Expérience positive: Kids Academy, facilities and the instructors are great. It would be ideal to have the shower area to be cleaned more often as it can get disgusting, however, it is understandable due to the high volume of people that can be a bit more difficult. SPA is less desirable than what is advertised falls short of expectations (see the spa review for more details)

Expérience négative: What they will do, you will bring a friend, and they will say u used up ur 1 time pass for guests, tell u that u can get them a one month pass, so u pay for it on the spot, then they take ur friend into the back office, sign them up online without u present, then they will continue to take 226 dollars and change from your credit card every month without ur consent until you notice they've been doing that, only to tell u when u complain that they don't have a 1 month pass, and u signed them up online with ur credit card info and they can't do anything about it. Biggest scammers in the world, btw they also have roaches everywhere. Good luck dealing with these crooks.

Expérience positive: Many things to like. A few to hate, lol. In the pool, if you have kids younger than 12yo, every hour they force them to get out for 10 minutes. It's ridiculous and pointless. I'm the parent, you don't have to decide their breaks for me. The change rooms have nice amenities. Very well equipped. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair drier,lotion, hair spray, towels, cotton swabs, period products, a scale. The hair driers are terrible,though. They recently replaced them all, and I was very excited. But it turns out they are weaker than the old ones. Who tested and chose this?? I would bet it wasn't a person with long hair. Life café is nice. A bit overpriced, but the food is good. I wish there were more options, including less healthy ones. On summer, by the pool, I really wish I could buy ice cream. Traditional sugary ones. Hey, after a workout, I earned it! I also don't like that so many things you have to pay extra, and then sometimes I'm not sure what's included or not. Sure, we can ask or find out in app. The policies for visitors need improvements. I have elderly parents who live abroad and come visit once every couple of hours. They should be allowed more than 1 visit a month. Or something cheaper than $50 a day. My father is a gym rat, he would pay for a week membership, if we could have a fair price.

Expérience fantastique: I cannot say enough amazing things about Pedro and his classes at Lifetime! His charisma and energy are truly unmatched and the reason I’ve been committed to his Pilates class for almost two months straight without missing a session. Pedro’s knowledge of Pilates is incredible, he knows all the proper poses and always takes the time to correct form when needed, which I really appreciate. It shows how much he cares about his clients’ progress and safety. What sets Pedro apart is how much fun he makes every class. The hour flies by, and I always leave feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to take on the day. His dancing classes, in particular, are like no other, so full of energy and personality that they’re impossible not to enjoy! He’s the main reason I look forward to getting up every Saturday morning. Honestly, I just wish he could teach every weekday. Pedro you create a welcoming, motivating environment that keeps people coming back, and you deserves all the recognition for the dedication and positivity you brings to each session. Lifetime is so lucky to have him!!!!!!

Expérience fantastique: I'm very late with this review. I want to give a shout out to Patrick Hartunian. I participated at the Lifetime Missisauga Challenger Squash Tournament earlier this year in June. I was able to speak with Patrick throughout the tournament. Very welcoming guy who knows how to run a proper tournament. One of the best tournaments that I have been to since I started competing competitively at the beginning of 2022. I will be playing in the tournament coming up at Lifetime next week. I look forward to being back!!!!

Expérience fantastique: Jennifer Bell is a phenomenal trainer. She is highly knowledgeable, empathetic, encouraging, and knows how to motivate me to get the best out of me. She really listened to my goals and has gone above and beyond in helping me to achieve them. I've accomplished fitness goals that I didn't think were possible when I first started. I couldn't be happier with my results and experience working with Jen. I look forward to every workout and would highly recommend her.

Expérience fantastique: Couple things stand out for me that make this gym an excellent place. The staff are very respectful and the gym is well maintained and always a clean space. Love the fact that they have a huge gym floor with lots of different equipment for any type of training you want to do. To go above and beyond they have a basketball court, pickle ball court, soccer field, badminton, squash etc. My favourite thing though would have to be the pool area as they have an indoor section and an outdoor section which has many pools, hot tubs, sauna, steam room etc. It’s very relaxing to go there after a workout. Overall would highly recommend you check lifetime out if your looking for a high quality gym to go to.

