It's disheartening to see such a lack of enthusiasm and helpfulness from the people who are supposed to assist and support members. Moreover, a staggering 30% of the gym's equipment is seemingly always under maintenance. This means that a significant portion of the facilities are unavailable for use, which greatly hampers workout routines and limits the variety of exercises members can perform. It's incredibly frustrating to arrive at the gym, only to find that essential equipment is out of order yet again. This persistent issue speaks volumes about the gym's maintenance practices and their commitment to ensuring a fully functional environment for their members. In conclusion, my experience at Fit4Less Gym has been marred by subpar service from the staff and the constant unavailability of equipment due to maintenance issues. Almost never will you find this place out of condition, the staff work hard to make sure everything is up to standard and they make the equipment look as brand new as possible!!

Expérience négative: I feel compelled to share my recent, incredibly frustrating experience at Fit4Less. I visited the gym yesterday, and I must say that my encounter with the staff left me both angry and disheartened. I was instructed by a staff member to return a single weight plate I had been using. However, another gym-goer advised me to leave it for their use. What followed was entirely unacceptable. This individual not only threatened to report me to the manager but also implied that my membership could be canceled as a result. Throughout the day, I received multiple calls which I couldn't immediately answer due to my work commitments. When I finally returned these calls, I was met with a response that left me shocked and frustrated. Your staff informed me that my membership would be canceled and instructed me to visit the manager for resolution. I called back few times and got the same response. She wasn't polite. Upon calling my home location repeatedly, I faced an unhelpful and rude attitude from the staff. They consistently claimed that the manager was unavailable. After three persistent calls, I finally managed to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, her explanation regarding the incident did little to alleviate my frustration. It made no logical sense that I should have been forced to return a single weight plate when the person immediately following me was going to use it. What concerns me most is the targeted and unfair treatment I experienced from your staff (threating to cancel my membership). I observed other weights left on various machines by different individuals, yet this staff member chose to focus solely on me and issue threats regarding my membership.

Expérience fantastique: This is a great gym for the price. Folks giving bad reviews for things like machines being out of order need to have a go at a few more budget gyms, they'll find this is common and hardly a serious inconvenience. Yes, it's very busy at peak times, again that's not their fault, it's one of the only (or possibly only) affordable gyms for a massive swath of East York. It's like being mad at the highway for traffic...you absolutely get what you pay for, and I'd say you even get a bit better than what you pay for here.

Expérience négative: I used to be a member of this gym pre-covid. I recently rejoined and I have to say the standards have definitely dropped. I will start by saying the staff members were very helpful and friendly, so 5 stars there! However, I want to mention the less than stellar conditions: 1. The gym was generally dirty and it smelled really bad! 2. There were quite a few machines out of order. 3. There were no cleaner spray bottles at the paper towel dispensers, so the machines weren't getting cleaned after each use....ew! 4. The massage chairs were all hogged for an hour by a group men who had their socks off (shoes off I understand, but barefoot is unhygienic). They seemed to be a group of friends who were just hanging out and lounging on their phones, long after the massages were finished. No one else could get to use the massage chairs. This location used to be so nice, orderly and clean, now it's just disappointing and gross. I hope management will take these points into consideration and make some changes for the better and bring those standards back up. I know we are paying "for less" but that shouldn't mean unsanitary conditions.

Expérience positive: Great gym for the price. It's busy but not as busy as some other and more expensive gyms in the area believe it or not. I've had three other gym memberships with different companies in Scarborough and I still prefer this gym over the others. You cannot beat 24 hour access!

Expérience négative: This place smells too bad and it’s overcrowded. And the day I joined there wasn’t a single day some machine was under maintenance. Every other day some machine is not working, too irritating to work out over here. And the staff never stays at their place, so always in an emergency, you have to keep finding them.

Expérience positive: “The machines are so close you could literally hear the next person’s breathing and the music on their headphones!” Been a member at this gym since Covid. The location is conveniently located next to dollar store and no frills. I could complete my workout and buy groceries at no frills before returning home. There is also ample free car parking at this Eglington square mall. The club is also 24x7 with its own entrance accessible any time. The gym also does not feel claustrophobic like the Kennedy Fit4less which was literally a basement converted to a gym. This gym is well ventilated and feels spacious with it’s high ceiling. Recently they have upgraded and added almost every equipment you could think of including the staircase machines. There are enough change rooms and locker stalls. The workout equipments are also maintained in good working order. Now for the not so good things. There is no water station, only a vending machine which sells water bottles for like 3$! Recently they upgraded and cornered off an area for the privileged Black members. This caused them to move the machines much closer together for the regular members. The machines are so close you could literally hear the next person’s breathing and the music on their headphones! I guess Covid would not approve this change, cause there is a high probability you could be smothered in your neighbors’ sweat droplets! Ewww! Did I also tell you the gym gets super crowded on weekday evenings. Yearly fee is running in excess of 240$ for the regular membership and it keeps increasing every year. I detest coming to this gym but there is no better option in this neighborhood. The LA fitness at Eglington and Warden is another big crook.

Sarah starts working right away with the cleaning, filling the spray bottles and the paper towel dispensers.The gym is fairly spacious and is a great location. Great value for sure!

The staff on mornings when Sara isn’t schedule do not arrive at 7 am. . . . sometimes they aren’t there until after 7:30 am . Today I arrived at 1 pm & AGAIN no staff. Not able to use the equipment I paid to use AGAIN‼️

Expérience fantastique: I have tried all locations of fit 4 less gym. The golden mile location is the cleanest, and the staff is extremely professional, friendly, accommodating, helpful, and courteous. The manager is extremely helpful and accommodating to all the guests. She’s doing a wonderful job. The washrooms in this gym are the cleanest compared to any other location and most of the time all the equipment is functional.

Expérience négative: Not the best gym in town. Thankfully its close to my house. It gets really busy in the evenings, there could have been more equipments, black card should have had more benefits like the complimentary bags or towels but they don’t do it anymore. The gym needs more mirrors. Overall, its ok. Im happy im getting a place near my house to workout.

Expérience fantastique: Larger location with plenty of equipment. Rarely need to wait for a machine mid day on a weekend, even in January. Staff keep it pretty tidy.

Expérience positive: 1:00 am The gym is overcrowded by unpaid (gate breakers) hygienists. Its disgusting witnessing a grown group of adults cheating on a $4 gym subscription. Most of them they showered on baptism only.

Expérience négative: I have been a member of this gym for some time now, and unfortunately, I have noticed that there are often machines that are out of order or broken. It seems that the gym management does not address these issues in a timely manner, which can be frustrating. Additionally, I have found that the cleanliness of the gym, particularly the bathrooms, is not up to par! I have contacted the gym's management multiple times to report these issues, but unfortunately, no action has been taken

So I went to another location and guess what….my access was denied cause I’m assuming their network is all connected and it thinks I’m at the gym. Worst part about about this company is they don’t even leave a contact number for you to reach out to or complain or anything. Why? Cause they could care less about you and just want your money!

They took 60$ out of my account after I CANCELLED and quote “there’s nothing we can do about it”. This company is a scam I feel sorry for Goodlife to be getting their image ruined because of Fit4less for years now.

It will be busy in the evenings but I find Fridays/Sundays/Holidays the best time to visit if you do not want a crowd. Rayyan is your hardest worker !! Give this man a raise Special shoutout to Sariya and Ted as well !!
