Expérience fantastique: Tsquared Personal Training very good! I go there for personal training, and trainers make me feel like superman, not just tired bear! They know everything about fitness, even gravity training, like magic! I lift weights, sweat a lot, but also laugh a lot! They make hard work feel like fun game. Before, my back was sore all the time, but now? No more pain! My daily life is easier, especially when I carry groceries. I feel like champion! Every session, they help me with my plan and even food. They say, “No more cake!” but I eat little cake sometimes, yes? If you want to get strong and happy with personal training and gravity training, Tsquared is best place! Join them, and you will feel amazing, trust me!
Expérience fantastique: Today marks the day of my 1 year anniversary with T-Squared Personal Training. Troy is a fantastic and caring trainer. He put together a kick-ass program that works around my scoliosis. The results of training twice a week for the past year is that I've lost approx. 8 pounds and 7% of my body fat. My muscles are also more toned and my posture has improved tremendously. I would highly recommend Troy and T-Squared Personal Training if you wish to become stronger and more fit!

Expérience fantastique: Troy's Gravity class is an awesome complete body workout. He pushes you to breaking point (I think he's well-used to getting the stink-eye from his clients!) but the results are worth it! I've noticeably improved with each class and after on 6 weeks I can see and feel the results in my muscle tone and strength. Thank you Troy! :)
Expérience fantastique: I have been training with Troy for just about a year now and the changes I have made in my body over that year are really astonishing to me. I was always very tall and skinny growing up and I never seemed to be able to pack on any muscle even though I tried several different workout routines throughout the years. I always found myself getting bored and seeing little to no results so inevitably I would give up. I really like Troy because he keeps the workouts interesting and he is tough - he will whip you into shape with no mercy. But he's also a fun guy to train with and he can take a boat load of verbal abuse with a smile. His pricing is very fair as well. I go to group sessions of about 3-4 people for $30 a session which allows me to go twice a week. Most of the other trainers I have looked up in Vancouver are charging $70-90 per session. You still get a lot of personal attention in the group sessions. I couldn't be happier with my body these days. My posture is better, my muscles are fit and toned, I've cut away most of the annoying baby fat around my pectorals and abdomen, and I'm more confident in myself than I ever have been. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: Group gravity training is a safe yet very effective exercise program for people of all ages and shapes, including those with joint problems. It's also a lot of fun. The trainer, Troy, is a very knowledgeable and caring trainer and I've improved in strength and endurance in the 4 months that I've been training with him. I always look forward to my sessions.

Expérience fantastique: I have a training session with Troy Tyrell, T-Square personal training. I am kind of nervous because this is my very first personal training session in my whole life. I was not confident about my physical strength and I was worrying if I can make it through the session in one piece. My training is scheduled at Georgia Atheletic Club. It is surprisingly easy to get parking at that area. We start our session by taking measurements and setting training goals. Troy is very professional and answered all my questions along the process. He also set me up on an online tool to monitor my training process, We start with some cardio exercises and measure where my physical limit is. Then we get on to exercise like push ups and lunges. And it is then I realize I have done push ups and other exercise incorrectly my whole life. When I set up the appointment with Troy, I was wondering if the trainers have special techniques that help people build muscle fast. Now, I understand it is more important to get the basic right. The core has to be strong before your branches (the limbs) do. I feel really good after my session despite the fact that I am sweaty and tire. I feel I stand stronger and taller afterward. I look forward to have more training with Troy.

Expérience fantastique: I've never been big on hitting the gym; the idea of mundane, repetitive movements always lacked appeal. I tried T-Squared gravity training out on a whim and immediately started feeling more fit and energized throughout my day. The constant challenge and low-impact nature of the workout had me hooked. Within a couple weeks of consistent training (2 workouts/week @ 45 minutes), I noticed significant toning of my arms, shoulders, abs, gluts and legs. More importantly, I noticed enhanced strength while performing other physical activities that I regularly enjoy including rock climbing, hiking and road biking. Until recently, I have had to worry about rolling my weak ankles while engaging in my favorite activities. Without intentionally targeting that part of my body, I have reduced recurrent and annoying chronic injury. I have a new found appreciation for my body, more confidence in social interactions and I always look forward to the next work-out because it fits so perfectly into a daily routine. I recommend T-Squared Personal Training to everyone of any shape or size!

