Expérience positive: Planet Fitness is always busy, which shows how popular it is, but it can sometimes make it challenging to find equipment during peak hours.

Expérience négative: always overcrowded,,,, their contact information is also useless… mobile number is not working …!!!!

Expérience négative: Would never recommend this place to anyone after my experience here this year. As a long time Planet Fitness member, this June, another member broke into my locker (they literally used that crazy tool to break my lock) and they stole my wallet while I was working out. Instead of being met with empathy, the staff proceeded to blame ME for leaving my wallet in a locked locker, and recommended I should leave it with them behind the front desk or in my car. I was in tears, not only did another member of their gym rob me, but the staff had no consideration and blamed me the entire time. They also refused to let me speak to management, refused to check the cameras to see what other member did this, and just overall did not handle this situation well at all. I went back a week later to cancel my membership, still did not let me speak to management but instead, they told me that multiple people within that week had wallets/car keys stolen from them (probably by the same person). They do not care for you at this gym and will do absolutely nothing to make it a safe environment for you, especially women. I have since tried to contact head office about this multiple times in the last 6 months with no response or call back. Yes, this can happen at any gym, but the staff should have been more attentive, empathetic, and should NEVER blame their customers for an issue that management refuses to look into and solve. It would’ve taken them no time to investigate this, but instead, it’s easier to blame the customer right? I’ve had all my friends and family members cancel their membership here since and will continue to urge everyone around me not to go here. This company sucks - I recommend literally going to any other gym in the area.

Expérience fantastique: I've been training at Plant fitness for the past over 3 years and it’s truly transformed my fitness journey! I use to come normally in the day but I come in the evening now and I want to say the gym customer service is very helpful and personable big shout out to Marius as well as the rest of the evening/ night staff.

They are still charging my card. 4 m9nth I have used their services and they wont stop charging my card.... they are theives. Save your self the time and mpney buy a set of dumbells.

Expérience négative: Such a bad customer service, the staff have lack of knowledge as I went to gym to cancel my membership I signed the agreement and that indian guy working at front said its been cancelled but after that again they charged me and said it was not cancelled after complaining they were making excuses. I will never recommend this gym specifically this location to anyone.

Expérience négative: I visited the Vodden location and wanted to do a quick less then a minute walk around to get a feel of the gym. The front desk person asked me to fill out something as per policy. I understand and though it may be safe, I don't feel comfortable giving any information out especially for a quick walk around. Cleanliness and air quality are important to me and that's really what I wanted to see. Extremely disappointing that you have to give your personal info for a quick walk around. Infact I would've been happy just walking in half way and back out with supervision. If I owned a business id be really angry that I lost a quality client due to somthing that's so trivial. It's not like it's the airport or some land border. Exceptions are always made.

Expérience fantastique: It's all about finding the right times to go, as with any gym. Because this place can get packed up. But it's because the staff are so helpful and friendly and the condition of thr gym is always well maintained. Been a member here for a while and don't plan on leaving or switching.

Expérience fantastique: Awesome Gym! The friendly employees, the equipment is always in great working conditions and the cleanliness is top notch. You see employees on a regular basis doing maintenance, disinfecting and cleaning the gym. Love there massage beds/ chairs , tanning beds and red light therapy options are even better then expected definitely a plus to have this option. If ever I've had an issue with anything the managers are on top of it and always find a way to help. Can't recommend this gym enough.

The management does not address this problem.I advise against coming to this gym. The manager is indifferent to these issues. A staff member came but didn't even check the camera footage. They seem unwilling to address any concerns.This is the worst gym I have experienced.

