Expérience fantastique: Very well maintained facilities and provides access to a large variety of workout equipment for a reasonable price (wouldn't skimp out on the massage chairs ;) )

Expérience positive: Great gym, but wish showers were open 24/7! As a blue-collar worker, I start my day early and often work out around 4 a.m. before my 6 a.m. commute. It would be so helpful if the showers were accessible without staff around since the gym has 24/7 surveillance to keep things in check. Having a shower option would make it much easier for early-morning members to go straight to work feeling fresh.
Expérience positive: The staff are very friendly and keep the gym clean. They once helped me find my lost headset, and another time my gym card. Some lockers need refurbishing or replacement, but that's a management decision I guess. Also hoping for an expansion like a second floor or something

Expérience fantastique: I say the gym has changed a bit since a year ago; the staff are better, and they care a lot. It shows that they are getting trained properly by the manager. 2 years ago, I had a bad experience with 2 staff members, but now it's different. I've noticed a lot of unfair comments about the gym, and let me tell you that the price for the gym for what they are offering is pretty good. The only problem is it's packed, and others don't respect the norms of the gym in Canada. By the end of the day, the workers are probably getting paid minimum wage to clean the bathroom, keep the gym clean, organize things, and work on the business side. You should give them a break and place yourself in their shoes; most of us don't realize that we are saying things that make others defensive.

Expérience positive: I have been a member herw for seven years and since covid this gym has gone down 70%. Gym not vwry clean, people working out with flip flops and crocs. Mavhines not cleaned amd most of the time no paper at cleaning station and do not see the employees very much. Waiting 10 mins for tanning room cause no one is at the counter. Rwason for staying at this gym is the price. Very disappointing.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym! It's a small one but I've been going there regularly for a while.. For someone who wants to begin it's great but it doesn't have every single piece of equipment big gyms would have..the price you pay is cheap and reasonable however in certain times it's super crowded..I try to go either throughout the day if I can (rush hours could be ok but sometimes crowded and late at night the same). Weekends are the best time to go. Once every end of the month you can also bring a guest on Thursdays and use massage chairs with a regular card member. I just wish it was a bit bigger space with slightly more equipment otherwise everything is great! The atmosphere, the maintenance and the staff is very friendly..I haven't had any issues in 2 years so far..!

Expérience négative: Every morning at the gym i watch CP 24 news while exercising. This Friday this program didn't appear on any of the TV's. Since all the staff members were locked in their room I had to knock on the door. A young lady told me that she can't help me because they "never change channels". When i said that they always had this channel she called the manager. The manager yelled at me: "First of all get behind the desk"!. There is no need to be rude to the members! It doesn't increase enrollment or improves the gym experience.

Expérience fantastique: Most embarrassing thing happened at the gym, for some reason I thought it would be fine to put my bag behind the stair master because I thought it was far enough away, it wasn't and got sucked under. Told the front desk and they were so nice about it and luckily a tech was able to get it out and I apologized profusely because of how embarrassed I was but they didn't make me feel bad about it at all (even though they had every right because that was so stupid of me)

Expérience fantastique: I usually go to Fit4less Westmount but I decided to visit this on bring your friend to the gym day and loved it !!! Great customer service ..Khadije helped us and she was amazing ..honestly I am more excited to come to this gym because of her exceptional customer service .. will definitely tell my friends to come to this branch more often :)

Expérience fantastique: Switching to Fit4Less has been a great economical choice for me. I was a member of GoodLife for many years and, while I do miss the familiar faces, Fit4Less has everything I need. Plus, this location is super close to home, making it convenient to stop in. Accessing certain equipment can sometimes get tricky due to the limited options and occasional overcrowding. But it's to be expected, especially for a membership at this price point.

Expérience positive: This is a discount gym. You get what you pay for. In this case it is good value. The Beaverbrook-London location is well equipped, fairly well maintained considering it is not always staffed during its 24 hours. Because of the location and low fees it does get busy though, you may have to wait for the machine you want.