Expérience fantastique: Troy is super mean! In fact, I remind him how mean he is every few minutes in my sessions with him!! He will totally take pleasure in your misery under him! However, plot twist: in just a few months of giving Troy the stink eye and dirty looks (and a lot of blood, sweat and tears), he has helped me become MUCH stronger, gain better balance and feel better physically! I have never been someone who enjoys working out but Troy has been supportive on my journey. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is intimated by regular gyms. I have never been able to stick to a workout before because they were often not catered to my fitness level and I felt out of place. Troy creates a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, and gets to know you really well. He truly does personalize the whole workout for each of his clients and always challenges and pushes you. He keeps you motivated and accountable by penalising you for cancelling a workout less than 24 hours in advance so I can never chicken out or get lazy! I would never admit this to Troy face-to-face, but despite him being mean, I look forward to every workout, especially after a long day at work (Troy, don't get carried away, willing to bribe you to be 10% nicer to me lol). He leaves me feeling tired but also mentally refreshed. I always leave his classes feeling better about myself.

I have trained thousands of hours in different methods and the gravaton was definitely an effective 30 minutes. Arms are a bit stiff today. But, I have to admit that my knee pain is definitely less and I can see biceps appearing. How about that? --Doug Setter, former paratrooper, kickboxer, fitness trainer.

Expérience négative: Condescending, assumed I was going to pay for 10 sessions up front. Snorted and spit thru whole session because he ate gluten and just threw me on Pilates machines whole hour after asking that we do half hour in gym and half hour on machines. I’m not young and completely out of shape. I could hardly walk the next day. Have found a new trainer who is patient, kind and does a variety of exercises. Troy keeps on sending emails for a review and tells you where to leave your review. lol. Finally did it but on Google.
Be really nice if you were honest. #1 yes I thought you were buying when you told me that you were going to. #2 I apologized for my now diagnosed long haul covid condition #3 I made sure that your email was removed from my system in SEPTEMBER 2023!!! After your last email you send me saying that you are not leaving me a review. It's been almost a year since you first contacted me. #4 you were given the option as to the workout that I gave you. I went easy on you as you informed of injuries. The soreness you felt is known as DOMS! That's great you found someone. Thanks again for your understanding of my medical issues that I apologized for. Expérience fantastique: I have been attending Troys class since 2016. I recall my first class…I was nervous because I never used the weight resistance machine before. However, Troy guided me through the class with support, tips, and demonstrations; I was up to speed in no time. There is a maximum of 4 people per class so lots of attention to technique. The machine is adjustable on the spot, for lighter or more intense work. I frequently attend with my partner, and we do the same exercises but at our independent levels, so both get a maximum workout for our own strength. I can view Troys schedule through the app, I opt for reoccurring classes 2 times per week, I have my payment sent as auto-renew, and I simply get an email receipt for each renewal. The app is free and links directly to my work and personal calendar so attending class is an automatic thing, built into my work week. I can also use the app to add a spouse, which means my partner can easily attend using my passes without the need to purchase a package. There is a cancellation fee for same-day cancellations, I actually love this feature! After a hard day at work, I sometimes struggle with motivation, however, this keeps me accountable and I always leave the class feeling energized, and glad that I went. There is also full shower and pool/hot tube facilities.

The group classes give a great workout for everyone and can be tailored to anyone’s fitness level. That along with the personal training have put me in the best shape of my life since high school. Expérience fantastique: I love these classes! The gravity training is high intensity but low impact. I was suffering from a lower back injury and had trouble with that so many times when doing workouts alone. That haven't happened since I attend these workouts and my lower back and core are stronger now. It is also helping a lot with balance and flexibility, it's a full body workout. I've noticed a huge improvement in my ice skating practices and skiing as well. I feel stronger, balanced. Yesterday it was the first time in my life I could do 50 push ups. Thank you Troy for encouraging us to push or limits!

