Expérience négative: I was really, really trying to keep an open mind. Just visited this location earlier after working out at LifeTime for 4+ years to sign up for a 3-day trial to see if making the switch would be worth it (for the better price). The difference in atmosphere and quality of equipment was to be expected, but the service was severely disappointing. Anthony and Katelyn at the front (who i briefly spoke to) were great, but Brittany seemed uninterested in servicing me and more concerned with making a sale from the start. Nothing about our time together felt genuine. While she was showing me around, she seemed kind of snarky after she asked me if LifeTime had some of the same machines (they do) and said “ours are better” (which is a false remark, depending on what you’re looking for. LT’s machines have tighter settings and fit my body better, and the *same* ones at GL are noticeably creaky/older and are way too big for me. And while I’m small, I’m definitely not *that* small— yet the machines are still too loose/not close enough on the lowest settings). On top of already being pushy about getting to commit to a full-on membership instead of the trial or to sign up for classes, she also deliberately lied to me After my workout I asked if I could use the rest of my 3-day trial at another location and she firmly said no and that it would only be valid to use at the Taunton location. Yeah thank god I’m not naive I felt like something was off when she told me this and when I got in my car immediately called the Rossland location to confirm. An associate there pulled up my account from her end and said I could actually use the rest of my 3-day pass at ANY location across Canada. So it was clear that Brittany was trying to keep me as a client at her location (which I can understand, because that’s her job), but to straight up give me the wrong information in an effort to do so is WILD. You shouldn’t have to trick people in order to make them stay. Considering service alone — amongst many other things— LifeTime wins tenfold. The Rossland location might see me but I definitely will not be back to this location probably ever

Expérience négative: Only come here when there is NO other gym open. It stinks. I’ve come here 5 times on a Saturday because no other gym is open in this area at that time. Each time, Zero hygiene in this gym. I don’t know who these people are ew.

Expérience négative: I purchased personal training program and had multiple attempts to resolve my issues in every level I can think of. There isn't a standard policy they follow. Initially, the trainer would cancel the scheduled sessions with a vm 2 days before. I contacted them to restart and thought all was resolved and I was informed I'll get my sessions back. Then again, I'm in the same loop. There were no reminder emails sent for a session which I didn't book and its considered no show. On top of that their system deduts sessions (2 of my paid sessions are showing as used). I tried many times in various ways to resolve again but noone even listens your complain and treat you like you are trying to get free bees. No professionalism and very defensive customer service. If you are planning to purchase personal training sessions, please look elsewhere. This isn't worth your time and unnecessary stress dealing with inconsistent process and most of the trainers only care about finishing the session (not really there to help you reach your goals). I'm leaving one star only for their group programs which I find very helpful and efficient. The gym itself is also not bad but customer service and staff are the worst here compared to other locations (I have been to 4 other locations). I'm tired of fighting and don't really have much energy to go back and forth again on getting the services I paid for. Please think before purchasing personal training sessions here.

Expérience fantastique: Great staff and the gym is well maintained. My biggest upset is the schedule. Tuesday spin soca class is always full. Within 1min of it going live to book on Saturday it is full. You NEED to have a second class with Ernie. She is ONE of the best I've spin with. Hope you will consider having a second class.

I enter into the gym, scan my barcode pass and wait for 5 to "even most times" 10 minutes, to give towels. Eventually he comes and ask phone number to identify if I pay the towel service or not. Very slow and boring customer service. I wish, I could help you to improve and retrain your customer services. It's happening for me anytime I go to this branch.

Expérience négative: Trash policies. Recently, I canceled my membership after realizing gyms, in general, are a scam. Like, why on gods green earth would I pay to run in place on a machine when I can just go for a run around the neighborhood? Anyway, after that epiphany I went to cancel my membership because I wasn't going to be using it anymore, but because of a scummy policy I am being forced to pay for an extra month I have no intention on using. If I ever lose enough chromosomes to make the decision to join a gym again, it definitely will not be good life. Despite all that, the people I interacted with were all friendly and amazing.

Expérience positive: Nice gym. I like how there is always parking outside and there is no time limit so I never have to rush. Staff is usually friendly in the day time. Very convenient that it’s right beside a grocery store as well. It’s also nice the way the interior is designed so that you get so much sunlight on a nice day. I guess if I really had to comment on something that could be improved is there could be a few more machines. For example, maybe I missed it, but I couldn’t find a calf raise machine. The Harwood location has more equipment, but if you live near Westney and Taunton, it isn’t worth the extra drive just for that (at least in my opinion).