Expérience négative: Very nice facility. If you’re paying a premium it better be. But the staff and sales staff are pretty rude. I can’t support negative attitude then I want to go be bettering myself. The sales staff judge me instantly and said I couldn’t afford this gym.

Expérience négative: I'm very upset with how management is treating us customers by turning off the water and showers at 12 without giving us any notice...it used to be 12:10 for a year now and we were content with that but now it's changed suddenly and it's very disrespectful as we pay the most expensive membership fee in Canada...as a long standing member I hope we can resolve these issues soon!

Expérience négative: The gym is getting really expensive and they don’t appreciate their members. The washroom has no body wash and they shut off the water while people are showering just before they close at 12AM. They should keep the water running until they finish showering!!!

Expérience négative: This gym is pretty garbage. It has some redeaming qualities, like the amount of classes and the outdoor pool (which is operated in the summer only, obviously). But then these good qualities are overshadowed by the clientelle. Many are nice, and I really enjoy being around them. But then you get the trashy ones, the ones that walk the grounds in their boxers and others that play music obnoxiously loud. The over-policing on silly things and the under-policing on the annoying things that actually bother people. The kids that are hired aren't paid enough and it really shows. I honestly feel bad for the workers, and I wish they gave raises to some of them. Some of the lifeguards are really nice and then others take the power-trip too far. I do understand, to a degree, why they refused outside food and drink. Partly because they need to make money and partly because there was that one family that brought catered shawarma platters and left a mess. But the cafes are way overpriced and are crappy. I myself and others are EXTREMELY respectful of the facility. They started searching people's bags which I REALLY DO NOT APPROVE OF! But they said if I don't let them look, then they won't give me access? Is that even lega? The facility itself gets very overcrowded and the maintenance of the ammenities are poor. I always notice mold growing in the showers and the changeroom facility has a prayer section, which take that as you will some people don't care others do. I've seen more testicles than I'd like to in the co-ed sauna and hot tub (refer to the under vs. over- policing). We've complained to the management in person to which we were recommended to email to rectify the problem. We did and we've been waiting months on a response. The cycling bikes are better than the ones available for the public, and I think allowing use of those would be beneficial for many, such as myself. Overall I feel bad for the staff at this place. They look pretty miserable and they act like it too. When they don't show up for work they shut the pool early and the policies don't really make that much sense. The clientelle can be hit or miss. Overall I go here because Movati and Lifetime charge a LITTLE bit less for way fewer facilities. I would really love a coworking space here as some people do "live" at the club. Gone are the days when people took pride in their work and cared. Edit: They increased the prices on members.

Expérience négative: Honestly Im very disappointed. After being a member in the first years when this location opened - it is no where near the same. Way to over capacity, weights are never to be found. Goodluck getting a machine between 3pm-8pm. Dirty stained towels, grout and silicone in the shower have mold, religious activities being partaken within the change room. This is beyond me and I have to pause my membership for the time being. It honestly quite ridiculous the Vaughn and Ajax location are much clearer and respectable. If it wasnt for the pool this gym should deserve a 0/5

Expérience fantastique: lara is an amazing pt! i started off with a pbf of 33% which quickly reduced to 27, as well as lost 4 lbs after only three weeks with her. i couldn’t have gotten such quick results without her guidance! she took the time to listen to and understand my goals which i really appreciated, and put together a program that fit my own schedule and needs. she really made me fall in love with the gym again now that i am finally seeing results and feeling stronger! thank you so much lara!!

Expérience négative: The indoor leisure pool is closed due to a broken pump. Members (as confirmed by front desk) are to be allowed to use the one outside due to the indoor closure. My husband was permitted to go through with my son. When I arrived 20 minutes later with my daughter I was told I wasn’t allowed out there and had to use my own guest pass to go outside to join my husband and son. Poor experience. Do better Jason. Will follow up with an email to corporate because I find this to be extremely discriminatory to allow my husband in and then to deny me the same access when we are all members. Disgusting.

