Melissa is always so pleasant and cheerful. There is a friendly and family-oriented atmosphere and vibe throughout the building which is welcoming and incredible to be a part of. Expérience négative: I had a free orientation with a trainer named Melissa. She said I didn't even need a membership for this and never had me sign anything for being there which seemed sketchy. During our orientation she kept leaving me to attend to other members. I'm looking for a trainer somewhere that actually wants to help. Extremely unprofessional in every aspect.

Expérience négative: Well I was thinking of rejoining this gym however, I found out the same idiot still owns the place Perry…I left around 6 years ago after finding out he was using the fees they collect to buy new equipment and such and he was using it for himself and not putting it back into the gym for the members. I called him out right in the office and called him a few names. He doesn’t care about the people it’s just about the money. Good owners know a successful business is only successful if you treat your customers right. Not this guy piece of garbage. Remember me Perry?

Expérience négative: With this location on st.Anne’s. My partner and I tried to cancel over 20 months ago. I was able to cancel with a couple of arguments and trying to not get ignored. My partner had to leave the province and his appointment to cancel kept getting moved and he tried to contact them through emails and phone calls and still hasn’t been able to cancel. When my partner started emailing anytime fitness to at this branch they sent him to collections even though they kept taking money from his bank account. To this day he hasn’t been successful on cancelling his membership. If you’re looking for a gym I would avoid this headache. AWFUL

Expérience négative: I can’t get out of the contract they want a utility bull and i have moved. Ridiculous! I have proof of change of address and i want my contract cancelled. They need a utility bill with your name on it. They won’t pause the account like they said was possible when signing up. Noone returns your calls from the messages tou leave. Disgusting practices to milk your wallet! Its been month now just want this cancelled. They still charging after ive explained this in emails….. Update had to cancel through my bank and they are still charging me months after ininitially wrote this. They wont return calls or respond to emails. Still milking me after i moved to Ontario months ago. What a farce! Almost new years and they are atill chahibg me lol what a joke

The most cleanest gym I have ever been to and even cleaner than some other anytime fitness locations or other area gyms. Doesn't smell like fart or BO like the big box gyms, thank god. The Great members and staff make it a dream to come to and my second home!

I wanted to cancel my membership because I moved to another city and tried to called or emailed them but they never returning back even after 30 days passed. Really frustrated. MANAGEMENT IS WORST. We don't think you read your email correctly, but it has already been done but that you have outstanding dues/fees and your account cannot be cancelled completely until all are collected as your membership doesn't expire until August. You were provided many options, please review the emails that were sent to you previously. Although Anytime Fitness gyms provide members access 24/7, they do not have staff 24/7 nor on certain days. For hours please consult the website and reply to the emails provided so that there are no misunderstandings.