Expérience positive: It has lovely environment, neat and clean. But I don't know why people don't have ethics to workout here. Like if you're done with your set and you need rest for 5 mins please get up and let the others to use machine meanwhile... I don't want to be specific but some couple occupy machines for tiktok shooting and all. They don't let others to use. Please owner look into it and make some policy. Thankyou
Expérience fantastique: I want to give a big shoutout to the two ladies on staff that were working on Friday November 13, 2020. While I was working out, another member of the gym was asked to leave for not wearing a mask when being told to. The member left and came back through the security door. He came back in wearing a mask and started to cause problems, by grabbing weights and barbells from other gym members. Which could of cause serious injuries by doing that and dropping weights. I inform the staff about a verbal altercation breaking out. That frustrated member would say some inappropriate comments to the two ladies on staff. The frustrated member threatened to call his lawyer and he called the police for no absolute reason, other than on himself for trespassing, by refusing to leave the premise. The frustrated member finally left the premise. Usually I win myself over by achieving my goals and improving to get better and stronger. Tonight, the two ladies on staff won me over for how they handle the situation and follow the protocols of the gym. No staff member should be treated like that.
Expérience fantastique: UPDATE: It's the very best gym for me. I love rewarding myself for all the sweaty workouts by getting as much massage as I feel that I require, which is more than the aforetimes 10 minutes but of course less than 35-ish minutes per session, and I look forward to it, especially after a long day. I'm glad the technology of scanning my membership card to prompt the hydro bed and massage chair to turn on actually exists now. I'm delighted. I bet more people have upgraded to a Black Card Membership upon finding out about this splendid feature. Bravo! It's a great gym. I'm quite surprised that it's still always packed full of people even though it's not the start of the year anymore. Everyone is devoted to embettering their health and vitality, which I can plainly see there. In the past, there were way less people who went to the gym on a regular basis, but now, there's clearly very many. I hope the place expands into more space with more equipment so that there's never a need for someone to wait until others are done using the equipment that they want to use. I wish I could just scan my black card to use the massage bed instead of asking at the front desk, and I also wish that the massage time is longer than 10 minutes, but technology isn't there yet. Overall, I like this gym very much and I hope that I will get stronger and stronger and not hit a plateau with my strength and endurance training

Expérience positive: The gym is easily approachable by public transport. It is well maintained and clean. It has all necessary equipments for workouts, including private section for Black Card members. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Expérience positive: The gym is for the most part clean but the air is very musty, poor air circulation or the temp is set up too high, the temp isn’t cool enough to have a good workout, I feel sticky before I even start my workout.

Expérience négative: Not a gym meant for heavy lifting. Only 2 squat racks, not much room in the gym for deadlifting either -no deadlift platforms. Price is cheap but crunch fitness is a better alternative for the same price if you're not looking only to use free weights and machines.

Expérience négative: The building looks good from the outside, but inside of the gym is small and very crowded. I wanted to ask the staff about an upgrade. There were 2 girls working at the front desk, and 1 girl was just flirting with a dude for like half an hour. I had to wait for 15 mins to speak to the other girl because of the lineup. Like I understand that a love story can happen anywhere, but you are literally working?? Then they said they have opened a ticket for me, and it will take 3 days to process. 3 days later, nothing happened, I did not receive any email, so I had to go to the website and request a ticket myself.

Expérience négative: Hello, I called into the Proudfoot Fit4Less location Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1:40PM to discuss a charge to my account, which had never been clearly stated to me (the annual $63.27). The employee I spoke to was rude and disrespectful. I cannot believe that a staff member was able to speak to a client so disrespectfully and refused to transfer me to a managers voicemail, provide we with an alternative staff member to speak to, or give me any solution other then argue with me repeatedly and ultimately resulting in the employee hanging up on me- this is absolutely shameful services. I would strongly suggest the Fit4Less Canada use the money collected from the patrons annual $63.27 “cleaning fee” and invest in costumer services training for their staff.
Expérience négative: Giving 1 as 0 or -5 is not an option. Their staff is the worst. I have been a member for more than a year. Today I went with my uncle and the girl on reception told me that your uncle can go around first day but you need a membership going forward. They let us in and all of sudden first one decided to create a drama and came to my uncle and said you can't stay here, in front of everyone. I mentioned to her that you are insulting an elderly person and we'll take membership, please don't do that. She being drama queen said no. I tried to make her understand that it's not appropriate what you are doing but she didn't understand. My uncle, being visitor to this country, got scared. At last she ordered me to leave the gym right away. Then the other girl showed up and tried to be heroine and said I was the one who gave this idea to her. Finally we left the gym as my uncle was nervous. Whole team is either racist or out of their mind. They are harming the business for fit4less
Expérience fantastique: The gym is good for what you pay for. People put the weights back and are respectful. It can get busy but can't still get a good workout in. No water fountain, but do love the Yaga water. It is extra, but worth it.
Expérience fantastique: Finally has a water fountain. Wasn't sure if they knew they were running a gym at first. Basic access to clean drinking water that I don't have to get out of a nasty bathroom tap at a gym should be a legal requirement.