When we have a pool concierge working, we do check in members to verify beach club access, along with checking for prohibited items. There are times prior to family swim times and some people may make it out to the pool deck that should not have access. Any member that does not have beach club access is able to use one complimentary visit. Expérience fantastique: I love this gym. It helped me so much at the beginning of my fitness journey when I didn’t know how to workout at all! I was shy of trainers at first so I started taking fitness classes and just copied instructors doing the workouts. Lifetime offers so many different group fitness classes and the instructors are very friendly and push you to do your best! One of the best coaches is Mariela! She practically teaches all kinds of classes and she lights up the class when she motivates us through her amazing musical playlists! Eventually when I became more confident in working out I started to branch outside of fitness classes and focus on my strength and conditioning. Lifetime offers those same class formats on the lifetime app! But it’s definitely more fun to workout as a group that motivates you and pushes you to do your best as a team. The coaches are great and hop into the workouts to make it fun! Thanks guys.

Expérience négative: Rating: 0 stars I recently had a disappointing experience at Lifetime Athletics Mississauga . My boyfriend and I broke up on August 14th, and as the primary account holder, I requested that our joint membership be split into two separate accounts. Despite being told there was a 30-day window for changes, the gym staff prioritized the credit card holder’s rights over mine, making me feel like I didn’t matter. Their approach seems to focus more on the credit card rather than treating all members equally, especially women. If you're a mom or going through a separation, be cautious—they may side with whoever pays, regardless of your rights as a member. I love the facility, but the way the front desk handled this situation was disappointing and left me feeling unwelcome. This place doesn’t prioritize health or family—just the credit card on file.

Expérience négative: After being a member for two years and consistently taking my three children. I’ve had my membership suspended for defending my 6 year old daughter who was abused and beaten up my a boy constantly. Being a mom of a 10,6,4 year old I’ve seen how the workers in the daycare handle situations hence why my daughter complained about being abused many times. Upon my frustration after having my daughter complain about the same boy hitting her in day care again, I had confirmed with the worker that the boy was present and in the day care at the time of the injury. Which was confirmed, after telling the daycare worker that the same boy keeps hurting my daughter and this isn’t the first time she complained. My exact words were please speak to the child and the parents about him keeping his hands to himself. A week after this incident happens, I get a email from a GM Erin telling me I had been aggressive and threatening, and that we need to speak as soon as possible. Before engaging in any conversation I had spoken to a corporate manager explaining my situation he assured me, that he would speak to Erin. After whatever conversation he had with Erin, I am now being told my daughter was never abused and she checked every camera to make sure my daughter was never abused. I have a ten year old that’s confirmed and told me numerous times that the same kid hits a lot of the children in the facility. Imagine telling a concerned parent that there child is lying and was never abused. Suspended for a month for asking a worker to rectify the abuse happening in their care. I’ve had my 1 year old in there care in previous years and had to remove my youngest because I would watch my daughter cry her eyes out while every worker walked by her and did nothing to reassure my daughter that I was coming back. I’ve never had any issue with any worker in that gym, I work out 4-5 times a week with my children and my children wouldn’t lie about someone hitting them. What’s even more despicable is I’m being denied entry into a gym for solely asking a worker to rectify the abuse. Any parent would be upset about a boy harming their daughter. How is it acceptable? I’m a healthcare worker, that relies on using the gym for a form of healing. To anyone reading the bad reviews please notice how every bad review has Erin mentioned. And I can say with my experience this person is not fit to run a gym when they have no form of empathy, especially to members paying for other multiple gym members. Many loyal members of 10+ years have left the gym solely based on the grounds that Erin has dealt with there situation irrationally. If she doesn’t like you, she will fabricate another story to try and make you look like the villain. In reality I’m a single mom working full time taking my children to a gym I thought they were safe in, and the moment there safety was endangered I end up being suspended and penalized for standing up for my child who was non verbal for 5 years. Whether it is a privilege to be a member or not, it’s not a privilege to have your child abused in your care. There are two sides to every story, and every story Erin seems to deal with always ends up being incorrect or fabricated in a way to make you look bad. Many members have left for this exact reason. 400 a month, and I’ve faced disrespect, false accusations, my children being abused.