Expérience négative: Today, I got a survey email from planet fitness about how they are doing and I was rather harsh in the survey and I gave them a zero recommendation rating because of the fact that there are a lot of cardio machines which go unused everyday however there are only a few strength machines. But I received a call from the general manager of planet fitness Brampton within an hour which made me feel that my fitness takes its member feedback very seriously but I was not only disappointed but left shocked how the general manager talked to me she talked to me like I don't know that it is a fitness center and not a gym for bodybuilders and that is why they have a lot of cardio machines and not strengthening machine I understand that fact but I just want I told her that the reason why for me giving this a feedback is you can also observe that the cardio machines are never fully utilized and only used by a few members but almost all of them are waiting for this for their turn for the strength training machine and by giving a zero rating I was hoping that plan fitness will consider this feedback and will try to work on it however she started shouting on me like I'm an idiot but who doesn't know how things work I told her that if you have given me a call back then you take the guest feedback seriously but you don't know how to treat them respectfully and after you told me that you're not going to bring any any strengthening machines and it's going to be the way as it is you could have informed me that in a polite way and I would have understood and if given another chance to share anything I would have given a better because my fitness takes the member feedback seriously and at least replies them in a respectful manner but to its opposite I was shocked by the rude behavior of the general manager. If anyone other than the general manager is reading this review I just want to tell you that she's there to ruin your business.

Expérience positive: Pretty decent gym for beginners. It's surprisingly busy at night. Some employees are way better than others whether it's responsiveness or knowing the price difference for black card members but the overall experience isn't bad. The app can help you find better times since everyone has to check in. Remember you get what you pay for so this is a good gym for beginners but if you want to go beyond you'll eventually have to upgrade. The black card membership is worth the extra investment and is still cheaper than the average gym. The massage chair and bed are great after a workout.

Expérience fantastique: The manager and the staff over at the Brampton Vodden Planet Fitness location were very friendly and very helpful. What a refreshing feeling being that I've been in the gym industry for over 30 years. I had just received a kidney transplant and I haven't worked out in about three years now because I was on dialysis and I finally got my transplant.

Expérience fantastique: Clean gym, extrodinary staff (Vidya in particular helped me move gyms, understand tanning and is a solid wall to complain about my aches and pains to), and a comfortable enviroment to do what you need to do. Want to get as sweaty as possible? Probably someone who's already soaked. Worried your body is too big or too small? There's always someone more extreme than you. Does anyone care that you're there? Absolutely, but only in the best way possible. I love being back at the gym and I love the gym I go to. I've gone in anywhere from 3am to 8pm and I always have a great experience. The biggest hurdle is getting there, but Planet Fitness keeps you coming back!

Expérience négative: I went there today to cancel my membership, before my Joining date because I'm unable to cancel it using mobile applications. Lady and guy said although you are cancelling it before your billing date but you still be charged for next month as this is our policy written in our agreement. Even if it is there whats your duty, I told him you didn't explain me when I was there with you guys to registration for first time. He said you can read by yourself. My question is if I have to read then why you are there. To stay as billing machine. That's your duty to explain that's what you are getting pay for. No communication skills, zero customer service skills. I have less problem with the money they charged, I'm not even using it from past 3 months still paying for it. But the answer they gave me and not doing their duties properly is unacceptable. I will not come to this place again .

Expérience positive: Overall a nice location, very clean and organized. The free weight section is a bit on the smaller side, relative to the rest of the gym. Considering the amount of visitors here, they could benefit from having more sets of free weights and benches as I had a difficult time finding what I needed.

Expérience négative: Never wanted to post a review but an unhappy customer is always left with this last option. I joined the club in march. Went there 3 days a week stopped in the end of April due to health issues. They charged me annual fee in April. Annual means yearly. I called them i want to cancel the membership they said you need to walk-in . I went after 2 weeks as due to the sickness couldn't go there. When i went there they charged me the fee for june month i told them you can check history i never been since a month lady at the counter said still you need to pay the fees written in agreement. I paid and then i asked them to cancel they filled the form and freeze the cancellation but after few minutes lady said payment will go through from your account for the next month ( may)as well. Is it insane someone needs to pay for not using the service even if the person is sick. I asked help from the manager she said she is helpless i owe them for next month. Thats funny. On top of that i asked her if she could give me the number of some higher authority than her or head-office. She gave me the number of ABL financials located in Us. Which is funny because they said they cant do anything with that as they are the merchants to settle the transaction they don't do customer service. They said club manager can help. I explained them everything but no use as thats not their job. I don’t mind paying another 33.89$ as i have paid annual fee $55.48 ( should be for a year) thats not fair and another $33.89 gonna go through my account for no reason. Its really frustrating because it totally depends on the guest whether they want to use the club we should be bound for paying for not using it. Money is very hard to earn i could have given it to charity but not to this place. In nutshell, cancellation process costs a-lot and cumbersome too because staff is not cooperative.

