Expérience négative: Equipment damage for months, men's changing room disgusting, washrooms smelling bad, always full of people and the staff is adding more and more new people every day. Personal Training area completely useful. They are always Training on the main room and not in the dedicated space. This place needs improvements ASAP.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve never worked out in my life, so signing up for personal training was a big step for me! My personal trainer, Sasha, is amazing. She explains the various gym tools I work with, what muscles they target, how to use them, and why they’re important for me. She's always focused on me during sessions, correcting my posture and body positioning, and carefully managing my exercise patterns and routine. As a beginner, I find her approach super helpful and motivating. She also checks in on my nutrition, sometimes sharing advice or offering me healthy food she has. She’s an action-taker, not just going through the motions like a robot. I feel a genuine connection with her, and she’s made me enjoy working out. After two months with her, my previous body pain has mostly disappeared—I don’t even notice it anymore. It’s like magic! She also offers great flexibility with scheduling, is responsive, and always strives to provide the best experience for her clients. I’ve noticed the gym tends to get busier in the afternoon, so I’ve learned how to share workout equipment with others from Sasha. Despite that, Sasha remains focused on me while also offering help to others if she sees something that needs attention. The gym is clean, and I love the group workout classes it offers. Caitlyn, the sales representative, was delightful and really motivated me to sign up—she’s excellent at her job. The manager, Derek, is always available and very helpful if I have any questions related to the gym membership and policy. Overall, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and for me, the vibe and experience go beyond just the gym.

Expérience fantastique: It's a great place to work out. Located at the heart of burnaby, close to metrotown, it offers everything that a person needs to workout. Lots of clean, and tidy equipment. There is a also a sauna and massage chairs inside the gym. Staff is cool too

Expérience positive: The employees are the highlight . Luis and Denny and Dudu especially . They are always polite and helpful. Negative would be the $25 drop ins. Equipment is starting to be fixed quicker than previously . Beware corporate rates going up on average $50/ year.

Expérience fantastique: I had Chris Schmid for a little longer than a couple of months before moving to Calgary, and he had me do some stretch and tension exercises that healed my lower back/ glute pain about an 80%. I was struggling with pain for over 4 years so I can't thank him enough. I highly recommend him. As for the place itself, it's always clean and the bathrooms do not reek compared to other gyms I've gone to. They also have lots of dumbbells and I never felt like I had to wait forever for a pair. Thanks a lot, Chris & Goodlife!

Expérience négative: This location really pushes personal training contracts when you set up a membership. It's very uncomfortable because they don't take no for an answer and find ways to keep pushing. You can read other reviews for this gym and see why this often leads to negative experiences. The gym itself is fairly small compared to the volume of people that use it. Their North Road location has a better ratio and layout. The price for the medium package is 80$ a month before tax. Other gyms are far more competitive for lower prices. If you cancel they will bill you for the current cycle and the following one. Overall, I wouldn't want anyone who's looking to start there fitness journey to come into an uncomfortable space where they will put sales ahead of people. You'd be better off paying a bit more for regular yoga or boxing classes. Otherwise, local city gyms or other private gyms offer a better price and a more comfortable environment.

Expérience positive: The staff are friendly and the facilities are good. But some guests have no etiquette. I was busy today, so went at a different time than usual... There was a bearded guy with his hat on backwards, He told me I shouldn't use the equipment because he was putting his bag next to the equipment even though he was using another equipment. I think you need to filter rude guests.

Expérience positive: A great gym with lots of machines and weights. A couple of loose tiles in the washroom floor, but really polite trainers and staff. Occasional out-of-service machine and busy during afternoon hours, overall great gym. Side note: Bring headphones if you don't want to hear the goodlife advertisements play in between your workouts.

Expérience négative: I love the gym, but I give it two stars only because of the personal trainers. The personal trainers are the OWNERS of the gym, literally. The PT Sasha took over an entire area for her and her client, while the "exclusive" personal trainer area was totally empty! We all pay to use the gym.

Expérience négative: Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that trainers will continue to work with you until the end of the contract. Also, the contract is normally between the gym and the client, which means that if you lose the trainer you chose, you will have to pay the trainer cost like normal until they find an alternative trainer for you, regardless of whether or not it matches your desires. Overall, they are not as responsible as they should be, and there is no consideration for the clients. I'm so sorry about this business.