Perry made it impossible to cancel by not answering phone calls or emails. Even worse, he was never around during staffed hours, which made it impossible to speak with him in person. When I finally managed to get in touch with Perry, he forced me to make an appointment weeks later just so he could squeeze more money out of me. It was clear that he had no interest in helping me cancel my membership and was only concerned with making a profit. Overall, I would not recommend Anytime Fitness in St. Vital to anyone. The owner Perry is unprofessional and makes it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Expérience fantastique: This is the nicest gym i have ever been to. All new gym equipments and always clean and positive environment.
Expérience négative: pros : -Gym is clean and well maintained -Trainers are friendly Cons: -Gym is quite small and lacks equipment; they only have two power racks, a smith machine. You often have to wait to do squats and deadlifts. There’s no benchpress rack. One has to set it up with one of the power racks. To be honest, this wasn’t a big issue for me compared to the next one. -Horrible customer service!! Sign up is easy but membership cancellation is almost impossible. Email was the only way to contact them for any inquiries; I was never able to talk to a person when I called. Also, because they only respond once a day, the request was delayed and entire process was dragged on. Here is the timeline for my membership cancellation. On Jan 4th, 2023 I sent in email for cancellation request. On the 6th, they replied me with a link to book an appointment. They had very limited availability; the dates were blocked off for a week or two from the current date, and they were only available on three days a week 10-530 for an appointment where it takes less than 5minutes to just go in and sign. Jan 17th was my appointment - I filled out some paperwork and they took my key fob. However, they charged me THREE more full payments after that cancellation appointment (Jan 30th, Feb 13th, Feb 27th). This left me with payment of $70 for the gym which I could not even use anymore because they already took the key fob. I understand that they have a policy where if you cancel within 30 days of the next billing period, you get charged for the next month; which my understanding was two more bi-weekly payments not THREE. But they took out another payment without any notice or explanation. On Feb 28th, I emailed them requesting the explanation of the third charge. March 1st, They responded that they would contact the billing company and the St. Vital location to figure out what the charges were and get back to me. On the 2nd, I got an email saying "your membership has been completely cancelled with no further charges" with no explanation whatsoever nor any breakdown of the extra charge. I still don’t know why they had taken another 23 bucks from me. It's been a HUGE headache since the beginning of this year, and I'm still dealing with it in March. I regret choosing Anytime fitness over any other gyms which could be cheaper, bigger and/or easier to cancel. I just hope that other people do not have to go through hassle by reading this review. I wish they realize the importance of customer service when it comes to keeping their members.

Expérience négative: The gym itself is ok. Its smaller, sometimes hard to find dumbbells/machines to use. Its kept clean and looks good. Where this gym lacks is customer service. Who I believe to be the manager will do his least to help you. To cancel your membership (a process that takes 2mins) he makes you book an appointment weeks out. I cancelled on sept 29, wanting sept to be my last month but then I was charged 70 dollars for October even though I'm not allowed to use the gym any more!!! It is apparently within their policy if you cancel within 30 days of the next billing period you are charged for the next month. WHAT A JOKE. Its a scam and predatory on its customers. Also none of this was mentioned to me at the time of cancelling. Guy didn't even look up from his computer while we sat down in his office This is not the first time I've dealt with this issue at this gym either. I wouldn't recommend this gym unless you're really desperate, there are better options with better rates

Expérience fantastique: Favourite gym I've ever been to. It has all of the equipment you need(for the most part), and awesome staff. The place is always very well cleaned, never had an issue with the workout area or the change rooms/showers. I much prefer the vibe of a smaller tight knit gym over the big box gyms that you see all over, for me it's easier to put my head down and get to work without 1000 things going on around me. Anytime fits my preference perfectly. I'm very happy to have this gym close to home, keep up the great work team!

If you are searching for a gym that has a variety of machines and equipment that are always being upgraded look no further! Safety is always a high priority here with a sanitizer station at the door and always fresh, clean towels and sanitizing bottles available. The team at Anytime Fitness are second to none and are always available to lend a helping hand and provide assistance with a warm, friendly smile and a true interest in helping you with your personal fitness journey. If you are new to a gym environment or interested in personal training or perhaps a HIT class, then Melissa is the one to call!! Maybe you are searching for an overall mind and body workout? They have that covered too! David D. Is the on-site certified Yoga instructor who provides 4 classes a week and covers everything from Yin Yoga to a more intense Core Flow class and a Foundational yoga class where you can get back to the basics and practice your postures and best of all it is INCLUDED in your monthly membership! Expérience positive: The gym is always clean with an abundance of wipe clothes and spray bottles. There is a good variety of machines, free weights, squat racks, cardio equipment, and all is well maintained. The 24-hour swipe access is very convenient, along with access to Anytime locations in other cities while traveling. I've had several gym memberships over the years and Anytime is very good if you like a straight forward gym to go and lift at.

