Expérience négative: Not that it matters much now, since it's closing. But I got a membership a couple weeks ago, the day after I get the membership the gym closes for a few days for a power outage, then after that they announce they are closing that location and porting it to a fitforless, and that we can go to other good life locations in the city. Problem is all the other goodlifes are pretty far away, so I'll have to cancel the membership which I've heard with goodlife is as hard as canceling an xm membership. Anyways, really disappointed, also they advertise on the side of the building "24/7" but they are not open 24/7

Expérience négative: This gym is too small. Lighting is too dim. Staff doesnt do any cleaning whatsoever. Cleaning stations are always unavailable or staff is just lazy to change the paper towels or fill up the bottles. I only come here on weekends (or used to) and it gets busy sometimes and I see staff just standing around. Staff is extremely rude too. I’m glad this gym closing down due to staff’s incompetence and I sure hope fit 4 less don’t hire the same employees!

Expérience fantastique: I loved the creating hello and goodbye at this location. The showers are one of the cleanest I have seen for most the gyms I have worked out at lately. The facility is nicely lit, well organized and clean.

Expérience fantastique: The staff here are the best out of every location I've been to. They are always available and are always making sure the gym and change rooms are clean. I always see Brooklyn. She seems to always be busy doing something, but she always has time to welcome me and everyone else when they come in.

Expérience positive: I have been gong to this gym for a few months now after rejoining. I find the hours stuck on the weekend where most people would find time on a Saturday to go they close super early, says 24 hours but that's only 3 days a week now.

Expérience positive: I go to this gym regularly but last time I was there quite a few things were down for maintenance. All in all still worth it for the diverse sets of exercise equipment. Also, a sauna after a good workout is a good bonus.

Expérience fantastique: I am very impressed with the facillities at this Goodlife location. I have been to many of the Goodlife clubs across Canada and this location stands out amongst them all. Not only is the facillity kept clean and has exceptional equipment, but the customer service is also outstanding. The staff really make an effort to make this gym feel like home. Francois, Ivan, and Fatuum were several of the staff which I always see going above and beyond and they deserve recognition for their continous effort. I would highly recommend this gym if you are thinking about becoming a Goodlife member.

Expérience fantastique: have been a longtime member of GoodLife Fitness for many years. I have continued to be a member of this gym simply because I really like how clean the equipment and change rooms are. especially with COVID-19, I like how many cleaning stations there are. I wish there would be more classes though, especially BodyFlow. That one is my favourite. Throughout my time coming h ere, I have mostly had positive experience with the staff. It's nice that they greet you when you come in and when you leave compared to the YMCA. I also wanted to give a special thanks to my friend Kacie, who has always been pleasant and does her job with a smile! Even with a mask Lol She has helped me many times with all of my questions. It's people like Kacie who make coming to GoodLife a great place to workout. Thanks for all you guys do!!!!

Expérience négative: I have had my membership frozen by choice with 3 months left and just now decided to reactivate it, when called goodlife they advised that it has been active since Jan 1st and that an email was sent in December. The email that was on file is deactivated since I cancelled my Shaw, advised of it and said that they can tell I haven't scanned my card a single time for those 3 months and wondered if there is anything that can be done in this situation. Was told nothing they can do. Zero effort what's so ever on Goodlife's part especially when they can tell my card has not been scanned a single time for the last 3 months. Not the customer service you want. For something like re activating my account without my permission a phone call or a mailed letter should be required to make sure the recipient is aware. Total rip off from Goodlife.

Expérience négative: Hello guys today i am give my experience about this location I joined this gym on 2nd feb and one of member activated my membership and charged me 98.86 on my first payment and then told me we will take next payment 23 feb and then they took my 36.80 next payment on 16th feb and when I asked she told me you took a personal session which I didn’t ask for any personal session and member told it’s free and today i went to talk with them and they didn’t explain and the manager doesn’t know how to talk she was rude and have a bad attitude for your kind information gym is running because people are paying for it if you keep your behaviour like this then no one will come here .