Expérience négative: Clean gym, a bit on smaller side. My biggest feedback is on personal trainers, they have their own dedicated area but they come into members area as well and they think they have priority over regular members. I was working out in this gym for a week and this happened 2 times with same female personal trainer in the morning. She approached me asking how many sets do I have left on the equipment and when I offered her and her client to work-in she completely took over the equipment. Each set was taking 10 min. I had to ask her if I can get my turn and she was not happy. I would imagine if a personal trainer is in regular member area they need to share the equipment as well. I am not sure what benefit a 10 min set with 10 reps has but if you you were offered to work-in please be courteous.

Expérience positive: I like GoodLife Burnaby branch. Prime location, front staff is always nice. However some of customers have no etiquette. Even tho a locker is day-use, a lot of people occupy lockers as if they rent. I emailed management named T. Cha** about this issue in February, and she said they will be working shortly. And FINALLY they put warning stickers on many occupied lockers last weekend which took over 3months. Anyway it is better than nothing to do. Wish you check out day use locker on a regular basis. I will keep my membership since I still like this gym, I am just writing this review to improve your gym.

It took us more than an hour to get the 3 day pass. They don't value your time. The staff is totally unprofessional. Especially those working on the front disk..!!

Expérience négative: pros: - convenient location - cheap - 24hrs - variety of available equipment - has a turf area which is great for various types of dynamic training - staff is friendly (edit: staff is friendly in the emptiest of corporate “we only care about your membership money” way possible, but that’s not a dealbreaker for a gym really) cons (a lot of these things are better even at other goodlife locations, like the one in lougheed. this is just for the metrotown location): - way too crowded. people don't wipe down their equipment, leaving their gross sweat behind. some ppl can be very rude, hit and miss, and best to put headphones on and focus on your own stuff. not a gym to make friends in. smaller gyms are definitely MUCH better for vibes and friendly atmosphere. - weights are never in the right places. very chaotic and disorganized. today i walked up to a power rack and had to go fishing for 45s from everywhere else because none were on that rack. - equipment is not maintained properly. things break and don't get fixed for a long time. sometimes this is innocent but other times there's sharp plastic bits sticking out, or handles have their grips glues loosened making the machine unstable and dangerous, etc. - there are dead spots and bumps and valleys on the ground so you have to know where to go to deadlift without your feet or weights unexpectedly shifting. - weightlifting platforms have caved in on itself and the bar sits like half an inch deeper. seems to be a poor design choice on the platforms as the ones in the PT area are different and don't cause the cave in when weights are dropped. - gym has policies like an area for PT only, or scent advisories, signs for acceptable uses for platforms and racks, signs to wipe down equipment before and after, but none of it is ever enforced? i see people use stuff in PT area, curl on platforms and racks, don't wipe anything down, use way too much perfume and bodyspray (smells like a high school locker room sometimes) and members just do whatever they want. - there are no safeties on bench press set ups so if you want to bench to failure or max out by yourself, or do pin presses, you need to take up a power rack which people are already lined up for all the time. - dumbbells only go up to 100lbs - has kilo bars but only pound plates (lol?)

Expérience négative: Very crowded. No equipment to use. Waste of money. Barely any vacant machine to use for many time slots during a day. One water drinking machine has been not functional for over weeks. The tarker front desk is not friendly not smiling as the other guys do. He also jokes at client's accents. Expérience négative: Too crowded, low standard for cleanliness and hygiene, limited option for equipments, poor maintenance. The club just doesn’t care about anything but money. The place is always full, even at midnight! Sometimes all I can do here is walking around and seeing all the machines are occupied. Such a waste of money!

Expérience négative: UPDATE April 15, 2024: Men’s sauna is finally fixed. It took almost 3 months to fix it , but at least it works. Upgrading my rating since I love the sauna. UPDATE March 26, 2024, 9pm: Men’s sauna still broken, gym is packed as usual with no machines other than some cardio available. Last update from General Manager was that they were waiting for parts for sauna. They have no idea what the timeline is. I’d honestly still recommend another gym if you want to have available equipment and a sauna. ORIGINAL Feb 24, 2024: Would give three stars, but they're very slow with maintenance, and the change rooms are a bit dirtier than I'd expect. One of the reasons I signed up for this gym is the sauna. The men's sauna's been broken and there's no sign they'll fix it. My girlfriend also uses the sauna in the women's change room and it's been faulty for several months (doesn't get hotter than 60 ish degrees). They even have a sign up that says they're looking into it, but no solutions. A sauna should be between 85-95 celsius to see health benefits, otherwise you gotta sit in there forever. The showers are nice, but I can see grime building up on the floors and hoping I don't eventually get some sort of foot fungus. The towels are a nice perk, but they're not very good quality. They just move the water around my body when I'm drying off.