I have had issues with the app working and need to wait long to just be let in. I doubt they run regular maintenance as 1/3rd of their equipment barely works and is never fixed!

Expérience négative: Goodlife Fitness is a rip off business when you pay close attention to their policies. Spent six months with them and I was not provided with even tag or sport bag for six months. For six months I was getting answer we are short on tags and bags. But they were very much on time taking money from your account. If you have to downgrade your account , they will be charging you fee and if you cancel the member ship you will be still charged for next 30 days. You will be told their was a 30 day fine print policy for cancellation. There are other gyms with better price and non-rip off policies.

Expérience positive: For me this is most convenient gym locally to work out at after hours. They have everything most fitness clients need minus a pool/courts. Would be nice if there was 1-2 extra squat racks and extra benches during peak hours. Or perhaps enforcing time limits per machines/racks. I don’t mind working in with others but sometimes many are hogging the equipment and often in bigger groups who are just doing more socializing than exercising I find. Great gym just feel the space can be used better to accommodate the higher volume of clients .

Expérience négative: The club is good but don’t sign up for personal training sessions. The trainers will keep telling you to not worry about sessions being expired and the sessions will be reinstated but it doesn’t happen. I reached out in the beginning to cancel all personal training sessions as I no longer can make it but was told to not worry about it and I can come back whenever I am ready. I enrolled for more than a year and still did not get a full training plan even after repeated follow ups. Finally canceled membership and not signing up at this location again. Waste of time and money!

Expérience négative: Good gym, unless you are not okay with people recording you in the changerooms. For years, I have been going to many different GoodLife locations and this gym has the worst problem with people taking pictures in the changerooms. Employees will also do nothing about it and allow it even considering there are signs that clearly state it's not allowed. I have been in contact with head office regarding this issue. I was supposed to receive an email in 3-5 business days from the manager. It has been three weeks and I have not been contacted. I have followed up once, and still nothing.

If you plan on visiting during peak hours, good luck finding an open spot on any exercise equipment. I love Goodlife fitness and I always drive around to every location to meet up with my friends in every location and have a great service as I have always had with other locations but this one really disappointed me. Suren and Anthony Immature unprofessional and disrespectful showing egotistical behavior towards us. Not only should Goodlife consider hiring people who would make our experience better at the facility but they need to also look at the management at this location they run things there own way I’ve been to 50 locations across GTA and I’ve never felt this type of environment ever. Once again we over pay to be a customer of Goodlife compare to other gyms to have a good environment and a great experience and being treated like a good customer but instead we were treated like a nobody making us feel like should we even continue coming to Goodlife again.

Expérience fantastique: This is my favorite Goodlife. I have been training here for over a year. The staff is amazing and the gym has really good equipment that is well maintained. There is a good mix of members with different fitness goals. My previous location was full of attention seeking desperate members video taping themselves, and just socializing. My workout took twice as long waiting for them to stop watching videos while sitting on equipment.

Expérience positive: Good gym but no hack squat means leg days are incomplete. If only they had a hack squat lol I do have to say though, this gym's members have pretty bad gym etiquette, you'll often see dumb bells placed incorrectly or not returned at all. If you can see past that, the gym isn't bad. This gym also loses points for not having a pool

Expérience positive: I like it as it's not as busy as other locations. It doesn't have all the amenities so it attracts people arent in need of the all the extras. Which also means you get less of the people who toss weights on the ground, and walk around like their the next Arnold.

Expérience fantastique: Pretty large with a large variety of machines. Has dumbbells that goes up to 100 lbs, 3 squat racks and 2 platforms, sanitizing stations throughout to keep the gym clean, people who are generally nice, even a large amount of various cardio machines to keep you company. This gym has a good amount of benches, 2 smith machines, a jungle gym and 2 assisted pull-up stations. There are also a wide variety of cable machines for all sorts of exercises. This gym has everything you’ll need to a good workout.

Expérience fantastique: This location is one of our most preferred locations - the facility is always clean, and staff is always friendly. HUGE shout out to one of the employees - Amy - as she is a huge asset to GL. Her enthusiasm for access to fitness and dedication to the GL members really helped us choose a better plan that worked for us, and the family. Love being part of th GL community when I know the company cares for its members and employees!
