Expérience négative: Would you ask for documentation for a wheelchair? When why would you ask for a service dog? Disgraceful.

Expérience négative: As a veteran! What you did is completely absurd. Not letting a service dog in,just shows your lack of education and poor judgment. I will forward this article to all my veteran members. Shame on you!

Expérience négative: October 14th me and my partner took her nephews swimming. The 4 of us have gone multiple times with zero issues through out the entire summer. Today we got into the pool for less than 5 minutes and our nephews were told they had to wear a life jacket witch they did not want to, so they were told to go to the kiddy pool than, after that we decided to leave because this was the first time our nephews were told they had to wear a life jacket nor did the life guards on duty watch them swim for more than 2 minutes or perform an assignment. (Keep in mind we’ve gone over 15-16 times during the course of the summer) We asked for a refund and were told we had to wait 2-3 weeks and to get in touch with a manager before the refund is issued.

Expérience fantastique: We stopped in as we traveled through the area. Paid the family drop in rate and accessed showers and swimming pool. We had the pool to ourselves for at least 45 mins on Saturday morning. My son loved the slide! Lots of areas for any age and swimming level to enjoy!

Expérience fantastique: We took our 3 boys to the swimming facility for the first time Monday and we were blown away by the friendly and attentive staff. The head lifeguard, Mark, was so engaging with our kids and went out of his way to make sure the kiddos were having fun. The entire facility was spotless and organized and just truly so much fun. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire aquatic staff!

Expérience fantastique: Really wished I’d have had time to do more touring of this facility. I was there with colleagues for NS EMO workshop. What I saw was a big and bright community centre with lots of local information displayed. Everything was well marked and well attended.

Expérience fantastique: Lovely community center. They have lots of affordable daytime classes, and free programs like walk and roll for seniors.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent facilities, friendly staff - and cheap! For $9 you can get a day pass for unlimited swimming, $5 extra for rock climbing, and ice skating if you time it right!

Expérience fantastique: This place is a veritable paradise for children, replete with a playground, a pool, a climbing area, and an array of other engaging activities. The sizable hockey area offers a terrific outlet for teenagers seeking a hobby, and who knows, perhaps it may even launch some towards a professional sports career. Additionally, a gym is also available on site. Although not particularly large, it is equipped with all of the necessary equipment. Given the sheer number of visitors that flock here during evenings and weekends, it would be wise to plan your visit carefully.

Everything was so clean, very well ran, volunteers were friendly and helpful. It was just an all around great atmosphere. We look forward to being back again in the future

Expérience négative: Planned a family day and we took our 5 year old to the Rath Center swimming. We walked up to the desk and the young man there was far from pleasant because we said we were there before but he couldn't find our name in the system. After figuring out that his spelling was wrong we got changed and entered the pool. There were three different life guards on while we were there and they didn't look pleased with us right from when we entered. We were the only three people there and it was that bad that we ended up leaving early because we didnt feel like we were welcome there at all. I thought smiles were free!!!

Expérience fantastique: We LOVE the RECC Centre. We plan our week around 'going to the RECC'. I love the pool for lane swimming followed by the sauna and nice shower. What could be better! Allan enjoys the walking track and usually has a story from someone he has met on the track. When our grandchildren are here, they LOVE the climbing wall and the pool. Something for everyone. A happy place that adds much richness to our lives. Fitness is the bonus! March 2023 will mark its 10 year anniversary.

Expérience positive: They should of accepted the proposal in Millbrook. Why they chose not to build there .....pride ? A decent place that created jobs and has nice stuff. The parking during events is absolutely horrible . The seating at the stadium is meant for children and smaller adults. Whoever designed the seats was compensating for the amount of room that was allocated for the site they choose, I am assuming our idiot mayor Bill mills.... Millbrook had tons of land and all they had to do was put it up along the highway about 3kms.

Expérience positive: Been here alot for many things, have used their gym a handful of times, use the walking track often in the rain or winter. And during hurricane fioana they opened their showers to the public which i used on a couple occasions as well as had hot soup, snacks and a place to charge your device. Much respect to them for that.

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful, clean, friendly, multi-use facility. We were here again for another swim meet and were, as always, impressed with this facility. The washrooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the parking is ample. We have used the climbing wall in the past and that was a blast too. Truro is lucky to have such a wonderful facility!

We’re currently taking our grandson for swimming lessons and I’m thrilled with the swim support he gets and how great the girls are with him. It’s always clean and all thus far have been courteous, professional and great ambassadors for our community. Great staff. Stay safe all and a huge THANK YOU!