Expérience négative: Good gym with outrages corporate policies. PT is good and amenities are good. Gym manager is reasonable and helpful. Though think twice if you plan to sign up for PT - they will be very ridiculous and will not let you go easily in case your circumstances change. I have moved 29 km away from the gym and asked for refund of PT sessions - they declined it since the policy is over 30 km - such a joke. Would not recommend this place.

GoodLife used to offer multiple group fitness classes in the morning and evening and now they barely provide 3 classes per day. I wouldn’t mind paying more services improvement every year but at this point, GoodLife is robbing everyone blind. If you want a gym that provides group classes, look elsewhere.

Expérience négative: I recently visited Good Life with high hopes for their free trial, attracted by the positive reviews and promises of a welcoming environment. However, despite friendly staff at the front desk, my experience ultimately left me with a sour taste. The initial interaction with the front desk was indeed pleasant. They greeted me warmly and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get started with the free trial. Unfortunately, that was where the positive aspects of my experience came to an abrupt end. Upon expressing my interest in the free trial, I was informed that it was only available on an appointment basis due to a company policy requiring all trials to be booked in with a consultation. While the receptionist maintained their friendliness, the inconvenience of such a restricted trial window left me questioning the gym's commitment to accommodating potential members. Transparency is key in any business, and Good Life fell short in this regard. It would have been far more beneficial for both parties if this crucial information had been communicated upfront, saving me the time and effort of planning a visit. Despite the initial friendliness of the receptionist, the lack of transparency regarding the trial hours overshadowed the positive aspects of my visit. It's disheartening when a potentially good experience is marred by such oversight. If Good Life wishes to build lasting relationships with prospective members, I strongly urge them to reconsider their corporate strategy.

Manager looked like she didn’t want to deal with it and I believe no investigation was made. They better to remove their surveillance camera as they will not check it anyways.

Expérience positive: Hello! I was a founding member since 2016 at goodlife or so, switched to fitness world because I moved cities. But moved back and re-joined goodlife sovereign club! I was upset that Goodlife Metrotown does not keep its Christmas Day and Boxing Day 24/7 hours, curious as to why the change? Despite the higher membership hikes, the gym overall has been fine since my return and a better dedication to gym floor cleanliness and tidiness.

Expérience négative: TL;DR: $2000 CANADA GOOSE JACKET WITH $10,000+ RING GOT STOLEN IN THE CHANGE ROOM AND GYM’S MANAGEMENT (General Manager named Talia) IS DEDICATED TO PROTECT THE CRIMINALS. There’s a thief or a team of thieves at this gym and the gym management would do nothing useful about it because they are protecting the “privacy” rights of the thief/thieves. The general manager Talia, the associate manager named Melissa, and a black lady (of whom I don’t know the name) pushed me around and brushed me off. These 3 staffs are extremely dismissive, derogatory, and hostile. They constantly cut me off mid-sentence and try to gaslight me by saying “your emotions are high and it’s clouding your judgement”when I calmly and unwaveringly ask them logical questions that they are trying to dodge. They absolutely refused to cooperate to view the surveillance footage with me to identify the criminal. I was even able to get help from the building security and view their surveillance footage outside of the gym and inside of the lobby BUT NOT FROM GOODLIFE EVEN THOUGH THE CRIME TOOK PLACE ON THEIR PREMISE. Suspecting it could be an insider job given the amount of reluctance that I received from the gym management. I called the police and was able to get a police officer to talk to them in person AND THEY STILL WON’T SHOW ME THE FOOTAGE. I was talking to other people who go to this gym and they told me that they know a lot of people (even the personal trainers) who got their belongings stolen here and the gym won’t do anything about it.