Expérience négative: I always come in but my app doesnt work for some reason. They offered to help after my workout but everytime i dont find the person who tild me they could fix the problem. I also want to have the app so i can sign up for the classes. I came in around 10:30 pm on august 1st and there was literally no one. A girl named Nawal was very rude with me. She has a really bad attitude she was like you hold up the line i keep seeing you entering with the number you have to get the app. She ruined my night. I mean i dint mind if she tild me the same things with a nicer tone but shes very unfriendly. About a month ago i brought my brother that wanted to sign up but he literally changed his mind vecause if her attitude and the way she spoke to him. You should train her to have some manners we are paying a lot of money atleast we should get good attitude from the employees.

Expérience négative: I have been a member here since Jan 2013. In 2013 it was busy, which I didn’t mind because it was very clean. The equipment, the soccer court, Yoga room, change rooms, showers, all clean. I referred 10 members there, all who have now left the gym. All for the following reasons… The gym is now absolutely filthy. If you go during the busy times, you can’t find a sanitary wipe to wipe down the machines. All the wipes in the holder are empty. No one wipes down anything and you can see the grease stains from ppls heads on the mats and on the equipment. The change rooms are disgusting. The showers… have mold/green and brown residue in the corner of the showers. The shower glass is stained with soap scum since before COVID. The pool deck.. ppl spit on the pool deck. The outdoor pool is the only thing this gym has left but with the constant monthly price increases (my membership has increased over $80 a month in the 10+ years I was there), just don’t justify it for me. I thought I would miss the pool when I left and I don’t. All gym memberships have increased with inflation but this is just ridiculous. They even changed the shower soap from a decent brand to a brand that makes you feel like it doesn’t wash properly. I switched to Movati in mississauga for half the price. Yes, it’s half the gym, but the showers are clean and every time I’ve walked into the change room there is someone cleaning it. This is what I would have expected from lifetime. This is a short list, I haven’t named other items like, customer service, the same workout machines since 2013, simple appreciation for ‘long time members’… list goes on.

Expérience négative: Great gym, but come on, group classes monopolizing 10 squat racks everyday at 6pm where the racks are not even used is beyond me. This is literally when all of them must be available to everyone, since the gym gets very busy during rush hours. Having to wait 15mn for one of the few remaining racks to become available every time is not supposed to happen for a gym of this price, especially when they have so many rooms to host these group classes.

Expérience fantastique: The Lifetime Outdoor Cycling Team provide great cycling knowledge, safe and varied rides. Jim Gantley and Omar Jamal really care about the all the riders. Lifetime cycling has allowed me to grow and improve as a cyclist while meeting some great friends. Expérience négative: I cancelled my membership today after having been a loyal Lifetime member for 8 years: 2 years with the Sugar Land, Texas club and 6 years with the Mississauga club. What the other reviewer said is true: the managers and staff at this club do not care if you cancel your membership. My loyalty as a member does not matter to them at all. They seem happy to see me leave and so I left. No regrets. I paid $200 a month just to use the treadmill and weight machines. For many years I realized I could pay less to get the same elsewhere but I stayed and paid the exorbitant monthly fee due to my personal loyalty to Lifetime. Today, I brought a guest. Something I rarely do and my guest was not welcomed despite having driven from Toronto to be there. I asked the manager if he could provide an exception for my guest to use the gym for 30mins but was told no. My loyalty for all these years meant nothing. Disappointed. Lifetime lost a long time customer because they refused entry to a guest, who was going to use the gym for only 30 mins. Your lost!