I signed a 6 month contract in March 2020, and guess what, I got charged this month July 2021 when I expressed I want to cancel. How does that make sense? Please do not go here, I have heard stories if you want to cancel you have to pay a 400$+ fee just to cancel when their membership is up. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS Edit/response Please let me know how I can yell over email, and please send me any correspondences where I swore, I really would like to see. I sent you an email May 11th with no response, and I sent on this morning, with no response but a response to my review. I signed a 6 month contract, explain why I am getting charged for more than 6 months when I clearly stated I want to cancel, I was never sent a request for an appointment or a cancellation form. Please send proof of all the emails you sent to me without a response. I can forward you all the email chains we have had, showing that you did not respond. Please show me your proof.
All memberships were extended by the same number of months that the business was closed. There were also 5 emails sent to you requesting you to make an appointment and to explain that you owed money, it was explained that you are still required to pay out the remainder of your contract and also for you to make an appointment to cancel (which you still have not). You were also provided with copies of your contract and also your payments to date (May 2021). Not sure why stating that you are not able to come into the gym means that you are not obligated to pay your contract obligations. Please contact the St. Vital gym and click on the link to cancel. When cancelling, you are required to complete the form and hand in the fob (or a fob fee will be charged). Emails were sent to you but were ignored until you were just billed. Definitely No Scam.