In March 2023 I canceled my membership and 6 months after cancelation, goodlife fitness continued to take money from my account. They Withrow 3 more payments without letting me know that my money was taken. I feel I'm being robed and my money stolen from my account. I spoked with Malisa, she presented herself as a assistant General manager, she was very ignorant and shows "0" effort to resolve my complain and return money on my account. I would never again sign any contract with this company.

Expérience négative: My husband and I used to go to Goodlife Metrotown for more than a year. We had such a negative and stressful experience when we requested to freeze the membership: 1. I was pregnant, and as it was a risky pregnancy, I asked to freeze my membership. The staff member on the phone was very helpful and informed me that THEY WOULD CALL ME BEFORE I would be charged, close to the end of the period of freeze. I thought that it would be nice. They didn't call me and I WAS CHARGED even though I was unable to practice any physical activity. I called them to inform about what was agreed (what the employee had told me), they said that no one would call me. It is not the client's fault the training structure they offer to their employees.I didn't receive any refund, even I saying that I could send them the doctor's note. 2. Then, with a newborn at home, I requested the freeze again in a different period, and 2 days later, I WAS CHARGED. This is unacceptable. It is no the customer problem how is the financial dynamic of the company. We didn't receive the refund! Finally, we requested to cancel the membership and also because we moved to Calgary. The staff member said that they need 30 days notice - what wasn't informed to us when we signed up. We said that we wanted to cancel right away and we also requested our refund for what we were charged on the 2nd time. The lady said that she would cancel it but the refund could not be made. At the end of the day, we basically paid the 30 days notice with the money that we should receive as a refund (for the 2nd inappropriate charge). We feel extremely harmed by this company, we feel that we were charged inappropriately. This is a company that cannot be trusted and that does not treat its customers honestly. If you want to avoid headaches, avoid GoodLife Fitness.

Expérience négative: It was really hard to figure out how to rate this place.. It’s the only GoodLife near me and after reading all the reviews saying not to come between 5-10, I decided to try it out at 10:15pm on a Monday night. It. Was. Packed. The equipment is fine and exactly the same as any other GoodLife, but you won’t get to use it. The space is waaay too small for the population it’s trying to serve. I also didn’t like how the whole place shakes whenever someone drops their weights (due to being on the second floor), which is constantly. I can’t see how working out here after work is even possible and I have cancelled my GoodLife membership as a result. The space is clean, the staff are friendly enough, but I come to work out, not stand around.

Expérience négative: The gym here is good, but the only bad part is I have a personal trainer here. Our session doesn't end in 1hr and when he had another client before me, sometimes the client is late, but my personal trainer still goes overtime, and I'm usually early and end in 55mins. Don't trust the personal trainer here as they don't really care too much about you and will rip you off. I can't wait for my session to end as I have an awful experience with him. Worst part is he talks to random people, friends and go over there to talk while I'm having a session. Is not his break time. Total rip off.

Expérience négative: I’ve been a member since this gym opened in 2015 or 2016. It’s not what is used to be. Staff is rude and incompetent. Random issues happen with my membership through no fault of my own, and staff will spin up a random reason as to why you got charged and give wrong information. As of late there have been many new members joining and it’s always overcrowded. People are not considerate at all, they’ll leave their bag on a machine and walk away for 15 mins nowhere to be found. If you complain to management about others, they will instead put your account on a hold for a week. Seen it twice now. Place used to be the top gym around but sadly it’s not the same. They’ll keep jacking up prices and change nothing though. Hopefully, you will not encounter any billing issues because 9 times out of 10 you will not be refunded or helped. EDIT: Ironically, the only reason why I’ve left a review is because my emails haven’t been responded to. I’ve sent multiple already.

Expérience négative: The equipment is always needs repairs, and if you let the gym employees about the issues they brush you off as if you're being an annoyance. The female gym employees frequently walk through the men's change rooms, hopefully the same isn't true for the female change rooms. They openly let people take photos and videos in the change rooms, employees don't stop the behavior despite the signage saying it's not allowed. If you want poor quality equipment needing repair and change rooms that do not feel secure, this is your gym. Got a response from management who told me to do what I have already done on multiple occasions without change. Every time I bring up comments I ask that they write it down and I look for corrections but it has been months with no change. Nov. 11 *Update* - Had another bad experience with an attendant calling me an idiot tonight as I finished my workout just as they were closing. I wasn’t even the last person in the gym. Luckily his colleague walked over and said my workout was pretty cool but they'd like me to finish up and I did within 1 minute. Before the second person walked over the first guy was getting irate and I was worried he was going to hit me, he got in my personal space and threatened to drag me out like security. I was glad when the second person walked over and his presence calmed the first attendant. I finished my workout and quickly left the gym before closing time and ahead of a few other people.