Expérience négative: I’ve been a member of Lifetime since 2016 and was enjoying spending time a lot of time at this gym. It had a great environment and community. After my accident, I used this gym for my rehabilitation. I would come multiple times a day and work with amazing personal trainers like Sharlon and Sam. Everything changed when they got new management last year. They fired all the best personal trainers and the quality of the gym went down. It’s not the same fun environment as it used to be. I was spending a lot money on Pilates and personal training and have $1000 still in my account. I’m trying to pull out my money because I’m no longer happy with these services and for the last 6 months they have refused to do anything about it so my money is just sitting there. They also won’t let me use it for other services at the gym.

Expérience négative: 0 star from today Today I was talking to one of the managers of Lifetime in Mississauga. The specific thing is that they changed the time three times from January to June 2024, regarding how to allow customers to leave the building after closing. One of their employees told me that if you have an idea, you can talk to his manager, so I would like to give them a good suggestion: ask them to tell customers clearly: please develop a reasonable plan from the beginning. How to get customers in the gym to leave after 12 o'clock, the closing time at night. Don’t keep trying to change things so that customers can’t adapt. So: outside the gate at 12:36 in the evening, (I didn’t catch the manager’s name clearly). His name: Eric Muizlar (update by 2024 Aug 11th). I had a conversation with him and got to know this very young male manager. Unexpectedly, after I told him my suggestion, He told me clearly that he wanted me to cancel their membership. I asked him are you sure? He said: Yes, if you are unwilling to cancel, I may help you cancel your membership directly! At this moment, I think I understood. It turns out that this manager does not like lifetime customers very much. For this reason, he supports lifetime customers to automatically cancel their membership. He said: He has a large number of members and he will not care about any one of them, especially members like me. I have been in this fitness center for many, many years, and the annual fee in 2023 is more than $6,000. And I have always been very polite to their employees, and I greet their employees politely and with a smile every time. I also respect their employees and their work. Now I just want to communicate with their managers when I want to give some constructive suggestions. I didn't expect that they don't care about their customers at all. At this time, I suddenly realized that I was not a member of this big family. It suddenly dawned on me that the staff at Lifetime didn’t care at all. It wasn’t like they said we were part of the family, okay, I know, it’s time for me to start thinking about changing to a gym. If anyone has a better gym, can you recommend it to me? Thank you!

Expérience négative: The Day pass is not worth it anymore. They have basically doubled the price for the outdoor day passes this year - an extra $40. There is no mention of this on the website - just a surprise when you arrive. Not OK. Also - the whole place needs a technology upgrade - you can’t tap for payment - they manually type in the credit card number. Wrong! Even illegal I think - or at least not in compliance with privacy laws. There are other places in GTA for a similar relaxing day.

Expérience négative: Been with Lifetime for 5 years now and you can separate the club into three eras Pre covid - probably the best of three. Manageable demand leading to attention to cleanliness, less time to grab a piece of equipment or machinery, classes that attend to a mix of clientele whether by age or gender, rates that despite being higher than competition still can still be justified in terms of user experience as capacity was well managed with demand Covid - not much to say here as the club was managing this the best they can. They got the the cycling classes open and I loved those (Joe is great). Cleanliness went down and less options during this time but again understandable given the times. Post Covid - this is when things went downhill and quite quickly. Others have pointed the issues with hygiene and cleanliness so no need to repeat that but two things that caught my attention were a) the rapid changes on the new services and offerings that probably cost the club quite a bit and which I didn't see being translated to actual usage but which did translate to increased rates (twice) in the last two years. The second observation is b) what I think is mismanagement on the capacity/demand side leading to lower experience overall whether it's overcrowding in facilities, waiting times , staff capacity and again the issues on cleanliness. Couple that with increased rates and you see where this is going. In a world where you have competition you have to focus on how you want to be seen and it can't be both declining quality with higher prices and the price increases in the last two years are at this point unjustifiable for me so I'll be taking my business elsewhere but do wish the club and staff good luck moving ahead.