Expérience fantastique: I've been a member of this gym for a few years now and I have to say it's by far the cleanest gym I've ever been at, and the only one (out of Shapes, Y, U of M, Snap, etc.) where the owner is consistently in every single weekday. The result of this is that the place is always very clean as the staff is constantly going around wiping down stuff and doing regular bathroom cleanup. Unlike other gyms, it just seems like a place where the people working there actually care about the outcome and actually care about providing a good product to their paying customers. Most of these negative reviews are entirely baseless and you'll spot a common pattern. One of the rules the owners set for the duration of the pandemic (for the protection of staff and capacity limits) is that this gym does not accept walk-in cancellations. A lot of these negative reviews are people who really struggle with that and think they're above pandemic rules. One goes as far as trying to call Perry (the owner) out as being "creepy"? Really? Go yourself, check out the place, talk to the owner. Don't believe negative reviews from people who are trying to bad-review their way into a better deal (that never works so stop trying) or really sad people who struggle with basic gym rules and think they're above them.
Expérience fantastique: I have visited other Anytime Fitness locations and I would say that this location is by far the best one. The gym is ALWAYS kept clean. The towels that are used to wipe the equipments are always clean. The staff is always very helpful and kind. I highly recommend location!
Expérience négative: Avoid this location at all costs! Poor management by the owner. In the beginning, he promised that he will be easy to reach and talk to. Come COVID-19, he avoids questions/emails about refunds. Yes, he was charging members while his gym was closed, even though he initially said that members won’t be charged fees during lockdown. I initially contacted the corporate about his lack of professionalism and poor communication. I highlighted the fact that his Google Reviews are very poor, with 2.2 rating (during that time). How convenient that suddenly, a 5star review appears in the middle of multiple 1star reviews. I requested cancellation of membership but the owner insisted that I book an appointment even though the contract clearly states that “members can cancel membership at any time by providing a 30 day written notice of intent via email or written letter”. Sadly, the only way you can book an appointment with him is through an online website. As expected, there are very limited spots available for “cancellation appointments” but there are open spots every weekday for “new membership sign up appointments”. How biased. Like what the 5star review prior to this stated, the owner is present every weekday. So, how is he available for new members but not for existing ones.. When I finally came in to sign their “Membership Cancellation Questionnaire”, he retrieved my fob key even though I have one month left in the contract. On what grounds? But for my safety, I did not argue. Clear way of exploiting members. Place could also use some deep cleaning. Tiny fragments of toilet paper stay on the same spot of the bathroom floor for days. If you see a pattern in these reviews, then the problem is evident. Worst customer service. Zero accountability. Unless you want to be manipulated and lied to, don’t take a chance of joining this gym. ****EDIT: Very bold response from the owner. Highly speaks of himself. Willing to make up lies to cover up his incompetence. I did not at any point yell or threaten anyone. I am complaint with protocols wherever I go. I'm down to watch the camera footage. My appointment did not last more than five minutes. I simply signed the questionnaire and walked out. If there was anyone who did not follow the COVID protocols, it was the owner. I booked a 30 minute appointment for this. But the whole time I was in his office, he was “training” his staff member on how to do something on the facility’s iPad. No regards for my presence. He could have done this "training" as soon as I was done with the appointment or prior. Note that his office has limited space. Having a joint account, he stated that I was the only member allowed inside to maintain social distancing. Of course I agreed with this. But him and his staff were less than 1 ft apart. How absurd. I understand the contract and my duties to pay fees. The issue here, which I don't think they have proper comprehension of, is lack of professionalism and poor communication. We were charged while the gym was closed on April 2020 and November 2020. Even though they sent out an email on March 2020 reassuring us that they would NOT. Do not say you would do something and not do it. And then avoid emails about it. Again unprofessional and no communication (and now apparently spread of false information about members because they have zero accountability and they're called out publicly).
Jonna, let me address your specific issues including referencing the many emails that were sent to you directly or through our head office or billing company. When we were closed during the Covid government shutdown there was no billing happening which was all outlined in the many emails that were sent out, some that you opened. When you asked to cancel, as with all requests, there is a link emailed to make the appointment. It was also explained to do so right away as they were filling up fast. You were billed according to your contract whether or not you use the gym, we do not bill only on use. Regarding the Covid guidelines: due to the restrictions on occupancy we are only by appointment, either for cancellation or for workouts as was explained in detail and we do follow the rules due to limits on capacity. Yes you can cancel anytime but you (or any membership contract) are still obligated to pay any remaining dues/fees that are on your membership plus the early cancelation fee. Yes there are limited cancellation spots, which are to obtain all billing information and outline any issues with billing such as outstanding or delinquent dues/fees and you were informed in the many emails sent to you (with copies of your billing), which you haven't replied or have refused to address. Upon your cancellation, all billing was outlined and addressed including your outstanding dues/fees and that you had many months left on your contract. As was explained in detail to you by both our head office, billing and ourselves, that you are still responsible for those dues and if there was any deferral issued that they would still be due as it would have just extended your renewal end date on the contract. You were also asked to leave after threatening and yelling at our staff when you were not following/adhering to the Covid rules, which are very clearly displayed throughout the gym. New memberships are handled by any staff where cancellations cannot and are only handled by staff with clearance for personal security reasons. Regarding your fob hand in, this happens whenever someone cancels otherwise it would be charged. Our facility is cleaned regularly, not sure why you didn't bring any of these issues forward when you were a member, which would have addressed any of your current issues in a timely manner. We are sorry that our facility didn't work out for you or your boyfriend but remind you that your behaviour is unacceptable in any facility or business. Every circumstance is different from your own but we wish you well.

The owner - Perry is a man in his 60s who will constantly pop out of his office to offer unsolicited "form advice" to any younger women working out. He creates a very creepy and uncomfortable environment for everyone there. Secondly, the lack of communication and unprofessionalism is astounding. I had booked 2 separate appointments in July 2020 to cancel my membership. Both times I was met with great confrontation from Perry upon arriving to cancel my membership. The first time I arrived he claimed I had the incorrect paperwork and would need to reschedule my appointment. The second time I arrived with all the necessary documentation only to be met with his stating he was "too busy" to deal with my cancelation at the time. I am still battling with the owner to have my membership canceled after 8 months. Do not make the same mistake I did.

I just want to cancel my membership due to the pandemic and they want to charge me 50$ and make me go in, everything they do is automated email and I can’t get through to a person. AVOID.

