Expérience négative: Stayed here for a Wedding on a Friday and Saturday night. The hotel itself was lovely but the customer service we received was horrid. The women on the front desk was nothing short of rude and uncalled for. We showed up prior to book in time as we were told if rooms were available we would be fine, as the wedding party. The lady who .. I won't day greeted us because she didn't.. was uncalled for. I tried to follow up with the hotel via email and messenger and haven't received any response and it's now been 3 weeks. I won't be back here again.

Expérience négative: We were received poorly by a rude member of the front desk staff on a Friday night. We weren't the only people in our party who were met with the cold shoulder and condescending remarks while checking in. Many people staying that weekend mentioned the bad attitude of this particular person. Short one word answers and a seeming disdain to requests are no way to greet your guests. We can't all have rainbow days, and I get that, but this woman wasn't even trying. Be staying at the Clarenville Inn next time.

Expérience positive: Went on a trip to Clarenville with the kids for 2 days and stayed here. The pool was open late and other then the public times we were allowed to use it anytime and it has a nice pool. Rooms are OK. But standard for what it is. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Also give good tips on places to go eat, shop etc. Close to all amenities such as restaurants, Tim's, Walmart, dollarama, gas stations. Great stay.

Expérience fantastique: We had a beautiful stay at the Wave. We booked two standard rooms. One room was inside the Hotel and the other was behind in two separate buildings. Both rooms were super clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable and comfy. They have a delicious Continental Breakfast with many options. Everything was perfect. A big shout out to Roland who greeted us with a friendly smile and who made us feel right at home. Thank you Pauline and Josephine for helping me book our rooms and answer all my questions. The location was perfect too. Can't wait to come back for another visit. And Thank you Darlene for all your hard work. Big Bonus is the pool , gym and sauna plus they have a laundry room for guests.

Expérience positive: We stayed one night recently while traveling through Newfoundland. We have 2 young kids and this was a great place to stay with them. They loved the pool, and I loved that there were life jackets and noodles available for them to use. There is also a small slide and swingset out back. Room was clean and decent, although one thing I didn't like was that the bathroom light was connected to a super loud bathroom fan; you couldn't turn the light on without the fan. Fine during the day, but not great when using the washroom in the night. They need to put a night light in the washrooms. Other than that though, I would stay here again.

Expérience fantastique: Always a pleasure seeing Roland behind the front desk. He has a great personality and is eager to help. I frequent here often for tanning and gym sessions, great service highly recommend. Friendly atmosphere for anyone looking to get into shape

Expérience fantastique: I travel this way a lot in the past and tbis is my frst time staying here. Fantastic location, and very quiet, with great amenities of a pool and gym. Very new facility, clean and comfortable. Staff are super friendly, and their free continental breakfast is very nice as well. I will stay here again.

I didn’t like that the room didn’t have a Microwave, but I wouldn’t call it a huge thumbs down, I managed . Room was spacious and met the requirements for my trip. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Clarenville!

Expérience positive: I don't know anything about the hotel. I'm just commenting on the gym. Good gym, lots of equipment, and clean, but I think they need to seriously consider turning down the music, or turning it off altogether. Most people listen to their own music on their phones, or like me, podcasts, but the overhead music is so loud I have to crank up my headphones just to overpower it. I could understand maybe late in the evening, but early in the morning it's a bit much. I like rock music, but I'm sure there's lots of people who aren't into that kind of music, and it's just the same old stuff you hear on k-rock all day anyway. It just seems odd to me that they force their customers to listen to rock music blaring in their ears while they try to exercise. Oh well, my two cents.

Expérience fantastique: During our two night stay at Wave Hotel this past weekend for the Wheels and Heels event, we enjoyed extremely clean, comfortable, spacious rooms with service second to none. We had Kim, Brett and Josephine cater to all our needs from extra glasses (thanks Brett) and towels, to a continental breakfast that went above and beyond what we would have imagined. Thanks for your friendly, helpful service and we’ll be sure to reserve our room early for the Wheels and Heels event next year

Expérience positive: Wave Hotel is a lovely place to stay while visiting Clarenville. Located close to all necessities and amenities, and we found a nice park with lots of flowers and (what looked like) a community garden! There's a swimming pool as well as a fitness center, and the room we had was clean, spacious, and comfortable- plus, good water pressure in the ensuite shower! I would definitely stay here again.

Expérience fantastique: Stayed for one night. I was specifically attracted to it so I could get a workout in so was hoping the gym was well equipped and I was unbelievably satisfied. The rooms are clean and nice, and the gym is hands down one of the best equipped gyms I've ever seen, and is absolutely suitable for serious bodybuilding workouts

Expérience négative: bad staff yelled at parents few times for trying to find there kids, can't go in the hallway and stand still to talk to anyone. will not be staying again, we were treated very poorly.

Expérience fantastique: We stayed in July, again in early September and will be booking again in October. First time we stayed it was just my wife and I, we booked the room with the Jacuzzi. Then we went back with our son and he loved the pool so much, we are going back for another family trip!! Free continental breakfast and staff are friendly! Good price for 2022! There not really anything bad I can say about it ! I wish they had a customer loyalty program ! Lol perfect for any night away !

Expérience positive: I did not go to the wave to for a room. Used the gym in the facility. The gym equipment is lackluster at best, and the facility is always so cold. It does, however, have most of the equipment that is required for a good workout. Dumbells definitely need work, they're a hazard and will get someone hurt.

Expérience positive: The place was clean and well maintained. The craftsmanship was very poor though, the floors were slanted and bumpy, tiles were crooked and not level. Luckily the shower slanted towards the drain.

The hotel itself is very peculiar as it seems to be on a slant. You notice it when you walk down the halls, the floors are slanted and uneven.
