Expérience fantastique: I had a lot of health concerns this summer which prevented me from being able to utilize the facilities. I delayed cancelling with the hope that the health problems would improve, but unfortunately they didn’t— meaning discontinuing my membership was the only logical choice. The staff were extremely helpful and understanding. They not only made the process quick and smooth, but made me feel like I wasn’t just another number in the company’s revenue stream. It’s reassuring to know Save On Fitness not only lives up to its name by providing affordable memberships to enable more people to utilize their incredible facilities but has a capable, caring, and empathetic team committed to a positive client experience from start to finish. An especially huge thank you to the gym manager Leah who oversaw my off boarding with grace and flexibility. Would 100% recommend the gym.

Expérience fantastique: Front desk staff are always polite and professional. Save on Fitness is unquestionably the best gym and certainly the prime option in Carleton Place! From my point of view, a couple of strong points are: The consistant upgrading of the equipment The extream amount of options the gym offers They maintain cleanliness and attention to detail throughout, which is the response of a great owner!

Expérience fantastique: I absolutely love save on from the equipment to the staff. The staff makes you feel so welcome no matter what whether you’re a first time gym goer or a professional. The equipment on level one is all you need to have a great workout, but if you really want to have the whole experience of the gym I highly recommend level 2. The atmosphere in level 2 is unmatched just like the equipment. BEST GYM IN OTTAWA!!!

Expérience positive: No air conditioning in the tier two members area. They open the door between the two areas but it's still very hot. Also it is 30% more expensive than the other two gyms in the area so the name is misleading. The equipment is great. No AC was a game stopper for me. Unless you like working out in a hot and humid place it's too much.

Expérience positive: Great equipment, friendly staff, dumbbells up to 200lbs. Overall its a pretty good gym, some things such as change rooms are lacking and its missing a posing room, no saunas, only one water bottle filler all the way in the lobby so you have to walk all the way across the gym to get water. Machines are very cramped together not well spaced. But the tier 2 member area has all high quality equipment (Arsenal, prime, etc). Pricing is high for what the gym has to offer facility wise. But no other gyms in the area can compete so you have to just bite the bullet and pay their pricing.

Expérience positive: Amazing gym other than in the last year new members don’t care to put weights away and should have their memberships terminated immediately just like the signs indicate around the gym.

Great facilities, staff is friendly, other members mind their own business and it's just a great place to workout whether you're a teenager, a middle aged dad or a professional body builder! Lots of equipment, rarely have to wait, and two tiered membership options.

Expérience fantastique: Save On Fitness is the best gym in the Ottawa area. Friendly staff, long hours, CrossFit and bodybuilding friendly (can drop the weights). Management regularly updates gym with high-performance equipment.

Expérience positive: I enjoy going here. Convenient and affordable. Could use more thorough cleaning as the floors are a little dirty. Other gym goers more or less wipe down equipment/rack weights despite signs saying not doing so will result in gym membership termination. Not meant to be a negative observation/criticism it would just really improve the gym experience. The vibe is a little off when some staff are loudly condeming Covid-19 as a myth, people who are vaccinated as idiots, etc. when they are in charge for their shift to sanitize, clean the gym/changerooms, and are sitting at the front desk right when you walk in the door. Not the best way to start a workout but other staff are nice.

Expérience fantastique: Amazing gym, great equipment for body builders and power lifters in Level 2. Tons of different equipment, deadlifting platforms, squat racks, and much more. Also a huge plus, the dumbbells go to 200lbs! This give you a ton of room to grow here without needing another gym. This gym is perfect for anyone at any part of their lifting career. The gym is very clean as well. The only con to the gym is the music. Must bring your own headphones, hard to get a pump or hit a PR to Justin Bieber. I highly suggest to stop by for a tour and check the place out!

Expérience négative: Unimpressed with the communication with this gym. Was not notified via email or phone call when the gym was closing or when it was reopening due to covid-19 and randomly got a charge to my visa. Called in to ask why I was charged and they said they had been open for three weeks now so just started charging me again without telling me, and refused to refund my month even though I did not approve to continue payments

Expérience fantastique: For me Save On Fitness is the perfect gym due it being open 24hrs. I usually have the place to myself when I go. They offer organized sessions with trainers, but I prefer to just throw some weight around and burn some calories on my own schedule. Facility is well lit, pipes in music, and has televisions with local news. There is lots of equipment and if others are there working out I've had no problem with access to equipment. Any equipment issues are generally fixed within a week, and it's clear that things are inspected regularly. I agree with another review about a water fountain would be nice, but bathroom sinks are not far to fill a water bottle. It's annoying that some members don't re-rack weights, but you'll run into jerks at any gym.

Expérience fantastique: I have been with Save On Fitness since July 2019. I have access to both sides of this gym. I love that I don’t have to wait to use equipment. Facilities are always clean and staff is always friendly and helpful. I read there was no water fountain in one of the reviews I’m not sure if they are aware there is water that comes out of the taps in the washrooms . I truly love it here and I’ve already lost 11 lbs since July so I highly recommend it. I have been to two other gyms in CP before this one and I find I’m much more inspired to work hard here as I’m more at home.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been to all the gyms in town and this is by far the best gym in my opinion. I felt really welcomed when I first signed up and still feel that way today! This is such a great environment to workout, whether you are a beginner or a heavy lifter! All is welcomed here, the classes are great too! I like that I have the option to workout on my own and workout with a group if I want to! It’s always so clean which I also love! I highly recommend giving it a try! Expérience positive: I've been a member for over 2 years and usually go daily. Very clean and well kept. No hidden fees and its very easy to cancel or even pause your membership without paying a second activation fee. I do find it costly to get the second level membership and really wish it would be lowered slightly. The equipment is top notch with the level two membership. The staff are friendly and approachable at all times. The changerooms have been upgraded which is a huge benefit now. All in all I have enjoyed my experience with save on and continue to.

Expérience fantastique: Clean facilities, new equipment, friendly people, and ownership is always making upgrades to meet the needs of users. The Circus Conditioning classes have experienced coaches that encourage a supportive, safe, and fun atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend!