Expérience positive: Cancel my membership of 7 years at this location over an argue with another member when the staff seem to favour them more Overall this location is good with equipment and lockers But after an argument that happen on may 29 it seem to be best options to leave and just find either another location or just find another gym Sucks that staff play favoritism instead of setting between both parties .. Staff allow when I mean allow like stood there and allow the other person to threaten me so why in my good sense continue to go a gym when someone can do it again ..

The staff are really friendly and cooperative, there’s this really nice staff that greets my brother and I every time we come to the gym and I really appreciate the smile she puts on her face even though when you’re working all day it can get pretty stressful and tiring. I’m pretty new to going to the gym but the gym culture here is pretty supportive and encouraging, everyone helps each other!

They stay on top of the cleanliness pretty well.. my only frustration which I’m sure is at many gyms is maybe try keeping free weights from being brought over to the smith machine. As said it does get crowded so waiting for a smith can already be pretty time consuming, having someone using the smith machine area for free weights or anything but what it’s intended for is extremely annoying and inconsiderate. Staff should advise the culprits to move to the intended free weight area

Expérience négative: The gym has very good hygiene rules, however many do not follow them, because they use machines and do not clean them after use. Sometimes they leave the machines sweaty and smelly. There are too many cardio machines and there are more missing linear leg press machine, hip thrust machine, steps and Olympic bars for free use and not in Smith, which are always busy, it is incredible that a gym chain as large as planet fitness lacks these items so essential in a gym. That disappointed us, we cannot do our routine well, due to the long waiting times to use machines and the lack of other equipment, therefore we will soon unsubscribe.

Expérience négative: This gym located near Walmart in Brampton appears spacious, yet it often feels overcrowded. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning exacerbates the odor from the large number of people. While it's promoted as a place without judgment, there should be some guidelines regarding attire, as some individuals wear clothing more appropriate for the beach rather than a gym setting. Implementing rules on attire, including restrictions on revealing tops and tight shorts, would enhance the environment. Additionally, it would be beneficial if individuals with strong body odors were encouraged to freshen up before training sessions, as it can be challenging to focus in such conditions. These are just my thoughts on how the gym experience could be improved.

Expérience négative: Just be mindful of fraudulent cancellation process. Not all Planet Fitness are like this, but this particular branch is a scam. The Brampton location was taking money out of my account for over a year and I didn't notice because it's such a small amount. I signed the cancellation agreement in person at 2 diffenent locations (my home branch and transferred brach Etobicoke) in 2022 and 2023. After confirming the cancellation, I deleted the app and went about my life. Feb 2024 I noticed that one location was still taking money out of my account. I called my transferred home branch (Etobicoke) and they informed me that the billing code matched the Brampton location because according to Etobicoke my memebership has been cancelled since 2022. I called the Brampton location about this discrepancy. They do not issue refunds, even though I signed the cancellation on the iPad in 2022 and 2023 in person. After speaking with them over the phone they agreed to finalize the cancellation in Feb 2024 with no refunds. Even though I want my money back, they have a no refund policy and we're unwilling to escalate my complaint to higher management. I believe that they intentionally do not process actual cancellations until you call them out on their own mistakes. It's quite ridiculous to be honest. Thank you to Vidhya for taking my concer seriously and providing me proof of cancellation today. I wish your coworkers and management team took these matters more seriously because it's fraudulent to not process cancellations after clients already signed off.

Expérience fantastique: My favourite/preferred location, staff is cheerful, friendly and courteous. They greet you with a big smile at the entrance. I come across Pourush and Haleigh every time I come in for a workout and they’re always so amazing. The gym is always clean and the environment is great!