Expérience négative: It’s a shame. Lifetime changed its grand father pricing policy. All the while I paid suspension fees during Covid in lieu of being able to use the accumulated credits in the future only to learn lifetime sneaked and changed all grand fathered perks + increased monthly dues as well. While lifetime attempted to offset some costs, mgmt didn’t honour freezing prices and didn’t care for having members who were supposedly part of the founders club about a decade ago. Can’t really trust the club but Mississauga doesn’t have many like it either. I was interested in continuing membership but was told prices will be increasing (after they had already increased it once). At this point I discontinued! Club used to be a lot cleaner and worth every penny now it’s old and moldy in the showers yet price is going up and customer counts are quite high as well.

Anyone who wants to know the level of professionalism and how skilled are the instructors just visit their instagram. But unfortunately I can’t say the same about the management. The worst one you can find actually, they completely ruined what Lifetime Mississauga used to be . The best one of all lifetime in US/Canada. I’m a member of lifetime since 3 years now, and last week I enrolled and paid a camp for my 9 years old daughter. Lifetime offered for this day camp by age group so I booked for the age group 9-12 years old. When I came no kids of her age group booked, so the activity was supposed to be done was cancelled and so I get back home with my daughter and I asked for a refund. The kids academy manager Emily Rourke declined my request but things got interested when the GM, Erin Allen emailed me and asked to meet me. No it wasn’t to fix the situation it was to explain I made an infraction because she considered my language was offensive by saying she behaved like lifetime was dead broke as she fought for a $85 services I paid and she didn’t provide. So instead of fixing the problem and value my multiples memberships I have with Lifetime she choose to find a false reason to avoid the real topic. Jayzzzz look how she behave dead broke for a customer who spend several thousand of dollars every month in the club …..(Clearly a behaviour that completely ruined Lifetime reputation) and it’s about a $85 dollars services they get paid for and didn’t provide ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ Then she warned me she accepting only positive reviews and if I make any negative reviews she gonna terminate my membership!!!!! She just tried to control my freedom of speech which is regulated by the human’s right which is enforceable worldwide including Canada. So I have to cancelled my membership to a club I absolutely love to be able to speak up !!!! Like I said in my email this situation gonna be reported . Stay tuned for the next ….. Answer 16/06/2024 Dear Taylor, attached my email that your GM and yourself considered offensive. As you can see it was only the fact I request a refund for a services you didn't provide, the fact I warned you my intention to make reviews regarding the situation, you should have take other action than warned me to cancel my membership if I make this review which completely reflecting what really happened, you can keep your dictatorial behaviour with your employee but certainly not with the members, on top of this if you read all reviews you gonna see other members has experienced the same situation as me. Now all your member will be able to see what lifetime management qualified profane. Btw, you don't have to cancel my membership I had to cancel it to be able to speak up, you have now no leverage against me, and I won't stay silent. Specially during the tenure of our new General Manager (Erin) the place is way better than before and she is always there for all the concerns. The most terrific part is the classes that too with trainers like Happy, Brook, Sylvia, Tara, Marialla and Jenela. Patrick at his place is running the squash in an amazing manner and the pool is also a real pleasure. Our dynamic Nate is also there to make sure that everyone eats healthy and walks out with a smile. Last but not the least the best of the best our Yoga Guru Audrey. Expérience fantastique: My family and I have been Lifetime members since the beginning. One of the reasons why I have maintained my membership is for Joseph's spin class. Joseph carefully prepares and designs his classes to ensure you are continuously progressing. It's not your typical/average spin class where you go in an spin at high RPMs and sweat.. it's all about numbers and stats. It's measurable! which is important if you are looking for progress etc. He always comes prepared, he's respectful to all members in his class. He offers variety, each class is different, motivating music. I highly recommend his class. Lifetime is not your average gym, it's more like a club. Great community of people.

