He somehow manages to make every workout challenging yet fun – I always leave feeling like I’ve crushed it, even when I can barely walk. Gustavo’s mix of expertise, motivation, and humor means I never dread a session. He knows how to push me to my limits (while making me laugh), and I’m seeing real results. Expérience négative: I filed a complaint today December 7th 18: 32pm, I go to exercise in one of the machines near the bathroom and someone put a jacket on the machine which I consider unhygienic, then I go to the training staff guy and tell him the situation, but he tells me that he does not know and can not do anything then I go to the reception and a staff girl removes the jacket which I am grateful, but minutes later two people come to me to ask about the jacket and make claims which was recorded on the cameras, then I think they should have control over not letting people put their clothes on the machines as several people also need to use them and I really feel very uncomfortable with this situation.

Expérience positive: Average gym but always seems to smell. Proper ventilation would be nice! I had to end my membership after two years of forcing myself to go. I do like their machines/ equipment but it’s always overly crowded. Its fairly priced but staff are also not the friendliest.. sorry!

Expérience négative: I got my membership recently but it was too crowded for all the time I visit and I wanted to cancel my membership but I got charged for their annual fee without reimbursement for $52 excluding their biweekly membership fee and when I asked for the reimbursement they said it was nonrefundable that I think it’s not fair. I’ve been there member for only like a month now and I cannot stand it. $52 membership for just one month? Saying that it’s an annual membership and when I wanted to cancel the membership, it’s a nonrefundable one they said. Doesn’t make any sense. Better pay a few more bucks and get a better place.

Expérience positive: Thank you to the Manager for speaking with me on the phone and offering me a make up session. Thank you for making me feel heard as a client and for following up with me —- Unfair services. I enrolled the gym yesterday and have been having a good time. But I did not have a good experience with the complimentary personal trainer introduction. It was all good at first, the instructor was explaining to me the three phases, what my goals are, and what I need to do. However, once we got to the price section and I informed I am not interested in enrolling, only in taking the complimentary. His attitude changed immediately, he cut off the meeting at 20min and basically said goobye, He did give me the biopedance which I am thankful for, but the switch in attitude was unnecessary and somewhat rude. He said "you will not achieve any goals without this" basically telling me that I cannot try for myself. I was honest and upfront on the application form that I wanted tips for endurance. The website says "Yes! We offer all new Personal Training clients a Free Goal Session, where you can spend 50 minutes one-on-one with a Personal Trainer. Together, you’ll review your goals, and determine the best plan of action to achieve them. Your Personal Trainer will do a short assessment to see where you’re at, take you through a few exercise samples, and then discuss your options. Sign up for the Free Goal Session!" It took less than 20 minutes, we did not do a single exercise sample and I felt demotivated. I am not signing up because I am unimployed. $50 is what I can pay a month. Now, when I have a job I will not considering enrolling with this trainer. The location is perfect and it fits on my budget. I went for the morning class, which ended up being cancelled last minute, but I stayed for the treadmill and to explore the space. Please review your costumer service experience with this free session, people should not be kicked out earlier, told they cannot achieve their goals and be treated like that.

Expérience négative: They should control their admissions, rules and cleanliness a little, in the issue of admission, there is overpopulation you can not use the machines without someone going and asking you, in rules; please use DESODORANT that disgust!... and in cleaning... better I say nothing... the bathrooms always dirty... please more attention!

Give them a raise, they exhibit management and leadership potential. The rest need basic social and greeting skills.

Expérience négative: I have been to Fitness World for a few years now and I’ve been satisfied with the gym equipment. However I went in and brought a guest to pay for the drop in fee. We waited for around 5 minutes which I do NOT MIND AT ALL since they were helping someone. The problem was when I approached the girl at the desk when she stepped away for a second and asked her if she could help us. She said she would be with us in a minute when it turned into another 5 minutes and she stepped away to talk someone and they came to talk to the person ahead of us. At this point it had been more than 10 minutes and when she came back with a coworker to take over helping the client ahead of us. She made eye contact and stayed at the front chatting with her coworkers and didn’t even acknowledge us or the fact that we had been waiting for more than 10 minutes now and never even acknowledged us and kept chatting and laughing with her coworkers in front of us FULL WELL KNOWING we were waiting. I had to approach the gentleman for him to help me. That kind of treatment is honestly rude and disrespectful not to mention unprofessional.

Expérience fantastique: First time came to Vancouver here. I had a very great experience with coach Saeedeh. She made a very detailed introduction including having a body scan to know my current body status. Also we had five nice sessions together. She taught me how to train my lower body properly and correct my form when doing upper body workouts gently. I would definitely recommend her to my other friends that new to gym.

Expérience négative: The gym is fine for whatever you need equipment wise but…. Staff are HORRIBLE. I’m never one to complain But I’ve had several bad experiences with being here in terms of customer service. I had 2 “free” workout sessions where I ended up spending my only hour I had to workout in a sales pitch for sessions. Hidden fees are crippling as well for someone who is on a fixed budget. You’re better off going to your local community centre where you are giving back not just giving into corporate fitness greed.

Expérience fantastique: This review is solely for my personal trainer Jerson who has provided exceptional training session . As someone who was very lethargic and demotivated, he provided the motivation and push that i needed which helped me in becoming consistent . He makes sure that i am comfortable and is also flexible with the workouts . He answered all my queries and also gave valuable tips and tricks . Kudos to Jerson :)
Expérience négative: To say its a worst gym would be an understatement. And now I advise everyone who talks about fitness to stay super away from this gym. Its okay to spend some more money on nicer gyms then coming here and getting a headache.

Expérience fantastique: I have been coming to the gym 2/3 times a week for a few months now and my experience has been great. I have PT sessions with Gus and he is truly an amazing trainer! He’s extremely motivating and really great to work with. I’m seeing results that I never thought I would. The staff and manager are friendly and welcoming. Gym is clean and equipment is good.

I’d been a member here, the first time I started was back in 2022, all of the staff member’s attitude is just worst, it gets worse if you say no their pricey PT and other offers, they side eye you sometimes. Very unhygienic, crowded and honestly very depressing place. If you’re serious about joining a gym, never go here! Big No NO!

Expérience négative: This is biggest fraud business ever came across. Marine gateway location is the worst. Once you enroll with them, accept you don't own your money anymore. They won't refund u anything even u cancel on time and will fool u around as the manager and the assistant manager are just for name sake. According to them they don't hold any powers, plus they are not allowed to share their head office contact info. Just a wastage of time n money. Posted in public interest. Wish I could give a negative rating.

Expérience négative: This location is awful. The staff is not friendly at all and it gets so crowded recently. The stretching area is too small and the studio is always taken for a group workout (of like 3 ppl). The management is horrible and not supportive what so eveer. I book PT sessions here and my PT suddenly disappear without notification, the manager is not helping me to get another trainer and my money end up going to wasted cuz I have no trainer. Do not recommend
