Expérience fantastique: Joined up Aug 11th. The staff is so friendly. They have everything I need and more. Always clean. You have to try the water massage beds.

Expérience fantastique: I love this gym staff are great it’s never busy when I go and there’s lots of great machines, but I would love to see another pec fly machine as there’s only one which makes it a very busy machine all around great gym would recommend.

Expérience positive: Showers were clean, hot and powerful. The staff were friendly. Wifi wasn't great.

Expérience négative: I have faced acts of racism towards me for the past 2 days in this gym during midnight shift. If no issue is resolved it would be better for me to cancel my membership and go elsewhere.

Expérience positive: The friendliness of staff, the cleanliness of the gym, and the short amount of time it takes to repair ‘out of service’ machines are all 5 star. It is the increasing number of members who think machines are their personal armchairs to relax and text on that loses a star in my rating. Not a quick text, but up to 5 minutes! They are oblivious to others who are wanting to use ‘their’ machine. A sign stating “Please be courteous to others and refrain from texting while using a machine” would go a long way.

Expérience fantastique: I came to this gym and was warmly greeted by Brendon. He informed me very enthusiastically about the various gym equipment and how to properly use them. Brendon was a 5 star employee (if I could put more stars I would). Would highly recommend coming to this gym and asking Brendon for a tour of the place as well as proper guidance to use the machines appropriately. Good job Brendon!

Expérience négative: Just stopped to get a tour of the gym to decide if I wanted to join. Was told I had to fill out a form which included my DOB and email. What does your age have to do with touring a gym. They just lost a customer.

Expérience positive: I really like planet fitness, but I wish their tread mills allowed for external devices to be connected to read heart rate. Every time I try to connect it says device not found. I tried on their other machines and my device works fine. I use the heart rate to do HIIT training. Otherwise great gym!

Expérience positive: The crowd meter is very inaccurate. Had to give up working out tonight even though supposedly it's 2 out of 10 for busy but should really be more of an 8 out of 10.

Easy 5 star if you can fix the massage chairs, everytime I visit at least one of the hydro chairs is broken and one mechanical massage chair in the TV room is constantly broken. Usually come here after labor job or hard workout and need the massage for recovery. Trainer is great Usually not too busy Convenient location But FIX THE MASSAGE CHAIRS

Expérience fantastique: Recently I've rejoined PF( only stopped due to unavailable in the province I lived in for while). This was my original club I signed up at with amazing staff and dealing with their manager was great experience. I recommend the PF membership for sure as all the perks for the price make it so worth the small monthly payment. I am a Traveler across and so when you need a shower or just a place to get your workout on with some WIFI then gotcha self a membership. Highly Recommend .

Witnessed her mock a client who left upset after she refused to cancel his membership that she apparently forgot to put on hold for the gentleman. After reading through the reviews, I can see I'm not the only one that's witnessed this girl and her poor service. Not sure how she represents this club and her purpose but she needs a lesson in customer service!

Expérience négative: I just got harassed in the locker room by this old guy who was wearing a neon tank top with grey hair for absolutely no reason and he followed me in the urinal to scream at me.He is not mental stable,very dangerous and he should be banned immediately from the facility.It’s a 1/10 for me

Expérience négative: “Judgment free zone” so they say. Yet when I walk out the door and the two girl workers are staring at me laughing at me it really doesn’t feel like it thanks.

Expérience positive: Since the new management has taken over, there is a radical change for the better! Pleasant staff - more cleanliness, less of a 'sketchy' vibe. I had just been pondering dropping my membership - these positive changes keep me coming in. Well done!

Expérience négative: These gyms allow men to change in women's rooms and revoke the memberships of those who have a problem with it. Yikes.

Expérience négative: Maybe shower at home? The showers are the smallest possible, with missing curtains, choice between bare pipeout of the wall or various styles of old corroded shower heads, dramatic temperature swings, and often appears to be out of order. Each change stall is only allotted 1 hook.

Expérience négative: Been going to this great gym for years, but the front counter has become a joke recently, too much gossip by the ladies, and laughing loud.

Expérience positive: Not bad. But I feel the stretching area is quite small. Still, worth for the money!