Also it seems like at least once a week someone has their stuff stolen, even when it's been locked up. Get good locks or keep your stuff on you.

Expérience positive: Convenient location and friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for years. My qualm is the club is very very busy, especially in the evenings. Early mornings and super late nights are not too bad. When it’s busy, you have to wait a while to use machines, and most people hog them while on their phones not budging for 20 minutes at a time. Good luck ever doing bench press (I’ve removed it from my chest day because it’s impossible to get on one). They need to set time limits on machine use and make some sort of no cellphone policy while you’re using the machine because people will text and instagram for half an hour while there’s a line up to use a machine. Not cool. Either that or add equipment that’s always in short supply. The Edmonton goodlife’s are way bigger so even when it’s busy you don’t have to wait.

Expérience fantastique: If you like crazy busy gyms and stalking people for their machines, then this is the gym for you. I stay at the Element hotel every month for work and I use this Goodlife because it's conveniently in the same building. I wish the drop in fee wasn't so much, but I was given some free entries, so I can't complain. I like the staff and lots of fit people.

Expérience positive: Location is the king here. The machines are in good conditions. More number of sanitisation stations are required. Sauna has been in maintenance for a quite a long time. Better the authority close it. The gym could have been planned in a better way, to accommodate more stretching and free body workout area. Gym looks pretty full in busy hours, even without using all the corners of the facility.

After being a member of 4 different GoodLife locations in Canada this is the only one I’ve seen with no urgency to fix things. Unfortunate with all members that pay good money to use all amenities!

Expérience fantastique: I had a great experience with a trainer here. Trainer asked for my workout goal and time frame, constructed a solid work out routine, along with many knowledgeable fitness tips during the sessions. Trainer does not waste time on any routines that I do not prefer. Each workout session was great, fun and fried from him pushing the max out of me. Really recommend Joseph the trainer here. Solid guy. Gym itself is great. Lots of facilities. But may get crowded during rush hours.

Expérience négative: I have been a member of this gym for many years. This morning, after my shower, while I was not dressed, a male gym employee entered the womens’ change room area. No announcement, nothing. I saw him as soon as he walked in and he turned around and left. No apology, or acknowledgement of this huge violation of my privacy or dignity. Members aren’t safe even in the change room. Goodlife doesn’t protect its members.

Expérience négative: It's been more than a month, their sauna is not working. And they have no answer that how long it's gonna take to get fixed. I think because of winter, they have purposely closed it. Whenever I ask them about the sauna, they sound like they don't have any idea about it and didn't sound so friendly over the call. I am spending 35 dollars bi-weekly to experience this kind of attitude. Not satisfied at all.

Expérience positive: I am still a member and will go there, love the staff super friendly its very clean and sanitized , but a few things is, its small compare to their Northgate location so its more cramped and always busy ! we usually go after 10:30 pm so we can use the machines! For nearly a month they didn’t have music! Which is ironic! Its like going to a club or bar without music. And the last is people bring their gym bags in with them which makes it unprofessional and messy compare to the nice set it has .

Expérience positive: For how much I pay to be at this gym, the women’s section seems disregarded and is pretty small. I wish they would take out some of the extra cardio machines that aren’t used often and replace it with an actual barbell rack. The women’s section is there to make us feel more comfortable but there isn’t even a rack where I can squat or bench. It also tends to be less busy than the main section of the gym, so I enjoy working out there, but the lack of equipment sucks. The only thing present is a smith machine which I don’t prefer over a rack. Also wish a lat pull down machine was there. The northgate location is a lot nicer, unfortunately, metro is the closest to me.