Expérience fantastique: I will recommend this location to anyone who loves to get fit, in this location, you will find all kinds of machines and equipment you will need and the place is very clean and huge so that you won't feel crowded and close to one another. All the staff are very friendly and respectful, all male and staff are friendly but all the female staff is amazing esp. the manager of this location. I can do my cardio workout without worrying and sit, rest, and work out again. I'll be able to use all kinds of massage machines available without someone questioning me or criticizing me like in other locations where I came from. The atmosphere in the air you inhale is very clean.

Expérience positive: Totally love this place. I think this is the cleanest, massive and most affordable gym in Brampton but there are few issues I am experiencing lately. I see people talking on video call while cycling, putting their jackets on next machine (occupying 2 machines). I even see people taking videos of their friends exercising. If they are content creators, they better do their stuff when it is not busy. This is a bit disturbing.

Expérience fantastique: 100% honest review as someone who has used this gym for over a year straight everyday. One thing that stands out to me is the cleanliness of the location, it has to be the most well maintained gym I've been to. All the machines are of very high quality and I really enjoy the selection as well. My one and only problem with the gym is that most people that go to said gym have no idea what deodorant is. Other than that I recommend this gym for people of any level of working out experience. And maybe some more machines and less cardio would be nice.

Expérience fantastique: I like the friendly atmosphere and the facilities. What really bothers me are the people who are just sitting around on their phones. If you want to play on your phone, you'll have to play elsewhere. Recently, I heard someone say he was sitting on his device for 20 minutes, just sitting there, working on his phone. There should be signage indicating that exercise equipment is available and that phones should be used away from the equipment.

Expérience positive: Staff is great, the place seems very clean. The "spa" like amenities are great! And I can't wait to start working out. A close friend of mine works out here already and she says it's great, no complaints.

Expérience fantastique: When i first came with planet fitness as ive been with them since they oped about 8 plus years ago, i spoke to the manager who was amazing in helping me out... i had some serious tragedy happen to me and i wasnt sure how igoing to work out or what to do as it resulted innabdominal surgery she listen to my whole story and her and i cried about it and she was supportive, she cared about my well being she had me introduced to the trainer that was there so he could help me in any way to work past my emptions my feeling through work outs to get me back on track they were both amazing and never judged me at all... it made the world of difference for me and i am forever gratful.... this is why i choose planet fitness ..... everyone has a story!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been going to this gym for about 2 months now. And in my honest opinion, this is one of the best places to work out in a budget in GTA. It doesn’t boast of a swimming pool, or basketball court. But then the membership doesn’t cost you as much either. They’ve got tons of machines (majority of them newly installed) and decent enough space to workout in the free weight area. The gym is clean and well maintained. I guess your experience could wary depending on when you get your workout in. But the Planet Fitness App lets you check the crowd before you go, so that could help. I usually workout in the morning and am almost always greeted warmly by Sud. He’s helpful and respectful, as is every other staff member here, and it adds to the value PF brings to the table. I’m quite content with the gym and do look forward to more workouts.

Expérience fantastique: I have been a member of PF from last 2 years now. I recently moved to the city and joined this gym. There were few things before that they needed to work on like their equipment and machines but yesterday I went to gym and they got new machines and equipment I really love the environment now . Staff is AMAZING I know everyone there and they all are very kind and friendly . Yes it is crowded but for a reason ❤️❤️

Sometimes when it is over crowded have to wait for our turn but if you manage to go off peak hours it should be fine. Some people in the gym need to learn to clean equipment after each use not sure if management can improve this behaviour. Recommend this PF location.

Expérience négative: This place could easily win #1 place for the WORST GYM in brampton. Reception always lined up people trying to scan while the associates are on conversations elsewhere in the gym, leaving just one associate at the desk. People hogging the machines having loud conversations on speaker phone,l and complaning to associates does nothing, as they are minding their own business having conversations with others . Empty sanitizers and used paper towels everywhere. Need better management and staff to run this place.