Actually, if the billing company did charge you by mistake then it was refunded please check your banking statement. Also we don't have anyone with that name as an Anytime Fitness St. Vital member. Please contact your home gym as you have the incorrect Anytime Fitness location and we cannot verify any account information if you are a member of any other location. All meetings/workouts are by reservation/appointment only and when trying to look into your name/information there wasn't any appointment nor meeting made with that name to be able to present your billing information and to help you. Sorry that you didn't get a response but All Anytime Fitness locations are not staffed 24/7.

Now I can’t go in to cancel as they have closed again. My contract is expired but still paying every month... I guess they are getting there money now, I hope they go out of business when everything opens again as they are crooks. Even when going there place was always dirty. Hair in all the machines and just a un clean feeling. Not worth it. Can never get a hold of management or anyone. Terrible service.
Mitchel, you did have an appointment and came down to quit on March 17 at 3:30pm. We have not closed since the closures November 12, 2020 and were reopened February 15. There were no billing during the times that we were closed and all memberships were extended by the time we were shuttered as was explained in the emails. We even provided a free month to all members after being reopened in February (which is when billing should have restarted). We do not do our own billing, which is handled by the billing company and have franchise procedures to follow. Again, sorry you didn't agree with the procedures that we have to follow but we do appreciate your support as all businesses struggle to keep open under these uncertain and often stressful times.

Expérience négative: Let me echo other reviews. First and foremost, this establishment has issues with communication with its clients. Management makes certain claims over the phone and fails to follow through after those claims are challenged. The email address they provided isn’t necessarily monitored by management that is on site every day. I don’t know who I was talking to but they didn’t know anything about my situation. I went back and forth for over a month before I got in touch with the actual manager. All of this because I cancelled my refund and they decided to charge me for nearly 60 days of notice instead of 30 as per the contract. I had clarified this over the phone upon cancelling my contract but obviously this place only cares about taking every penny you have, not doing right by it’s clients. Finally a month and a half later, I had to call the location to confirm my refund had been processed, management had “no clue” what I was talking about, even though they have since emailed me from the address I was corresponding with. I thought yay! I’m finally done with this total BS. Wrong. Two weeks later, I still don’t have my money. I sent YET ANOTHER EMAIL. The reply I got was to contact ABC financial directly. I don’t know what they expect me to say since I am not a client of this bank. Also I didn’t make this mistake, anytime did so as far as I’m concerned it’s their responsibility to fix it. This whole situation has taken OVER 2 MONTHS. I’ve waited over a week for replies to emails. I’m incredibly disappointed by this terrible customer service and total lack of appreciation. 3 months ago, I had left on good terms and would have recommended this to everyone I knew. Now? Don’t give these guys a fricken cent. They’re only here to waste your time. Edit : Response to owners Let me clarify the lack of communication. It was over a week between replies from you and the only reason I got a reply is because I was sending two or three emails reminding you to reply after a week had already passed. The issue isn't that you aren't replying, (Which you didn't reply to all my messages, it's funny that you're even trying to make that claim) it's that your replies aren't timely and they don't provide consistent information. Secondly, I called Perry on October 8th about my refund. I was told my refund had been processed that morning but since ABC is an AMERICAN BANK, I wouldn't see the refund for up to 5 days. After waiting 13 days, I sent another email which only stated to call the phone number provided. I was NOT EXPLAINED that this wasn't a bank. Upon finding this information out myself, I called the institution since my email and phone message went unanswered yet again and I'm tired of dealing with this. Upon talking to the kind operator, I was told my refund was only requested on the 8th, that it was finally approved and processed today. I now have to wait ANOTHER 8-10 business days for my money. Hopefully, I'll get it by Christmas. Let me reiterate that this has taken 2 months to perhaps resolve. That's the biggest issue.