Expérience positive: I started with GoodLife in Calgary, AB not long ago. And I was sent by my company to work in Vancouver for this Oct month. So I started to google where is the nearest Goodlife in town. After some research I picked this one(called Metrotown)but the location is actually right across Crystal Shopping Mall I spent the last 7 days at this gym (at least 2 hours a day). Here to share some of my own experience for the people who is planning to join. -Parking. It is FREE(undergroud) they share the same parking space with the Element Hotel on P2 level (Don't pay for the parking until you entering the gym in 2nd floor) You will see a machine which offers you 2 hrs FREE parking -Cleaness. I've been tryung out 3 different locations in Calgary Goodlife None of those is satisfy until the first time I visited this one in Burnaby. Both the gym & mens changing room are very tidy and clean.(sorry no chance visiting the women changing room) And this is the only location I did my showers in 7 continue days. The staff entering opposition gender changing room I read complaints about this issue which is a male staff entering the women changing room to help a member w/o any notice The same thing happen yesterday A male member lost his key for his locker so a female staff entered tge mem's room to help him to cut his lock. Also the female staff did not get anyone's attention before go in. *(This is for sure an issue & hope the mangement can look into it ASAP) -Shortage of towel Everytime I obtain a clean &fresh towel when entering the gym. They may had that probelm years ago, but nit any more -service of the staff They are very friendly & helpful. The 1st time I couldn't find the entrance of the parking lot, so I called and the staff explained very clearly and be very patient to my questions. And everyday when I left the gym They say goodbye with a smiling face -Equipment. this is the location with all the equipments I need. -Other member attitude Other member are also friendly, even sometime some people spend very long time on 1 machine(20mins). However, if you ask them and they are willing to share the machine in bewteen time. Conclusion: there maybe some other location has a even better standard comapring to this Metrotown location However, I have no complaint and also no bad feeling about this location in my last 7 days trial. Expérience négative: I think it’s unfair to pay $76 monthly membership (above the average) and not having a digital scale for members.I know there’s one in personal trainer rooms which obviously you get charged for that.

Expérience positive: I've honestly given it a 3 star because of how inconvenient working out after work hours is and the fact that members were getting charged full membership price when the club was not even in full operation. I signed up for the convenience of 24 hours but it hasn't been 24 hours since Covid started. They had it back for about 2 weeks then stopped it again due to "staffing issues." It just put a bad taste in my mouth, how I would spend $75/m not to be able to even get a work out in cause of how insanely busy it gets. I used to work out before my shift but now that's not possible. It's too bad because they do have great equipment and a lot of it too. I've never seen a gym with so many squat racks and benches. So that's definitely a plus... I think... since with how busy it is, it doesn't make a difference.

Expérience négative: The facility is very poorly managed. Staff are rude(most of them) with the exception of a few nice staff. They have no value for their members, sauna has been broken for two months now with no clear indication of when it will be repaired. It appears like nothing is being done to have it fixed. If you’re considering signing up here, look elsewhere unless you want to be disappointed. They charge members premium fees for a membership and can’t even provide all the amenities that are promised. These things should be communicated with members and they should be updated on the status of the repair. No repair should ever take 2 months to be fixed.

Expérience négative: If you freeze your account for some period of time they will start charging you after the freeze time expires for membership and a thousand other things. You will just notice your money is dissapearing from your account but they don’t have any explanation for that. They will just say that you HAVE TO pay certain amount, otherwise they won’t be able to cancel your membership.

Expérience négative: Such a weird client experience… so since I just moved back to Vancouver, I was generally trying to get to know some gyms,so I walked in to their gym and try to get some info of membership there. 2 guys at reception told me they could not explain to me the membership but some trainers could, so a trainer whose name is Jared came and told me I had to leave cuz he got another appointment and I will need to come back for getting the membership info tomorrow… So I just asked him if I could have a tour for the gym, he said yes and followed me and introduced me each part of gym, but the meantime he left his appointment aside. (I was so confused, you said you had another appointment but you are also able to give me the tour…but you have no time to explain me the membership info… )After that, I decided to cancel the appointment for tomorrow base on this weird client’s interaction. And the brown guy with pony tail at the reception said to me “ Everything okay with you?” (I was actually a bit of speechless, this guy was a bit aggressive since I met him) Clients are not begging for spending money on you guys, I’m sure they are some better gyms in Vancouver.Wondering to see how the messy and unorganized staff can ran this business well…