Expérience fantastique: I have not been to this location for a real workout in about 5 or more years. It is a completely better experience now. I was greeted by smiling trainers and a smiling desk girl when I arrived. I felt so welcome. I lost my last plastic old school keychain card and was hesitant to download the app, because often I experience issues using that method. Your team was there, and it was fairly busy, to help me every step of the way. Whoever is at Planet Fitness, Bell's Corners, at 2 pm around the desk, on January the 25th, must be retained. Beautiful people. A lot has changed! Respect to your staff and the Club Manager!!!!

Expérience négative: Cancelled my membership through the phone months ago just to find out I was still being charged monthly as I was looking through my bank statement. When I called about the situation staff told me they don’t do refunds and “typically” they can’t cancel memberships through the phone but yet he told me he can cancel through the phone. The only thing he could tell me about my situation was that the person who “cancelled” my membership didn’t know what they were doing.

Expérience négative: I wish there was another one on my way home. This one is dirtier than most. Constantly having to search for paper towels. Long periods of time that the front desk is unstaffed and no ability to turn the hydro massage on myself. Computers are unlocked and there's been no one there for 10 mins. I even let the phone ring for 2 minutes and no one wandered over. Also, there's a bunch of black mold in the folds of the shower curtains.

Expérience fantastique: So far so good. Clean club with nicely maintained machines. Everything appeared to be in good working order too. Plenty of parking. Clean change rooms and showers, which is nice. Barbells top out at 60 I believe, before you need to move to the Smith machines. Plenty of cardio options though! Black membership gets you a few nice perks, but for me the only benefit is to bring a different partner on different days (wife or daughter) instead of them each needing their own membership.

Expérience positive: Planet Fitness in Bells Corners, Nepean, is a great place for a gym-only workout. There is no pool, sauna, steam-room, or whirlpool. This is just a straight-up gym workout facility. The staff are very pleasant and professional. The equipment is always clean and in good working order. The change room facilities are also very clean. It is really nice to see people of all ages, from teens to seniors, enjoying their workouts. I highly recommend this place for a good workout!

Staff behind the desk, talking to each other, was in the HIIT section , people come in to use 2-3 machines, right in front of me, they don’t move when I say I will be at this this machine in 2 minutes. You go complain at the front, they go talk to another member instead. They say they can’t always monitor, they donothing at the front! Members with no manners and staff don’t care. Bathroom counters always full of water, rarely clean. Paper machines always empty. This is ridiculous. I’m seriously considering canceling my membership.

Expérience fantastique: Very nice clean gym with friendly staff and a nice spa with hydro massage tanning and full body enhancement red light room, lots of work out equipment to use and plenty of space

Expérience négative: Decent club for a quick workout. But the new equipment is garbage. Especially the new elliptical machines. They don’t have the same stability as the previous ones.

Expérience fantastique: Good size gym. I haven’t seen any gym that can beat their level of cleanliness. Kudos to staff’s effort in keeping the place immaculate. I was there on Sunday morning.

Expérience fantastique: Overall this was a great gym and all the equipment was cleaned and in good condition. Also the locker room was spacious and the showers were clean while I was there.

Expérience positive: I'm really happy this location exists for times that I'm in the west end (though I desperately wish there was a location in the east of Ottawa). It's good that they have a coach for members. My wife however doesn't want to come here and wait for me because she says it smells more sweaty than the Merivale location.

Expérience positive: It is not bad, but it does not have many weight equipment and if too many for cardio. which almost always more than half are empty while those of weight are lost waiting.

Expérience négative: Been a client for a few years but won't be renewing. It is a budget gym, and anyone who joins thinking otherwise shouldn't be surprised, and I am not complaining about that aspect. However, I was accosted by another member, who I have seen accosting and abusing other members as well as Jr. staff and the management won't even respond to me about it. They have a person who threatens others, including staff, and stalks women at their gym and they don't seem to care. I can't support this. For a company that prides itself on a "judgement free zone" their condoning of bullying and harrassment is dumbfounding.

Expérience fantastique: The planet fitness in Bells Corners has wonderful facilities. The bathrooms and the equipment are all clean and well organized. The atmosphere is great. Friendly staff and friendly people. I always get a good workout and manage to find people to have a good chat with at the same time. Highly recommend to anyone from beginner to gym rat or body builder.