Expérience fantastique: I have been attending classes for years, now, off and on due to outside injury. A full body workout that sees results quickly. More importantly a trainer that works with you to understand how to correct poor posture and form. Who doesn’t want to build strength-muscle and at the same time have fun along the way! Highly recommend the experience, it’s addicting!!! Ps it’s a “love/hate” relationship and you never know what each session brings.. lol bet he takes chocolate bribes oh and he goes by the name gawd sometimes!

I made a reservation, got a confirmation email, went to the location and waited but the gym was closed, the trainer didn't show up and didn't respond to my calls and texts until it was past the time of my booking. Then he responded saying it's cancelled. Please donot waste your time and money on this!!!!
As the 4th apology, I'm sorry. I thought the cancelation went through in the late morning. I was unable to answer your phone calls and texts because was driving and dealing with family emergency, but that doesn't matter to you. $&it happens. Thanks for your understanding and the great review. :(
Expérience fantastique: I really enjoy my training sessions with Troy! The gravity trainer is great because it's something different that you won't find at just any regular gym. I felt myself getting stronger after just a few classes and there were noticeable improvements as I went. The sessions are challenging but fun and definitely effective!!

Expérience fantastique: I found Troy by googling and came across an article in Vancouver is Awesome that listed 11 different trainers in Vancouver. And after reading all the reviews of each I thought I’d give him a try since he had gravity machines. I started exactly 21 work out ago (I had the 1 free session then bought 10 sessions and another 10, and I just purchased another 10 to use). I try to attend Troy’s class twice a week. So it’s been roughly 2 months for me. Im really thrilled with my progress! Groceries are so much easier to carry, my posture has improved so much, I’ve had comments from family members and friends about how good I look or how strong I am. Even my cardio has improved which I did not expect. This is not a cheesy line… you really will see a big difference in a short amount of time! I think it’s a combination of Troy being a great trainer (he won the Georgia Straight’s 17th annual Best Trainer in Vancouver award) plus the machines he uses. Some people I’ve met in the classes are machines themselves. They use these machines with weights added and are so incredibly fit and buffed and in shape. Others are really new to working out. Troy sets the gravity machines so that the newer less fit people start on the lowest incline while the super fit gym buff people go more vertical. Everyone can do exactly the same exercises but it’s completely customized to their fitness level. It’s pretty neat! As Troy mentioned to me in class 1, we really do fit a lot more exercises in for the same amount of time on the gravity trainers compared to traditional weight training because we aren’t going from machine to machine or changing weight plates like in traditional gyms. He raises or lowers the gravity machines in like 2 seconds depending on which exercise we are doing without me even needing to get off. And I must admit that it’s pretty fun using these machines!

The gravity training method is low impact, high intensity and you get a full body workout every session. I would definitely recommend at least trying out a few sessions and see the results yourself.

Expérience fantastique: I cant recommend this trainer and this style of training more. I've noticed such a significant improvement in my athletic performance and shape physically. Troy is a great guy and a great trainer. You can tell that he understands the value of a happy client and he wants to see you get those results just as much as you do. Everybody should try this!

Expérience fantastique: My good friend introduced me to Troy's class. Troy tailors difficulties of the training according to my physical condition and he is aware of any previous injuries you had. I attend 5 people group class. It's always fun and challenging, and the environment is very welcomed to the new comers. Gravity training feels like nothing you have in the gym and I am surprised Troy still has tons of interesting excercises in his sleeves (so you won't get bored :p). I really enjoy each session!!!!

Expérience fantastique: I have been working out with Troy for over 9 years now (since June 2010). Troy is a great trainer who can get you results. I wanted to lose a beer gut & trim down & Troy helped me do just that, shedding 22 lbs in a few months (from 176 to 154). My strength greatly improved over time & for the past few years we started doing some power lifting training. 9 years later my weight has moved back up to 176 (a lot of added muscle) but I look a lot better & I am lifting more than I ever imagined I would. At the age of 56, I am now benching over 315 lbs, & have squatted 405. The bottom line is, if you're willing to put in the work, no matter what your fitness goal is, I would highly recommend calling Troy, you won't regret it.