Expérience négative: I love Fit4Less but this is one of the worse locations in London for sure. Spray bottles consistently empty, change rooms are never swept enough, weights (plates) are always racked like a child that’s never been in a gym put them away and contrary to what it looks like from the outside, it’s rather small so there isn’t a lot of machines or space. Plus there’s more smith machines than actual squat bars so that’s pretty whack too. Of course all gyms have busy times but with it being so close to UWO, it’s actually gross how crowded it gets. Recommend the Huron/Highbury location for sure.

Expérience positive: They don't have a water fountain and their billing process and setup is a bit slimey. But very cheap with decent equpiment. No open squat racks unless you upgrade to their Black Card at which point you can access the squat racks in a poorly ventilated room.

Expérience positive: Good place to work out. It gets a bit crowded sometimes and you may have to wait a bit for a machine, but you can't beat its low price. They have the very basics like showers and lockers, but they don't have a drinking fountain. Overall, it's a decent gym if you just want a place to work out and want to pay as little as possible.

The staff is rude and when i called and asked them to cancel the membership they cut the call on me . After calling back i was told that the membership is cancelled and i was charged for a renewal and won’t be refunded back. Never going back

Expérience négative: Very clean environment, and used to be my go to gym for half a decade until I was double charged fees from the beginning of the Summer because of a bank change in which I had already paid the late fee, no problem. Who I would assume is the manager did not work with me at all, and loudly said I was charged again because there was lack of funds or NSF in the account (unprofessional), even though I had been assured by another worker that it switched to my new account from the inactive account and was paid up to date.

Expérience fantastique: Friendly staff and great atmosphere, can be a little crowded but other than that a great gym. Had an issue with a refund and the manager, Leah handled it very professionally and quickly despite the head office handling it poorly.
Expérience positive: It’s alright. Cheap but very small. They do have necessary free weights and machine to get the job done for the most part but the gym environment isn’t the best mainly due to limited space. No squat rack though, I almost forgot. That’s a big minus.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym for the price. Main problem is that they don't have a water fountain, but the place is pretty clean, the weights are usually organized, its usually not too busy, and there's plenty of cardio machines. Unfortunately, they don't have a normal squat rack, they just have the smith machine. However, for the small price, this place is definitely worth it.

Expérience négative: Strange set-up, no proper change rooms with lockers. (Lockers and showers are shared and accessible in the main space - not sure if this is standard but personally not a fan). Very few paper towel/cleaner stations as well… makes it difficult to clean equipment once you’re done. This is a student gym - I would recommended steering clear if you don’t want to be perceived. Staff seem nice and the gym is relatively clean.

