Expérience fantastique: I grew up coming here. Hockey, swimming, referee, all of it. I love this place. And now my son is in love with it too. We come swimming and skating weekly. Staff are great for the most part. But the prices for swimming and skating are affordable and they have really great time slots for both. Especially for families.

Expérience fantastique: What an excellent facility! Enjoy watching my grandchildren play hockey for Woolwich and we really enjoy going to the public swim together. Guards and staff are very friendly and it was especially nice to have free public swims and skating over the Christmas Holidays. Keep up the great work!

Expérience positive: The areana is very nice. Was happy to see the concession open. However, the paying system should be able to show the customer the purchase price they are tapping their debit card for.

Expérience positive: I just completed 28 radiation treatments and am still recovering. My treatments were an hour away in Hamilton, and I live in Waterloo. Treatments were only 15 minutes long. Although the treatments are painless, the medication left me exhausted with no motivation. My childhood girlfriend who lives in Elmira suggested going to the Woolwich rec centre to take part in the public swimming. She will quite often attend the Wednesday aqua-fit classes and offered to stay for the public swim. My husband plays hockey Wednesday nights on the skating rink that is across the hall. My drivers license has been suspended due to seizures that I had prior to brain surgery to remove the part of a decade old tumour that decided to grow in a different direction ! Having my husband going to the same place around the same time makes it much easier for us.

Expérience positive: Visit was for the buttertart festival. Very happy to have been able to attend. It was a rainy weekend so all the booths were indoors. Hopefully it will be outdoors next time because it was a sauna indoors. Indoors was better than canceling the event

Expérience fantastique: We go here for kids swimming lessons and it's an awesome space. Clean, spacious, lots of activity options for kids year-round. There is a large rink used by the Sugar Kings as well as multiple pools, a walking track, fields, etc. Looking forward to seeing what else we can get our family into there!

Expérience fantastique: Attended a Kitchener vs Elmira hockey game. Seats were clean. Arena was cold for obvious reasons but appropriate clothing solved the chills. Great concession stand with fries but no gravy . Parking lot was full so we parked down the street a bit which was perfect as there was no wait to get out of parking lot at the end of the game.

Expérience fantastique: We go here for swimming lessons. The family change rooms are awesome. They are large and have lots of private change rooms that easily fit 3-4 people. The showers are nice and hot but take a long time to heat up. Sometimes the pool is warm and sometimes it's cold. The lifeguards and swimming instructors are really good. They are patient with our 4 year old.

Expérience fantastique: Great venue for watching hockey. The Snyder rink is home to the Jr B Elmira Sugar Kings, the McLeod rink is an auxiliary rink. The Snyder rink has a lot of great seating and great standing room. The McLeod rink is cold and seating is limited.

Expérience fantastique: This bright, multi-purpose facility easily accommodates swimmers, hockey players, or event attendees. The ice pad is surrounded by comfortable seats with great sight lines. Clearly the Architects took care to consider the expressed needs of the Elmira area and Woolwich Township.

Expérience positive: It has all the amenities in a multi use sports complex. It's clean and well lit. The rinks are comfortable for spectators.

Expérience fantastique: Got my soon in the toddler swimming classes and they were very fun. The instructor makes the class enjoyable and the bathrooms and changing areas are very clean. Update: have been coming here for years. We love the community center, we have done swimming classes, come for public skating and family/public swimming and always have fun. The pool is warm and my son loves the slide. There are life jackets to borrow and during public swimming there are tons of pool toys, and bubbles to play with
