Expérience positive: Because this is my home gym, I'll be gentle, lol. Great staff but I wish the women's section was bigger. I get that space is likely the issue, but compared to the Brampton location on Hurontario which has a HUGE women's section, this women's section can feel squeezy and crowded. If you aim to use the women's section at Victoria Terrace during 4 - 7 pm, be prepared to wait on machines, and space is very limited. There is hardly any room for floor stretching because the mats jut out from the wall impeding the walkway.

Expérience négative: Incredibly difficult to discontinue the membership! I think I atleast paid 1 year worth of membership fee without using the facility at all because I did not have time for completing the processes to end my membership. There is also no way to go back for a refund if you have not visited the place and yet got charged for months and months of membership. Lots of other fitness centers who don't make it diff to end your membership.

Expérience fantastique: My sister and I attend Zumba every Friday evening with Mike & Kim, it is our favourite class at GoodLife. There is such a strong Zumba community at this gym, and our workout is the highlight of our week! The front desk staff always welcoming us weekly. Joshua specifically, is always kind and attends to any of our concerns promptly and professionally. We love the positive vibe from everyone at this gym!

Its my mode of transport and I come to the gym pretty late and leave it in the side where no ones there. But the person at the front desk said I was not allowed. Not sure how it impacts anything at all when its not a disturbance to anyone.

They’ve not only causes my mother to cancel 10 years ago because they kept taking her money accidentally, they’re doing the same thing with me and my friend by not taking money from the right account and DESPITE us constantly calling them(countless hours on the phone, literally) over and over again, they reassure us that they will correctly withdrawal from the desired account, while failing again and again. I arrive at the gate time and time again to find out that the doors don’t open and the guy at the front desk keeps needing an explanation as to why our accounts are inactive. Im DONE!! I’d rather go to the competition and give up on these people that do not care about their jobs, and our business and if they do, they just aren’t adequate enough to help run the company. Your loss. It’s a shame. BUYER BEWARE!

Definitely not looking forward to future workouts and I am considering cancelling.

Expérience négative: When I first came to GoodLife, I met Paul and Alexa, who helped my wife and me start our fitness journey. They were great in helping us understand more about fitness and training, and they got us started with good trainers. Initially, the experience was good when we began last spring. However, since then, the overall experience at the gym has significantly degraded. The cleanliness of the club and training section is poor. My trainer often has to take time out of our workout to clean up messes left by other members or to find equipment that should be readily available. This is particularly frustrating as we are paying for both a gym membership and training fees. There is not enough equipment available in the training section. I don't want my trainer running around wasting time finding equipment, especially since the area is supposed to be reserved for training sessions. I've frequently seen people taking equipment from the area and not returning it. A particularly upsetting incident occurred two months ago when the front desk staff interrupted my workout session to take equipment that we were using for fitness classes. Given the amount we are paying for personal training sessions, it's unfortunate that we're not given priority. While I am thankful to my trainers, the overall experience at this club doesn't match the quality of other competing gyms or even other GoodLife locations in the area. It feels like the gym is being neglected, which is a shame because it still has potential.

If you don't build trust with your customers, may be you will win in the present but you will not go far. Make sure your personals act accordingly and do not force customer to pay for something which they did not understand or dis not get informed properly.

I looked everywhere but couldn’t find it, Annie was of the maintenance staffed went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me look for it. She came up with a plan to divide and conquer and she somehow found it, even with me looking through everything. Shoutout to Annie for being so amazing and again going waaay above and beyond.

Expérience négative: This gym is not what it used to be. It is more busy now, which is fine, but the equipments are in bad shape. Nobody clean up or wipe the machine after themselves, like after using a machine your hand smells like iron mixed with whatever... It smells horrid. Also some people who workout there does not wear deodorant and they have the audacity to wear no sleeves shirt. If you're one of those member who stink up the place get yourself a deodorant before stepping in the gym, it doesn't sit well with other members, it's sickening and disgusting smelling bad BO.

A special shout out to their Assistant General Manager, Saeid who signed me up. He took me on a tour and was very helpful explaining the different packages and answering all of my questions. Saeid also helped book my first classes to try. His warmth and friendliness instantly put me at ease. The staff and classes I have tried so far have been excellent.

Expérience fantastique: I've been going here for almost a year now. Clean gym, open 24/7, well-equipped, and the staff have been friendly any time I've talked to them. I won some free personal training sessions with Mason a bit ago, and in just a couple of sessions, he helped me assess a number of areas I was lacking in fundamentals that were holding me back from getting the most out of my workouts. I was surprised at what I'd missed working out by myself, and I really regretted that my financials didn't line up with being able to continue with personal training.

Expérience positive: I trained at this gym for several years until I eventually moved away. It gets pretty crowded during peak hours, but it's a decent gym with a good variety of machines.

Expérience négative: So they called me 3 times telling me to come to the front desk mid way of my workout routine saying he has a meeting in 5 mins and proceeded to spend 40-50 mins trying to convince me to join their personal training. and even called his manager to pressurise me saying they know more than physiotherapists and can fix my neck issue. after i declined the manager condescendingly shows me his arm and again acts like he knows a thing about the spine. You guys are not 1% as honest as i am so please dont try to prey on people who know more than you. as for the gym itself it is fine.

However today I signed back up with Joshua as he remembered me. He was very accommodating and I'm happy to be back to my gym. Love this place and the classes they offer. Expérience positive: Overall a great gym, very friendly staff and lots of equipment. I go to many other GoodLife locations, and while this one is one of the more convenient ones for me to go to, I’m always hesitant because of the terrible smell around the turf / squat rack area. I could never get a good workout with the equipment in that area because I get whiplash whenever I even come close. The stink hasn’t been this bad in the other GoodLife locations I’ve been to, so I’m not sure what’s cooking up in the air at this gym. If that area could be properly maintained with air fresheners, then it would be a much better experience.

Expérience positive: I love this location. it’s very large with friendly staff that always greet you, a variety of machines and it’s an overall well maintained gym. However, the area with the hip thrust machine and the roman chair beside the turf ALWAYS smells terrible. As soon as I walk by this area of the gym, I’m instantly met with the stench of armpit and BO. I’ve been going to this location since 2018 and it has always smelt like that. I don’t know why that specific area smells, but it’s a shame because I can never get a good glute workout in because that’s where all the machines I like to use are. If there could be something done about this, perhaps regularly air freshening, that would be great.

Can't thank her enough. She was my trainer before at Oshawa center., now she is working at Victoria terrace goodlife and I am driving one hour to see her. that says it all! ! Expérience fantastique: This is the first time I had PT sessions and the experience was very positive. Niro was my trainer and I was able to increase endurance and weight overtime. He was very detailed oriented and remembered the locations of joint pain and injuries. I also liked the fact that the trainers at this gym are realistic and chill. Some days can be grueling for those like me who doesn't exercise regularly, but thanks for making it bearable. Thanks, Niro and Kelly!! You make weightlifting a fun activity :D

Expérience négative: THIS IS A PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE. This gym has no cleaning staff and is a safety concern. Broken equipment along with equipment that has never been cleaned. Staff just point the finger but take no accountability or responsibility. Attached you will find pictures of broken equipment dirty equipment and also a few pictures of the sink in the men's room . I didn't go further into detail with my photos because of privacy but the filth continues throughout this establishment. Please see attached pictures.