Expérience négative: I agree the place is great and the staffs are very welcoming, however, If you are going to register going there, read this first: I've been going since last month and getting a professional personal trainer asking to come to the gym at least 3-4 times a week and just following a plan based on my goal. I was struggling a little bit on the 1st two weeks to use some equipment like barbells because the gym was so busy (6 -8 pm) and you need to wait and try to keep your body warm to do some exercise and it is getting worse this week. Came here last Monday, and today, it was super chaotic. Couldn't find even a free spot to warm up and it is so disappointing. Wasting your time to drive here , Not being able to follow your program, I am not sure if I want to continue going to this location while I have two training sessions are still remained. Please note that I spoke to one of the stuffs and he told me at this time of the year it is normal that the gym is packed which is not acceptable, they should mention it to every new member or who wants to register in the first day. Again it is so disappointing !

Expérience négative: I’ve been a member since this gym opened in 2015 or 2016. It’s not what is used to be. Staff is extremely rude and incompetent. Random issues happen with my membership through no fault of my own. Don’t let the location fool you, there are many nearby gyms that are actually worth your money.

Expérience négative: Why are you not open 24 hours? Everything COVID related is done now. Also, stop flicking the lights on and off close to closing, someone's going to "accidentally" get hurt one of these days because they can't put heavy weight back, and I don't think you guys visually impairing gymgoers is in the contract I signed. Other than that, and the overly crowded atmoshpere, not a horrible place to workout.

Expérience négative: Price you are paying is not worth it. Gym isnt even 24 hours anymore and super packed. Go somewhere else. I heard the gym that opened in brentwood is 20 for a month compared to goodlife 60 . Xd. Every other day at least one major thing /bench/pulley/rows is broken….

Expérience positive: Last year, I got touched inappropriately by a one of the patrons. The case was escalated twice by management but they still decided to go ahead and let him continue to go there. Even with video evidence! Such a shame. Safe to say that I will not be going there at this time. The only good thing I can say is that when I told one of the employees Farah, she was so sweet and told me that she would do her best to try and open it up the case for me. Thank you Farah for showing some kindness!

Expérience négative: I knew too little to join this gym and the only thing I liked about this gym is the group workout. Signing up process was years ago but I still remember it was a pain. And the manager didn't give me any reason to not quit here.

Expérience négative: My wife called to cancel her membership in May 3 2020 as she was giving birth later in May. (Provided phone record) For 8 months she was getting charged without her knowledge. They are practically thiefs and take advantage of anyone.

Expérience négative: Terrible system and bad customer service. I was unawared that I was charged for 8 months without using the gym even though I called to cancel the membership. They failed to send me a confirmation email and told me it was my mistake to not check? I kindly asked them to check the phone call record since I can provide them the exact date and time(with proof of call) that I called to cancel. They claim to not have phone call record in the system ( which they should in case of error like this) and the general manager was extreme cold and not helpful. I even explained to him why I didn’t notice these charges was because I had a baby in May and It was an extremely busy time of my life. I understand he goes by the rule but not trying to help at all, not return phone call when they said they would and not having an understanding, is the attitude that I don’t appreciate.

Expérience négative: It's a nice gym and the staff are good. Unfortunately, you shouldn't expect to follow any type of regimen if you go after work hours. Place is slammed and cannot accommodate the volume of clients during peak hours.

Expérience fantastique: Parking in the merchant parking area in P2 is very convenient. Remember to validate your parking in the gym! Gym is very nice - one of the nicest I've been to.

Expérience négative: One of the worst gym facilities I have been without exaggeration. They haven't been 24/7 as they claim to be since March 2020. Either remove the sign or fix your operating hours !! Also, they have someone replying generically to all the reviews without addressing any of the concerns, as if that's going to make it better.

Expérience fantastique: I can say nothing but good things about this place. Went in to inquire about membership. Had a tour of the facility. I cannot fathom Bonnie Henry's reasons for closing gyms. The entire gym was sparkling clean. You could tell that very high standards are kept in place here. The two staff members I reacted with were fantastic. I came away with everything I needed to know.

Expérience négative: Asked for a water bottle because they closed the fountains for non bottle drinking, they said I need to refer 2 people to get a water bottle. Me and my friend spend $120 a month and can't get a water bottle that costs $1, they wouldn't even let me buy it. Great customer appreciation!
