Expérience positive: Staff are great, knowledgeable and friendly, on the cheaper end of memberships in this town. Very cool bouldering area.

Expérience négative: Super rude lady from the start. Not sure why. Was annoyed that we were there I guess? We mentioned we were just there to pay for a day pass to use the shower and she got even ruder. She told us to leave because apparently they don’t let people do that anymore. Kinda shocked. And confused? Very anti climber vibe

Expérience fantastique: Great old school gym and run by really nice people. I think it's the only gym in Squamish that has a reasonable drop-in rate, so I stop in whenever I'm working Squamish.

Expérience fantastique: No frills, but all the gains. Love this place, friendly local gym. Actual metal plates and dumbells. Thus gym has great hours for fob members. 4 am till 11 pm. Great view of the chief as well.

Expérience fantastique: Squamish's best gym! I've been going to Squamish Athletic Club for years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. It is a relaxed environment and very affordable. The gym has everything needed to train for all the outdoor sports around Squamish like climbing, mountain biking, skiing, etc.

Expérience fantastique: I signed up at this gym a month ago. A very old school gym that is family owned. I love this gym very much. Since you can access it really late at night and early in the morning and usually it’s not busy at all which makes it perfect if you want to workout by yourself but have some exercises you would be afraid to do because of how low weight you would be lifting (Ik we all start somewhere but still). The gym owner is super nice. They take care of their gym. I’m surprised the amount of different equipment has. It even has a sauna. I know!! A SAUNA! I definitely recommend this gym because I’m a firm believer that we should support local businesses specifically after this pandemic. I don’t see myself ever stopping my membership anytime soon as the price is also very reasonable for the equipments offered to you.

Expérience négative: Woman at front desk told us wear masks when not mandatory anymore, she was really cranky as we only wanted to go in the showers told us to wash our hands after we had just sanitized them right in her face. Honestly would never go there again for a shower seeing as how it cost 5$ for a 5 minute shower. Mold in showers and broken support for shower head. Not a 5 $ shower and a very distasteful experience. 0/10 would not recommend.

Expérience fantastique: I can't find one bad thing to say about this gym. It's a great location, great equipment and its run by a fantastic woman! The climbing wall is a great addition to any gym and I couldn't be more happier with the one provided here as well. Great prices for a great gym.

Expérience fantastique: I love the chill atmosphere of the place. Everything one needs to lift, train, get stronger, or just stretch, rehab and relax is there. Simple, yet effective. While running on the treadmill, the views of the Chief keep me inspired, reminding me while I am there. So great. Old school is new school!

Expérience fantastique: I love gyms that seem like you’ll meet Sylvester Stallone working out in there - think Rocky 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. Clean, with well used equipment that can more than get the job done. And it costs what a gym should cost - I didn’t come for the spa / sauna that adds $20 to a day pass. Also - the views of the Chief are pretty awesome too!

Expérience fantastique: Love this place. Has everything you need. The workout machines have an amazing view of the chief and it’s never super busy. The only thing I would want is for them to have boxing gloves for the bag they have!

Expérience fantastique: This is a no nonsense fitness center for the dedicated. The equipment is a bit older, but everything is in good working order. This gym has everything you need and nothing you don't. The key fob option is awesome to let you in early when the gym is empty and not open yet. I love this place.