Expérience positive: Been a black card member for many years and I’m still very happy with the service the plant fitness team gives me every time I come in

Expérience négative: The staff is constantly talking with people who are hogging up machines while not even using them. Why can’t they talk and let other people use the machines specially if their conversations are going to take 15+ minutes, keep in mind they are not using the machine at all, just chatting with the staff.

Expérience fantastique: Love this gym!! Has everything I need, 24 hours, great price and I can bring a friend anytime, every time. Staff is super friendly too! The massage bed, chair and total body are the cherry on top!

Expérience fantastique: Workout there everyday, clean gym with most equipment. Friendly staff but one person who really stands out is vidhya. She always engage caring and ask if needed any assistance with smile really great way to start the day. The whole team is awesome.

Expérience fantastique: Facility is Clean & Well Maintained The Men's Change Rooms always smells clean & hygienic and Staff do a good job keeping a regular schedule Some gym members can be rude and use bad language when talking to staff . They should be kicked the f out Staff responds professionally and remains calm & diffuse all situations. It is very Busy during hours of 5-10p Mon-Fri Best to avoid these hours Mon-Friday Don't come during these hours !!! Day & Night is much calmer & quieter haha More gym machines are free to use Some gym goers do not understand what deoderant is meant for Please don't come to the gym like you didnt shower for 2 days You smell like a babies diaper with Indian food inside of it Please Use cologne deoderant or take a damn shower Don't walk in the gym like you don't know what you smell like Its called Dove soap and body wash as a combo not on its on Gym people do not want to work out beside you Because you smell like you just woke up & didn't shower People mind. Even if nothing is said. People can smell your body odor from a mile away

Expérience positive: I’ve been going to this gym for around 4-5 years and I have seen the manger Macy quite a few times. I always just go about my business and get my workout in and leave. Always respecting the gym rules. Today the manager Macy (older lady with glasses that wears grey sweater most times) I was on the bench press doing my sets and taking like 1-2 min breaks in between. During those breaks I’ve always, I mean always went on my phone. Today she decided to swing a broom near my face to get my attention. I found that to be super disrespectful and not what I expect from this gym. She did that to tell me one to get off my phone because others are waiting. I’m not a machine I can’t rapid fire heavy sets. I need a rest period before I can go in for another set. I did call her out on it saying “I did not appreciate her actions” which she just said “ I was only trying to get your attention”. There was no apology at all. Most of the staff that work there are always kind and welcoming but her attitude whenever I see her is always serious and not welcoming. Another thing is I’ve always waited for the bench press for some times 15-20 mins. I’ve never complain because I understand I get what I pay for and I even let people work in if they ask. I have nothing against this gym and Macy just had to voice what my experience was like.

Expérience négative: Just edited my review to follow up with their reply.. Too crowdy, this place stinks and most of the machines don’t work .. climate very warm inside .. not a good place to go.. The meter on the app was showing 4 bars and the place was fully packed somehow can you please explain? And I told this place second time to fix their machines but they don’t care .. I appreciate your reply but you guys gotta do something

Expérience fantastique: It’s literally the best branch of planet fitness in the GTA area. Best staff, friendly, easy going, keeps the gym all clean and tidy and ensure the restrooms are all clean which is ofc very important. I just love everything about this PF branch. Thanks to the staff for making it such an experience.

Expérience négative: I am totally fed up of the manager that runs this place... it seems like she get things done at her own convenient time which is really so absurd. She instructed her team to shut of the water @ 5:30am on August 23, 2024 for whatever maintenance reason and they put up a sign saying " everything will be back in order that same very day ". Now, it's August 25, 2024, all showers are still being shut down which is not acceptable for someone like me that always needs to shower after a very intense workout because it's not everybody that loves to go back home or go to work in a sweaty body. FYI - if anyone out there is still debating on getting a gym membership at this very location... just so you know, Nothing really gets done on time in this place so, be prepared for the headache that comes with their membership. Trust me !