Expérience positive: Gym is always very clean. I've never spoken to a staff member in the 4 months I've been going to this location. So can't rate the friendliness. The other anytime gyms I went to always greet me by name when I came in. (Selkirk, Riverbend Main St) Equipment is very well maintained. The extra room for classes/HIIT/stretching/calisthenics is quite small. I'd like if they added a heavy bag somewhere, but I don't know where they could fit one. Very convenient location, but parking can occasionally be a challenge at peak time. 2 barbell cages is better than the usual one in other anytime gyms. Would be nice to have a third instead of waiting at peak time to do squats/deads. Again not sure where they could fit it. Love the electronic rowing machine for warmups. Considering asking for personal training. 4/5 for what they have to work with. Nice gym to get in, power through, get out. Also right along my running path to work, so spring/summer is going to work out perfectly for me.

I used to strategically place a tiny piece of tissue paper in the change room corner to see if it was there when I returned. Come back a week later and it hasn’t moved. Disgusting.
Expérience négative: Go somewhere else!!!!!!! Honest review from a long-time member. I was a member of this gym since they opened a few years ago. When it opened, it was all new and well taken care of. Since that time, the owner has started to cut corners and infrequently cleans the gym. The bathrooms are infrequently cleaned and dirty as well. They are now having to try and clean everything due to COVID, but before that, they did not. Since the gym occupancy due to COVID is low, there are even fewer spots to be able to workout. The workouts spaces are tiny and cramped, and get quite congested when the gym is busy. There are not enough benches or space to use them, and some of the equipment is very cheap, and dated. You need a key fob to get in the gym, as it is not staffed most of the time. Many times you show up and the fobs aren't working and members are told not to let you in, so you can't work out. I echo the last several reviews in that the worst part of this gym experience is in trying to communicate with the owners. I tried on numerous occasions to cancel my membership, and did not get a response, or was directed incorrectly. Trying to deal with them for a membership cancellation is a major hassle, and they are very unprofessional. They won't provide the info you supposedly require, and have now tried to send members to collections, which is crazy since they could have just reached out to get the issue solved. I would stay away from this place altogether, as there are many more options in the area, like Orange Theory, and there are 2 new Goodlife gyms opening soon. I became a member at Goodlife, and it is a way better experience you can see what a real gym is like. Don't waste your money on this place.
Sorry that you are having issues but as far as correspondence regarding your membership, as explained directly with you, ABC Financial handles all billing and they have tried on many occasions to contact you regarding your overdue payments and prevent further collections, which they now sent to collections to get resolved, your last visit was in March 15. As far as the limits in the gym, yes they have been cut back in order to comply with the public health orders to control the congestion and help maintain social distancing guidelines. We are not a big box gym for sure with our limited square footage but we do offer more personal workout spaces without having people judge or pressure you to move or often horde equipment, we encourage the sharing of the spaces/equipment that is available for all ages such as our 87 year old who also uses the same equipment and space. Fobs and reservations are necessary with us and other gyms to both control the flow and guarantee that those who Have one are allowed into the private space to provide a safe exercise environment without random people - as you are aware allowing people into the gym is not allowed and faces a $250 charge for the violation. As explained directly, we do not keep any personal information, financial or contracts onsite for security reasons. Cancellations have to also have guidelines and protocols to follow, similarly to other gyms and are often not agreed to. We are not staffed 24/7 but we are open 24/7 anytime which is why the fob is necessary. Our equipment brand is top-of-the-line Precor, which you will find in many high-end facilities and gyms around the world. Not clear as to what you meant by poor customer service. It was explained in detail to you that upon completion of the Cancellation Procedures that you would be responsible for any and all dues/fees for 30 days after. Although you don't agree, those are the procedures that we follow as do other gyms. You had cancelled June 24, 2020 and your billing was June 22, 2020 and any issue that you had with ABC Financial was addressed, we even had placed your membership on hold and pro-rated your March payment. Membership is signed and closed, the staff explicitly asked access token as i am closing the membership, i shouldn't be accessing the gym anymore however management want to charge one more month in the name of "due/fees" even when i am not using the gym. We have been open since the Government of Manitoba allowed all gyms to open with restrictions for entry, cleaning and a reservation system... all of which we are fully compliant with! So Yes all members have access u fee the present rules to follow. 