Expérience positive: Clean facility and great staff. BUT some machines could use some TLC for their grips, no medicine balls or kettle bells at this location and the 5lb weights for the cable pulldown machines are always missing.

Expérience positive: Keeping in mind this is a budget friendly gym. It still has access to a spa including hydro massage and tanning beds and depending on location a meditation room. This all comes with the black card and u can take a friend along anytime. It’s pretty spacious and never overrun but definitely could add a free standing squat rack.

Expérience négative: Staff is inexperienced. There’s an older gentleman, grey haired and bearded, likes to get confrontational and instigate arguments with patrons. I’ve tried to cancel my membership with him and had to walk away he kept poking and instigating. I’m going back in the morning to cancel, it’s my third final attempt with planet fitness. I think it’s a matter of months before they close their doors, there was absolutely nobody there after new years, no rush customers.

Expérience positive: Just got my membership yesterday (April 14, 2023) and had a cardio workout. I did not really understand how to utilize the elliptical to my advantage but thought I would ask a staff member to explain a few things for me. Guess what, there was not a single staff member available to assist me. I'm told at this point that this location only has one trainer who only works M-F and is off on the weekends. So being Saturday I was out of luck for any help or assistance in this whole gym. What a let down for me considering this was only my 2nd day at this location and my enthusiasm was now totally deflated. When I spoke to a staff worker at the admin. counter about my disappointment and conveyed the fact that I may cancell my membership only two days into getting it, his response was apathetic. Well, I suppose as the saying goes ... you get what you pay for! It's really too bad that PF has such a mediocre attitude towards their clients, considering they could take an opposite approach and learn how to be a much more professional establishment.

Expérience fantastique: The weightlifting area at Planet Fitness is top notch. From the machines to the free weights and helpful staff, it’s one of the best gyms I’ve ever used. It’s helped me make great improvements in my strength and body composition.

Expérience négative: 1-Too crowded!! 2- too many cardio equipments taking up 75% of area… 3-only few smith bars ( no free bars) that too always occupied .. and pull up machine is broken and it’s been out of order for about 3 weeks now!! 4- had to wait long queue to get in on an equipment!! 5- most equipments here are useless and collecting dust! Changing gym now!!

Expérience positive: Well so far so I am really enjoying this gym for my training. Which is a very new experience for me. The staff are very friendly at 4:00 in the morning when I arrive and always helpful.

Expérience négative: Had a membership for years. Went overnights and recently there’s this employee on overnights (older man) who is completely inappropriate and made me uncomfortable enough to cancel my membership.

Expérience négative: I visit this gym almost everyday. Everything was fine until today (04-DEC-2022 Time of Incident: between 5:45 pm and 6:20 pm). While doing some abdomen crunches, the machine collapsed and my neck hit the machine very hard (You can check your CCTV). I immediately informed staff to put a notice so that other people will be aware of it. Even after complaining the staff who were at the reception did not care and behaved like thats not a big deal. This machine had a problem in the past and it was temporarily unavailable but not sure what happened they have removed the notice and people started using it. I may need to visit a doctor as there is a severe neck pain. I highly recommend management to maintain their machines properly and take action towards the staff (lady and a guy) working during that time as they ignored my complaint and did not put any kind of notice to the machine.

Expérience fantastique: Good beginner friendly gym. $15/month and no sign up fee. Clean. Can't really complain about much. Unfortunately there are no squat rack or bench press setups. Three smith machines are provided but are almost always busy.

Expérience négative: upgraded to the black card so i could use multiple locations since i can’t make it to the Brockville one as much since i’m working in Ottawa now. I went here once.. first and last time. The place is very small, gym is build so weirdly and the set up of everything is just not practical. Vibes were just overall not good, didn’t feel welcome and just felt overall very uncomfortable. Needless to say I went back to the basic membership and will only be attending Brockville.. soo much nicer there.

Expérience fantastique: Super clean gym, they make sure that people face no problem, regarding sanitizers, disinfectants and paper towels everytime. Also, SHANE the man, he is super committed to his job ethics. I've seen people just scrolling down their social media, and watching movies, which is sometimes okay too, but this guy... you can always see him working, he makes sure to check every single thing that need attention. If somebody is working so hard even in the night shift, i wonder how he performs on the day time. A big thumbs up to this guy.