Expérience négative: Been going to this location for a couple of years now... Dropped a pair of headphones on the ground within a minute of arriving and scanning my card... within another minute I realized I had dropped them before even jumping onto the machines. As I went back to the desk, I noticed a gentleman heading out in an urgent matter. I looked around for the pair but couldn't find anything. I approached the front desk and they stated nothing had been turned in, in the last few minutes. I looked around and could not find them (all within a few minute time span). I approached the desk again after my workout and again they confirmed nothing had been turned in. I left my phone number and name in case they did end up finding them. Now, onto the reason for the review. I just got off the phone a representative. After explaining the situation, I inquired whether we could look at the camera feed, as I had a sinking feeling, the gentleman who was leaving in a hurry had picked them up and left with them. I was hoping we could use 1 of the multiple cameras in the building to take a look at the feed assuming we could use the Timestamp of the person entering and leaving the building (all within an hour time??). At the point, the representative proceeded to give me multiple reasons why, "looking at the feed" may not been helpful. First it started with identifying the person as they "do not "keep records of timestamps after cards are scanned in. Then they explained the camera video was blurry and probably be hard to determine anything. Then they explained they had a lot to do and wouldn't be able to get to it asap, which is fine, but the fact it was brought up as a reason not to look at the camera...then they explained how the reporting system they have is not setup for this type of thing?!? Again, they listed several reasons why not to look at the camera...giving me the feeling they just did not want to deal with the situation, whether it was time consuming or not. If there was some sort of decent customer service, or even empathy about the situation, the "investigation" would have been started and played by ear...when in fact they gave me every reason they could not to help me... I understand it was my fault for dropping them, but I expected some sort of help or understanding, or at the very least to look in to it without giving me reason why this wouldn't work... Super disappointed Also, another thing Goodlife (or this particular location) does is turns off the TVs 15 minutes before closing...not a big deal but the few times they have done this, the representative wouldn't even acknowledge my presence, but simply turn off all the TVs (could have left mine on) but I understand they have closing duties, just a little weird to do this one duty when it would take the 30 seconds before leaving the building...but I disgress.

Expérience fantastique: Got a membership from Kasalyn, she was great! Super helpful and friendly. The meeting definitely wasn’t intimidating or pushy. We had good talks and she helped me figure out what I needed and could get out of goodlife. She even recommended the personal training which was suitable for my needs and goals. I would definitely recommend kasalyn if anyone wants to get a membership!

Expérience fantastique: I have been attending this gym since it opened. I love it!! It’s clean, well maintained and easy accessible. I am one of the early morning crew since inception. All the early morning staff from the beginning make it fill like home! The crew has done a great job in providing a safe place to work out during this difficult time. Expérience fantastique: I enjoy going to this gym. The equipment is nice staff is friendly. Only complaint I have is that the squat rack area doesn't have very good air circulation, I find it gets very hot in that area if its a hot day out. It is better in the other areas of the gym tho. This place doesn't seem to get too busy and everyone seems very respectful of the gym cleaning up the wieghts after themselves and not being loud. I also like that it is connected to superstore so you can grab some groceries after your workout.

Expérience négative: Not the place it used to be. I was a corporate member for 10 years and now that I’m retired they want to charge me a $99 new membership fee? I asked management for a one day pass so I could try working out with a mask and see what that was like but they refused that request. I wouldn’t waste my time or money on this organization. Check out the Reh-Fit centre for a much larger free weights area, plus so much more. First class organization and it’s only a few more $ a month. An absolutely wonderful place.

Expérience négative: Went to this location for 1 month but was charged on the account for 6 weeks. When you try to cancel online it is not enough to cancel within 72 hours of the payment date. So you can’t get your money back. On top of that, customer service was rude and condensing about refunding that money.

Expérience négative: Today I called to inquire if I can keep the corporate rate I used to have as I changed my job recently. The person who answered my inquiry advised me that it’s not possible and provided the regular rate for individual membership. After I honestly told her that I’d prefer anytime fitness if that’s the case as Anytime has better rate. She just hung up on me directly without any response even though I was very polite and thanked her for the help anyway. I’ve had a good impression about GoodLife grant park one and that’s why I called back to check. But she totally ruined the brand reputation by being so unprofessional and impolite.

It was 1:00 in the morning and I had bike in the back of my vehicle and I forgot my luck which was stopped me to do my workout!!! One of the employees '' Rafeal'' in front desk offered me to bearing the bike in while I am doing my workout. Now, not only I have great experience from this location also I have great memories from winnipeg in my first time visiting here. Thank you so much Rafeal you have a Great sense of humour

Expérience fantastique: First time inside and I was greeted right when I walked in by the very polite staff and then got the tour from Alyssa and she was amazing talked with me about my goals and everything I wanted to achieve and I am glad to say I'm now a new member thanks to her and I can't wait to get started. And if you’re hungry from the workout, it’s next to superstore- you can even hear the group exercise when you’re shopping there, Lol!

Expérience positive: This GoodLife gym is well equipped to suit the needs of most fitness enthusiasts. The free weights area is well organized with barbell plates stacked correctly with nothing left on the floor. Everything is neat, clean and tidy. The change and shower stalls are spotless. I’ve often found though empty soap dispensers in shower stalls. This can persist over many days in the same shower stall so it appears nobody is checking soap levels.
Expérience fantastique: This GoodLife is spacious and never too busy, you can always get on a machine. Recently they've added WiFi that is fast enough for streaming video which is a nice perk.

Music volume fluctuates, sometimes is too loud other times you can't hear it. Shower pressure isn't the best and it's a struggle to keep a constant temperature, but, all in all, best gym in the city.

If anything needed maintenance you wouldn't notice because it's taken care of so quickly. The showers are always hot and they offer towel service. The lockers are massive, I've shared one with 3 friends and we still had room (in the winter).