2. During the Covid closure by the Government we were NOT accessed due to the Complete Closure. You do have the option to place it on hold (without any fees) with limits on the time. 3. Don’t understand that there was any behaviour issues, especially you reserved your time slot, came down, was greeted at the door to determine the nature of your visit as we presently do not take walk-ins nor any Passes. Then was escorted to the office to complete the form once you followed the Covid protocols, allowing members in first to minimize unnecessary contact. 4. ALL members are to use the Gym Reservation System in order to reserve their spot due to the capacity limits. Our staff is on hand to ensure that all protocols are followed in order to ensure the overall safety of members in the gym. 5. Yes that is the procedure to follow as it is your 30-day notification once we were reopen. Just to be clear memberships were placed on hold without any charges during the Government imposed shut down, once open, June 1, 2020, members had a pro-rated charge for their reopened membership once dues were restarted. All of which is very common at other gyms as well. Protocols imposed are strict and not very popular with some people. In order to ensure full compliance with these Guidelines, we have increased our cleaning protocol, controlled access to the gym with limits on capacity, removed access to the showers/water fountain, quarantined off some equipment in order to follow the 2m/6.5' recommendations, implemented a Gym Reservation System, all members are to spray/disinfect machines Before AND After each use before moving onto another machine, gone to a Full Appointment Only system, have limited hours of operation and have staff available during the limited open access hours until we are allowed to expand upon or move to a full 24/7 facility under the guidelines imposed. Again, thank you for your feedback and sorry that you do not agree with the procedures that we have to follow and suggest that you can definitely voice your concern or disgust in them to both the Federal and Provincial Governments. But at Anytime Fitness St. Vital, we do follow them completely and will not take risks with the overall safety and well being of our membership at our Anytime Fitness St. Vital facility. Other gyms may have a different view on both overall safety or guidelines or interpret procedures differently but we at this location are minimizing the health risks for our members. Expérience négative: I am already a member at shapes but this just opened near my house so I thought of switching my membership to anytime fitness. I went to the gym to take membership and on the entrance they want me to swipe the fob. I don’t know how Can a person get in if they want to sign up for a membership. Also staff inside was very rude they didn’t even came to ask if I need help they were just waving at me and telling me to go. Now I think it was a bad idea to go here. Shapes is far better.
We don’t know when you dropped by but the doors are always locked for security reasons and the security of our 24/7 members. We are closed for the holidays as indicated by the signs on the door... As indicated by your timeframe., we did not have staff there to let you in. We will be back in the office Friday and Saturday. When dropping by you have to either make an appointment or knock on the door during posted staffed hours so that one of the staff will help you. Sorry that you had a bad experience.

As with all membership contracts, the terms are clearly outlined in the contract that you signed before any money is paid along with a copy of your signed copy and an explanation of the procedures. In your specific case, you were informed on the cancellation procedures and unfortunately they do not agree with your situation when requesting information. As far as rude and unhelpful, we are sorry that you believe that you were treated poorly but we have to follow procedures. We have never spoken to nor treated anyone wrongfully by saying ‘too bad’ or ‘there’s a loophole...’. We have previously emailed you a copy of the form and your signed contract on Dec 5 and still await your response. To date still no response other than this one.

Danielle, Sorry for your cancelling issues. Your email stated that you 'mailed' it, but to date we have yet to receive anything to confirm this. As was explained that in order to cancel, we require both the fob and for you to fill out a cancellation form... that being said, we ARE staffed 8:30am-6:30pm Mon-Fri or 9:00am-4:00pm Saturday for you to come down to cancel. Please drop by the office and we can take care of these issues. The unfortunate part of the reviews that indicate issues is that they rarely get removed/updated or even summarized from those leaving them.

It has everything you need and if you ever had any questions on your body positioning or an exercise there are always staff around. I love the second room they have, I can get everything I need to get done in there. Isn't overly crowded. Always clean. Tons of spin bikes for cardio.