Expérience positive: The gym is nice but there is no water fountain for some reason and every once in a while the doors will not open when you scan your card. The attendants see a bunch of us crowding by the door when the doors don't work and will ignore or look away. I had to call one of them to get it open after she just sat there at the desk doing nothing, as she watched us. Once we were able to go through the door, she accused us all of not having valid memberships, instead of verifying our memberships were still valid. I finally got in after that 15 minute fiasco. The group of us at the door were all coming in separately - if all of us are scanning our cards and it's not working - perhaps someome shohld come over to see what is going on instead of walking away like the staff did today. Someone should look into these issues and have employees understand that people shoild not wait this long to get into a gym due to a faulty door.
Expérience négative: They don’t accommodate for new comers. Service Ontario says it’s 6 week for a health card. Fit4less won’t let you go in. If you don’t have one connected to a QR code. Even when you have 2 doses and booster shots.
Expérience positive: Have to have a black card membership to have a water fountain available to you. Good selection of equipment but they let way too many people in the weight section and I’ve seen people almost drop weights on each other since they’re too close. Safety concern. It’s well maintained and staff is very friendly!
Expérience positive: The club is kept very clean. All staff I’ve encountered over the past year that I’ve been a member at this gym have been fantastic. For a low-cost gym, I didn’t expect much, but it’s risen to the occasion. The only drawback is sometimes this location can be swarming with students and machine-hogs. Other than that, it’s been a great experience.

Expérience positive: BRING YOUR OWN WATER! The place is great with variety of machines and spaces to move around with natural lights. Only thing surprising is not having any water fountain! Being the flagship location promoting health and fitness it is appalling to find the sneaky ways to push the patrons to buy bottled water or forcing them to refill from the washrooms!
Expérience fantastique: Great experience so far. Staff are friendly and the gym is clean. There is no standard squat rack (smith machine only), but overall the gym is well-equipped. Recommended! Update (May 2022): They have added 2 new squat racks in a room for black card holders!

Expérience négative: They didn't process my cancellation correctly and I continued getting charged when I shouldn't have. Maybe they're short-staffed, I don't know. Something to be aware of. UPDATE: I continue to be charged even after I have received an email from Fit4Less, stating all payments will stop and I will be refunded all payments taken, since I cancelled within ten days of starting. This is ridiculous, and is frankly damaging to the GoodLife brand. I will never use a GoodLife (or subsidiary) gym again. The gym itself is okay. The equipment is pretty standard. Only strange thing I noticed is that some of the equipment is strangely slippery because they have this high-durability hard plastic material as opposed to a more textured faux-leather material that I've seen at most other gyms. There are showers and change rooms but no actual locker rooms, so the experience is very bare-bones. No water fountains or ways to fill a water bottle on the gym floor aside from going to the bathroom. Fees are very cheap though, so if this is what you want, you should like it. I decided to spend a little bit more at another gym. In the end, my one star review would probably have been a 4/5 given the low fees and general quality of amenities, but I take off one star for the issue with cancellation. But then I continued to get charged to my bank account, and the remaining stars were taken away.

Expérience fantastique: Aug 31st- 2021 I just want to thank the person who just helped me out over the phone.. This was not even my home gym and she was so helpful. It was much appreciated to get a live person at the end of the line:)
Expérience fantastique: Very economical and value for money! Neat and clean and well maintained equipments.
Expérience négative: I returned to Fit 4Less under the pretense that the clients would sanitize on the way in. THEY DON'T. That they would wear there mask unless they are exercising. THEY DON'T WEAR MASKS. Clients are to clean up afterwards. THEY DON'T. The staff are to clean between shifts. Every machine is not cleaned between. They look for messy machine only. The ladies room was filthy I had to tell staff to clean it up. It should have been done between shifts. This was the last time I went .You can't even speak with anyone to cancel and refund. I guess I will go to the bank and stop payments. I did speak with the manager he said he agreed with me but he can't make anyone follow the rules.
Expérience fantastique: This is the first gym I have ever become a member of, and for the price I am very pleased! The staff were very helpful and friendly when I was first getting set up, the facilities are clean, and you get some pretty good amenities for the black card membership.
Expérience positive: Can be very, very crowded at times. Not enough equipment and benches for weightlifting, meaning you'll probably be standing around waiting for one to become available, especially during busier hours. Lack of a water fountain is significant and a bit ridiculous for a gym. This location does have a few extras like tanning beds and massage chairs, which is nice. For a budget gym it's not too bad, you get what you pay for.

Expérience négative: Im so upset with this service. I have placed my account on hold so i dont get charged an im still getting charged. There is no customer service to deal with. No help at all. Never ever coming back to this gym. definatley do not recommend.