Expérience fantastique: This workout is great! I have scoliosis and the low impact workout is great for me. It's super challenging but Troy is able to modify the workouts to fit your needs/injuries. I had no core or arm muscle before going to this and I see a visible difference in just 2 months! (Also there's access to a pool and hot tub which is a bonus!)

Expérience fantastique: The gravity training workout at T Squared has been amazing for me to get back into fitness since I was injured in a cycling accident. I can get a great calorie burn without aggravating my hip injury! Troy is helpful and the machine adjusts to your ability. There are so many exercises in a session, but you don't need to run around a gym or wait for a machine. The gravity machines are so versatile - it's far more efficient than traditional personal training. A bonus is using the pool and/or hot tub after class.

Expérience fantastique: My fiance and I are people who were not fond of exercise at all, but once we found Troy we've actually been looking forward to getting up and moving. Its greatly improved our lifestyles not only physically but mentally as well, Troy makes your sessions fun and feel like time flies by. He's also very considerate to any physical or health issues you may have before starting this regiment. I suffer from scoliosis and since beginning this workout, my posture has improved and I feel about 60% less pain that I used to. Expérience fantastique: I am an absolute fan of Troy's workouts. I have tried many different types of workout classes at different studios and through diff apps but none was as effective and efficient as Troy's power 1hr workout on the gravity machine. If you've been to one of those 20+ people classes, whether its yoga or a smaller fitness class, you will know that it is quite easy to slack off or not perform the positions correctly - which basically makes your workout ineffective if you are not engaging in the workout with the proper form. Also you are quite often left without guidance wondering wth you are doing or whether you are doing the workout correctly - or at all.. in Troy's class you will find none of those problems. In his small MAX 5 people class, you get one on one guidance and SOMETHING about using those gravity machines makes it almost impossible for you to not be doing the workouts correctly.. if you aren't..well then you might as well just fall off the machine... which almost guarantees that you are doing the workout in proper form engaging all the tiny muscles we typically want to engage including the abs/core area, shoulder/back muscles, legs and glutes! I've been getting all my friends to sign up and highly recommend this class. (JUST DONT TAKE UP MY SPOT). Hope this review helps turn ur hesitation into determination! :)

Expérience fantastique: I found Troy on ClassPass and this immediately became my favourite workout. I have some very difficult injuries but Troy always finds a way for me to modify to suit my needs. Now when I leave the gym I'm sore in a GOOD way!

Expérience fantastique: Absolutely love Troy's Gravity classes! After an ankle injury I was looking for low impact classes and I'm really glad I found Troy. If you are looking for a super challenging workout that is easy on the joints and big on results then check out a gravity class. I would also recommend it for anyone that enjoy yoga, SUP or rock climbing as Troy's workout combines balance moves and strength training. My favourite part is that every exercise engages your core. It's great to have a trainer that encourages you to keep pushing your limits throughout the class. Keep up the good work Troy!

Expérience fantastique: This is from Arline Trividic 3 years ago my daughter and I met Troy... that day for me was a fabulous life experience. It was my daughter who signed us up and I have to admit at 54 I wasn't very motivated to go. I was a couch potato, I was 30lbs overweight, and never had any energy. I was pretty unhappy with my body shape but also lacked the motivation to do anything about it. Expérience fantastique: My name is Marissa Deans and I cannot begin to thank TSquared for helping in my journey of healing; becoming free of chronic pain, strong, and physically independent. I’m a professional musician and educator. Almost six years ago, I just woke up physically broken and have never been the same since. I got to this place by living an unbalanced lifestyle and neglected to taking care of myself and my body. The doctors at first thought I was involved in a traumatic car accident. They were confused when I explained to them that I just woke up this way. My entire body turned into the shape of a corkscrew. The pain was unbearable!! It affected my entire life. The bonus is that I have rad looking body too. I took these classes because I wanted my physical independence, my identity, my life, and career back. Expérience fantastique: My personal trainer was Troy. I did 2 month and I saw a lot of changes entire of my body. I lost almost 10 lb and my fat rate went down from 24% to 11.7%. In addition my metabolic age was 43 at first but now I am in 12. I am really glad to meet Troy and hope to come here in next year again.