Expérience fantastique: Sylvia Atkinson is an absolutely blessed coach! Her passion and enthusiasm for lifting makes her small group training Alpha Strength classes the most exciting to be apart of! I was an absolute newbie to lifting when I started taking alpha strength classes in September, and her ground up approach to teaching made me feel very confident in trying out a new sport. Now that i’m slightly more experienced she still ups the anti to keep the class challenging for whatever level the athletes are at. Expérience fantastique: As a member of Lifetime since 2012, I have to say it has been a great club for so many reasons: the classes , the yoga, the pool and most recently the new massage chairs. I wanted to say thank you to Mehar and Chantal at the front desk for making my day every time I walk in. Also, a special mention to Audrey for her amazing yoga classes at 6:30 am! Her Vinyassa flow class is a special part of my day every Tuesday. Maria Galati’s Pilates reformer classes are also fantastic. The pickleball courts are also a bonus! Expérience fantastique: This gym is pricey, but some classes are fantastic. Mariela, in particular, whips my butt into shape. She is always able to modify moves to accommodate injuries . I've started bringing my teens and husband to her classes. It's honestly the best workout , fun and intense. You can tell she is passionate about fitness. To give you a balanced opinion the gym's drawbacks are It's 2 hr cancelation policy. So if you're hustling at work and get stuck in traffic, you can't give your spot up in advance without penalty (after 3 x) and the reverse is also true, classes might not be full but appear so on line. The billing and hold system are also less than forgiving. Overall, facilities are ample machines are never full & there's a variety of classes. Would recommend!

Expérience fantastique: We've been members at lifetime for a couple of years now. I only wish we had discovered it sooner. What a fantastic place for the whole family. I LOVE the fitness classes, especially Joseph's PWR cycle classes. I'd tried spinning countless times before, and it never took, but he's converted me to a true fan. His classes are fantastic, always different, challenging, and fun. So are Tara's, Mariella's, Pedro's and Jennifer's classes, to name some. The facilities are impressive, and the club is constantly adding equipment and enhancing their premises. Lastly, I'm super thankful for the team at the kids academy, my children love it there and always have a good time. Lifetime is our go-to daily, especially on dreary winter days. I highly recommend it and hope they maintain their high standards.

Expérience fantastique: I've had a very positive experience with this gym, especially with the studio and yoga classes. All the instructors have been wonderful but Audrey and Laura both bring a really kind energy and vibrant atmosphere to their yoga classes. Expérience fantastique: LT definitely has areas to work on as a club especially for the membership cost. There have been some toxic situations with instructors…. However if you go for yoga - Love love love both Suzie and Audrey as yoga instructors. Both give you the space to flow, connect and feel a part of a community. Susie has perfected her yoga instruction, timing and technique. I appreciate the pointers she gives and how she keeps the class light. Audrey keeps raising the bar in her classes by focusing on more complex poses. Expérience fantastique: I've been a member since 2017/2018. After attending a few classes, you soon get to know your favourite instructors! Their classes are always waitlisted. Mariela is my favourite for strength training and overall energy. She gives so much to each class. Her energy, her dance moves, her motivation, her proper form guidance/reminders, her challenging classes that push you to the limit, her music, and her overall personality is what makes her classes the best. During COVID when lockdowns were in place, I still sought her for workouts. She knows the members and makes a connection with everyone. She's a favourite of mine, among my top 3 favourites! Expérience fantastique: My family signed up with LifeTime gym in fall 2021. It's a big facility, and over time, I tried everything it has to offer. The best part of the experience for me are group classes. There were many amazing instructors over the years, some don't work at LifeTime anymore. I hope that the people whose classes I go to every week will keep teaching here: Mariela, Happy, Lisa for strength classes, and running club coach Lori. My daughter loves kids academy, she never wants to leave, that's how much she enjoys the experience. She goes to rock climbing and school break camps as well. I hope these experiences will continue to be offered to kids. LifeTime to us is not just about fitness, it's about the people. The energy and fun which instructors brings to our lives. Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: Love this facility and the amenities that are included. The classes are one of the best parts of this gym other than the saunas and pool patio. Mariela is an amazing and super outgoing group fitness trainer. She just brings out the vibes every time in the boxing and gtx classes. Expérience fantastique: I joined Lifetime back in October ‘23 after a friend of mine who has been a member for over a decade recommended me to this club when I was debating renewing at my last gym. I came and tried Sylvia’s Alpha Strength class (as it was as close to my last club as I could find) and immediately loved it, so much that I went ahead and ended my previous long-time membership at my last gym and joined LifeTime. 8 months in and I have found so much more from Lifetime beyond what I could have hoped for. Amazing classes, especially Alpha Strength with Sylvia and Happy, among others like Yoga, Pilates, Alpha Conditioning etc. and on days where I want to do my own self-directed workouts, the gym facilities are outstanding. The steam room, hot tub, saunas, pools are the cherry on top. As a mom, the options for my kids are endless. Lifetime is a great club with some pretty special coaches that keep me motivated, members I’ve become friends with and I’m so grateful to be able to take part in all of it.

Expérience fantastique: I have been a member at Lifetime for 12 years joining right after my daughter was born. Mariela's Barbell class was one of the first I ever participated in and I always loved her energy and her personall stories about her own journey. After Covid I was nervous getting back into the gym life and I decided to try her GTX class and was blown away by the workout and her energy. I love her music, energy and dedication to all of us that are regulars in her class. She greets so many members by name and has a way of making every member that she has worked with feel special and and appreciated. I am forever grateful for Mariela and the other instructors that have been instrumental in my health journey (especially this past year). She is a Lifetime treasure. P.S. Expérience négative: I was given the trial passes before Covid with the manager’s signature on the back, and being told that there is no explanation time on the pass. Now, the centre refuses to let us use this pass. Dear LifeTime, Very disappointed at your response. Can you stop finding all kind of excuses to make you look good? There were no miss communication AT ALL. I specifically asked the manager, he said NO EXPIRATION DATE. He signed the card at the back, and leave the expiration date blank for us. Your new one-year rule should only apply forward, not backward. Your funny notes below are jeopardizing your brand and reputation.

Expérience négative: As a loyal member of Lifetime Fitness for three years, it's disheartening to see the once reputable gym plummet into a state of neglect and disarray. The decline in standards is alarming; the gym now resembles more of a neglected, "ghetto" establishment rather than the upscale facility it once was. The staff's lack of concern for their job only exacerbates the issue, leaving members feeling undervalued and neglected. The state of the change rooms is appalling; they are perpetually dirty, and finding a towel is like searching for a needle in a haystack. It's simply unacceptable for a gym of this caliber to maintain such poor hygiene standards. Furthermore, the basketball court and soccer field are in dire need of maintenance. They are run down to the point where it's unsafe to even play on them; numerous injuries have occurred due to their neglected state. At this point, it feels like I'm paying $200+ for an expensive version of Planet Fitness. It's clear that the staff and owners are turning a blind eye to the deteriorating conditions, with no effort being made to improve the situation for paying members. It's a shame to see a once thriving gym fall so far from grace.

Expérience négative: I planned an evening workout with a friend of mine for the evening at Lifetime Mississauga, hoping to showcase the facilities and potentially introduce a new member to their clientele. However, the experience was marred by a complete lack of courtesy and flexibility from the front desk staff. Despite arriving within ample time, we were immediately denied a guest pass, with the host displaying a level of abruptness that was both unnecessary and embarrassing. It's disheartening that in an establishment purportedly catering to an elite clientele, such poor member service is not only tolerated but seemingly condoned. What's more concerning is the apparent lack of communication and understanding from the staff. A simple explanation as to the guest hours policy would have sufficed, rather than a blunt refusal that left me feeling embarrassed and undervalued as a member. For a gym that commands a hefty $175 + tax membership fee, one would expect a certain level of class and professionalism in their business management. Unfortunately, this experience has highlighted a glaring deficiency in both areas. It's a shame that such potential for excellence is overshadowed by a failure to uphold basic standards of courtesy and service. I hope that Lifetime takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to improve their customer experience, ensuring that future interactions are marked by understanding, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
